"I activate my face down Spell card, the quickplay spell you just let me set!" the card rose up, showing a duelist with a Neo domino city duel disk covered by a shadowy, ethereal energy, like a barrier, "Protection beyond the grave! I can activate this card when I have an Infernity monster in play! By taking one Infernity Monster in my graveyard..." he selected Infernity Death Wraith and added it back into his hand, "and by adding it back to my hand, so I'm no longer Handless, I can select one Infernity monster on my side of the field, and the turn I use this effect the chosen Infernity monster cannot be destroyed in battle! I'm stilll going to take the damage however, and my cards loose most of their effects, but it's worth it to keep my Witch alive!"
He sniggered, but as the attack struck his Infernity Witch she remained stoic, the blast merely blowing past her making her close her eyes to shield them. Kyza, however, recoiled back from the strike, yelling in anger but laughing afterwards, the dark aura of his body radiating ethereal smoke. It was nothing major or threatening, just the duel disk's way of showing Kyza's depletion of lifepoints. Still giggling eeriely, he looked up to the Tao King and smiled.
"Keep going King, this is actually kinda fun!"

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

Rei placed her hand on the crystal. [color=#FF69B4]"Now what?"[/color]

Mizu, after exploring around the ship, finally reached a central room. She was amazed at this ship, which was much bigger on the inside than the outside. She circled around a hexagonal console attached to a pulsating shaft.
[color=#FFD700]"Well, glad to have you aboard."[/color] A female voice with a British accent spoke up behind Mizu.
Mizu turned to see a woman with blonde hair tied into a ponytail wearing military fatigues and boots, an olive-green tank top, leather gloves, and welding goggles on top of her head. Her clothing, like her ship, had seen better days.
[color=#FFD700]"Jennifer Smith, captain of the timeship [i]Awful Lot of Running III[/i], but you can call me Jenny, and my first mate is somewhere around here."[/color] Jenny pulled down a viewscreen showing was was in front of the ship, and made some adjustments on the console. [color=#FFD700]"Sammy!!!"[/color] She cried out. [color=#FFD700]"Where the bloody hell are you?!?"[/color]

[color=darkgreen]"How annoying."[/color] Isamy replied, as she came into view of the two. [color=darkgreen]"Here I am, happy?"[/color] She then saw a blue-haired girl, who was Mizu, but she didn't know that. She crossed her arms. [color=darkgreen]"So, Jen, who is this? She has 'Solace' written all over her, but I don't see a connection."[/color]

The Tao King only grinned. "Fine, if that is what you wish." He said, before contradicting himself. "My two set cards and my Key of Destiny are enough to defend me, and win, but the point here is 'amusement', or fun, or just to pass the time. And now I'll just end my turn."

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

[color=#FFD700]"Sammy, new girl. New girl, Isamy Entropia. Good we know each other."[/color] She flipped a few switches, and the ship lurched a bit before the background noise of the machinery died down.
[color=#00FFFF]"Actually, you have no idea who I am."[/color]
[color=#FFD700]"Well, now that we've landed, let's introduce ourselves, shall we? Starting with Blue-Da-Ba-Dee-Da-Ba-Di here."[/color]
[color=#00FFFF]"What?"[/color]
[color=#FFD700]"Nothing."[/color]
[color=#00FFFF]"Well, my name is Mizu Fudo, the adopted daughter of Itsu Fudo. I have come to this Ringworld to try and find my mother. I haven't seen her in a long time, and I am a bit worried."[/color]
[color=#FFD700]"So you're Izzy's new protege, eh? She was always a great judge of character, your mum."[/color] Jenny sighed, relaxing against a pole. [color=#FFD700]"Well, I'm Jenny, and this is my ship. I travel all over the multiverse in her. She's a lot bigger on the inside than she is on the outside, in case you haven't noticed. She may not like to run, but I try to keep her working."[/color] She turned to Isamy. [color=#FFD700]"So, why don't you tell our new second mate about yourself?"[/color]

[color=darkgreen]"My name is Isamy Entropia, as you heard."[/color] She said. She tried to think of words to introduce herself, while tasting it on her tongue before she said it. [color=darkgreen]"And. . . I travel around the multiverse as well, but I've only been in existence for a couple dozen years. I was born when Protheus Maximus, who was basically the adopted father of my former two personas, Isabel and Amy. For some reason, the two adopted daughters he had fused into me, but it may be related to how he himself somehow disappeared. He had chosen my former two personas as his successors, so that would make me his successor, and adopted daughter. That's about it. I'm here to help Jen find Mr. Maximus."[/color]

