Vicky facepalmed. "You have a point, dear. However, I only use that form for convenience, because it requires much less power to alter my shape than it does to open a portal into subspace. Itsu and Desna utilize Zero Point Energy to get what they need, but I use my own power source, me. However, thanks to you, my batteries are recharged, both figuratively and literally."
She concentrated, and a magical circle of purple fire appeared in front of her. She did some motions with her hand, which drew a hexagram of purple fire inside of the circle, and then pressed down on the ground, causing the inside of the circle to glow brightly with purple light. A few seconds later, a beautiful black Duel Runner was standing inside of the circle, which had receded into flame marks.
The Duel Runner was sleek, with no angles or flat surfaces, but an unearthly, yet somewhat sexy, curvature to it. Purple lines faintly glowed in between the black carapace of the machine, as if it was alive, which was further confirmed by the fact that there were two spherical orbs in front of the dashboard, which seemed to look like a face. The curving arches connecting the front wheel to the rest of the machine could be arms, while its counterparts in the back, along with the spiny exhaust pipes, were legs. Vicky mounted the woman-beast-machine-Duel Runner-thing, sitting where her pelvis would be, or was, and pressed her hands on the spheres, which started to glow purple. The engine revved, though it faintly sounded like a moan of pleasure mixed in...
"What?" Vicky asked Kyza and the Tao King as she sat on the peculiar fusion of man, magic, and machine.

"....May I ask what, or who that is?" He questions with a raised brow as he studies the duel runner beneath Vicky's lithe form. He was used to duel runners, he had grown quite attached to a certain model in an earlier quest, sadly having to leave it behind due to them moving to another dimension, and for reasons even he couldn't truely accept had happened (though they had), it was not capable for that to leave the world, but this one.... It wasn't what he was used to, that was a given

"And I only was pointing out your own rational on our taking things more subtly on this mission, nothing more" He peers over his shades, the hood still casting his face into shadows as he winks, one bronze circle blinking out with the action before stepping closer towards the organic-looking duel runner, "Though I'm glad your batteries are recharged, so to speak. Glad I can be of SOME assistance to my Witch" Always his affectionate nickname for her, a slight bow added to the finale of his sentance to add to his gratitude he had helped her, "Call it intuition, but I fear we will need to both be at our full strengths for this duty..."

". . . I think I prefer to call them D-WHEELS, thank you very much." The Tao King said. "I have no appreciation for those words which are used for kids." He then thrust his hand forward, and a ball of nothing appeared. This ball of nothing was not black or white, because that would have been something. It was not 'nothing' in the sense of nothing, as it was not transparent, so it couldn't be seen through. But it had no color. It was like clear water, but without the ripples. If anyone bothered to examine the ball of nothing carefully, they would go insane. The ball of nothing then had itself filled with colors, and soon it was in the shape of the Tao King's D-Wheel. "By the way, that 'Duel Runner' of yours somehow reminds me of a very creepy censored movie."

Vicky smiled as she straddled the Duel Runner. The former woman's glowing purple eyes looked at Vicky longingly. "Like Itsu, I try to recruit allies on the worlds I visit. Back when I was younger and more reckless, I teamed up with a wonderful kunoichi, Izumi Kawazaki, in a version of feudal-era Japan that had Duel Monsters. However, she was critically injured while protecting me from an ambush, and was dying. I could have brought her back to life, but only as a Dark Signer, and I didn't want her to suffer like I have. However, when I asked her why she protected me from an attack I would have regenerated from, she confessed that she loved me, and 'didn't want to see my dark beauty to be marred'. Touched by those words. I turned my Kawazaki Ninja into a motorcycle, the irony escaping me at the time, allowing her to serve me in battle and reach speeds she would never dream of before." Vicky affectionately stroked Izumi's metallic face, and her engine purred happily. She then looked back at Kyza. "Kyza, you are far from my first love, but those I open my heart for tend to have a nasty habit of dying. Fortunately, you have already died on me once before, so you should be safe."

"I'm surprised you're so narrow minded to think a Duel Runner just needs WHEELS" Admittedly, so far Kyza hadn't been too impressed by the Tao King, but he was biting his tongue for now. Whoever he was, Itsu had let him join up with them, that in itself was a sign his strength was needed.

The words sink in slowly as he studies the bike beneath his beloved, his eyes wide in... what could it be called? Not horror, surely, because he didn't see this as horrific. To him, most likely from his own dark views, this was noble, sweet, perhaps even the kindest gift Vicky could have given her.

"I wasn't presumptious enough to think I was your first love..." he says quietly, his cool slender fingers lightly stroking one of the 'arms' thoughtfully, "I mean, look at you. I'm in awe of your beauty every time I see you, every time we wake up together. It stands to reason, in all of the worlds you have visited, love has found you elsewhere before me...." he looks to Vicky now with a more tender smile, "to be honest, I'm glad... it means you had some happiness before I came along. And while I cannot share that joy, because it was just with you that I found love, I'm happy for you."

