Akarui sat on his bed which he made himself. Looking through his cards he saw his God Card. "Zeus." he stated with a small smile "The next tournament starts in a few weeks..." he stated as he placed his cards in his deck case and grabbed his Duel Disk "....and I'll be ready." he finished as he walked out of the shelter he made. He walked down the sidewalk. Thinking "(Damn, I'm so bored. I'd do anything for a duel.)" Akarui thought with his head down as he continued walking, thinking about strategies "(Okay.... strategy number one is....)" Akarui thought.

Quothe was sitting down one the sidewalk in the street. He was waiting for a message from Infera. No one paid him any heed. He didn't care. No one thought he was a duelist. He didn't care. No one, nay, not many knew about how the Greek God Cards worked. Of coarse, Quothe only knew so much himself. But he was glad to know something someone didn't. He saw many people walking by, but none were what Quothe was waiting for. He had sat there for hours, at Infera's request. But no one noticed him, that was what he like. No one gave a second thought about him, that was what he liked best. He just hoped Infera would contact him soon.

As Akarui walked down the sidewalk, an ancient creature watched him. You see, in ancient times, there was a reason strange creatures guarded places of great importance. The lions in front of major libraries, the sphinxes and jackal-headed warriors Ancient Egyptians placed outside of their most precious tombs, and the beasts the Chinese called "lions" on the path up to their palaces were all derived from the same entity: an entity that had been drifting from guarding place to guarding place since the beginning of time. She knows why she was given this job, but it was so long ago, and she has been so devoted to her task, that she has pretty much forgotten about it. Her entire life is either the guarding of what she is guarding, the hunting of what was stolen, or the searching of a place to guard.
However, her recent task, the safekeeping of the "Godly Cards", the sealed-away aspects of the Ancient Greek Gods and their foes, the Ancient Greek Titans, had been interrupted. A servant of the Titans had briefly trapped her in time and space, and now the cards had been stolen. The boy she was hunting was one of the holders, and she knew she must get both sides back under wraps before the world she was in was destroyed.

Jason walked out of the water he had been surfing in, and dried himself off ready for his next underground duel tonight. As he walked, he checked over the surfboard-like duel disk on his arm, checking to make sure it still worked and hadn't gotten ruined in the water. He grabbed out his deck and flicked through his cards, stopping to look at his Godly Card, Poseidon, before flicking further to look at Neo-Daedalus, the Ocean Dragon Lord. Content that everything was in order, he continued on, knowing that if the duel went badly tonight he could lose his reputation as the top underground duelist.

Aiden was riding around downtown on his duel runner. He had just won a duel against a local mob bosses son. The guy’s goons were chasing Aiden through the streets, and started to gain on him. He took a left turn going into one of his friend’s garage. Once inside he used his friend’s secret tunnel which leads to duel runners circuit under the city. Aiden knows that once he reaches the DRR league that the mobsters won't be able to touch him. He reached his personal duel runner garage inside the DRR, and parked his duel runner by his collection of tools. Aiden then went upstairs to his bedroom to take a nap after that high speed chase.

[Serenity the Candyman]

Jango, in the his limo, looked out the window and sighed, not paying attention the assistant that his father had assigned him since he was 15. It wasn't that he wasn't saying anything important, which he was, but it was that he was growing quite bored with just dueling in the regional Tournaments and just winning them with no real opponents. Sure there were those that were halfway decent, but nothing that he couldn't handle. [i]Is there anyone out there who can take me on and present a challenge? Oh Gods Almighty, if this the path that you have set for me, please send a warrior that can challenge me. [/i]

[Spell Master]

While leaving the woods for a brief moment to get some medicine, Nero was surrounded by a mob of rouge duelists. One of them said, "Alright, punk! Now hand over everything you have hand we may go easy on you!" All of the goons started to giggle. They thought they were top dog. Nero dropped a bag that he was carrying and pulled a duel disk and deck out. "You want my things?" He said with a cold face, "Then come and take them." That one look sent down a large chill down all the lower goons spines to the point that they ran off. The leader shouted, "Get back here you cowards!" As he faced toward Nero once more, he started to quiver in fear because of a giant like creature behind him. The leader dropped everything he had and tried to catch up with his men. "What a coward." Nero mumbled. "That is the way of humans, I suppose." Looking at a card and asked, "Right Gaia?" The leader didn't drop that much, but a few things was useful to him. Nero grabbed what he needed and noticed an entry form for an underground duel tournament. Showing a slight hint of a smile, he puts it in his pocket and walks towards town.