Jenny nodded. [color=#FFD700]"Sammy here appeared on the [i]Lot[/i] a few months ago, and we've been making progress towards getting close. We live together, eat together, not sleep together, because that would be weird, but we do work together, and we have a sort of mutual trust. My current objective has been to find Old Prothy, but now our mission priority has gotten kicked into overdrive."[/color]
Mizu was confused. [color=#00FFFF]"What do you mean?"[/color]
[color=#FFD700]"Have you currently got sort of a bad feeling, like one of those instinctual nagging thoughts in the back of your head that this isn't a good place to be?"[/color]
[color=#00FFFF]"Yeah. Why?"[/color]
[color=#FFD700]"Because I know what's causing it. You see, you're not the first kid Itsu has had. She once had an actual daughter, Pandora, who got sent to the void between universes in an accident, and came out all loony and sh*t. Your mum and Sammy's...well, I guess you call him her dad...had to combine together to just seal her away, and now, someone has set her free, so we need to find Protheus, and I think I know how to."[/color]
[color=#00FFFF]"How?"[/color]
[color=#FFD700]"You know where Rei Tousen is."[/color]
Mizu was aghast. [color=#00FFFF]"How do you know that?!?"[/color]
Jenny shrugged. [color=#FFD700]"Sammy told me...kinda...sorta...isn't that right?"[/color]

[color=darkgreen]"Sorta-kinda-maybe."[/color] Isamy replied. [color=darkgreen]"My foresight works in the oddest of ways. But I'm sure that that one thing I told you about fits this situation perfectly, perhaps. Rei Tousen, the one who sealed away that powerful being Pandora, who I can probably say is your sister in a way. Pandora has aspects of both Itsu Solace and Protheus Maximus, and Damian Atlas as well, though I'm afraid the Damian part of her is simply too deep to be touched any longer. Rei Tousen, if the visions were correct, should lead us to Protheus Maximus. . . somehow."[/color]

[◇ Void ◇]

Kana sped through the mountainous roads east of Aesir on his D-Wheel. Avatar was lurking within the Computer, drawing up various files and live data streams from all over the ringworld. Night was now enveloping Aseir and the surrounding area, the stars and countless starships, orbital stations and Silpspace gateways where beginning to show above. Also in the sky was something purple with a giant trail of twilight behind it. Avatar suddenly popped up on the D-wheel's screen with a serious tone.

"Kana, Orbital elevator observatory is reporting another rouge object. It's passed the black zone and is entering the refresh orbital dockyards. Wait, I am receiving a Direct feed from Noah. Patching you through and activating Auto-pilot."

The D-wheel connected itself to a Local GPS track and slowed down to crusing speeds. The video showed a view of local space and several massive space stations, each docking many starships. In the background, a purple blot closed in on the stations. Seconds later, the blot blasted through the hulls of the ships and one of the docking stations, exploding with a multitude of colored flames. Kana, shocked by what he just saw, stamped his feet onto the breaks and grinded to a stop on the empty road. The view returned to avatar, who appeared to be calm about the situation, though truly he felt the same of his biological counterpart.

"Retrieving data from Noah's databanks about that object. It's just scrambled the entire shipyard! We have lost the Pyrite class Column of winter, Timeshift Seven and Arcadia's retribution. The Doomsday has fallen from orbit and it's FTL Drive is leaking. Current rate of projections estimate the Station will Self detonate over the East-west oceans. Wait. The Aperture and the Adjutant have also been severely damaged by the chain of explosions by the other ships. Crap, the press and the parliament are going to screw us about this."

The object began to burn up in the atmosphere of the ringworld, east of Aesir. As it did, thousand of shards shattered from the main object and scattered themselves into the night sky with fiery black glows around each fragment.

