"NAVDEFCOM's Confermed the Touchdowns. Approximately twenty-five miles, Anti-clockwise. Colonal's approved the OCD to begin Action on the Unknown Vessle." Kana rose and withdrawed from his Trenchcoat pocket a small Circular device, made of metal and green glass. There he placed it into a small slot on the Holographic controls. Avatar's form began to shake and shrink into the trinket, leaving the room's vein's of light to become dark and dull. The A.I had placed his entire intelgence into once small device that projected a smaller Version of his form from the Glass. Avatar, Aware of what kana was thinking, Nodded his head at him, Then Shuting down his hologram to conserve the Device's Power supply. The device was ripped from the Hologram and placed back into the Pockets of Kana as he began to walk back into the Tunnels of the Xenoarcological Facility.

There was Several duelists, Clad in Metal armor and Polarised Helmets stood beside Specialised duel runners. Each was Insigiated with a Diamond and checkered Pattern, Below, "OCD, Section 4" Was Printed in matching Colours. A Siren begain to Whirl around the giant Room they stood in, Amber lights's Flashing. Several of the duelists Sprung from whatever they where doing and Prepeared themselves onto there D-Wheel's. Another one rushed into the Room from Sliding doors, Loading up a Mangum Pistol which was holsted into a Slot on his Thigh armor.

"You know the music. Time to Dance." He Remarked.

"So, Im guessing this is not a Training Excerise, Romeo?"
"No. NAVDEFCOM detected a unauthorised Touchdown Anti-Clockwise, Twenty miles Outisde. We're the Welcoming Comttie."
"So, Torch the B******'S that just ruined our Quiet Week?"
"No. Command want us to Detain the Crew until Security come and Send them to the Facility. Keep the Blood to a Minimun."
"Damm. I needed Target Practice."
"Sorry, Dutch. Best you could hope for is for a Turbo Duel."
"Yea, Rookie, better stick to the Card games. Your not Ready for some Gore Just yet."
"Shut up, Max. Your no better then that Rambo character in the VR."
"Enouth. Shuffle your decks, Count your Card's and get ready to go Turbo."

The front walls began to open as the Final Duelist mounted onto his D-Wheel, Engines beginning to Roar over the Sirens. 5 red lights Lit over the Doors to a Duel-Way in the Center of Aesir. 5 beeps Followed the red light before Turning Green. Smoke and the smell of Burnt rubber followed the D-Wheel's Take-off into the Direction of the Sunset at about Eighty-Five Mile's per Hour.

"I do not use the powers of darkness so I don't get stronger at night." The Tao King said. "But I wouldn't get weaker, either. My power comes from the god of Yin resting inside of me and the Mu spirits who serve me. But, yes. I see little problem with the landscape. Perhaps it would be best to set up a camp. My Dusk is undetectable when cloaked, except by other spirits, and they can only faintly sense it. It could patrol the area and warn me if something unknown is coming. Of course, on a place such as this, I wouldn't be surprised if it was detected."

Rei yawned, then snuggled up to Akira, hugging him as she drifted off into peaceful slumber.

Vicky awoke as Kyza and the Tao King were talking. "We have company." She looked off into the distance as the gates of the massive walled city-fortress opened to let several Duel Runners out. "Alright, everyone, except Kyza and the Tao King, act as we discussed on the way here." Vicky stood out in front of the line of (mostly) black and silver Duel Runners blocking the road the approaching Duel Runners were heading down as the agents formed a line as well, their weapons at attention. "Kyza, Tao King, to either side of me, and let me do the talking."

The Tao King had managed to sense them, but Victoria had beaten him to the warning. That didn't matter, however. "Very well." He said to her. But unbeknown to them all, he did a hand-sign with his right hand, signaling his Dusk to appear, sorta-kinda-maybe, since it was invisible and intangible, and could only be sensed by spirits, and even then it was only faint. The Dusk understood immediately. It was supposed to take in all available information from the ensuing events. As always. Hm, I wonder what is going to happen right now?

