Kyza seemed thoughtful, wincing a little as he tried to shake off the irritating pang of pain shooting through his chest. He inwardly cursed his still weakened heart, musing how he would have it always, even after all he and Vicky had been through. Perhaps it was the pain, but he was having trouble remembering.
"Sorry my love... I'm struggling to remember much about your Dark Signer minions.... you know how the darkness gets.." as if listening to him, the lines carved into his body glowed their vivid blue, a sure sign Ccapac Apu was still lingering within his soul, waiting, as both Kyza and Vicky always knew. Despite his hate for the Giant within, he would never sacrifice it. It had brought him to his fiance, kept him alive when he should have died, made him the man he was.
"and as for Itsu being your Maid of Honour..... you really think she's going to be able to hold it together long enough for us to have the wedding?"

Nox took a step back. He turned back and looked at the woman in white. "Ch- Cha- Chardonnay!" He called. "D- d- do something!"
But whatever the woman replied, Omoikane didn't hear it. "Now, Chaos Sorcerer, attack directly!" He commanded. and the sorcerer sent a ball of chaotic energy which hit Nox and sent him flying back to the edge of his side of the rock platform. Nox groaned for a moment, and then suddenly he began to act weirdly. He suddenly jumped up, and began moving erratically, as if struggling to maintain control of the body.
"Get out of my bo-
NO! THIS IS MY BOD-
GET OU-
IT IS MI-"
A huge darkness erupted out of the body of Protheus, and there it was, a cloud of black smoke which was Nox. It quickly retreated into some special thing which the woman in white had, so as to preserve its form. The body of Protheus then paused for some reason, not moving at all, before he spoke.
"In the end, clouds cannot block the blackest of twilight!" Protheus declared. "Watch as a sword stabs through the cores of the multiverse!"

Rei's pupils suddenly dilated as a certain card in Zero's deck shot out and sent a beam of light to a different location, across the Ringworld.

Vicky was about to answer, when she saw the beam of light shoot over them and point at a location several dozen thousand miles away from their current location.

An alarm went off in the central room of the Awful Lot of Running, which Jenny checked.
"Alright, ladies. We have a lock-on to Rei's position. Hold on tight!"
The ship suddenly shook as the viewscreen shifted from their current location above the Ringworld to a swirling vortex, then back to the Ringworld.
Outside of the tower, the giant timeship appeared from the vortex and hovered nearby.

A figure emerged from some shadows to reveal a woman clad in bronze-colored armor with long flowing silver hair. A bronze mask with glowing blue eyeslits and a blue light that acted as a third eye on the forehead rested on her face. Her armor also had bumps on it.
"That energy...it can only be the one who imprisoned me, and the one who made me like this..."
A loud voice called from the shadows. "WE SHALL AID YOU IN YOUR VENGEANCE!
"I can take her on my own. Plus, it will help with the greater scheme of things."
"AS YOU WISH."
Pandora flew off to go exact her revenge.

Char placed the gaseous entity that is Nox in a strange box, then attended to Protheus. "Welcome back, Judgment." She held up a tarot card depicting Protheus as a mix between the Grim Reaper and a fallen angel crushing the world between his hands, and she had several more. "I am Char, The High Priestess. She showed him a tarot card of her in ancient Egyptian attire worshiping a shadowy figure. "Your opposite, The Fool..." Now she held up a tarot card showing Itsu as some sort of jester. "...and her companions, The Empress..." A tarot card of Trixie in a luscious kimono holding a helmet that looked to belong to a knight. "...The Emperor..." Another tarot card of Desna as an armored, knight-like king, albeit missing his helmet, leading shadowy figures into battle. "...The Lovers..." Vicky and Kyza were on the same card, spiraling around a center like yin and yang. "...The Hermit..." On this card, Rei was in rags on a mountaintop in front of a cave. "...and The Wheel of Fortune..." Jenny, on this card, was in a suit with a bow tie and a Stetson hat in front of a giant clock. "...have assembled here, along with your mutual foe, The Death." A tarot card depicted an armored woman on a mountain of dead bodies with a world in flames behind her. "The Devil and The Hanged Man just dueled, and it resulted in your freedom. The Sun, The Moon, and The Star are moving fast. Justice has met The Lovers, while Strength and Temperance are with The Hermit, and The Magician and The Chariot travel with The Wheel of Fortune, who will join The Hermit and her party. The Tower and The Hierophant have yet to arrive."
She looked at Protheus seriously. "Now, you must make a choice. you can either destroy The Fool and her allies once they unite against Death, only to be slain yourself, yet have your wish of the multiverse destroyed finally fulfilled, or you can create The World once more." She held up a final tarot card that was blank. "The choice is yours, but it is not the time to choose."