[Dementuo]

Zero's mark flashed again. "That's it." Zero said. "That's all you have to do. Just hold Itsu in your thoughts." Zero said, his mark flashing brighter each time. Suddenly, the mark disappeared. Zwei's mark flashed, and disappeared as well. Then, a few seconds later, a mark appeared across Zero's face. It was that of a dragon head, shining on his left cheek. A tail mark followed it, appearing on the opposite cheek. A claw mark, surrounding his right eye, and two wings going across his forehead flashed in as well. Finally, Zero's own mark filled in the gap between the marks going full circle, forming a complete dragon mark. Zero raised his hand from the crystal, pulling with it a card. Six other cards appeared from the crystals, each encased in a separate crystal of the same color as the ones the cards had emerged from. "This is how we'll find her." Zero said, as the crystals burst into light, shattering into dust. The six other cards flew to Zero, and he grabbed each one of them. Their shine began to dull, and the mark across Zero's face faded. Returning to their guardians, the six marks dispersed, both Zwei's and Zero's marks flashing when they did return. "Wolf, Serpent, Fish, Eagle, Hawk, Dragon..." Zero said, looking at each of the cards, listing them off, the shine now completely gone. Zero stopped at the seventh card, and instead slid it into his pocket. He then turned to Rei, six cards still in hand. "Alright, Rei. You should know now where Itsu is. So, here. Take this card..." Zero said, handing Rei one of the six cards. It was titled "Crystalline Dragon". "...Just use it, and it'll guide us to Itsu."

[Kyza Kiryu]

Kyza drew, looking at his freshly drawn card card with a confident smirk, "Ok, here's an old classic. I usually use it in Tag duels with Vicky, to help her out if things get too much. But firstly, I'll set face down a monster" Since he had added Infernity Death Wraith back into his hand by Protection beyond the Grave, it was obvious that was the card he had set, and he knew it, but proceeded with activating the card he had just drawn, "An oldie but a goodie, Creature Swap! Since you have one card in control, it seems I get control of it for now" he winked, his shimmering bronze-black eye closing quickly as he peered over the top of his shades to look at the King.
"Usually I use it to swap cards on my side with Vicky's side, just to bail her out if she needs it." he sniggered, looking over to his fiance with a chuckle, "Or perhaps I should say to bail myself out so we don't both loose, not exactly sure myself"

"Unfortunately, the classics also happen to be the weakest." The Tao King replied, and activated his face-down. "I activate the Quick-Play Spell Card, XIII Past Denial! It allows me to negate the attack of a normal monster [i]or[/i] activation of an ordinary spell or trap card, so I'll negate that Creature Swap of yours right here and now." His face-down flipped open, and a white laser was shot from it, which pierced Kyza's Creature Swap, negating it. "Then I can set either a XIII Present Denial or XIII Future Denial from my deck, but not before I have to reveal it to you. So I'll set my XIII Future Denial." He took a card from his deck and then showed it to Kyza, before setting it. "Now, are you done?"

He chuckled and shook his head slowly, "Yeah, should've seen that coming" he smirked, gesturing to the Tao King, "Ok, I'll end my turn there then" He didn't feel the need to switch his Witch into defense mode, knowing it would only be one more attack before it was over, and he would rather loose then see his Witch defending, on her knees. It irritated him, though he was surprised how much the name of the Tao King's quickplay spell had irritated him too. Past Denial? He had no denials, nothing in his past bothered him.

"My turn, draw." The Tao King said, and drew his card. "This is the final turn. I activate the continuous spell card, Storage Orb of XIII. And also, my Superior XIII Device gains a counter." Then the Superior XIII Device glowed for a moment as it collected its counter, and then a white orb with the XIII insignia on it appeared beside the Key of Destiny. "Now, I activate the effect of the XIII Storage Orb. It allows me, since it has three XIII Counters on it when it is activated, to move a XIII Counter on the field to another card. Now, I'll move two XIII Counters from itself and a counter from the Superior XIII Device to the Key of Destiny." The orb glowed for a moment, and two bright white lights came from it, with another one coming from the Superior XIII Device, and entered the Key of Destiny. "Now that there are five XIII Counters on it, I destroy the Corruption of XIII equipped to it to change its original ATK to 5000." Finally, the Key of Destiny glowed, and its coat was evaporated as it rose into the air, revealing the casual white clothes it wore underneath (ATK [b][i]5000[/b][/i]).

"Now, the final attack! Organization XIII The Key of Destiny, destroy his Infernity Witch! [b][i]Magic Hour[/b][/i]!" The Tao King commanded, and then from the Key of Destiny came a multitude of light beams, all fired down at the Witch.