The Squad of D-Wheel's advanced and where reach speed's over One Hundread miles per hour. There, the landscape of the city changed to Orange pastures of grass, Lit by the Artificial Sunset. At the left, one of the Five duelists Took lead over the group; The other's Falling back by a couple of Meters. There, he reached for a Metal case strapped to the side, Withdrawing a Medium sized, Rectange device with a handgrip, Trigger and a Glass range scope on the top. He Lifted the device onto the Sholder with one Cleen sweep, Keeping his left hand on the grip.

"Target Aquired, Max?"
"Locked. Brace yourselves; The charge is at Level 7."

The remaining duel runners lowered there speed Dramticly and fell back more, While Max's remained Constant.

"Grenade Away!"

The device was a Specialised Grenade launcher! Max pulled the trigger and fired a Cylinder canster with a Flashing yellow ring around the top. From the Opposite base, A small roecket propeled the Grenade to the D-Wheels at Breakneck speed. Max himself lowered the Grenade launcher back into its Container and fell back witht he others into a Arrow formation.

Stood by Vicky's side, Kyza had been prepared to take it calmly and quiety, to simply lurk as her bodyguard and nothing more, for this was the mission she was in charge of. He was merely here to supply backup and, if needed, the anchor Vicky needed as always. The sight of the grenade heading towards them had thrown that to one side, and he stepped in front of his fiancee with an almost maniacal grin upon his expression. They were attacked first, hence he was to do as he was ordered.

Like something from an Old Western movie, like the kind he loved to watch when not watching Vicky's collection, he flicked the long material of his trenchcoat from his hip to one side, clearing the holster upon his hip of any obstruction. He grabbed the holstered dueldisk pistol and drew it, his Nazca lines upon his body glowing slightly as he took aim from the hip and fired at the grenade. The bullet connected with the grenade, but did not do as a usual bullet would. Thanks to Vicky's enchantments, the same he hoped one day to master himself, the round had a lot more kick to it, detonating the device far earlier then expected before it became a danger to himself, the Tao King or Vicky. He whistled impressively at the sight, an inane giggle much like his father's own insane laughter echoed from his lips.

"oooo, my beloved Witch, seems the locals need to learn to play nice...."

(Sorry if that seemed rushed, but a) Kyza's speciality is gunslinger style combat so he could pull off that shot, and B) just needed to get this going again, hope nobody minds)

The Dusk, Thirteen, was about to destroy it himself, but Kyza had acted faster. Thirteen could actually had at that time sworn that he had pierced the grenade before saying a few things to their opponents, but apparently, that didn't happen, but it used to happen, however one were to put it. Either way, Thirteen went on the offensive. He had the advantage of not being detected yet. He could sneak to one of them and kill them, but that wouldn't be righteous and it would definitely wreck the perception of the Tao King. So he kept quiet, waiting until their attackers tried something else.

Vicky awoke to the sound of a grenade going off, and turned to see the approaching Duel Runners. She narrowed her eyes and started casting a spell. "Yes, they do, my love. Yes, they do." She fired the spell at them, which changed the solidity of the road in front of them, causing the Duel Runners to become stuck until only the heads of the riders were sticking out of the pavement. Vicky got up and walked over to them.
"As you can see, you have no idea who you are dealing with, but your assumptions about us were very, VERY wrong. We do not mean any harm. We are simply explorers, trying to understand the rich history of the construct you live on. Since your city is one of the more active establishments on the surface of this Ringworld, we decided to set up a forward operations base next door, hoping we might be able to make friends with what is apparently called 'Aesir'."
"Instead, you send a virus up into our ship and try to attack us, a diplomatic party wishing to tell this to your leaders. For some reason unknown to us, you have decided we are hostile in our intentions, and have therefore attacked us while we see that we have given no provocation for you to do so. However, we have defended ourselves rather well, while making sure not a drop of blood is spilled."
She crouched down in front of the leader of the attack party. "So I ask you this: why are you attacking us?"

