Hydra of Ages
Question- what qualifies as Sanctified Ground? Are say, Muslim Mosques and Hindu Shines also safe from demons? And if they are, does this extend to any place that people find ritually significant, even if it isn't technically religious?
Tokyo Duel
Basically Jewish and Christian churches and / or sites are counted as "holy". Not to be racist, but I'm just going to say that Armageaddon caught up with basically every Muslim. If your character is Muslim, then he'll be an exception. I just did this to avoid complications... legolover09
I'm curious to what you will do with Shin leaving.
GreyCat
Leon will grit his teeth and call him back. The added fire power of the ship will come in handy for the test of his detector.
Renzoku Kira-
I think I might be the only one who isn't yelling at Shin about the roof.
I'm just trying to figure out how this works. Generally, most fiction that works with the 'Sanctified Ground' angle rolls with the 'any place people deeply believe is a safe haven develops a barrier against the incoming hoard'. Also...Jewish and Christian but not Muslim? Weird. If you're saying that places dedicated to Yaweh (the Semitic God) gain the protection, Mosques are dedicated to Yaweh as well (Muslims have this stigma against actually saying the name of God- the word 'Allah' is basically a description rather than a name. They worship the same God as the Jews do). Actually, I was trying to figure if my character could have used a Disco Club as his base of operations in the past- since the dance floor is as holy to him as a religious shrine is to anyone else, and theoretically would have the same type of barrier- well, maybe a weaker one, but same concept. Renzoku Kira-
Wait I thought Mosque are not counted as a Holy Place for the Muslims or so my teacher and school book said. Well most places in the area are destroyed, and now the church is crumbling so does it matter this much.
Azphreal
Actually, I was trying to figure if my character could have used a Disco Club as his base of operations in the past- since the dance floor is as holy to him as a religious shrine is to anyone else, and theoretically would have the same type of barrier- well, maybe a weaker one, but same concept.
That's actually a rather good idea. Only problems are is that some of our characters don't give a !@#$ about anything else, and so notheing will be 'holy'. Plus, that could be massively abused. If one of us had a human mole or a geologist as a character, they'd be fine anywhere.
Renzoku Kira-
Phoenix spy skills failed in that conversation.....Is everyone else still yelling at shin while Aiden, Bryson, and now Shade are over here talking by the demons.

Tokyo Duel
Bah...you guys post a lot. I deleted my e-mail not even three minutes ago. Now seven posts filled my inbox in the OOC thread XD And at Hydra, you could have a disco club, but it would NOT have a barrier. And I suppose that Muslim things could be around; but...bah I don't study a lot. =/ Anyways I'm stuck on what to post for now. =/
GreyCat
If crosses hold demonica at bay, can you erect a temporary barrier with enough of them?