Damien sat on the sofa of the Crawford Mansion, he took off his duel disk and searched through his deck for Mnemosyne - Titan of Memory. 13 seconds later he found it, he looked at it..and thought, "Is that my destiny.....?" Damien sighed and looked blankly at the card, then out of nowhere somebody said, "Greetings, Damien." Damien jumped up from the sofa and the card dropped on the floor, he said, "I remember that voice.....your that woman! And the picture in Mnemosyne - Titan of Memory was you! Don't tell me your...Mnemosyne!?"

"I am Mnemosyne, Damien, I see you have mixed feelings for the battle. You cannot exit the battle, it is impossible, it was bound to happen for you anyways. If you choose to help The Godly 12, you will die, OK?"

"Y-yes.......I will help The Lords of Time no matter what....."

"Good."

Damien thought, "She must've left by now.."

[Serenity the Candyman]

Jango continued to ponder on the situation, and an idea came to him. [i]I've got it, bless the Gods! Most of these opponents I have faced have been only those that could enter the tournaments. There has bound to be better Duelists on the streets no doubt. Sometimes the meek have the strength of lion.[/i] Looking out the window, he watched for any one that would possible have a duel disk or even be in a Duel at the moment. Then, as if the Gods agreed to his idea, has someone with a duel disk walk on the sidewalk, and it looked like he was in deep thought. "Stop! At once!" he said and the limo stopped a few feet in front of the male. Stepping out and straightening his suit, he walked over and stood in his way. "Excuse me sir, but if you want to now how it feels to duel a real person, come with me." Jango said to him, smile on his face.

ooc: Thats Akarui's cue.

Akarui smiled back "You're on." Akarui stated. Going over strategies in his head. "(...He's getting himself into a huge mess.)" Akarui thought, he couldn't help but smile a confident smile as he sat in the limo. "(I'll finally get to show off the power of Zeus.)" Akarui thought. Smiling the whole time he was thinking. He went over every possible strategy in his head. "(Should I start out with Synchro Summoning, or the little 'surprise' inside? Heheheh, whichever becomes available first.)" Akarui thought as he continued over his strategies.

Jason saw the water still surrounding his body move and form a tiny arrow pointing to a limo, such uses of water being how Poseidon talked to him. He looked in the direction of the twitch and saw a guy in a ragged hoodie get in the limo that a well dressed guy was already sitting in. Deciding to go see how this went and what would happen to those Godly Cards, Jason grabbed his surf board off his back and placed it to the ground where it started to float, the surf board doubling as a hover board and a duel board. While he followed the limo, he thought about if they knew about the existance of the the Godly Cards or if one or both had a Godly Card in their deck.

[Serenity the Candyman]

Jango smiled even more as his request was accepted. Surely the Gods were smiling on him for such a plan to be going as smoothly as it was. "Thank you very much! Please step right in this limo." Jango said, hand opened at the door and bowing, to show the upmost respect for his guest. Watching his new guest jumping into the seat, he thought, [i]I hope this dosent turn out to be some newbie Duelist how cant handle a simple children's card game. Even if he does have in his possession the ultimate deck, I wont go down easily.[/i] Stepping into the limo himself, the assistant was giving off a preplexed look and said, "Really? We stopped from visiting the President of Gomec Ind. for picking up a stranger off the street? We have no time for such small matters such as..."" Well, the President can wait." Jango interupted, " This is my Guest for the time being and you shall treat him as such. Driver, to the estate immediatly!" Jango could hardly wait, but remained calm on the outside.

[Spell Master]