"We're Under command from the Office of Colonal Defence. We dont know much ourselves." The Captian told them, Ensnared by Living tarmac. "There was some kind of Pulse around the ring. Just hour's ago it knocked out everyone in the city. Everyone; Men, woman and children where all uncouscious. Even us. We just woke up and then we got the order to Detain you and your crew Until security arrives to move you to a Secure Facility. The office Believes this was a Hostile attack and you where a Scouting part for some kind of Offence. Now, Can you free me and my team now! This Kind of iches." The captian moved his head to try and scratch the back of the neck with the Pavement. The others just groaned as they themselves attemted to escape.

Back at the Xenoarcological Site...

Kana walked up the stairs to return to the Ringworld's surface. As he turned left, somthing rumbled inthe inside pocket of his Trenchcoat. He retrieved from his Pocket a silver Mobile, Playing a section of the Red Faction theme song as it's ringtone. He pressed the touchscreen and Placed the mobile to his ear.

"Yes, Director here." He Stoped on the spot as he took the call.
"Colonal, Im Aware of the Touchdown. Avatar was the A.I that attempted to Discover anything about the Contact."
"You sent the 105th Squadren to Detain? Do You even know that Rapid responce is not within your power unless a State of Emergency is declared?"
"Whatever knocked out the Population is not a Valid reason for a State of Emergency, Colonal Holland. Your on Thin ice right now."
"If you Must know, the Comet that the Cosmicolgy Department was tracking, Crashed during the Event. It's most likley the main cause."
"Don't give me that Attitude, Colonal, or I will have you Court Marshled for Insubordination."
"Blackmail? I dont want anything from you, Holland. I just need you to shut your mouth, Give your Commanders some respect and do your Job Properly!"

The Converstation ended as he pressed the End Call button in frustration. He just continued to walk back to his Duel runner, Angry at the Poor job the Office of Colonal defence was doing, Handling recent events.

Kyza turned from the securities and the others, his back to them as he gently pressed a finger to hs earpiece, "Handless Gunslinger to Out of Time, we've made contact with the locals on less friendly terms then expected. Our resident Witch neutralised them, it seems something on the surface knocked out everyone in the nearby city and they mistook us for scouts for an attack." He sniggered his quirky, high pitched laughter once more, turning to look at them as the hood of his top kept him contentedly in the darkness where he felt comfortable, "I bet this has to do with the hell the Tao King mentioned being released earlier, hmmm? Listen, tell me later if you must, or I'll ask our Witch. We'll continue as we stated and set up our forwards operation base, probably make camp too." he glanced to the dusky sky, then looked to Vicky, "Love? How much longer until sundown, this hood and these shades are starting to bug me. Plus we need to set camp and figure out what to do. You still chatting with the locals?" He smiled, walking up to her side slowly, reaching out to brush loose hair from her face

The orange figure began to slow down as he entered Aesir's Core distric. It was a Landscape of Steel and glass Skyscrapers which would dwarf Moutains. The Road he drove on was suspened by the Tower's themselves, About 3,000 feet above the Lush Ground. Around, both Cars and D-Wheels where Rushing to there destinations, Only to find that Rush hour had Compressed the traffic to a Halt. His speed was cut Dramiticly and was stuck in a Lane by the side. Looking to his left, The Largest and Grandist Building what stood in the city Gleemed in the Dying sunset; The Central Complex.

It was Three skyscrapers of Epic hight, The shortist piercing the City's Canopy and still streching into the Clouds, The tallest would dwarf even Mount Everest. They where arranged in a Triange formation, Large Circlular platforms connect eachother and the Suspended Highways together at Various Levels. The figure glanced at the Medium sized tower, Frouning.

"Please, Be here. Time's Running out."

The figure glanced at the darkening skys as somthing Scratched the Peaceful Amber with Mavolent Purple.

(FinalFan, sorry if I'm cutting Desna and Itsu out of the chance of a reply, but I think we've all hit a moot point, and something should be done. To quote Darkwing Duck; Let's get Dangerous!)

