About 40 years ago, humanity fled their dying planet and drifted into space, not knowing what the future had in store for them. Many were left behind on Earth, to fend for themselves and attempt to survive the end, it is unknown what happened to these people. The fleet of human vessels was captured by a troop of wandering brigands. Seeking to make a profit out of their discovery, the took them to a remote sector of the galaxy, a lawless region of space called the great unknown, for no vessel that wandered into it made it out with their crew. In that region, a popular form of entertainment was to watch other beings battle to the death, like the ancient gladiators of Rome. These warriors were revered and worshiped by the masses, as gods. Humans were soon accommodated among the citizens of this space, however some humans were found to be exceptional warriors for their race. The men who ran this show, the Graag Holovision Network, gave these men and women an ultimatum. Have their entire race slaughtered, or participate as contestants in the bloodiest, most dangerous, and highest rated Holovision program, WAR ZONE.[/spoiler]

- All RP and YCM rules apply.
- No flaming other people, your character can trash talk other characters, but that's it.
- No Godmodding. You will for the most part be battling NPCs unless stated otherwise, post in the OOC thread whenever you plan to kill one or more and we'll discuss the little details like how and when. When killing User controlled characters, ask the user and discuss it amongst yourselves whether or not the character will be killed. Then tell me about it so I'm not left in the dark.
- Think of this as you would think of an RP based on WWE, WAR ZONE airs weekly on Holovision, but there are daily matches which are aired via network access which will mainly involve NPCs and do little to the RP, other than a bit of entertainment, so during the week your character will stay in his or her assigned quarters, but you can talk with other characters before or after their match since they will (usually) only have one match per night. I'll PM you every once in a while to tell you about storyline details, such as rivalries or alliances formed as parts of subplots.
- There are two types of scenarios in WAR ZONE called Eras. Modern and Early. Modern deals with firearms and explosives. Early is pretty much close quarters and all its gory glory, the only exception to this is the bow, which can be used in Early scenarios. You choose which type of scenarios your character will play in the App.

Nearly identical to humans, the only difference being that their eyes emit a bright light, not strong enough to hurt others' eyesight though.

*Posted stats are on average for each race, your character may be Kraggesh and have a higher intellect than an Ok' Mo-Nai, that goes for physical abilities as well, Humans can be as strong as a Scourge. Keep it realistic though.[/spoiler]
- Humans, Necroids, and Solarians have special units called Goliath. Goliath are gene-boosted and have physical abilities roughly 3 times higher than a normal member of said species. Goliath however are larger, have weaker armor and exposed heads. You can choose to be a Goliath, however you will be for the most part disliked by the crowd and have the odds stacked against you. But the network loves a good bad guy, so your character will make more money depending on how much antagonism you provide to other characters.
- I will be controlling each of your characters briefly as they walk into the teleporter where they will transported into the arena that was chosen by the randomizer, I will also provide a description of the arenas once the characters have entered.
- It is not mandatory to kill any other character in Early scenarios, which usually take place on the spot and your characters are not transported to other areas.
- Modern battles require teams, the teams will consist of NPCs that you will control until your characters have made allies, then they will be thrown into the battle as well.
- It is in the space age, but the firearms are just that, there are no lasers or anything like that, just standard firearms like those on Earth.
- Modern combatants will wear a uniform depending on their team as well as any armor the user may want, Early combatants will wear light armor so as to make the bouts more interesting and fast paced.
- Once I get a few members I will establish a shop where your characters can get new weapons, ammunition, and items that can be used in battle such as first aid kits, land mines, etc.
- I will need a co-host. If you're interested, PM me an NPC battle. I'll choose the one which I think is better out of the ones I receive and the person who made it will be co-host. Afterward, I may ask people to make NPC battles since I don't think I can make all of them. Just PM me the battles once they're done and I'll post them.