Kyza looks thoughtfully to Izumi's face, seeing Vicky's hand stroking her making him smile, "Besides... one who, like myself, died for your love? Died to save your dark inner beauty? I cannot be envious of that. Though are you sure she won't mind if your fiancee joins you upon her?"

Vicky smirked, but this had a slightly malicious edge to it. "I'm glad you asked." She snapped her fingers, and two similar creatures became visible on either side of Izumi. Both were male, but instead of being lithe and beautiful like Izumi, one of them, a muscular man was curled up in what appeared to be the fetal position, but with a wheel where his arms and legs met, while the other, a fat, bloated man, was spread out, his arms and legs fused into the mass of his stomach, which was now a sidecar. The curled-up man's back had upholstery like Izumi's lower torso, while a seat inside of the fat man, which looked like it was made from his legs and arms, had upholstery and a seat belt.
"These are the fiends that caused my Izumi's death, Isshin Yamada, the ninja that led the ambush, and his master, Hiromaru Honda, the greedy, gluttonous daimyo I was trying to defeat. I blessed Izumi with the gift of being my eternal companion, but I cursed these two with having to carry my allies with me, making them always be reminded of their sins by being pulled by my Izumi."

"Oh great..." He gives a sinister grin, kicking the tires of the sidecar as one would do with a usual vehicle, but taking a bit more pleasure in this, "I get dragged around in the remnants of a fat fool and his pet..." His pointed cowboy boots digging deep into the flesh with every kick.

"though i must say...." He gently walks up to Izumi's side, looking towards the face of the duel runner/woman underneath his fiancee, "Izumi... I'm glad to meet you. I hope, for the sake of the dark Witch who owns both of our hearts, the mechanical Ninja and the Undying Gunslinger can work together in the future." He's careful, not too intrusive, but lightly presses his hand to where Izumi's heart would be, estimating it from where her pelvis, arms and legs were, however altered they had become

Izumi looked at Kyza and smiled at him, but Vicky was a bit sad. "I am sorry to say this, but vocalization is no longer in her capacity. I was...not as experienced in the art of transformation... and I couldn't save her beautiful voice. One of the great things about her was her ability to sing. She could accurately mimic birdsong and use it to signal her allies. But that was lost to my own inexperience."
However, as Vicky was lamenting her early failures, Izumi's face concentrated, as if she was trying very hard to remember something, and she slowly mouthed out the words "Thank you for taking care of my Mistress. I hope she will let you ride me someday." to Kyza. She then quickly glanced over at Vicky for a second, who wasn't paying attention to the two, looked back at Kyza, grinned and winked, then mouthed to him "Our little secret. Don't tell her I can do this. I want to myself, when we have some time."

Kyza can but smile, giving Izumi a light wink, "Oh don't worry... I'm sure she's just thankful for this chance to be with you always like this" looking to Vicky, he carefuly strokes the top of his fiancee's head, trying to offer her comfort within her moment of reflection, "I know I am."

He glances to the sidecars with a slight look of discuss, however, his brow furrowing as he frowns, "Though do I really have to travel in such disgusting things? To know what they were..." another booted kick to one of their sides, his smirk returning slightly, "though if i really have to, I suppose i must.."

Vicky got an idea. "Forget it. Kyza, you can take Izumi. I will just use my other Duel Runner equivalent." She hopped off of Izumi, walked a few feet away, snapping her fingers as she did so, which caused the "sidecars" to disappear, and created a new magical circle of purple flames. The lower half of her coat started to stretch and twist around her legs, turning her boots into strong hoofed legs, while it expanded backwards into a sleek body with a second set of hind legs. A flowing tail that looked like it was made from Vicky's hair completed the touch. Vicky was now a Dark Signer-esque centaur. "Tao King, you still have your Duel Runner, right?" She asked the masked figure standing nearby.

His brow is raised and he laughs quiet loudly, eventually calming, "After all you say about remaining stealthy and covert, not scaring the locals, you shift into my second favourite form reguardless" He shakes his head gently, amused by her descision. Such a funny, fickle nature she had, but it was part of her he loved greatly, standing beside her as he gently leans in to her, "I'll take care of Izumi... just take care. Make sure you keep the lead, but before we get too close to civilisation, we'll swap back so you are riding Izumi. THEN I'll go in the sidecars. Sound fair?" But before he waits for an answer, he gently reaches up, drawing Vicky's head down slightly to his as he claims her lips in a deep but tender kiss. Whatever the form, whatever magics she used, he loved her.