Zero looked up at the ship. He turned to Zwei. "Zwei! We've got visitors!" Zero called. Zwei nodded. "How do you think they found us?" Zwei asked. "Dunno." Zero replied, his dragon appearing. "Keep an eye on Rei for me. I'm going up to our guests, to see who they are and what they want." Zero said, climbing onto his dragon's back. The dragon kicked off, and began to fly towards the timeship. The wing of his Blue-Eyes-shaped Duel Disk extended into a keyboard, and Zero typed in a code. "That should at least tell them I just want to talk... For now." Zero said, as his Duel Disk began to emit a peace signal. "But... Just what was that light?" he thought, looking down at his duel disk as the wing retracted again.

"K, a distortion has just occurred within the Lunar Realm."
"..."
"K, are you alright?"
"...Yes. I'm fine. Tell me, where is the distortion, exactly?"
"It appears to be located just above the peak of Sky Tower."
"Then we've found them."
"You think so?"
"I'm sure of it. Sky Tower is only reachable by those who know where it is, and the ones who follow them."
"So... Someone found him already?"
"It appears so. Zero wouldn't cause a distortion, being native to Sky Tower... Dismissed."

But before he could, several rockets appeared out of nowhere and streaked towards him.

Inside, Jenny saw the dragon rise up. "Looks like we've got a bogey! Time to deploy the time torpedoes!"
She runs over to a console on the outside of the main ring, and flips some switches before inputting a code into a timer-like part of the console.
"Time torpedoes are nasty devices. They can travel in time up to 10 minutes in the past or future of when they were launched! I'll just go for 2 in a wide random spread..."
Mizu suddenly received a code on her Duel Disk, but Jenny, who had an older Duel Disk, did not. "No! Don't-"
Jenny pressed the button. In the present, several hatches opened, and flashes of blue light sent the payload of time torpedoes to their randomized temporal coordinates.

More time torpedoes continues to appear from out of nowhere, traveling through space and time to hit their mark. Eventually, at least one of them would hit, since they kept time-traveling within the 4 minutes they were assigned until they detonated 4 minutes later.

Zero felt the distortion occur as the torpedoes were fired. "Damn! What is that thing running on, Windows XP?" Zero cursed to himself, his dragon doing what it could to avoid the projectiles, though Zero found it hard to avoid missiles that were never temporally there in the first place. An explosion occurred inches from him, veering the dragon to the left. "Ngh... I've got no way out of this minefield..." Zero thought, still trying to avoid the missiles he couldn't see.
Something crossed his conscious. "Another distortion?" he thought. "No, this is different from the others... This feeling, this pressure... It's him." Zero thought. "Cres! Breakthrough beyond!" Zero commanded. The dragon roared, and began to fly directly upwards. Directly into another explosion.
When the smoke cleared, however, Zero's dragon was still there. But this time, there was a second dragon. It was the dragon that Zero had seen, and questioned Mizu about, on the island before. Then there was another man. This man looked a few years older that Zero, but looked almost like him. His hair was still fairly long and dark, his eyes were a deep blue, and he wore a glove on his left hand. Zero smiled at the sight of the man.
The man looked down upon Zero, his dragon covering Zero's. "Need some help?" The man asked. Zero's dragon released itself from the other dragon's grip, flying next to it. "Took you long enough. I was beginning to think you'd never show up." Zero said. The two laughed. "Well, you weren't easy to find." The man said. He turned towards the timeship. "Friend or foe?" he asked. "Don't know yet. They should have my message by now... Let's go introduce ourselves, shall we?" Zero said. The man nodded, and the two of them flew up towards the ship.

Jenny tried frantically to cancel the time torpedoes, but to no avail.
Mizu frowns at Jenny. "You idiot! They are friendlies! In fact, they might be the very people we're looking for!"
Jenny went to the main console. "I know that! I'm just not used to a f**king dragon popping out of nowhere!" She pushed some buttons and threw some levers. "But it's impossible to stop the time torpedoes, unless..." She shifted the viewscreen from viewing what was happening just as the torpedoes finally made their mark, blowing up the two and their dragons. She then started typing out a message. "Alright! This'll do it!" She sent the email to herself...35 minutes before...

35 MINUTES AGO (RELATIVE TO THE "LOT"):

Jenny got a notification from herself, telling her to not fire at any dragons at all, even if they surprised her. She then noticed a person riding a dragon, and took them in.