[Kyza Kiryu]

Kyza smirked, glancing thoughtfully to his deck as though briefly in thought, before he held both of his arms open, welcoming the attack as his eyes flashed wildly. He knew this was the end of the duel, yet his echoing laughter crept out of his throat. Even as the blast struck him, and the illusions of his creatures faded away, his coat thrown back from the blast as he fought back against the force of the attack, he couldn't stop his arrogent smirk from fading, eventually falling to his knees as the dark aura about his body diminished, quelled now the duel was over, his lifepoints dropping to 0.
"...fun way to pass the time" he chuckled, fighting to catch his breath, gently resting his hand upon his chest as he frowned, wincing slightly, "...guess I ..... overdid it a bit...."

The Tao King's D-Pad deactivated before he crossed his arms. "So you cannot control your own darkness completely." He said. "Parallel lines are two lines which are the same in angle. They do not separate away from each other, and yet they never touch, no matter how far they go, even to a duodecillion lightyears, even to infinity. Try to change the angle of the darkness, or yourself, so that both of you are parallel to each other." He then turned his back to Kyza. "Of course, parallelism is impossible, because sooner or later there would be an obvious change, closer or farther. There are always other, easier ways, but parallelism is the only way for perfection." He then walked back to his own tent.

[Kyza Kiryu]

He frowned, watching the King walking away and struggled slowly to his feet, still clutching at his chest. It wasn't the darkness within that was hurting, it was his heart, still the pangs of his previous illness would spark up, nothing as severe as they used to be but briefly it would reemerge to remind him of the man he used to be, before simmering down once more.
He waited until the Tao King had left, walking closer towards Vicky as he scowled angrily, "Geez, try and have a duel to pass the fun by, taking it easy, and I get schooled for it.... give a guy the name 'King' and he takes it literal, huh?" he stepped closer to his fiancee, glancing over his shoulder to where the Tao King's tent stood before looking back to her, "So how goes things with the situation? Guess its too much to hope sis is better and we can just get married and get on with our existance?"

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

Vicky was still twiddling her thumbs, waiting for their escort to the city proper. [color=#800080]"Well, we could talk about how we want to get married. Do you have any ideas, because we are definitely NOT getting wed in my castle, or even have the honeymoon there. The Second Circle of Hell is not the best place to say our 'I dos' or consummate our wedlock. In fact, I'm considering moving."[/color]

Mizu asked. [color=#00FFFF]"So what do we do now?"[/color]
Jenny replied, starting the ship back up as she did. [color=#FFD700]"We find Rei, and she will help us to find Protheus."[/color]

Rei turned to Zero. [color=#FF69B4]"How am I supposed to use this card?"[/color]

[Kyza Kiryu]

Kyza chuckled, gently draping an arm around her shoulder and holding her closer. He was still quite slender, but his arms were a little more toned, more muscular then they had been when they had met, and he kissed the top of her head, resting his cheek on the smooth black hair upon her head, "So far, all we have is the fact we'll be living here once the wedding is over..." he mused, gesturing with his other hand to the ringworld, "providing the locals are more hospitable then they stared" he sniggered, looking up to the sky above them.
"...I suppose once this is all over, we can work on the guest list.. who you want to walk you up the aisle, who I'll have as best man, maids of honour..." he smiled, taking hold of her hand as he gently slid his fingers between hers, sighing softly, "the things we've faced, creatures we've fought, and here we are struggling to put our own wedding ideas into some sort of shape...."

". . . I activate the effect of Chaos Goddess (ATK 2500)!" Omoikane declared. "By discarding a LIGHT monster from my hand, I can special summon a Level 5 or higher DARK monster from my graveyard! I discard my Chaos-End Master! Come back, Chaos Hunter!" The fairy-like goddess pointed its staff forward, and from it came a light. Then another monster, the one which was earlier destroyed, reappeared (ATK 2500). "Now that there is a LIGHT and a DARK monster in my graveyard, I remove them both from play!

