Spell Master
While eating his food, Nero sat there listening to Ryugas life story. That must of been rough for a kid. Nero thought. Not being loved by your family after losing some before that? There is no way I could of handled that. After Ryuga finished, Nero sat up and said, "Don't you worry! I'll do my very best to get you back home! I don't really know how long it will take but I will sure you enough that I will make it a reality." Once that was said the clock in the room started to ring midnight. Nero turned around and offered, "If you've got no place else to stay, you can crash in my room for the time being. It just down the hall 30 ft from here second door on the left. Oh, don't mind the mess, just move things aside to make you're living requirements more to your taste. I'm going to work on seeing whats up with that SOS signal you've revived and I didn't. If you say you traced it here, then maybe I can reconfigure the signal to give me the exact details on were it came from."

Premier Alexander Romanov
Itsu thought for a moment. "Well, we do know that Pandora had put up all sorts of illusions to make sure we were complacent. we weren't on Earth, that's for sure. Of course, the real question is: What built Kugena City in the first place?" Desna brought up several pictures of the ruined city, only the architecture was far different from that of Earth. "Hmm...that b***h...she even managed to camouflage the buildings!" Desna even pulled up a satellite scan showing a line of buildings, then, several dozen thousand miles away, a gash in the earth running for a few thousand more miles. "That confirms it. That was one of my railgun blasts." Vicky smiled sweetly. "Which pair of rings do we use?"
Merci
"What built Kugena City in the first place?" The Tao King muttered to himself. "Well, who knows? Kugena City is Kugena City, and maybe there was no such thing as Kugena City, only a huge illusion. I do not plan on standing here forever contemplating the fact that it is Kugena City. It is there, and I may as well have a look." He then turned and went towards Docking Bay Charlie-Eight, where Vicky, Kyza, Wayne, Trixie, and a landing party were already presumably there. On the way, the Dusk had come back to him and told him everything, including the wedding, which the Tao King simply nodded to. "So then," He said. "Since it was Solace who told me to take you four, Vicky, Kyza, Wayne, and Trixie, and the rest of you, I shall assume that it is I who is supposed to lead this party. Of course, I also happen to be the strongest of all of you, and yet also the least loyal, since I'm acting only under a truce with Solace. Now a few words to some of the people here, Now a few words. Vicky and Kyza, I am not responsible if one of you happens to die or do a last-minute divorce (And yes, for the rest of you, they happen to be, or soon will be, married). And Trixie, I for some reason thought you were dead. As for the rest of you, I don't know you, but you'd have to be pretty good to be here in the first place. In case none of you know what we're doing, we're going down to the surface. And I'll say this only once: We just so happen to be landing in Kugena City, for those of you who were there, of course. Thank you." He then walked away and materialized his D-Wheel thing, went on it, and it went down to the surface. The Tao King had no intention of actually being with the others. Premier Alexander Romanov
After Kyza answered Vicky, they made it to the Docking Bay, where they met Trixie and Wayne, then heard the Tao King's speech. After he had driven away, apparently not understanding that they were not only 50 million kilometers above the Ringworld's surface, but there was a reason they had assembled in a Docking Bay in the first place. "I have no idea what that was about, but I got word from Itsu a little while ago that I was to lead this little excursion. Now, we're going to take the Heimdall, the transport behind us, along with a company of our finest agents." She indicated to the football field-length ship parked nearby, which was being loaded up by men and women is form-fitting, semi-armored black bodysuits. "Kyza, you're my wing man. Trixie, you get to lead an escort party to help out Professor Jonas run some surveys." She sighed and called out. "Dusk! Get your master back here, or we're leaving without him!"