Feeling more and more out of place around everyone in town, Nero stayed quiet until he got what he needed. The moment he walked out of the door, his Titan card Gaia started to act up. Taking it out he asks her, "Whats wrong Gaia?" Gaia started to glow immensely and said, "[color="#008000"]Our enemy's are near here. The Gods that betrayed us[/color]!" Nero looks around and puts Gaia back into the deck and runs off back to the woods. He then took the card back out, laid it in front of him and started to meditate. Gaia then appeared in his mind and started to speak, "[color="#008000"]Nero, the time has come for you to decide what you wish to do. You and I work as one, do you wish to destroy the gods with me and the others[/color]?" Nero hesitates, "Why would I do that? That just means I'll have to work with others. You know full well on what that means." Gaia gives a small sigh and continues, "[color="#008000"]Yes, I do understand. But we, the Titans, are the Lords of Time. Our desire is to rule the world and form it as [b]WE[/b] see fit. And if we succeed, you will never have feel that way about anyone ever again Nero. Now I ask you this....Will you join us[/color]?" For a moment, Nero didn't want to. But the longer he was thinking, the more he liked the idea. After 10 minutes of thinking it over, Nero stands up and says, "I will join your cause Gaia. It is as you say, we do work together. So what ever your desires are, they are mine as well." Gaia smiled and returned to her card. Nero picked her up and placed her back into the deck and ran off to locate the God owners.

Damien sat in his limo, while his Limo Driver drove around the city, Damien looked for some interesting things, but what he looking for were tournaments. A few minutes later of driving around the city, Damien said, "Park somewhere nearby, and drop me off, I'll contact you when I need you."

"Yes, sir." the Limo Driver responded.

Damien walked forward, fixing his Duel Disk to make him more comfortable, then, something caught his eye. An building with a lot of people seen inside, the building wasn't pretty big though. Damien walked inside, looking around, he saw some posters and one said, "Underground Tournament under the stairs! Join now!"

Damien walked down the stairs, duel disks flashed through his face, he saw people circling around somebody. Somebody said to Damien "Interested in our underground tournament, aye? Come with me fo' the entry."

Damien followed that man, later they stopped and the man said, "'Ere, use this card so da' "bouncers," can verify ya. The tournament's gon' happen soon."

Damien grabbed the card and sat on one of the chairs in the room, and waited patiently.

[Spell Master]

As Nero was running around town, he dug in his pocket once more and pulled out the flier that goon had dropped. While looking at it, he found the address and realized that he wasn't all to far from it. Once he found the place and obtained a card from a creepy old man, he found himself surrounded by people. Thinking to himself,[b] I'm going to be sick[/b]. Trying his hardest to ignore everyone, Nero found a seat and sat down for a while. Then suddenly, Gaia started to act up saying, "[color="#008000"]Mnemosyne....I feel that you are here. Reveal yourself to us, so we can work together once more[/color]." Looking around the room, Nero couldn't pinpoint who Gaia was talking about. So he sat there waiting for the person to come to him. That was, if they could figure out it was him that had a Titan.

[Siarnaq]

"Damien, don't panic, I have to tell you something." Mnemosyne said.

"Woah! Where are you?!" Damien shouted. Everyone who heard him turned around and looked at him, some started murmuring, "Weirdo...."

Damien scoffed and thought, "I guess you can communicate through the card or what?"

Mnemosyne responded, "Indeed, I can put a little energy into the card, and some of my energy will be inside that card, whenever I use that energy, I can communicate through the card, to you."

Damien questioned, "So...what's the problem?"

Mnemosyne answered, "This is going to be strange to you, but I have been in the "energy room" in the card, since you left your so-called limo, when you were waiting, somebody said, "Mnemosyne....I feel that you are here. Reveal yourself to us, so we can work together once more." That voice was pretty "blurry" to me, but I could tell it is Gaia, another titan. Walk around Damien, so I can feel the energy where Gaia is at..."

Damien thought, "Uhm, ok." Damien got up from the chair and started walking around while Mnemosyne told him where to go.

Mnemosyne said, "Stop, go back to where you sat, and go 6 steps to the right.....there's another of "you" there, talk to him..his got to be one of us."

Damien did exactly what Mnemosyne did, and Damien looked at the boy, Damien sat on the chair left of that boy, moved closer to that boy, and whispered to him, "Psst...hey! You are the controller of Gaia......yes?"

[Reinforce]

Jason remembered his duel as he was riding and, almost sadly, turned around and headed for the underground arena. When he walked in, as usual, a few people said hello and welcomed him in. Randal, the guy who had met Daimen near the entrance, came up and told Jason that there were two new guys here tonight who had both sat down and then suddenly started to talk to each other. "Thanks for the info Randal, seems like a couple of new duelists might be here to join and, as the current champion, I should probably go meet them." Satisfied that he had done his job, Randal walked away and Jason headed over to where the two were discussing something. "G'day, I'm Jason, Randal tells me you two are new so I'm here to welcome both of you to underground dueling" at that moment, the water around Jason vibrated violently, as if Poseidon was warning him away from them and then, abruptly went still again.