4 MINUTES AGO (RELATIVE TO THE "LOT") (ALTERED TIMELINE):

Jenny saw the dragon, and was about to fire on the boy, until she remembered her self-email through time, and didn't fire. Mizu received the identification code, and Jenny opened the hangar bay doors for the dragon ride to enter. As she did so, the original timeline collapsed and merged with the new, altered timeline, something that would neither be the first nor the last occurrence in the events of this roleplaying game.

NOW (ALTERED TIMELINE):

Rei exited the tower to see the timeship preparing to land, and waved at it just as another dragon rider appeared.

Zero hopped off his dragon. His mark flashed as he did. "...Damnit..." Zero thought. He looked up, and around at the ship he had landed in. "This is new." He said. "Now then... Who should I be addressing?" He asked aloud, waiting for an answer.

-Elsewhere-

Zwei sighed. "Another Timeslip? Man, these guys are just crazy with this stuff. Technology, these days... No respect for people like me, the founders of the entire damn system." Zwei thought.

-Elsewhere-

"K, a distortion has just occurred in the Lunar Realm."

"Yes, sir."
"..."
"...Another Timeslip... Don't worry, Zero. I'll find you soon enough."

-Now-

The man appeared again, still on the beautiful crystal dragon. He landed down at the base of the tower, next to Rei. He hopped off. "If I may ask, what would your name happen to be?" he asked Rei.

The Awful Lot of Running extended its landing gear, at which point Jenny and presumably Isamy went to the front, where the lower lip of the hangar bay doors started to lower, showing that it could be used as an elevator.
Rei blushed at the new arrival. "Umm...Rei. Rei Tousen. And you?"
Mizu stayed inside of the hangar bay with Zero, went up to him, and hugged him softly. "I told you I would come." She whispered. "I just managed to get here faster than I thought."

Zero hugged Mizu back for a few seconds before releasing his own grip. "Your friend seems to be a little trigger-happy. Is that normal around here?" Zero asked, referring to the collapsed timeline. He had felt it collapse, though he hadn't been directly affected by the merge. He still remembered the events, though they had no longer happened. "I've a question for you, though, Mizu. How exactly did you find us?"

-Elsewhere-

Kutafis smiled. "Well, Rei, it's nice to meet you. I'm Kutafis Katashi, Zero's older brother." Kutafis introduced himself. "This..." he began, turning to the crystal-covered dragon. "...Is the Crystalline Dragon." he finished, introducing his dragon to Rei as well.
At that moment, Zwei stepped out of the tower. He looked over at Kutafis only for a moment, before tossing him a small object. Kutafis caught it, and looked down at it for a moment. He looked at Zwei once more. "...If he's sure of this, I won't question it." Kutafis said calmly, putting the object in his pocket. Zwei nodded. "He's positive."

Mizu shrugged. "Jenny did, not me, but I think it had to do with those beams of light that came from here."

Jenny went up to Rei and glomped the shy moe entity. "I am so happy to see you!" Jenny exclaimed. Rei finally attempted to get up, and Jenny quickly rose, then aided the cyber girl. "Sorry! I guess I was just happy to see you again, especially after-" Jenny suddenly turned serious. "Wait a second! If you're out here, then where's-"
"Right here."
An armored figure who was obviously female appeared out of a swirling blue portal.
"I must thank you, Jenny, for leading me straight here so I can exact my revenge on my would-be warden." She started to walk towards Rei, who was now cowering behind Jenny and Kutafis.

"I noticed those too... But they seemed to come from this." Zero held up a card. "It isn't one of mine, or at least, not yet." he said. He flipped the card over. "It's blank to my eyes, but maybe you can read it. And also..." Zero began, pulling out a book from a small bag strapped to his back. "...I need you to tell me if you can read this." Zero finished. The book was entitled "Solicia".

-Elsewhere-

"Hold on one moment." Kutafis said to Rei. He turned to the woman in armor, stepping in her path. "You must be Pandora, no?" he asked. "You're familiar to me, as to why, I'm not sure, but you're familiar regardless." Kutafis said. "And what exactly is your business with this girl here?" he asked, referring to Rei. "I'm assuming she's your target?"
Zwei kept quiet, trying to pierce through the Lunar Realm, to detect any further events that he might want to be prepared for.

Protheus paused. Who was this woman? Where did she come from? "What do you-" He began, but then paused. He turned to his left to see a masked man run towards him.
"Maximus." He said, and Protheus recognized his voice, and frowned.
"I was hoping I would never see you again." He said, before turning back to the woman. "Choices. There will always be choices, and they will always be choices that are of significance."

"How nice, I'm being ignored, entirely." She muttered from somewhere nearby Jenny, but she revealed her presence when Pandora appeared, which looked like as if she had appeared from nowhere. She joined Kutafis, but her face was blank. "So the true witch appears."