[center][i]Light and Dark clash to form the universe! Look upon its messenger! [b]Advent! Come forth the chaos, Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning![/i][/b][/center]"

Two orbs appeared on the field, one white, and one black. The two circled around each other, before colliding, and then a bright light appeared which showered the field, but then it was quickly put out. A figure was then floating in the air, above Omoikane, a man wearing gold and bluish demonic armor wielding a sword (ATK 3000). "Now, Black Luster Soldier, destroy his Steelswarm Girastag!"
The warrior charged towards the insect-like monster (ATK 2600) and was about to destroy it.
[color=darkgray]"I activate my face-down, Infestation Ripples! It allows me, by paying 500 life points, to special summon a Level 4 or lower Steelswarm monster from my graveyard! Now come forth, Steelswarm Cell!"[/color] Then the monster which had earlier been tributed reappeared, looking like a black ladybug (ATK 0). [color=darkgray]"Now I activate the effect of Ultimate Offering, paying another 500 to tribute my Girastag and Cell to Tribute Summon Steelsawrm Caucastag!"[/color] A dark force consumed the Girastag before Black Luster Soldier could destroy it, and the force spread towards Cell and devoured it as well. Then the dark force transformed into an armored humanoid insect-like being (ATK 2800). [color=darkgray]"I activate the effect of Caucastag, which allows me to either destroy all other monsters or all spell and traps on the field! I will destroy all monsters! Steelswarm Caucastag, [i]Inverz Reverse![/i]"[/color] The insect-like monster thrust its hands forward, and suddenly all of Omoikane's monsters were destroyed.
"WHAT?!?" Omoikane said. He clenched his fist. Whatever he tried didn't work. The dark spirit just kept on summoning more and more powerful monsters, and his life points was rapidly increasing. But he didn't give up.
[b]"I will not be defeated! I will defeat you, and free the body of Maximus!"[/b] He declared. [b]"I set a card and end my turn!"[/b]

Omoikane LP: 300
Nox LP: [b]13000[/b]

[color=darkgray]"It is hopeless!"[/color] Nox replied as he drew his card. [color=darkgray]"You may have found me, but this body, this body which cannot grow old or die, and is immortal in every way, it is the perfect host! Maximus came to me seeking answers, since I am one of the oldest non-divine beings in the multiverse, but I'm afraid he wasn't as careful as his son, who had earlier tempted me to help him, but thankfully I was freed when this one albino kid managed to defeat me. [i]This body is mine, and you cannot have it!"[/color][/i]

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

Vicky kissed her beloved on the cheek. [color=#800080]"Itsu is my maid of honor. No contest there. And my bridesmaids will be my maids, Gwen, Bernardette, Deitrich, Ivanna, and Da-in. You remember my Dark Signer Maids, right?"[/color]

Rei's question was answered for her as a beam of light shot from the card through a shadow square that was receding from them into space. [color=#FF69B4]"Great."[/color] Rei moaned. [color=#FF69B4]"Space."[/color]

[font=Impact]"THEY HAVE FOUND THE BASE OF OUR COMMON ENEMY."[/font]
[color=#A9A9A9]"Yes, they have."[/color]
[font=Impact]"WE MUST PROVE OUR SUPERIORITY TO THEM, AND THEN, WE WILL CLAIM THIS RINGWORLD!"[/font]
[color=#A9A9A9]"Not yet."[/color]
[font=Impact]"...WHY NOT?"[/font]
[color=#A9A9A9]"We must lower their guards. They know I'm here."[/color]
[font=Impact]"BUT THE MOTHER OF OUR LIBERATOR DOES NOT KNOW THAT [u]WE[/u] ARE HERE!"[/font]
[color=#A9A9A9]"She will if we make the wrong move. She isn't like your arch-enemy. She uses a weapon you would never be able to counter."[/color]
[font=Impact]"OUR CASINGS ARE VIRTUALLY INDESTRUCTIBLE! YOU CAN COUNT THE NUMBER OF WEAPONS THAT CAN HARM US ON YOUR INFERIOR FINGERS!"[/font]
[color=#A9A9A9]"This weapon is something your armor cannot deflect, or your shields can negate. It is love, as simple as that."[/color]
[font=Impact]"LOVE IS AN INFERIOR EMOTION! IT CANNOT STOP US!"[/font]
[color=#A9A9A9]"It can. She uses the bonds between people, bonds stronger than the strongest metal, to fight against her foes. She can turn even the meekest of weaklings into a powerful warrior with her infinite love. Even I may become subject to its effects..."[/color]
[font=Impact]"THEN YOU ARE NO LONGER OF ANY USE TO US!"[/font]
[color=#A9A9A9]"Don't be hasty. Remember who brought you and your friends out of that war, and who can bring even more of you here, away from certain doom."[/color]
[font=Impact]"...YOU HAVE MADE YOUR POINT..."[/font]
[color=#A9A9A9]"Patience, my friend. The time to make our next move is close at hand..."[/color]

A few turns later. . . .

