Shalltear Bloodfallen
I recently made the mistake of googeling Slender Man and reading through all the stories about him. I´m now creeped out beyond reality since I´m such a wuss regarding scary stories. However, the Slender Man also sparked my imagination and I´m itching to make a story about or atleast involving him. And this is an excelent opportunity for me to try writing in a new genre
"Please go away" Sam thought to herself while silently crying, trying as best as she could to regain control over her mind and body even though the circumstances probably would recommend that she stayed where she was. Hidden beneath her bed in her scarcely decorated room. Until recently, the room had been completely silent and Sam had been asleep, but a soft knock on her bedroom window had cut through the silence and rudely awoken her. At first, she had settled with just checking her alarm clock, a little thing that was designed similar to the early versions with bells except for being painted red, it was painted silver and it had a picture of an eagle that covered the numbers 10 and 2 with its wings. She turned over, and attempting to go back to sleep. But, the sound of someone knocking on the window, this time with regular force, returned. Due to her room being relatively small, Sam had decided to put the bed almost directly next to the window, and thanks to that, Sam only had to turn around to get a glimpse through the closed shutters of what was outside. She saw a quick glimpse of a pale face, lacking every feature except two hollow eyes and a thin mouth, and wearing a black suit. From its back, what looked like at least three or four black tendrils could be seen, clearly holding a tight grip around the window frame and one being used to knock. Sam thought she was dreaming and rather violently shaked her head, attempting as best as she could to wake up. The thing did not go away. It was at this point her blood went ice-cold with the late realization that her room was on the third floor, so even if the thing was real, it had to be pretty tall to reach the ground, something it clearly didn´t according to how it looked. Out of fear, she dove in under her bed, praying to God that the thing didn´t see her. People in the town used to tell stories of a pale man, wearing a suit, who kidnapped children from time to time by climbing in through their bedroom window. Sam did not however believe in these stories. The stories about the pale man where often only brought up by drunken men that wanted to scare the other people in their presence. And thanks to that, Sam had grown a strong doubt that it was true, a doubt that now came crashing down. As she lied there, silently crying and praying for God to protect her, the knocking suddenly stopped, but only to change place seconds later. This time, it came from her door, and her door was opening. "Saaam" A shrill voice softly called out her name. "Saam" The door slowly opened wide and Sam saw a hint of a man, wearing a black suite, standing in the doorway. A shriek of pure terror cut through the night air, awakening the closest neighbors. By the next day, the new had gone public for the rest of the town. Sam, a fourteen year old student, was missing from her home and with no traces pointing towards the fact that she ever left the building. Two days later however, her body was found hanging from a tree in the nearby forest, and with heavy damage and wounds on her internal organs, some even appeared almost surgical judging by the precision. What people didn´t notice was the heavy fog that just the day before Sam´s disappearance had rolled in and then disappeared the day after.
