Second of all, one is a cartoon beat up aimed at young children (enjoyed by all ages I'm sure, but the target market is young children). The other is an eighteen rated bloodfest. Thats like comparing Hannah Montana and Slayer. Given the choice out of Tekken, Street Fighter, and Mortal Kombat, I prefer Kombat as it's easier for novices to pick up and get straight into versus matches with and have close fights, where as the other two controls are hard to master for the passive player. If Snake had his guns instead of explosives (you'd think grenade launchers and mortars would be more violent than guns), it might've worked.