[color=darkgray]"My turn again, draw!"[/color] Nox declared, and drew his card. [color=darkgray]"I activate the effect of Predicted Doom again, putting my Steelswarm Girastag, Steelswarm Caucastag, and Steelswarm Cell in that order from my graveyard onto my deck!"[/color] Three dark lights then appeared and entered Nox's deck. [color=darkgray]"Now I activate the effect of Predicting Hope, allowing me to declare a card name up to three times, and then draw cards from my deck! Then I gain 1000 life points for every card correct! I declare them, Steelswarm Girastag, Steelswarm Caucastag, and Steelswarm Cell!"[/color] He then drew three cards. [color=darkgray]"I am correct three times, increasing my life points to [b]22000![/b]"[/color] Once again, a powerful dark aura erupted around Nox who was in Protheus's body.
It was getting impossible, the duel. How could Omoikane inflict 22000 points of damage, when every attack he's attempted backfires? He was starting to lose hope.
[color=darkgray]"Now I activate the spell card, [b]The Light Within Darkness![/b] By removing from play 5 DARK monsters I control, I can Special Summon the forgotten god, [b][i][u]THE TWILIGHT ONE![/i][/b][/u]"[/color]
All five monsters on Nox's field were then covered in darkness that swept the field. Omoikane and Nox had been dueling on what appeared to be a rock platform in space, which was only a couple of light-years from the Ringworld. Then a light came from behind Nox, and a gigantic white vortex big enough to fit an Earthbound Immortal appeared. It began swirling over and over, accelerating with each swirl, and then a black phoenix slowly began to emerge, starting with its head. It had red gem-like eyes, and as it came it, it was obvious that this was something far stronger than any ordinary monster, even far stronger than the Earthbound Immortals, being twice as big as them. It had thousands of black feathers, and as it cried out in a stressful tone, Omoikane was paralyzed in fear, and it seemed that Nox himself was paralyzed, as if he didn't expect the Twilight One to be just that powerful (4300 ATK). Omoikane then snapped out of it, however.
[b]"That's Maximus's card you're using there!"[/b] He shouted angrily. He clenched his fists as he looked at the enormous black phoenix, used most likely against its will, only obeying since Nox was in its master's body. Nox wasn't worthy, since he took advantage of cards and faked his own predictions, even taking advantage of a distraught for whatever reason Protheus and taking over his body.
[color=darkgray]"Yes, yes."[/color] Nox said, still trying to figure out just what kind of power he had just unleashed, but then he snapped out of it himself and laughed coldly. Zero smiled. "Simple, isn't it?" Zero said, grasping the card once more. "Now, I'll need this back..." He said, taking the card. "Well, it looks as though something happened. Judging by your comment, it's not something you were looking forward to." Zero said. "Ah, I'm not as knowledgable of these things, so why don't you explain to us what exactly you mean by 'Space'." He asked, sliding the card into his deck.
Zwei looked over his shoulder at the moon. It was the same as it had been before, not changing in the slightest.

((Introducing another two characters here.))

"...Is that so?"
"Yeah."
"And you're sure he's got it?"
"I'm sure."
"Hmm... How many?"
"As far as I know, it's three. But, they disappeared off the map some time ago, so they may have met someone else along the way."
"...Who's with him."
"The tail, and some girl."
"So it really is him..."
"Something wrong?"
"No, it's nothing... Thank you. Dismissed."
"Yes, sir."

Omoikane collapsed to his knees and breathed a sigh of relief as the Twilight One faded away, defeated. ". . . I set a card and end my turn."
Nox, however, despite having both his Hercules and Protheus's Twilight One defeated, was not yet done.. [color=darkgray]"You have fought well."[/color] He said. [color=darkgray]"But I still have [b]one last trick up my sleeves, draw!"[/color][/b]