[Spell Master]

As Nero was thinking if there was even anybody going to come to him, some dude comes by and sits right next to him asking about having Gaia. Nero only looked at the dude with a dark expression and felt disgusted. He had to work with this person? Trying very hard to ignore the feeling he whispered, "Why do you ask? Are you a Titan wielder as well? If your not, I'll personally make sure you regretted ever talking to me." Gaia interrupted him, "[color="#008000"]Nero, try to be a little bit more nice. You two will be working together for a while[/color]." Thinking to himself, [b]I'm still having a hard time grasping the idea[/b]. Then out of nowhere, another person came up, introduced himself as Jason and started to talk to him and the person sitting next to him. Gaia then said, "[color="#008000"]Nero, he is one of them. The enemy! The wielder of Poseidon[/color]!" Nero's expression changed as she said that. Then he said to her, "Don't worry, if thats true, then he'll regret the day he found me." As soon as the Jason left, the tournament just about started and names were being pulled to determine who was facing who. To his surprise, he was in the same bracket of the boy who mentioned about his Titan. He turns around and glares evilly at him and says, "Listen, I don't care if we are partners or not, you better go your fullest on me." While walking away, Nero added on, "And don't even think about summoning your Titan against me. Save it for the duel against Poseidon, got it?!"

[Siarnaq]

Damien grinned and said quickly, "Fine! So you say Poseidon? Poseidon's controller's around? Just makes it more adventurous for the both of us! But don't underestimate me! I'll go first!"

Damien drew 6 cards (as it was his turn) and looked at them, and thought, "Hmm....good draws...I'll finish this turn quick and easy."

Damien chuckled and said, "I summon Garoth, Lightsworn Warrior on the field and another card face-down on the field."

Mnemosyne said to Damien, "Meh, you sure you know what you're doing? Summoning a monster on the field on your first turn."

Damien said quietly so nobody would hear him, "I have a Trap face-down on the field...no worries, I know what I'm doing."

Damien said gently, "I end my turn, what do you have in store?"

[Spell Master]

Drawing his five cards, Nero says, "Then it's my move I draw!" Drawing his sixth card. [b]I can't believe I'm doing this, Nero thinks[/b]. Looking at his hand, he plans out his turn and say's "I'll play these 2 cards face down and Summon Giant Soldier of Stone in DEF mode." A large rock type soldier appeared on the field along with 2 cards facing down behind it. Looking back at his hand, he takes another one and says, "Now I activate Yellow Luster Shield! This card increases the defense points of monsters that I control by 300." He starts to think, [b]look out Gods, the Titans are on the loose[/b]. Gaia then looks at Nero shaking her head in agreement.

Damien scoffed, "You like playin' defense eh? Well, better start playin' offense because it is my turn now! I draw!"

Damien looked at his drew card and thought, "Lightsworn Sabre! Hah! I can destroy that stone soldier easily now!"

Damien grinned, "I activate Lightsworn Sabre and equip it to my Garoth, Lightsworn Warrior! Now my Garoth's attack points are increased by 700 by the effect of my Spell Card, and my Garoth now has 2550 attack points! Hehe....watch out! I switch to Battle Phase!"

Damien pointed to the Giant Soldier of Stone and said, "I attack your Giant Soldier of Stone with my Garoth!"

Damien scoffed, "You like playin' defense eh? Well, better start playin' offense because it is my turn now! I draw!"

Damien looked at his drew card and thought, "Lightsworn Sabre! Hah! I can destroy that stone soldier easily now!"

Mnemosyne appeared right of Damien and said with a smile, "Gaia! Long time since we have met! How are you doing?"

Damien grinned, "I activate Lightsworn Sabre and equip it to my Garoth, Lightsworn Warrior! Now my Garoth's attack points are increased by 700 by the effect of my Spell Card, and my Garoth now has 2550 attack points! Hehe....watch out! I switch to Battle Phase!"

Damien pointed to the Giant Soldier of Stone and said, "I attack your Giant Soldier of Stone with my Garoth!"