"Of course I do." The Tao King said. "And in case you haven't noticed, my D-Wheel has been here a while already." He then turned to the one called Kyza, since he knew Kyza had no clue who he was. Trixie from back there and Vicky probably knew a few things, but Kyza knew nothing, of course. "There are two sides to this multiverse. In the other side to it, the greater side, Jaden is called Judai, the three emperors are called Jose, Lucciano, and Placido, and Joey called Jonouchi. And these things you call 'Duel Runners' are called D-Wheels. Now then, when are we going?"

Vicky was about to reply to the Tao King when Kyza pulled her human torso down and kissed her. She knelt her new lower body down do she was at the same height he was, and continued to lock lips with him, wrapping her arms around him. The make-out session was rather surprising to the Neighborhood Watch agents nearby, who knew of their resident arcane mistress of black magicks as a tough-as-nails, no-nonsense, emotionless commander who always got the job done.
Once the two lovebirds parted, she got back up and pointed to the city off in the distance. "That's our destination. And forget the sidecars. They aren't worthy of our honored guest and my fiancee." As she said this, another flaming magical circle erupted around the sidecars, and they disappeared. "Now, then. I think we have spent enough time lolly gagging! Let's go!" She galloped off, a platoon of agents on Duel Runners following behind.

Even in that form, Kyza still watches after his bride to be, taking time to admire her as she hurries on before giving a soft chuckle, "No matter what, she's amazing. But then again..." he turns and hurries towards Izumi, taking the time to gently sit down gently upon her seat and carefully resting his hands where Vicky had placed hers, assuming these were the methods of control. Oddly, it doesnt seem too differant from what he expected. Or perhaps he expected the controls to be this way. Moving his hand softly makes the noise of the engine increase, the purring noise growing louder. He gives it more power, hearing the noise growing louder, louder still, cranking the engine up slowly and firmly before, at the pitch of the revs, he drops Izumi into gear, pulling away sharply as he often did. To some, he seemed like a fierce driver, but he was pretty fearless, determined, cornered firmly and poured on power where needed
"Geez..... Vicky crafted a beauty here...." glancing down to Izumi;s face with a smile

<You can certainly say that again.> A sweet, soft feminine voice that spoke in a slightly archaic manner rang out in Kyza's head. Before he could turn take away his hands from the motorcycle's control orbs, the voice explained. <Don't worry. It is I, Izumi of the Kawazaki Clan. What you are touching allows for me to communicate with my driver. You have already discovered that whatever commands you think while pressing on my orbs, I obey. However, the bond we are currently sharing also allows for me to "speak" to whoever is directing me. Vii-chan knows of this form, but not that I can actually move my lips. I only recently relearned how to do so. Hopefully, I will be able to synchronize my lip movements with my "speech" so I may "talk" once more. Now, the two of us have a short period of time to talk. I bet you are wondering the extent of my relationship with Viichan."

"To be honest, yes... I love Vicky so very much, and yes, I do know quite a bit of her vast history from her long time of existance.... but there are always little moments and periods in time that resurface she never mentioned or told me about. I love Vicky with all my being, and it would be foolish to think that out of all of the worlds we have visited, or before I came to be part of her life, that there would not be another who fell in love with her. Or vice versa, her to fall in love with another... I...." He lets his attention waver for a moment, not enough to endanger them, but enough for a brief flash of a memory of Aki to form in his mind, "I've only had one before her that I loved, and that could never be.... But I do truely love Vicky. At first, perhaps she was grateful to meet one with the same damned existance as herself, but it is what it is..."
He looks to Izumi thoughtfully, "I'm sorry... this must be painful for you, to meet the fiancee of the woman you love..... Please, enough of my rabblings, tell me about yourself Izumi..."

<I was once a kunoichi for Hiromaru Honda.> Izumi started. <He was a despicable creature, and he even had a renegade ninja, Isshin Yamada, who kept my clan and two others in line. He planned on using us to find powerful Duel Monsters in order to take over Edo and the rest of Nihon. However, shortly before he carried out his plan, a strange woman with peculiar black clothing approached him. She gave him many bars of gold, an amount so large that it brought Honda to tears. In return, she asked for a ninja to assist her in something. He gave me over to the woman, who had never revealed her eyes, and I accepted. Shortly after we had left his palace and were inside of the forest, she finally took off her hood to reveal her darkened eyes. I tried to scream, but I found I could not move or make a sound. She explained that she wasn't an oni or a yokai, but a powerful user of magic who needed the expertise of someone local to find a rare Duel Monster. She said there would be gold involved if I helped her, as well as treasure beyond my wildest dreams. I accepted, grudgingly.>

"That sounds like my...our love..." Kyza nods as Izumi speaks to him, "Vicky has seen much of the negative traits of humans and mankind in general. The times she has been stalked as prey merely for being of use to the powers of darkness... I have had to defend her in the past myself..." he frowns a little in recollection, "It is no wonder she would resort to merely using gold as a methods of coaxing others to listen to her demands and requests... I'm sorry... please continue, Izumi"