[color=darkgray]"I activate the spell card, Pot of Greed! It allows me to draw two cards from my deck!"[/color] Nox declared, and drew his two cards. [color=darkgray]"I activate the spell card Recurring Nightmare, which allows me to return two DARK monsters with 0 DEF from my graveyard back to my hand! Both of my Steelswarm Callers, come back!"[/color] Two humanoid insect-like beings emerged from the ground, the same ones which had earlier been tributed for his monsters AND used for the Lifepoint-Increase strategy, and then they flew into their respective cards, which Nox added to his hand. [color=darkgray]"Now I summon one of those Steelswarm Callers!"[/color] Then one of the two reappeared on the field once more (ATK 1700). [color=darkgray]"And then I activate the spell Double Summon, allowing me to normal summon once again! Come forth, my other Steelswarm Caller!"[/color] Then another appeared. . . (ATK 1700).
"What will that achieve?" Omoikane asked.
[color=darkgray]"You have pushed me far enough. It is time to reveal the card that I had sworn a while ago never to use again. It is not a normal monster, and I hate it for that, but you have given me NO CHOICE! [b]I OVERLAY MY TWO STEELSWARM CALLERS![/b]

[center][i]"From the collapse of the vanished universe, the inverted darkness of what was left behind will enter into a new cosmos! The reversed darkness that never desired to be in this universe! [b]UNDERSTAND OUR HATRED OF ALL THAT IS [b]SPECIAL[/b], AND HATE YOURSELF! EXCEED SUMMON! PREVENT EVOLUTION OF ALL ELSE, STEELSWARM ROACH!!!!!!!!!!!!!"[/b][/center][/color][/i]

As Nox chanted, he stacked the two monsters on his black duel disk on top of each other before taking a card from his Extra Deck and putting that on top. It was odd, but then the two monsters then transformed into two orbs of darkness which then circled each other as they flew into the sky, and high above them appeared a swirling dark vortex. The two orbs continued to circle each other, getting higher with each round, and then finally they reached the vortex, which they entered. From there, a powerful darkness was unleashed from the vortex which tore it apart, and then a big object which appeared to be made of gold emerged from it, with the two orbs circling around it. It moved with amazing speed and shot down to where Omoikane and Nox were, and then it hit the middle of the rock platform with a crash, whatever it was.
Omoikane closed his eyes for a moment so as to keep the small rocks that came from the crash coming into his eyes. When he opened his eyes, he saw a humanoid though insect-like figure. It had a straight back and parts around its body seemed to be made of gold. It had the insect wings that all the Steelswarms had, along with the two antennae on its head and a golden tail. It was muscular, and wielded two swords. Out of all the Steelswarms, this one seemed to be the most noble, and oddly enough, the most powerful (ATK 1900).
[b]“EXCEED WHAT?!”[/b] Omoikane gasped. [b]”OVERLAY WHAT?!”[/b] He gasped again. [b]”ROACH WHAT?!”[/b] He gasped once more.
[color=darkgray]”Are you done?”[/color] Nox asked. [color=darkgray]”No matter. Steelswarm Roach, attack directly!”[/color]
Omoikane was still trying to understand it when it attacked him. He was knocked back a few meters, until he was next to the edge of the rock platform. He wasn’t particularly concerned about the damage he would suffer, since it was only a bit.
[color=darkgray]”Turn end.”[/color]

“Draw!” Omoikane said, and drew his card. “What kind of name is ‘Roach’, anyway? The names of your previous monsters were better than that, while that monster you just summoned was SO OBVIOUSLY named after a cockroach! I’ll squash it! I remove from play my Chaos Necromancer and Chaos Goddess in my graveyard!

[center][i]Light and darkness vanish to end all existence! From deep slumber, behind the curtains of light and darkness, comes not a king, but an emperor! Bow down as you look upon that awakened emperor! [b]Advent! Come forth the chaos, Chaos Emperor Dragon, Env-”[/b][/center][/i]

[color=darkgray]“Steelswarm Roach, [I]Evolution Disruption![/I]”[/color] Nox declared suddenly, and that knocked Omoikane off guard. He saw as Nox took one of the two stacked Steelswarm Callers from beneath his Exceed card and send it to the graveyard.
One of the two orbs circling around Roach began to move erratically, and it shot towards two different orbs, one white and one black, which had appeared in front of Omoikane. Roach followed it with amazing speed, and the its wacko orb danced around the black and white orbs, which were expanding in size. And with a cross-slash, all three orbs were destroyed, and the summon of whatever Chaos Emperor Dragon was had been intercepted. Roach then retreated back to Nox’s side, with only one orb circling it left. Omoikane blinked.
“WHAT?!” He shouted out.
[color=dark gray]”I’m sorry, did I forget to mention?”[/color] Nox asked mockingly. [color=darkgray]”Steelswarm Roach has an effect. It allows me to remove an overlaid card from it so I can intercept the Special Summon of a Level 5 or higher monster, and destroy it. With this card on the field, you - can - no - longer - SCREW - [I]THE - [b]RULES!”[/color][/b][/I]
And he laughed coldly.