Though Kyza was his usual, smirking self, the lack of reply on the end of his radio earpiece was worrying him. He had turned from the rest of the group to try to communicate once again, but was having no success other then a dull crackling. It wasn't static, more like something localised was interfearing with his equipment. He felt angered by this, not just because he couldn't communicate with the rest of the group, but the idea that something was able to interfear with them... perhaps it was the years and years of interdimensional travel, but it made him feel superior at times. The comment Vicky had granted him earlier, speaking of the future they could share together accessing the dark abilities that lay within them... it had tempted something darker within him, not the lingering threat of Ccapac Apu but darkness within Kyza himself.

Slowly, he turned to the rest of the group, studying the sky quietly before stepping forwards.

"Ok, since our Witch is interrogating the team sent to attack us, I want the rest of us to set up camp now. I want a 50-50 division of our numbers, Team 1 will sleep first and then take over guard duties while Team A start the Guard duty and then swap. We don't exactly know what is happening at this moment in time with whatever took out the locals, so they will be nervous handling whatever that is. Setting up contact with them is still priority, but as we've just seen they're suspicious and scared. Therefore, best to lay low and try again when things have settled. Also, we need to set up a connection point here with the ship, a middle-ground. Ok, get set up!" Kyza ordered to the others, leaving Vicky in her further interrogation of the ones who attacked them and chuckling as he approached the Tao King, granting him a faint, brief salute.

"Best we settle down for the long haul, this could be a long event getting set up. I suggest you set up your own tent or structure for sleeping in. I'm going to stay up until it gets dark, then do a brief investigation myself" He giggled at that, the sound slightly maniacal as the hints of smokey darkness drifted from behind the shadows of his shadows, looking forward to the dark's return

It had been in fact the Dusk interfering, under orders of the Tao King. He had a plan that he was going to use to its fullest. When he had sensed the release of Pandora, he knew an opportunity had arisen. The goddess of luck was smiling down upon him. Or perhaps it was only a huge coincidence. That didn't matter. What did matter was that the Tao King needed no communication between the landing team and Itsu Solace. Opportunity.

And it wasn't only the Tao King who had opportunity Omoikane, the other Tao King, looked down at the scroll on the table of rock. He picked it up and opened it. It was the key. Earlier, he had sensed a huge power awaken, but that didn't bother him. He would take care of it soon enough. He grinned as he tested a word on his tongue. Opportunity.

Unfortunately, there was no opportunity for Faze. She looked around, completely lost. For her, there was no opportunity.

A hand was waved in front of the Tao King's face, a few rapid shakes of the pale, slender fingers in a attempt to get his attention

"Hey, Mr Tao King sir, you there or are you zoning out like everyone else? I said, best to get yourself settled into some sort of tent or somewhere to sleep. Now I don't know if you snap your fingers and stuff comes out of the ground, or if you have to make a tent like the rest of the group," he gestured to the others, some taking up positions to watch over the others as they started to set up sleeping bags and tents, all in futuristic stylings and technology that was traditionally asociated with Itsu and her fellow travellers, with the exception of himself and Vicky.

The Tao King turned to the people who were making their tents, before turning back to Kyza. "I. . . fine." He snapped his fingers and two more of his Mu Spirit appeared, although invisibly. They made their way to an unfinished tent, and dragged it to a quiet area, before setting it up quickly. But from an outside eye with no special powers, it would appear as though the tent was making itself. The Mu Spirits weren't intangible so it would be easier to detect them. Then the tent was done, and the Mu Spirits disappeared. "But just so you know, I do not sleep." He said. "What I do is enter a state where I am fully aware of everything and can move around, only I cannot use my powers since they are recuperating and becoming stronger. Every time I enter the state, I become stronger. I have a certain tribe of elves to thank for this."

