DARKPLANT RISING
I said this before, and Roxas approved. I'm sure the Moderator Forums have a thread based on it if he hasn't forgot. So how's it going Mods? Just tell me how it's going under.
Smesh
Pft. We can't even see who haves us reps anymore.
Embittered Moon
I think we should get notifications for reps. This is definetly a good suggestion...
Night
The old reputation system was a lot better. There was a reason to give reps. The whole point of the reps was so that members could feel a sense of accomplishment when they achieve a high level of reputation. Now, in order to view a persons reps you have to go on to there profile. Who has enough time for that?
Yankee
I'll end this here, sadly. There is nothing we can do. YCMaker has no intention of bringing the old system back. As I have told other members, this is sadly not a democracy, it is a dictatorship - run by YCMaker.
General Smiley
The only problem that I had with the old rep system was that any time I ever negged someone, they would get all of their friends to neg me back as much as they could, and soon my rep would be back down to zero. Even after my contacting mods about it, it still went on, and nothing was ever really done. I actually prefer this rep system, becuase now if I neg someone, I don't have to worry about getting another 50 negs from their friends. But thats just my opinion. Flame Dragon
This is one of several things the mods have brought up in the mod forums. Part of the problem might be that we CAN'T get reasons for the reps anymore, but YCMaker should at least give back the ability to see where our reps are coming from cause we know he can do that and just doesn't seem to care enough to give that ability back.
Yes, this would be problem solved. So, we could go to that post and see who did it. And its true that YCMaker doesn't care about this, he would only care if all members negged him in all posts, he DOESN'T CARE ABOUT US AT ALL ! And I think another admin. is needed, and this is with Falling Pizza.

We don't even know why he doesn't give Falling Pizza full administrator access, and it isn't our business to know. And I sincerely doubt it would bother him if he got negged. His role is not to the forum, it is to the Website itself and the CardMaker. And from everything I'm seeing, the Guest hits have been higher than ever. Ergo- the purpose of this site is fulfilled and then some. That being said, I would like at least to know who repped you. A reason, not so much. Since it feels good getting rewarded for random reasons sometimes.
.Ash
It IS possible to see who has repped you. If you click on the number icon of a post that has been repped, it shows who it was, and if it was a neg/+rep. Here's an example: Now, it can be tiresome to track down who repped you and why, but it is at least possible to find out who it was. Renzoku Kira-
I hate how when i want to find what post i got a rep for I must go through all of my post to figure out which post i got the rep for. You don't even know why you got it. That needs to change its a small change, but it not going to cause much damage. Maybe when a rep is given you keep the user hidden, and just show the reason why it was given. If that happened you don't have to worry about being neg attacked by a noob and his friends. Anbu-of-Sand
I'll be honest, I like this Rep System better then the old one. Most / Majority of YCM is quite lazy, and wouldn't feel like using the old Rep System where you had to leave a reason why you gave that Neg / Pos. Rep on that person's profile. With this way, it's much more faster and easier to do. The only thing that bugs me is like what the thread (somewhat) says, a list that shows where you have been given a Negative or Positive Rep, and perhaps a higher Positive / Negative Rep Per Day Ratio. (6 : 2 perhaps). Even though it might lead to Rep Spamming, but hardly anyone does it anymore in my opinion.
Kuri
Why would YCMaker go back to Mybb software if he payed about 160$ on this software which has probably more potential than he allows it. But I'm sure there is a plugin that allows people to view the reps from the user's 'semi-bio thingy' <--------This So hopefully at least that will be implemented. But rep notifications WOULD be awesome. I want that so I can track down where I get my reps.
