rarez_hunter
I see "orica" cards on ebay all the time, i suggest you guys add a order function to actually order the card and own it. I dont think youd get a law suit or anything cause the company has obviously seen and has knowledge of people selling stuff on ebay for years, and amazon, also they put out youtube vids of "look at my cool orica cards" and no law suits i have heard of, and if so the profits out weigh it cause they are still making them to this day lol. i just doubt there would be any trouble with that. When i found this page i was looking for a tutorial or a program i could buy or a special printer or paper or whatever to make my own orica cards, yet found nothing, this page made me think i found a source of them... yet this is just a "pretend" page, we make a cyber card we cant play with, cant do anything with but look at and go "cool" or "sucks" to each other... we arent really MAKING cards, we are pretending... i am a little old to pretend LOL you guys prob are too old to pretend too lol cause we are all from a generation of people who PLAYED the game, and let me tell you my step son is 12 and has NEVER heard of yugioh till i told him about it LOL (talk about feeling old) so i know we are all old here, but why play pretend? why not make a way to order the cards to have fun games at home and actualy use them, i GUARANTEE the site would TRIPLE in traffic, and would make way more money if they actually had something to sell (a custom card) and actually made it so people could have fun and use them (not pretend like a little kid) that would take this page to a WHOLE other level!!! And if selling the custom cards is not a option cause you are under manned or whatever and cant produce that amount of cards cause orders would be too much to handle from the memebrs then i suggest: a.) get more employees and start making money dude, wake up!! or b.) put a thread up that TEACHES people how to MAKE ORICA CARDS, so we can design them on the page (makeing the page useful) and then we could read the thread (also useful from the page if you had a orica tutorial) and then make them ourselves!! It would be a kick a$$ page if we could do that! Right now its just a forum of old people pretending cards and looking and judging each other... kinda wierd lol, but just my 2cents! Kyakan
What's an orica card? OT: I dunno what to say since I don't get what you're talking about. If you're talking about having YCM have an option where you pay them $X and they make your custom card look just like a real one, No.
rarez_hunter
well 283 posts... seems like you like yugioh... and dont know what a orica (ORIgional CArd) card is? wow k... well anyways maybe you will read the whole thing and make a positive post about how to make something like that happen instead of be a person who posts with nothing to say but "hey look at my screen name in this thread " ... thanks for the "no" on making cards for people... But for those who can read a entire post out there, my second things was if you CANT make cards to sell people that look like the ones they made, why not create a thread area or forum spot to talk about HOW THOSE KIDS IN JAPAN MAKE THEM SO NICE so we can DESIGN THEM ON THIS PAGE (making it useful for something other then grown up adult pretend fantasy card judging... lame) and making a THREAD OR FORUM AREA for learning how to do it would make the site... oh i dont know... USEFUL!?!?!? i mean what do we do here? look at each others fun ideas then never even play with them, nor use them online, and the rules on the forum say we cant even ASK them to add a gaming portion to this, we have to get a home version of the game, but then who do we play with? this is a online area, its a social place to meet people and share and exchange ideas, so i would think this would be the best place to duel and meet people to duel, though that is NOT a option. Sooooooo how do we fix this site from being useless and making cyber cards i can just show a bunch of rude people so they can say stuff like "i dont know what that is" or "that card isnt written perfect" or "that sucks, epic fail card nerrr" like anyones opinion really matters... if anything custom cards are BEST for at home use, for dueling with people we know and have set rules with, and they can decide to be overpowered or whatever they want, with out the jerk comments from random immature adults who live accross the country. WHY NOT make a tutorial on HOW those japanese kids make the orica cards?!??!! that is the only thing this page is missing! If it gave us a idea of how to even MAKE cards with quality, then this page would be SOOOO VALUABLE! right now its just a collection of sad adults who are rude to each other... i read most of the threads, and not too many nice people on here. Kyakan
A tutorial on how to make Japanese style cards? A tutorial on how to print cards and make them look real? Dude, I really have no idea what you're talking about here.

