Name: Reload

Type:Quick-play Spell

Effect: Add your hand to your Deck and shuffle it. Then draw the same number of cards that you added to your Deck.

Name:Magical Mallet

Type: Normal Spell

Effect: Choose any number of cards from your hand and shuffle them into your deck. After, draw the same number of cards shuffled in.

Which one do you think is better. I nominate Magical Mallet because you can choose which card to return to the deck. I rate it 9/10.

I rate Reload 8/10 because you have no choice to return all the cards to the deck.

Really, they're both only passable cards, as they both result in a minus 1. I can see the use for them, but there is a reason they aren't generally played. Besides, most good duelists prefer to have their cards in the Graveyard than in the deck. If your hand is being shuffled back in, than you can draw those cards over again. For this reason, Card Destruction is far superior. If you have something that you want in the Graveyard, awesome. If you just have cards that have become completely dead, you don't want to draw them again.

Now, Magical Mallet is more versatile, in a way, but generally Card Destruction is a better choice. If for some reason Dark World becomes Tier 1, than Magical Mallet will surpass Card Destruction, because you can get a new hand without activating your opponent's effects. If hand disruption becomes popular again, than Reload has a use, because you can preserve the cards that you care about by adding them to your deck. But until either one of those events occur, don't expect to be using these cards particularly often.

I agree with this guy. But, if they ever release a card that's like the Magical Mallet version of Card Destruction, that will be a good card, and might become an instant staple.

Dude, don't even go near Quag's Exodia deck, or basically Quag in general, seriously.

-_-

Magical Mallet owns, but is owned by Vortex Trooper. (Luckily I have it)

Of course, Morphing Jar is a pain in the ass, but serious pwnage, by the most elite, however, of course.
