"What the hell do you mean by 'loser has to leave this beach'?" Caden demanded. "But...I need to burn off some stress, so I can take it out on you" he stated, activating his duel disk. "Well, since you want to observe me, I won't make it easy..." he exclaimed as he drew a card. "Now, I'll start by ending my turn" he sneered at the stranger. "Now, let's see what you can do, because observing me at this point is useless" he thought as he placed the drawn card in his hand without looking at it.

"Well then it’s my turn. I draw, and I place one card face down. Then, I will summon Blizzard Dragon who has 1800 attack and 1000 defense in attack mode. Now my Blizzard Dragon will attack your Life Points directly bringing you down to 2200 Life Points."Aiden said as he smiled by the damage his dragon has caused. "With that attack I will end my turn, but I really hope you begin to put up a fight. If not you will lose next turn."

As the smoke from Blizzard Dragon's attack cleared, Caden appeared unharmed (LP: 4000) with a blue and red golem in front of him. "You fell for it..." Caden whispered. "My Ruby-Sapphiric Golem Special Summons itself when you declare a Direct Attack" Caden explained, as two lights on the golem started glowing - one red and one blue. "In addition, my Golem gets a Ruby Counter and a Sapphire Counter, but you shouldn't worry about them yet..." Caden declared as he began his turn.

"Well, it's my move then" Caden stated, picking up another card from his deck. "Come forth, Cosmic Gem Amethyst Charger!" Caden called, as a beast with several gem-cannons appeared. "When Amethyst Charger is summoned, I can discard a Cosmic Gem monster to draw 2 cards!" he explained, sliding a card into a slot on his duel disk. He proceeded to pick up two more cards from his deck. "Now, Cosmic Gem Ruby-Sapphiric Interceptor Golem will attack your Blizzard Dragon" The monster fired several blue and red shards at the stranger's monster. "Next, Amethyst Charger will attack you directly! Now, I'm placing 2 cards face-down. That's all this turn" Caden said, ending his turn.

Desna drew his last pathetic card, and started laughing. In fact, he actually keeled over in laughter, sounding like he was having trouble breathing.

V told Hiro. [color=#800080]"I am a creature not of this world, or even of this universe, but from another Earth, in another universe that is similar to yours, but also much different. I am the daughter of a Signer and a Dark Signer, created when both were active. I am neither living nor dead, but simple existing. I am a receptacle of dark energy, a battery of shadows, an embodiment of pure darkness, yet I fight against those who dare to use the power given to them or the power they covet to hurt others. But the most important thing that you should know is that I have been assigned to protect these 'Reverse Gods' from the likes of you!"[/color]

Juliet slowed due to the shadows V had sent her way. Then stopped when Jason drew up on his duel runner. She smirked. "He did have a few interesting monsters with fun effects, but I managed. He was a bit of trouble at the beggining, however. Overall, weakling." She pointed back at the battle field. Endmion, who had been creeping up behind, ducked behind a tree so Jason wouldn't see him.
"Jackson himself is back there. Knowing how much you want to kill him, I let him off lightly. Unlike some of his mates." She told Jason. She then waved her hand, and a black duel runner, with patterns of flouroscent blue striped across the side, appeared. She got on.
"Time to go back to-"
Juliet cut off when she heard a sound behind them, like a twig being snapped under someones foot. She spun around. Endymion, with his raven black hair, was slightly harder to ee then most, but Juliet knew he was there. Hopping off her duel runner, se advanced, and grabbed his collar. Endymion struggled, but stopped when he saw a close up of the woman's face.
"M....M-mother?"
Juliet dropped him in surprise. Taking his chance, Endymion sprinted away into the darkness of the trees.