Kyza raised his brow slightly upon seeing the tent assembling itself, he had seen Vicky performing similar magiks but this was rather differant to him, "Right.... Ok, well, however you do what it is that you do, at least you can establish yourself here. You say elves? What, you rolled a D20 or something?" It was probably due to too much time with Desna, or the fact his fiancee was so powerful, or even just years of interdimensional travel, but Kyza was finding it difficult to take much on board with reguards to others who had gained great powers through whatever reasons, "Sorry, sorry, don't mean to be rude. Tell me more about it, I'm curious. Besides, I have plenty of time to kill until the night rolls in."

"Fine, then. I see no problem." The Tao King said. "I was once the son of an extremely powerful being. Unfortunately, he wasn't there when I died in a plane crash. However, he did revive me, but I was not complete. I was missing many things, a heart, a soul, an appearance, and memories. He sent me to a dimension of chaos, where most of the population has been destroyed. There, I discovered tablets buried deep underground. They were like the Duel Monster tablets owned by the ancient Egyptians, but they were different. I soon learned that they were Mu Spirits. After four years of helping the residents fight off the enemies, and finally toppling their leader, he appeared to me again and gave me a name. He wanted to take me somewhere, but dropped me on the way, leaving me to fall into a dimensional void, where I couldn't die. I went insane for a while, because all I could do was float around, but then I got my head right and escaped. I donned the title 'Tao King' after my great-grandfather, and went on a journey to achieve my goal, omniknowledge. However, my memories were soon wiped and replaced, and I served under my father, who I believed to be my brother. Soon, I recovered my memories, but the experiences as the Tao King was still gone.
After the ultimate enemy had been defeated, the one who had earlier returned, and my so-called father disappeared, I traveled around the multiverse with the help of the Mu Spirits, which had grown fond of me. Unfortunately, the void, which had granted me immortality, had also given me an illness which was going to kill me soon. I did not give up, however, and went for a universe which could be called 'the center of nature'. However, there was nothing but trees and flowers and herbivorous animals, all which I deemed useless. I was to die there. I truly almost died, but humanoid-like beings came and rescued me. They had special powers and as I lay unconscious, they resolved to heal me. Unfortunately, they couldn't, and instead decided on something else. They let me die, but then they gave life into me, turning me into an elf myself. Elves are immortal, and the illness of the void was gone. I was only partially an elf, though. The elves were special, as they did not sleep. Instead, they entered a state where they were aware of everything and could move around, only they could not use their magic powers.
Since I knew as much about their magic powers as an infant, I to this day wear a mask which is supposed to force me to adapt to the magic powers I should have. The mask has no holes for the eyes, so I cannot see. Its design leaves no room for me to breath. Anyway, since sleep is supposed to rejuvenate humans, and this special trance of the elves is supposed to rejuvenate themselves, it made me become more than simply rejuvenating every time, it made me become stronger, and clears my mind ever the more. Did I mention that the elves played Duel Monsters as well? They used no Fusions, no Synchros, no Rituals, or Effect monsters for that matter. The only monster cards they used were Normal monsters and Exceed monsters. When I obtained my own Exceed Monster, I regained every memory I had ever had, and I remembered things that are not remembered by the ordinary human. I know everything there is to know about myself, and so I cast my old identity away and became the Tao King once more once again for the goal of omniknowledge. How I am doing that is something I shall keep secret. Now, I think I have told you enough, and I assume that it has been an hour. But what about you?"

Itsu and Desna chose not to reply to Kyza, mainly because he was violating what they had told him earlier regarding radio silence.

Vicky rose the Captain up out of the ground, but kept his legs inside of the pavement. "I want you to radio your superiors and tell them what is really going on, including the fact that we are not at all linked to this event you are talking about. We only recently arrived here, and merely want to open diplomatic relations. Once you do that, I will free all of you, and then you will escort us to your superiors. Please do not double-cross us, or else I will make sure you regret it."

As the Tao King's Mu spirit had been blocking Kyza's transmission, it was probably for the best anyway as Kyza often wasn't used to taking control. He did as he wanted, went where he was needed.