Izumi did so. <I was initially disgusted at this woman, who tricked people by creating gold in the palm of her hand, but one night, I gathered the courage to ask her where she was from. She said she was from a city far into another future where Duel Monsters were sealed within paper talismans. I initially scoffed her, until she gave a demonstration, after which I was impressed. She used Duel Monsters I had never seen before, and commanded them well. I then asked why she was here, and she said she was looking for a way home. She then explained everything that had happened to her, and, even though she used words I had never heard before and concepts that were alien to me, I felt her pain, and I felt a bit of kinship with her. As we searched all across Nihon, I grew to like her, and she reciprocated. However, it was not meant to last...>

"By 'not meant to last' I take it you mean you were killed?" He asks quietly. He well knew that those around Vicky were drawn to their Deaths far sooner then most. He opens his shirt slightly, gazing under the material at the myriad of markings there, deep gouges and scars from a time he sooner would forget...

"By our judgement, the heathen is sentanced to Death!" The leader had roared out as the cultists cheered with joy. He had fought back, just in time to see Vicky running into view, see her so close to him.... and feeling that horrible pain seering through his chest as a dozen or so halberds stabbed through his back, before he was tossed through the air like a ragdoll, just a pathetic, weak monster to them, that moment of Death swimming his vision as he saw such a look of genuine horror upon Vicky's face, thinking it the last image he would see...

"....Go on... sorry, caught up in my own nostalgia..." he whispers, trying to push the memories away the best he could, unsure of what Izumi could see, if anything

Izumi's head appeared to nod, if only slightly. <Ironically, it was Vicky's tricks that led to my undoing. Honda decided that Viichan would be the prefect servant to have, giving him all of the gold he wanted, so he sent Isshin after us. It was a truly epic battle, until Isshin distracted Viichan with a decoy. I quickly jumped in and saved her, but...> Her story trailed off afterwards.

Vicky looked up to see the figure heading for the site, and groaned, quickly sending a message to Trixie.

Itsu was surprised to suddenly hear radio chatter. "Desna, what's going on?"
"Our techies were hearing some really funny stuff coming from the city, until we started punching in decryption codes out of every book we could find. It wasn't until we got into the Tri-Vur codes did we finally translate it. "Do they know we're listening, and can they hear us?"
"Not a peep. Our tech trees seem to be rather different. We think they might have reverse-engineered local tech, like most of the 'advanced' civilizations on this ring. However, we have the best hackers in our multiverse. We have a few weeks, worst-case scenario."

Kyza listens to Itsu, acknowledging the rest of her story with a slow sigh, "Yeah.... you got killed, and you became this beauty before me..I just hope it doesn't upset you too badly to see me with her..." he grants her a faint smile, even having the courtesy to lower his head and place a small kiss upon one of her cheeks. Not like Vicky, just a friendly kiss upon the cheek to grant her kindness. He remembered how just the softest of kisses from Vicky had helped him through his recovery, had given him the anchor to grip to and fight back through Death...

"c'mon... our love seems to have noticed something." Revving Izumi's engine he draws up alongside Vicky, studying her form as she races along. His mind drifts, only slightly, thinking of the future for once, being with her, riding by her side for all eternity....

"Ok Vicky, what you got? Anything I should be on guard for?"

Izumi's engine roared in happiness and she started going much faster.

Vicky had stopped a couple of miles outside of the city. She saw her fiancee come to a stop next to her. "I just got word from Itsu. The locals in the city ahead of us are not very happy. We might be expecting anything from a welcoming party to a fly-over to tactical surface-to-surface rockets. So far, we haven't displayed any signs of aggression, so any attacks on us would be heavily uncalled for. Just...be careful..."

"Perhaps you should shift form, my love... riding up on a Duel Runner is one thing, but a cenataur may be too much. Also, if you ride, I can bodyguard you easier then if we are seperated. No offence Izumi" he looks back to the woman's face, knowing she cant answer back yet as Vicky wasn't aware of her ability to communicate, "the ride was wonderful, I'm just trying to think of what would be best to protect Vicky." Typical Kyza, not worrying about himself, all his efforts focused on shielding Vicky. Plus, it made the most sense, to protect her as she was the strongest out of Izumi, Vicky and Kyza

"And if you insist on remaining in that form, then let me ride with you." He isn't joking, or with another motive just to be near her, he genuinely is concerned for her. Ever since his near-Death, and her saving him, he had felt protective of her, the gunman shielding the Witch, "Vicky... please think about this..." the Nazca lines carved into his body shimmering under his clothing, his eyes shimmering darkly. Because of her, he had some control of the darkness within him, and he still owed her for that, not to mention the obvious; he loves her, pure and simple.