Jason stared intruiged. He knew he probably should of run back and taken Jackson's lifeless body though he was still wondering. [i]Mother, I didn't know she had a kid, this is just weird[/i] he thought. During this raid a lot of weird things have happened. Though in the end very few people have lost. Though the Twilight Invaders were winning. Vengance filled his body. He wished he could kill Jackson now, though he knew he had to do it in a duel. "Wait you have kid, who the hell is he," asked Jackson surprised by the fact that there was a kid right there. [i]Should I duel her or shouldn't I[/i] he thought to himself

Lucia raised an eyebrow at her opponent's nearly insane laughter. That either meant he had gotten something incredibly good or he knew he was going to lose. Actually, either seemed rather likely at this point, but she waited for the laughing to subside for a moment. "Something wrong?" she asked finally, crossing her arms but watching him with a serious expression. "I can't tell if you're celebrating a good card or suffering an emotional breakdown on the verge of defeat."

And she was becoming aware that the night was passing, and she really didn't want to be out here too much longer. He just had to make a move.

"My Life Points are only weakened a little, but thats still not a loss yet. DRAW. This card will really help me out. I summon Decoy Dragon in attack mode. Next I will activate Card Destruction. Now with a brand new hand for us both I can do some damage. For now in my Graveyard are two level 7 Dragons. So if you dare attack my Dragon you will turn the tables on yourself."Aiden said knowing that his Dragon can't be touched this turn. "I now place this one card face down just so you don't try to kill my Dragon with a third monster. Anyways I end my turn, but if you don't mind would you tell me your name since I could swear to Ra that I have seen you before." Aiden still couldn't think of where he has seen this duelist before.

Desna finally calmed himself and shut off his Duel Disk. His face-down cards and his monster faded away from his side of the field, and the damaged Ener-D Cancelers flickered and vanished. He pulled out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter, and lit one of them, which he subsequently started smoking. [color=#FFA500]"Kid, you got some incredible luck, and I commend you for that, but make a note that I did not surrender. In fact, to be honest, if you look in your dueling records once you get back, this duel will have never taken place. The Duel Disk yours just uplinked with to duel against never existed. I do not exist, and neither do most of the cards I played."[/color] He put his sunglasses back on and turned around. [color=#FFA500]"So if you want to savor and relish your victory over a non-person in a duel that never happened, be my guest."[/color] He waved over his shoulder and started walking off again.

"I'll tell you if you can beat me..." Caden sneered. "But it all ends here..." he swiped a card from the top of his deck. "Now, I activate the Trap Card Cosmic Barrier Orb! This card will protect all my Cosmic Gem monsters as long as I control 2 or more!" Caden explained as a crystalline, bluish colored barrier surrounded his monsters. "Now, while I control a Cosmic Gem monster, I can Special Summon my Cosmic Gem Emerald Mantis, who comes into play with 1 Emerald Counter on it!" A green, crystalline insect appeared out of a spiraling vortex, and it started glowing green. "Now, Emerald Mantis' effect activates. by removing an Emerald Counter from it, I can select a Cosmic Gem monster I control, and that monster can attack you directly this turn! I select my Golem, who will attack you directly (ATK: 2600)" Caden exclaimed as the blue and red golem shot its colored shards at the stranger.

As Aiden received the attack by the creature the pier started to shake. He was able to stand up, and look at the duelist who beat him. The pier started to break into pieces. The area under Aiden collapsed, and he was just hanging on by one wooden board. When he looked up at the duelist he remembered where he saw him before. "YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS CADEN! Thats right I remember where I saw you, but don't worry I won't tell anyone why you were sitting here hiding from the world. You may think this is a victory for the good of the Academy, but now when we gain power you are the first target on my list to destroy."Aiden said this as the board finally broke. He seemingly fell to the ocean below, but he set up the portal right below him. He was teleported back to the hideout where he fell right landed right next to his duel runner.

"Those portals....the Twilight Invaders..." Caden thought. He glared down at the duelist before turning back to leave. "Yeah, well good luck with that..." he spoke softly as he started walking out of the harbor. As he reached the beach, he quickly made his way back to the Obelisk Dorms. Once he got back into his room, he quickly did a background check of the duelist he just faced before reporting the duel and the duelist to Raize. "Raize, there's another Twilight Invader on the island...he doesn't attend the school since the database has no information on him..." Caden started. Then, he completed the data checklist on his PDA-like device. "Deck Type: Dragons....height: average....hair color: greenish-black, etc."