Pandora simply looked at them from the glowing eye-slits of her mask. "Well, one of my targets. I'm also looking for a boy who looks a lot like you. He caused me to encase myself in this suit of armor, since he HORRIBLY BURNED AND SCARRED ME!!!" She unleashed a psychic wave of rage. "I want to break her again, and that will hopefully calm me down enough that I won't kill that boy on sight! I want to relish in his agony and suffering as I make him PAY for what he did to me!!!"

Mizu looked at the book. "Interesting..."

Char nodded. "But this one...'takes the cake'...if you will. Simply put, you can finally see your dream of a destroyed multiverse come true. All you have to do is let the last person in the multiverse who loves you die. You can even kill her yourself to speed up the process."

"Really?" He asked, and grinned. "Then I already know my answer." He turned and thrust both of his arms forward. A magic portal began to materialize in front of them, but then he frowned, because for the first time, he did not know where she was. Usually, he would have a spy or someone, anything that he could use. But he was in the middle of space, inside a universe he didn't know where. He had nothing to go by, and the portal slowly faded away, with no clear destination. He turned back to the woman. "Since you know so much, tell me where she is."

Char looked at Protheus. "Sadly, my foresight and divination abilities have not found The Fool's location, nor the location of any of her allies. Your 'father', the one I worship and the one who blessed me with my gifts, would have told me if you were supposed to know. When the time is right, he will reveal The Fool's location to you, unless you find her first. Speaking of location, we are currently on the Ringworld, a construct in a pocket dimension outside of our multiverse. This artifact is incredibly immense, created from both magic and technology. Most of the sentient inhabitants of this giant world are rather primitive, with the only true civilization about 150,000 miles away from us, though in Ringworld standards, that is relatively close."

"So you're after Zero too, huh?" Kutafis said, his dragon roaring. He lifted his left arm into the air, a fourth Lunar Mark glowing brightly now. "You'd have to kill each and every one of us to do that, and one of us has been missing for nearly a thousand years." Kutafis said, lowering his arm. "Well, you could technically kill Zero alone, but we'd be able to bring him back." Kutafis sighed. "He'd just end up back here, if you killed him. And he's been here so many times that he'd get out faster than he got in."

-Elsewhere-

"It's strange... I can't read it, even though I'm the one that wrote it." Zero remarked. He sighed. "I knew what it meant at one time, but now the runes that I wrote this book in are foreign to me."

"That is sufficient enough. I am not interested in seeing your skeleton face."

"Well, poor you. I assume you were leaving?"

((Sorry for the extreme absence. I was away to visit friends in places with no WI-FI.))

Kana looked into the twilight sky, dazzled by the purple debris that glittered so vibrant. He was not alone as thousands in Aesir stood still to look at the strange site. The city stopped and was tranquil.

Within the Western mountains that glommed outside Aesir, a forested section was blackened with ash and smoke, the ground charred and crumbling. The main comet had survived at the end of the devastation, shining a sinister glow that turned the surrounding area gloomy and dark. It began to creek as it cracked from within. It shattered, shifting half of the earth around it a mile away. The dust cleared, a man crouching at its center.

Cloaked in black cloth and a mixture of technological chainmail, plate armor and Purple circuit markings from top to bottom. He rose to his feet and stretched his arms, releasing a pair of strange light from his back, shaped like abstract wings and Circuitry. Looking up to the sky and raising a palm, He chanted in an arcane and tainted voice that could turn a person insane. The shards began to descend to the surface with force, exploding on impact across the city and it's surrounding boarders.

As they frightened and terrorized the peoples, their detonation released a figure from each one. They where incased in layered plates of dark grey, sliming metal with circuitry wings and a Full face helmet. Weaponry was varied from each of them but included sickles, scythes, halberds, sabers, spears, swords, bladed quarterstaves and mauls. They also where equipped with large duel disks that matched there warped style or armor.

One approached the orange figure in the Traffic of the skyscraper district with a large battleaxe in it's right hand. People where fleeing in all directions as the creatures began to swarm on the streets. The figure dismounted from his D-Wheel and faced the creature. It froze at sight and performed a strange bow to the figure, with it left arm crossing the fronts ofthe torso while the right arm was behind the back, Kneeling at the same time. The Man in orange just ignored this and from behind the orange fabric on his back, a pair of sickles with superheated metal was produced into his hands. With one in each hand, they formed a tight pair of scissors around the neck of the bowing figure. It was no struggle for the Man of orange to lift him from his neck over the edge of the suspended motorway and dangle him like a worm. It struggled to free itself from the grip of the sickles that burned into his skin. Without warning, the man inverted his strength and beheaded the creature, letting the head and the body to fall below.