He listened to the Tao King, nodding gently as he listened to him. "Me? I'm Kyza Kiryu, not really much more to tell then that. I was picked up by Itsu in her travels, like she picks up so many waifs and strays from temporal timelines and universes" He chuckled, looking around him at the increasing darkness of the incoming night time, as the lines upon his body started to become more visible. The nazca lines of the Giant, carved deep within his skin, "I don't mean to be vague, but to be truthful I don't know how much I should share. Sure, you have your little ghoulies flitting around..." he referred to the Mu spirits, "but obviously you're stronger then me. So rather then get into competition, let's just keep working together and then go our seperate ways, seem fair?" He had by now removed his shades and his hood, his long burgendy red hair falling down his back and his ark signer-esque eyes glancing back to Vicky thoughtfully, "Seems she's still interrogating"

The Tao King glanced at her himself before turning back to Kyza. "There are millions in the world who think they are stronger than they really are." He said. "But you don't know the height of your own power. Of course, no one knows their own height. Reminds me of Yuma and Astral, though I'm not very interested in them. I only met an alternate dimension one. Still, it's been a while since I've last dueled, Kyza Kiryu. So how about a duel? But only an ordinary one, using no cosmic power, simply to 'pass the time' since your fiancee is still busy. So how about it?"

"A duel...? Alright" Kyza slowly rose to his feet, removing the duel blaster from his right hip, drawing it as he would a 6-Iron from his holster before placing it upon his left wrist. It unfolded and fastened, a style similar to how his father's duel disk worked, however where the cards would be placed a shadowy aura radiated from Kzyza's form, crafting the required slots and holders from the dark energy within as per Vicky's design. He drew his starting hand, 5 cards as usual, looking at them with a nod.

"Ok, I think you should go first. Forgive the dark energies..." he gestured to the duel disk, I cannot use this duel disk any other way, my fiancee crafted it as such."

"Fine." The Tao King thrust his left arm forward and a Duel Disk appeared on it. But it wasn't an ordinary one. It was a D-Pad. The Deck Zone was placed in the side of the wrist while the Graveyard Zone was placed on top. It then activated, and the Card Zones seemed to materialize onto the device. It also featured a touch screen that allow the duelist to activate card effects. He drew five cards from his deck. "So I'll go first, draw." And the Tao King then drew a sixth card.

"First, I activate the continuous spell card, Superior XIII Device!" A device then appeared above the Tao King, which slowly spun around on its own axis. "Next, I activate the spell card Cost Down, which by discarding a card from my hand allows me to deduct two levels from a monster in my hand. So I discard The Heart of XIII, and now I Normal Summon Organization XIII The Key Counterfeit!" A monster then appeared on the field. It looked like a teenage girl with darkish hair wearing a black coat and wielding a gigantic key for a weapon (ATK 2000). "I now activate the effect of The Key Counterfeit, it allows me to place a XIII Counter on another card I control, and that card will be the Superior XIII Device." The girl turned and pointed her keyblade at the device, and from it shot a white laser which hit it. The girl then turned back to Kyza. "I set a card and end my turn."

The captain nodded to Vicky's request. Placing his hand onto the side of his Helmet, a ring of light formed around the area the earphones where built into it. Inside, the Visual Intelligence system started. The ring flashed to green and yellow in repeat until Turing green after the helmet configured itself to the right radio signal.

"This is Royal-1. Targets have been Identified as non-hostile. Withdraw Security units. Repeat, withdraw security. The targets claim to be Ambassadors." There was a pause, the operator processed news to someone else.

"This is Operator, Royal-1. Securities has been called off. The director is being contacted right now under the Tiamat protocol. Until then, escort few of the Ambassadors to Fortune tower, if possible. Until then, dismiss Royal's two to six back to the barracks. There overdue for simulations." The green ring flashed to red, then nothing as it shut down the radio.

"Done. But, we still have protocol's. The director of Colonial defense needs to meet you and begin formal relations. I'm to escort a couple of you to the Fortune tower, just over there." he pointed to the city, at the tallest normal skyscraper in the skyline, Only dwarfed by two more, mega-skyscrapers and the Orbital elevator that extended into the darkening sky.

