Logmon1
Okay, I have a few Spirit monsters, and one suppoting trap card. I'm wondering if I should throw them in my deck and try to get some use from them. Spirit Monsters: http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Spirit
The Slime Lord
Spirits aren't good. Really Asura and Yata are, but Yata has been banned for a while. I'm pretty sure it was one of the reasons they decided to make a ban list.
uzumakinaruto93
i think the chaos decks where the reason for the banlists
The Slime Lord
Yeah, that too. But Yata was used in most Chaos Decks. I didn't have it in my deck, but I wanted it. Even if I knew how cheap it was. I remember getting stuck in a Yata-Lock quite a few times. It was cheap and annoying.

iAmNateXero
All opinions. Think about it. Spirit monsters have many cool effects, but they also have a drag effect. They all has to bounce back to the hand. However lets look at a few of them. Asura Priest, the power to power house all monsters, and hits fairly well for a lvl 4 creature. Nice. Dark Dust spirit. 2200, more than cydra, and with Mausoleum on the field, its like paying 1000 for vortex. Hino has the power to drop your opponents entire hand, and yata has the power to replenish your hand. Its just how you think about it. Effect wise, there all good, however they are very costly. Axiom_Nor
I know a kid who once had a spirit deck with out yata.and it was actually not a half-bad deck. I love their artworks!
Wicket
Depends, some are good, like Asura, which I have, and Yata, but Yata's too good (List), and since they have that bounce-back effect, and since their strategies don't always work, they're not necessarily the best cards to deck with. In my opinion.
Ultima™
There pretty good, asuki, yata is banned, yamata is used good with MOTE
Wicket
Depends, not all of them are good, some are, and mostly combined with other cards for good strategies, and even the chances of getting those cards for that strategy are slim to simply none. Cyber Altair
they are cool but here are some pros and cons-Pros.1. cool effect and do some real damage which we were lacking.2. cool names lol. Cons. 1. chances are that you have your field empty during your opponents turn.2. Costly to summon. so i think that they wont be too good in your deck.