Mizu giggled. "No! It's interesting that I can't read it! It's all gibberish!"

Pandora generated a Duel Disk from her arm. "Alright, then! Let's duel! If I win, you will tell me where your little brother is!"

Vicky finally replied, rather solemnly. "I hope so. It would mean a lot to me if she did." She rested her head against her fiance's chest, her darkened eyes turning back to normal. Ironically, she was a bit more beautiful when what little was left of her that was human showed itself. Her briefly normalized eyes started to tear up as she stared out on the expanse of the plains surrounding Aesir. "She has saved me countless times from being consumed by darkness, and I returned the favor by helping to bring her back from the same darkness that has almost consumed me during her darkest hour, long ago. She has always been my big sister, and this might be...our last adventure..."

Gently his arms draped around his fiancee's form, holding her closer and trying his best to comfort her as she leaned against him, his body still holding that cool chill to it. "Without Itsu... I'd be destined to walk the world that was my own, watching everything around me age and decay into nothingness as i survive...." his eyes dropped towards Vicky, unable to return his back to normal as she could; the curse of being closer to Death then she was, having felt its icey tendrils claiming him once and hoping it wouldn't do again.
"...instead, I have a life. A lover, who hopefully soon will become my wife...." his fingers ran lightly over her cheek, even briefly caressing her lip and feeling the soft, smooth skin, "...friends, a sort-of family.... I'd at least like her to see our wedding...." he fell quieter, kissing the top of her head and resting his cheek upon her raven-black hair, "..it'd be something... something normal, something none of us have enough of" he chuckled, but it was a short, brief chuckle, still lingering in thoughts of weddings, of Itsu and her condition, of the future, and of Vicky herself

Zero laughed a little. "I guess so, huh? Well, enough about this, then." Zero said, putting the book away. "I'll decipher it with Kutafis later. In the mean time, we should probably stay here. I can feel that strange aura again..." he continued. Zero's body gave a small, involuntary shiver. "Pandora must be extremely corrupt to have such a evil and intimidating spirit. Not to mention she's half insane."

-Elsewhere-

Kutafis' Duel Disk extended. It, too, was made from crystals, though these crystals seemed natural, as if they had been mined from ores just a few days ago. They were cut finely, gleaming in the bright twilight given off by the blood-red moon above them. "You've got no idea what you're getting into." Kutafis said, his deck shuffling. He drew five cards as the life point counter on his disk reached 4000. "Since you challenged me, you can go first."

Just as Pandora was about to draw her card, Jenny stepped forward, followed by Rei herself.
"Alright, you overgrown tin can! You want her, you'll have to go through me!"
"Umm...me too..." Rei hesitantly added.
"You're the one we're trying to defend!"
"Yes...but all this time...you all have been protecting me from her...Now...I want...to fight..."

Vicky chuckled as well, though softly. She was still getting used to expressing all of these human emotions she had bottled up inside of her for centuries. "'Normal'...Seems out of place in our world, doesn't it? We're embodiments of darkness serving a time-traveling cyborg and her motley crew of interdimensional explorers. We're now watching out over a set of plains as big as Europe on a giant ring-shaped world inside of a pocket dimension. 'Normal' has never been a commonly-used word in the vocabulary of anyone I know!" She felt a bit better, and she continued to gaze out over the sun-baked plains.

"Hold up." Isamy said, and she stretched out her arm. "Four against one evens the odds, especially when it's me." A dark greenish energy enveloped it before it then transformed into what looked like a normal black Kaiba Corporation Duel Disk, but closer inspection on it would reveal that it was, in fact, organic. She emitted an aura of darkness, but it only a quarter of what Pandora emitted. "You're facing me as well, insaniac. Prepare thyself for entropy accelerated! Watashi wa Anubis e go an'nai shimasu!!!"

Kutafis smiled. "Then it's settled; We do this together." he said. "But, this place is a bit to small to sufficiently provide five people with a space to duel. Let's go to a more fitting battlefield." Kutafis said, snapping his fingers. They were all suddenly on the top of the tower, and the crystals surrounding them, imbedded in the pillars, were glowing faintly. Kutafis turned to Pandora again. "Well, since the playing field has altered a bit, we'll duel a bit differently; no attacking first turn, you get 16000 Life Points to be fair, and you can still start. The order will be you, then me, then Jenny, then Rei, and finally that girl." Kutafis listed, gesturing towards Isamay at the end. "Does that sound good to you?"