Juliet said nothing to start with. Her son Endymion had been a forbidden topic. Most didn't even know she was married, much less had a kid! And Jason probably could tell Endymion was a "good guy". That simply made Juliet's life hell.
"Umm....." She finally spoke. "That boy was my son, Endymion. Clearly he goes to this Academy, and is defending the Reverse Lords. Another unfortunate problem." She tried to regain the usual evil edge in her voice, but it seemed flimsy, barely disguising her shock.
Endymion was alive. First shock. He was with the good guys. Second shock. He'd recognised her despite having not seen her in however many years. Third and final shock. Too many for one night.
"Let's go." She said finally, jumping back on her duel runner.

Endymion staggered behind a tree and flopped onto the grass. Some twigs cracked noisily under his landing, but he didn't care. He'd just had the shock of his life. His mother. After all these years. And judging by what he'd seen when she dissapeared into shadow she had knocked the other student unconcious. He supposed he should go back and get that student, and the other, back into the academy. But a moment's peace was required. To ponder. What he'd told V about his mother the night before, he hadn't done. He hadn't given his mother the apology he wanted to. Fear had blanked it from his mind. A pity. Not that confessing would make much difference.
But he decided he should go fetch the unconcious students from the field. He stumbled to his feet, and trotted away.

Jason Accelerated the Duel Runner and was driving towards the hideout where he would take Juliet. He accelerated the Duel Runner faster through the forest avoiding the tree's. He still wanted to vs Jackson though he knew he could do that later in the mean time he just had to get his head straight. [i]She has a son, I can't believe it Juliet has a son[/i] all thought's like that swirled through his head. Jason then said, "So you have a son, who is the father?" The answer to this question would be very intresting

[b]"And that is why you ask me if I am you enemy before you ask my name?"[/b] Hiro looked away from her eyes and at the tree behind her. [i]"Some one from a different earth? ... well... at least she still knows who her parents were, and why it is that she has her power, and why she doing exactly what she is doing." [/i] Hiro thought, his breathing became slower. His eyes in the mask molded slowly into the mask as they transformed, they became red circles insted. Hiro looked away and removed his mask. "You have no reason to fear me... I am also a student here, I do not wish harm to the students. Now, my name is Hiro, what is yous?"

V grinned at Hiro. [color=#800080]"What? Did you think that you could lie to me? You are simply masquerading as a student, waiting until the invasion to make your move. Why else would you have a mask if not to conceal your identity from the rest of the student body, including any friends you might have."[/color] She then raised her hand, and a purple mark that looked vaguely like a coiled spiny dragon erupted on her chest. A bubble of shadow engulfed the two until a glowing purple field appeared below them, giving them solid footing and a light source. Upon further inspection, the field they were standing on seemed to be made of a two-dimensional spiral of energy with various runes etched into it. [color=#800080]"Alright. Let's play a Shadow Game. Choose a monster from your Deck."[/color]

A stunned silence took hold of Lucia after this announcement, and she said nothing until Desna had disappeared from sight. "Oh what the hell!?" she snapped, not quite a scream, but louder than she expected. She quickly took a breath, already turning back towards her dorm again, deactivating her own disk and placing the cards back into the deck box at her hip. "That means I won, but the victory doesn't mean anything," she grumbled. On the bright side, she reasoned, it did fit her theory that one duelist would do what twenty at once couldn't: hold their own and maybe even win.

It wasn't until she was back at her dorm that she realized just how worn out she was...and there were probably classes to look forward to.

Hiro turned back, his eyes were still red dots. "How can you understand me, when I can't understand myself?" Hiro asked as his favorite card floated to his hand. Dark black dots floated out around Hiro and red mist floated around his mask as he dropped it to the ground. A straight red line ran down his right eye. He turned the card to reveal it to V. "My favorite card is the Hero of Dark realm, all the creatures look up to it as their savior. No such monster exists anywhere else, this card is a one and only kind of deal. Its mystery is as cloudy as my mind, Blood Red Dragon is simply out of your league!" Hiro said, his voice grew a dark back-accent in it. His soft blue hair grew darker and slightly longer. "What Shadow game are we going to play?" Hiro asked, he grinned.