Merci
The Dusk reappeared. Well, uh, he's already in there. Excuse him, because he's a bit insane. And disappeared again. The Tao King had already realized this and was now standing inside the Heimdall. Of course, nobody knew that, yet. Whether it was some childish thought or something else which made him do it, he did, and as a joke. A childish joke at that. He was still wondering why he did that joke, though. Silly joke. Well, he was in the Heimdall now, and that was that. It was a silly joke, though, to play. No one would be amused after all. But he was only allied with Solace because he wanted to see her when she expired at last. Of course, she would probably be paying attention to his presence now, so he would have to depend on luck to be there when she actually expires. Kyza Kiryu
Kyza's answer had been a fairly simple one, the suggestion of using his rings as engagement rings for now, at least on this mission, and Vicky's rings as their main wedding rings, as his parents had done, one set of engagement rings and a set of wedding rings. That way, if his rings did indeed deteriorate, Vicky's would still be there, still the symbol of their marriage together. Rising back to his feet, he glances towards the Tao King quietly, still keeping his hood down now. He only wore it when the light was too bright for his eyes, now Vicky had put it down he decides to keep it as such. He felt slightly irritated that their engagement had been blurted out to everone before they had a chance, less for his sake and more for Vicky. Call him old fashioned, but he believed that the joy of telling her friends and family she was engaged belonged to the bride-to-be. The thought of his fiancee reminds him, and he quietly passes her several cartridges for his pistol. "Before we head down, Vicky, I'll need you to enchant my ammo. I still haven't managed to perfect it myself yet." He says calmly. The ammo was, for now, simple cartridge ammo, longbarrel solid rounds for his duelpistol. He had learned to enchant them to some degree, calling upon the darkness itself to amplify the power of the rounds as he needed, but it was still one shot, one round. Vicky's enchantments actually crafted fresh rounds within the cartridge, making one round last numerous times, perfect for the times he would not be able to reload in a fight. One day he'd perfect it. With her teachings, he'd learn. "Lead the way Vicky, and I'll follow" He nods to her command of being her wing-man, stepping by her side as a bodyguard to his employer, ready to follow as and where he was needed. Premier Alexander Romanov
Vicky nodded to her fiancee. "Of course I will enchant them. I can do it on the ride down to the surface." She pecks him on the cheek before heading to the Heimdall. "Alright, people! Let's move it!" She headed into the ship, Kyza hopefully following her, and took a seat. The Tao King had a guest as an armored man of African descent with a bald head and a futuristic rucksack on his back sat down next to him. "You must be that Dow King I've heard so much about! I didn't realize investing so much in the stock markets of different timelines could get you so far!"
Merci
"Wha. . .?" The Tao King began, but decided to stop. His identity was well-known, but there was more than one Tao King out there. Unfortunately, people tend to believe they are all the same people. There was his great-grandfather from his mother's side, who was the first Tao King and a wizard of England, who is now dead when he found hope in the Tao King's former mother, and Protheus Maximus's wife. There was also now another Tao King running around, but the Tao King didn't really pay attention to that one, although his reputation was growing since he was searching for a way to contact those who are beyond death. Someday, the Tao King would be forced to put him in his place, but he still wondered who that new Tao King was, and how he gained the ability to travel through dimensions
Kyza Kiryu
Kyza does indeed take a seat by Vicky's side, right next to her as he draws the duelpistol from his hip, checking it several times. He knew it would be fine, not only had it been crafted by Vicky but he took care of it, given the times it had saved his life in the past, maybe even Vicky's. As he settles back into his seat, he gently rests his other hand upon her knee, giving her a faint but gentle smile, glad for another chance to be on this trip with her. "If this is another scouting mission, we should've brought the Faceless Ones.... they could help scout the area faster. And a duel runner or two for us...." he looks to Vicky with a light wink, "Unless you have your turbo duel form in mind, my Witch? Or do we just take it easy for now and scout slowly bit by bit on foot?"
Premier Alexander Romanov
Vicky had already started infusing the bullets with shadowy energy. "I'd rather not have the inhabitants of this place become too confused. They will already have to comprehend space travel, among other things, once we land. Besides, our masked friend doesn't know about Itsu's project either." A blue-haired woman with black streaks in a blue and black bodysuit similar to Itsu's walked by and frowned at the man. "Wayne, he's the Tao King, not the Dow King!" She then took a seat on the opposite side of Kyza. The man rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment. "So sorry! The name's Professor Wayne Jonas, though my call sign is 'Chevy', 'cause I'm like a rock!" He gave the Tao King a thumbs-up. Kyza Kiryu
"Alright, I'll play it quiet for now then and follow your lead. But if things start getting dangerous, expect me to say 'to hell with it' and forget caring about not confusing the locals and get on with doing my duty, protecting you. Though if we can go without confusing them, then that IS for the best, given we'll be living here" As he checks the sights of his pistol and recalibrates the loading mechanism for its secondary function of duel disk, Kyza glances up to Chevy and the blue-haired woman with a chuckle, he had to admit 'dow' King sounded a bit more catchy to him but he keeps quiet for now, focusing instead on preparing himself, "I take it it's going to be one group as one covering all the bases? Or is it the usual split of science on one team, supernatural on the other?" glancing between Vicky and the others who were familiar to him. Premier Alexander Romanov