From a nearby position, a strange white-cloaked figure watched the duel. The wind picked up, and her hood shifted to reveal a strange woman with an uncanny resemblance to Sherry LeBlanc. She watched the duel with an impassive look on her face, until the purple gems on her hands, stomach, and forehead started glowing, and her pupils shrunk.

The woman shook her head as she snapped back to reality, her gems dimming as her eyes went back to normal. She quickly went up to Nox and whispered into his ear so his opponent wouldn't be able to hear them.

He turned to the woman. [color=darkgray]"I [i]know[/i] that!"[/color] He said, and turned back to Omoikane. [color=darkgray]"My turn, draw!"[/color]

[color=darkgray]"Go, Steelswarm Roach, attack once again!"[/color] He declared, and it lunged at Omoikane again. He was hit, sent back further, but he managed. [color=darkgray]"I set a card. Turn end."[/color]
"He's not going anywhere!" Omoikane said to the mysterious woman who had been there since the start of the duel. "I have no idea what this 'QAI' is, or who this 'Mad Goddess' is, but I have questions to ask Maximus, and this guy [b]isn't going anywhere, draw![/b]"

"I activate the card, Chaos Greed!" He declared. "When there are four or more cards removed from play, I can draw two from my deck! Draw!" He then drew two cards from his deck. "I drew another Chaos Greed, and I'll activate that one too!" He activated it, and drew two more cards, and grinned, but he wore a mask so Nox didn't notice it. "I activate the spell card, Different Dimension Support! Once per turn, by selecting a removed from play monster, I can gain Life Points equal to its ATK! I select my Black Luster Soldier!" The ghost of the earlier Envoy of the Beginning appeared, and it entered Omoikane, which then increased his Life Points to 3600.
"Now, I normal summon the monster, Gale Dogra, in defense!" On the field then appeared an insect-like monster (DEF 600). "By paying 3000 Life Points, it allows me to send a monster from my Extra Deck to the graveyard!" The monster's eyes glowed red, and then an extremely big shadow emerged from Omoikane's duel disk, before rushing into the ground. "And now. . ." For a moment, he was uncertain. He had never done this before. It could be dangerous. It was dangerous.
"I activate the trap card Different Dimension Hole! It allows me to Special Summon a monster with 1000 or less ATK that is removed from play! Thus, I Special Summon Phantom of Chaos!" An ominous dark cloud appeared above Omoikane, and it was swirling. "It is Level 4, so your Roach cannot negate it, and now. . . [b]feel an illusion! I activate the effect of Phantom of Chaos! By removing from play an Effect monster in my graveyard, it gains its name, effect, and ATK. . . Prepare thyself. I remove from play [i]Armityle, the Chaos Phantom.[/b][/i]"
[center][i]From searing flame, striking thunder, and phantasms, comes the deepest center, the very core itself, of chaos! Fuse thyself into a form of ultimate destruction when I call thine name! [b]Appear, Armityle, the Chaos Phantom![/b]"
Nox took a step back in fear. His eyes widened. The cloud began to expand and Steelswarm Roach had no way to stop it. The cloud transformed into a complicated shape, but it was as tall as a giant, and it was humanoid, with wings, and yet with also the oddest body features. It couldn't be described directly, but it looked like an amalgam of three powerful beasts, a bad one at that. "Armityle, destroy his Steelswarm Roach, Transmigration Wave!"
But Nox wasn't about to give up, even when he watched Armityle's ATK rise to [b]10,000[/b], which would last until the End Phase. [color=darkgray]"I activate the trap card, Negate Attack!"[/color] He declared, and a vortex appeared in front of the Chaos Phantom, stopping it before it could do anything monstrous.
Omoikane fell to his knees, and grasped his chest. It was difficult to keep this up. "I. . . I set two cards and end my turn."
The Chaos Phantom then began to shrink again, until it was once again only a black cloud.