Kana turned around the building to his D-Wheel that glistened in the orange sunset. He brushed his left coat tail away as he mounted himself onto his D-wheel, showing the longsword scabbard that was attached to his leather belt. The sword's grip handle was Painted in gold, with a 'V' shaped wrist guard in silver.

Kana groaned as his phone rung again, ripping it from his pocket and placing it to his ear. "Director here." Flicking the switches on the central panel, he withdrew the glass trinket which his Virtual counterpart was stored and slotted it into his D-Wheel. The screen flickered into life as K.A.N.A (Avatar) was loaded up.

"Director, We've got Ambassadors. The Tiamat protocol is under effect. We need you at the Fortune tower."

"Ambassador? Perfect. Guessing its a late night for me then."

"Sorry sir. But law is law. Cannot upset the parliament."

"I know. I will be there in a hour." Kana hanged up and took his helmet from a little compartment below the seat. Avatar glanced on Kana though the glass. Kana just put his helmet on and gripped the hand grips. He shot off with a trail of smoke to the Gate, which had been opened beforehand.

(Announcing my official return! Right now, just trying to throw myself back into the RP.)

Zero walked out of the tower after several hours had passed. The was covered in cuts and bruises, and bleeding quite a bit. He looked over at Rei and Akira. "Wake up, you two. We need to relocate." Zero said loudly. "Our location was betrayed, and we need to find the other three guardians." Zero continued. By the end of his last sentance, he began shaking a bit. After jus a few seconds passed, he fell to his knees, and collapsed. Before passing out, he muttered something inaudible, and felt life slip from him. He was still alive, but inches from death.

-Zero's "Dream"-

Zero awoke to a loud crashing sound. He looked up from his position, laying on the ground. He was in front of a very small stretch of land, completely made of wood. A few yards away was an ocean that seemed to stretch out forever. There was a ship, half-sunken next to the dock, as well as a small podium-type boxwith a small lever atop it. Behind him was a very small island, with only a few small buildings, some trees, a very large hill/very small mountain, and a metallic section next to the dock. Zero got up, and looked around in rememberance and familiarity. "This place... Again?" Zero thought, recalling his first visit to the island. He had seeked refuge here during an event prior to the current time, and had hoped to never return. Some of his relatives called this island a symbol of hope. To Zero, it was nothing more than a prison, far out of the reaches of anyone else. Zero's mark flashed briefly. He immediately stared at the back of his hand once more. "Strange... Somethings' close. But this island was deserted... Unless..." Zero closed his eyes, and felt the mark flash again. He could feel another presence, but it wasn't on the island. He tried to pierce through the darkness of his mind, hoping it would free him from his 'prison'.

"Alright, my turn then King, I draw." Kyza drew his card, smirking as he gazed to his starting hand. Not bad, but could've been better. He knew the duel was just for fun, but he wasn't sure of the Tao King's capabilities, taking it calmly for now, "I play Foolish Burial! And I'll send my Infernity Avenger to the graveyard." He took the card of the Level 1 Tuner, the grinning skeletal marionette weilding the two blasters always made him smile inside seeng it's similarities to himself, and discarding the monster to the graveyard where it belonged, then his attention was drawn back to two more cards in his hand, "I'll place two cards face down..." the back of the two cards appeared on the ground before him, but they took on an eerie, smokey black tint to them, the result of the duel disk Kyza used, instead of forming holograms it drew on his own darkness within to form the images from his deck. It had been a way of coaxing the darkness within out of Kyza in a controlled way, part of his training.
"I'll then activate my field spell, 'Catacombs of the Infernity Witch,'" he declared, placing the card on the duel disk before him. Around them, the area became a large, rocky cave, but behind Kyza was a decorative stone coffin upon a raised, rusted metal plinthe, with the exit of the cave behind the Tao King, and the cave illuminated dimly by three torches, two either side of the coffin and one at the entrance, the flames shimmering a strange blue, "I'll then set one card face down in defence mode." He calmly placed the card upon his duel disk, another face down card hologram forming, this time tilted sideways