Vicky continued to enchant the bullets. "You weren't paying attention, were you? We're taking some of the soldiers, and our guest, to go contact the settlement, while Trixie and Professor Jonas will go about their own business of figuring out what built this place." Itsu asked Desna. "Do you have pictures of the time-lock?" "Of course." Desna displayed an overhead scan of a purple energy bubble near Kugena City. "Is it still intact?" "That's what our boys are trying to figure out. We don't want HER loose." "However, it would be nice to see Rei again, even though the consequences for doing so are so high." Desna patted Itsu on the shoulder. "It wasn't your fault. She chose that for herself. Besides, she brought back Damian for you!" "Who I might not get to see before I..." Desna kept silent and continued to pat Itsu on the shoulder. Kyza Kiryu
Kyza looked a little sheepish at that point, "Sorry, I... I guess I was a little distracted. Don't worry though, it won't happen again Vicky, I promise." Once he's satisfied that his duelpistol is in perfect condition, he holds a gloved hand to Vicky, ready to load it when she finishes "I still stand by my previous statement of protecting you though. Admittedly, I'm thankful it's in more of a...." he pauses as he thinks of the word, then chuckles, "in more of a 'diplomatic' sense then anything else. Easier to be wing-man and bodyguard in those situations." He does wince slightly, blinking a few times as a tear of blood rolls down his cheek, due to his biology he didn't have normal tear ducts, so often he would weep blood, either from crying, tears of joy he had earlier, or as the case now; his eyes were still stinging from the light. Reaching into his coat, he takes out a large pair of sunglasses, almost like a mirrored visor, which he then settles over his eyes. The relief is felt instantly, giving a soft sigh before wiping the bloodied tears from his cheeks.
TotalObelisk
Ryuga nodded in response. Nero seemed eager to help despite the circumstances of their meeting, Ryuga was grateful to be sure but he still wary of him and this world in general, he knew little about it after all and he still couldn't shake the feeling that he had landed himself in trouble. Albiet not for the first time. "Thankyou, but I'm fine," he said, not feeling the least bit tired. He got up from his chair, walking outside and stopping just short of the road. Without commanding it, his dragon spirit emerged once again, curling its serpentine body behind its master. "You could be a bit more cheerful," the dragon said "He's trying to help you after all." "That's not the problem," Ryuga replied. "The distress signal is still bothering you?" Ryuga nodded. "If you want to get to the bottom of this I suggest the accept his help," the dragon continued "He seems more than willing to give it and you know you cannot solve this on your own." Ryuga turned to glare at his spirit, his eyes narrowed dangerously. "I've survived this long by myself," he said calmly "I don't see how this will be any different." The dragon gazed into his master's eyes for a moment before his gaze broke away. "Besides," Ryuga continued "As soon as my D-Wheel is fixed I can leave, and then whatever is happening here will be of no concern to me." "You're just going to ignore the fact that you where led here? And met another interdimensional traveler?" Ryuga fell silent. "You just don't want to admit you need help," the dragon continued. "I don't," The dragon heaved a sigh and vanished from sight, leaving Ryuga to his own thoughts. Spell Master
Dawn started to come when suddenly a loud beeping sound woke up Nero from his sleep. After working all night trying to find out the location of the SOS signal, he had to sleep in the same room with all of his equipment. While getting up he slams his head on a high stool and knocks over a box of tools that also land on top of his head. HOLY S**T!!! What a wake up call! Nero thinks while rubbing the top of his head. Now... what was I doing??? Gazing at his computer monitor, he noticed it started to act a little weird. Kyza Kiryu
Kyza remains silent, he had his orders to stay by her side and he fully intended to follow those orders, come what may. Gathering the ammo he had from his fiancee, he reloads the duelpistol slowly, taking time to enjoy the action. Often reloading was frantic, hurried, almost desperate in combat, the chance to take time in the gesture was satisfying, almost soothing, like Vicky's touch on his back at night or a warm shower after a long campaign. Once his weapon was loaded, he withdraws his deck box from his coat, removing the cards of his deck contained within the protectors given to him, once again by Vicky, to keep his cards sheltered. The deck itself was old in the scape of time itself, the years it had seen in many differant worlds and even betweens, but it had bonded to the Darkness within Kyza's body, as Vicky had her own dark abilities and dear Itsu her nanomachines and such, and that Inner Darkness kept his deck safe, with him always. How it had changed, originally a testement to his father, it was his now. Master of the Eternal Handless, had evolved to show more of himself, how he had grown stronger, out of his father's shadows and formed his own. "No questions from me, lover" He answers calmly after a thought, passing a card that always made him think of Vicky, then Escape from the Dark Dimension, Limit Impulse, Infernity Avenger... Darkness, Ghosts and Undead Gunslingers. His chuckle was almost dark at that, more like a growl in his throat.

Once half way down, Nero turns on his flashlight and looks around. Looks clear so far. He thinks to himself.