"Hehehe, I thought that you would of fallen for it, reveal Trap card, Negate attack!" As Garoth attacked Giant Soldier of Stone, the trap card opened up a vortex in between them and nullified the attack and ending the Battle Phase. "I sure hope that that isn't the best that you can do, because if it is, you will not like what is going to come." dark vibes echoed out of Neros body. As Mnemosyne appeared next to Damien, Gaia appeared next to Nero and replied, "[color="#008000"]It certainly has been a long time Mnemosyne. How long has it been do you recall facing each other like this last? Anyway, you'd best warn your wielder to be careful right now, mine seems to be in his stage of fighting again[/color]." Nero then asked, "Now are you finished? I'd like to end this myself."

Quothe had sat on the curb for many hours more. And it was only when it was getting to the point where darkness was soon did he move. ButThen he received a message. From Infera or another of her agents. It said that there was a duel going on. Radiating power. Only a duel with gods or titans could radiate this much energy. He was to discover who was dueling. Something in his head was asking him to think. But Quothe shook his head. Thinking only left him sad, for reasons he couldn't fathom. And indecisive. He didn't want to go back to that. He started walking to the place where the duel was held. The coordinates were on his watch. He knew that he might need to duel, but did not look at his deck. He knew the cards in it and didn't need to look at them. If needed, he would beat anyone into submission.

[color=white]"Oh, don't underestimate me.....I draw!" Damien said as he drew a card from his Duel Disk and looked at it and said, "Alright..I activate Charge of the Light Brigade!" Damien said as he activated that spell card on the field, and a ray of light flashed.

"This spell card allows me to send the top 3 cards of my deck to the Graveyard! Then add 1 level 4 or lower Lightsworn monster from my deck to my hand!"
Damien said as he looked at what the Duel Disk automatically send 3 top cards of his deck to the Graveyard. Damien grinned, "Wulf, Lightsworn Beast was one of the cards send to the graveyard! And its effect lets me special summon it when those cards is sent from my deck to the Graveyard! So...let a ray of light be on my side again!" Wulf, Lightsworn Beast roared as it was special summoned by its effect.

Damien said, "Oh, and prepare! I summon Aurkus, Lightsworn Druid from my hand! Its effect lets Lightsworn monsters cannot be targeted by effects! Now I switch to Battle Phase, and I use my Garoth to attack your Stone Soldier!"

Mnemosyne said, "Oh, he can handle himself, yours shouldn't underestimate him, he seems to thinking he already won the duel. And by the way, have you seen any Gods yet?"[/color]

"Meh, go ahead..I end my phase, but you wouldn't like what I have after your turn, because its going to get very, very, rough!" Damien said as the top two cards of Damien's deck was sent to the graveyard by Garoth, Lightsworn Warrior's effect. And one of that card was Wulf, Lightsworn Beast.

Damien grinned as he said, "Wulf was one of the top two cards from my deck sent to the graveyard by my Garoth's effect! And Wulf's effect reads, "This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. When this card is sent from your Deck to the Graveyard, Special Summon it, so I get to Special Summon Wulf, Lightsworn Beast!"

Wulf, Lightsworn Beast appeared into the field as he roared.

Mnemosyne said to Gaia, "Oh, my wielder knows what his doing, so no worries, your wielder seems to underestimating mine. Kind of like your attitude, yes? **Laugh** Just kidding, by the way....have you seen any of those imbecile Gods yet?"

[Spell Master]

"So I'm facing a hot shot warrior and some mongrel pup? Heh, seems like this will be easier that I thought. My turn, Draw!" Looking at his hand, Nero selects one and shouts, "I summon my Razer Rat Unicorn in attack mode!" A large rat like creature with sharp claws and a horn at the top of it's head appeared. "Once this monster is summoned to the field, I can add 1 "Horn of the Unicorn" from my deck to my hand." Taking a card from his deck and adding it to his hand, Nero continues, "Now I activate the Field Spell, Sacred Tree of Life!" A large Tree started to hover over them while glowing immense of light at the base. "This card increases Earth type monsters defense points by 1000 and by sacrificing a creature, I can increase my life points by its defense points. But I'm not done yet, I activate the Equip Spell card Sudden Rage to my Giant Soldier of Stone. This Spell card switches the attack and defense of the equipped monster and attack twice during the same battle phase. My Stone soldier had 3300 defense points so now thats his attack points. I attack your two monsters and destroy them!"

Gaia got a little angry that Mnemosyne said that her wielder was the same as her, but then realized that she was right. She then said, "[color="#00FF00"]I haven't SEEN any of the gods, but I do know that Poseidon is here[/color]."