A tutorial on how to print cards and make them look real? Dude, I really have no idea what you're talking about here.
super helpful... why even post to say "i dont know"? why not just not know and not post? talk about fail... anyways, anyone who is HELPFUL or has any intelligent way to design cards the way they do on ebay, then it would deffinatly be a boost to this page, the page is full of... people like the last poster... i think that explains itself. The page could use some more helpful people who know stuff about custom cards, REAL custom cards, not play land fantasy pretend world cards. The page sort of has no use right now, adding a section devoted to tutorials on how to make them in reality would be a major jump in the right direction, plus it costs no money to make a card and requires no effort like selling it or restocking things, its simple information given away to help players who are interested. But whatever if no one wants to do the homework on how to do that then have fun with guys like the halo helmet guy who doesnt seem to know anything LOL wow... BTW for the smart guy with a million posts (prob just as useful) why not use this "guid to stupid people on how to learn something related to the sybject at hand" to learn a thing or 2 about what this thread is about before you post that you know nothing to the world (kinda embarassing for you if you ask me) step 1: go to www.ebay.com step 2: search (in the search bar, the thing you can type in at the top) and put "orica yugioh cards" step 3: stop being dumb. .Rai
How can I print my created cards? 1. Make sure the card(s) you've made are saved in an easy-locatable place on your hard-drive. 2. Try to print Nine (9) cards at the same time on one A4 sheet, so open them all up in a program such as Microsoft Word, or Microsoft Publisher, and leave a gap between them, so it is easier to cut later. 3. Make sure that every card has the dimensional width of: 2.3125 inches and a hight of 3.375 inches, or a width of 5.9 Centimeters and Hight of 8.6 Centimeters. 4. Make sure you have an A4 size printer. Buy some "Photo Paper" or "High Gloss Paper" and set your printer settings compatible with the paper. 5. Print it off, in High-Definition. Make sure it is HD, because it can easily get messed up otherwise. 6. Time to cut out. Get a very sharp knife, and a ruler (scissors will also do, but a knife can be more accurate), place the ruler up against the edges of the card, and cut out! Note: Guillotines can also be used (not the head-chopping off ones...). 7. Check the thickness of your card. If it seems the same thickness of a real card, just print the back of the card onto the, well, back of the card. If not, you can print off another sheet with card-backs on, and stick them together.
Quote from Common Question and Answers FAQ. Please read before posting. There are already many tutorials for this. As soon as the Search function works again, you can search for them in Forum Index -> Questions & Help -> Tutorials. rarez_hunter
k to the guy that thinks he is smart with the halo helmet, ya i did "LOL", at you for being dumb LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyways, your posts are completely useless, and ya you could make a whole thread on the subject guy... how about a thread with a youtube video tutorial upload to start it off, then people post pics of cards they make and give new tips they find to make them better, cleaner, more real, ya it would fit in a thread smart guy. Then again i feel bad calling you smart guy cause you cant even find a orica card in english on ebay when it took me like :30seconds including attaching it to the last post i had nerrrrrr LOL anyways, hope you dont reaveal your tardness anymore on THIS thread LOL... halo helmet guy = epic fail still... still... To the SUPER AWESOME HELPFUL GUY who posted AFTER the tard, YOU ARE A BEAST BRO!!! I have been looking for a list of things that could make it possible to do the orica card thing and you are the FIRST PERSON who knew anything about it! Do yo know how they make them look parallel rare too? or get ranbow writing on them or gold writing? is there a foil they use you are aware of? THANKS A BUNCH FOR THE LEAD!!! they should give you an other star under your name or something for being freaking awesome and helpful!!! thanks a lot!!! cursed reaction = ubber pwnage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also if there is so much in the FAQ about the making cards thing, why not make a thread about it? that was the origional idea i had for them to boost how useful the page is, till halo helmet goof ball jumped in and thought he was gonna be smart or funny thinking it was a dumb idea when like almost EVERYONE who makes these cards ACTUALLY WANTS TO OWN THEM... deffinatly thread worthy, i suggest they add one on it, EVERYONE would use it... except halo helmet guy, he doesnt get it?!?!?!?
This site wasn't made to deal with making the cards real, I for one find no point in it, since they actually have no value as actual cards and you can't use them in public events. If you want to duel your friends with the cards you made, just print them out and put them in front of an actual card in a card sleaves.
.Rai
As stated, custom-made cards cannot be used in public tournaments and for that matter, be sold publicly either. The point is that not many people on this website want to do this so chances of it happening are very low. But, if it is for personal use: Printing a holographic design onto plastic foil could work. Metallic writing is proper professional stuff and cannot be done easily with normal means without machinery.
Lewk
Orica cards are works of art that people have built with their own hands. They didn't use any generators, however you're welcome to print off your card and sell it as an "Orica" card. The most popular Orica card(s) happen to be a set of 20+ Dark Magician Girls with hentai artwork. I have them all. U MAD BRO?
SunshineSoldier
OK, first of all, the average age of people on this site is 14 - 20. Also, what's the point of paying to get cards that are never aloud to be used? It's just stupid. (No offence, Lewk) Also, this site was made to make cards and get them reviewed, Hence the name. Duh. (None of the popular ones are made with online generators, they're all hand built with expensive materials). They're purely for collectors purposes, just like you'd buy a painting to put on your wall.