Vicky chose a card from her Extra Deck. [color=#800080]"I choose [url=http://yugioh.wikia.com/Dark_Witch_Girl]Dark Witch Girl[/url]. She is rather useful in my deck for reasons that will shortly be revealed, and her effects are top-notch, as well as useful in a pinch. Plus, my mother gave it to me."[/color] She placed the card back in her Extra Deck. [color=#800080]"Now, the Shadow Game is rather simple. As you lose Life Points, you experience real pain, but there will also be something special involved that you will find out later on..."[/color] She then pointed at Hiro. [color=#800080]"Now, would you like to start, or shall you be a gentleman and let the lady go first?"[/color]

Hiro's mask flew to his face and his aura became completely black mist with larger black bubbles slowly rising from the ground. His hair became spiky, not soft, and almost black with light blue stand of hair floating around. His duel disk became red as he set his deck in and replaced his Blood red Dragon back into his extra deck. [b]"You should know that I like to go first in any duel!"[/b] Hiro said, drawing his five cards. [b]"I draw!"[/b] He said, taking his draw phase. [i]"This hand is slightly different than my usual hand... I will have to use my cards wisely!"[/i] Hiro thought. [b]"I use the continuous spell card Floating Castle of Dark Realm, and activate its effect to special summon Hollow Innabitant of Dark Realm!" [/b] He set his cards quickly and violently. [b]"I tribute my face up monster to normal summon one face down monster and end my turn!" [/b] Hiro looked through his mask and all he saw was red.

[Tokyo Duel]

Heero managed to stumble into the forest, where he saw two people going at it. He was twitching violently, but there was definitly something odd about this duel. Even an idiot like Heero knew that. Still, being the kind, yet unimaginily stupid, came near the two duelists. He smiled and waved at the two, then said, "Hiya! I'm Heero Tanaka, and I'm new here!" Of course, he didn't expect a response. He just wanted to see these two duelists give it all they had.

Raize was already standing. "So there's more of 'em, eh? Man, can't this island stay quiet for at least one year?" Raize said. "Can't be helped now." Raize said, turning to Caden. "And who was it you just dueled? He knew your name, but I didn't recognize him... Something else that we didn't know about dad, maybe? Or is it that other guy..." Raize thought over the possibilities in his head for a minute.

-MEANWHILE-

Saveedro looked down at Theban who had just fallen out of the portal. "Another failed attempt? Hmm... Well, we can't have that, now can we? So, here's what you can do. You can either go back, and recapture the younger kid, or you can meet this guy here." Saveedro said darkly, holding up a very crudely-made hammer. "I suggest you take the first option." Saveedro continued.

"[I]Oh crap.... That was NOT a question I wanted to hear.[/I]" Juliet thought as she accelerated her duel runner to match Jason's speed.
"Ummm....." Juliet mumbled. Realising Jason couldn't hear, she raised her voice slightly. "Joseph Spring. I somewhat doubt you would know him. He was part of our organization, but he left after Endymion defeated him. Haven't seen him since. Good ridance." The evil edge returned on the final two words, to Juliet's gladness. She never liked sounding sappy and good around her fellows.

Jason accelerated even more. He then had made it to the hideout. He drove straight in and then pulled over. He jumped off and looked around the base for people. He was still thinking he should of grabbed Jackson though he knew he had to beat him in a duel. Jason then yelled, "Hello anyone hear I found Juliet and she's hear with me now." [i]I can beat that kid, He doesn't stand a chance, the next time I see him I will beat him[/i] Jason thought about Jackson. He knew that he had to do it. For what he did to his parents.

Two purple stones with a strange triangular shape etched on them appeared and entered the stone on Exemplar's staff, which started to glow purple. (ME SC: 0 -> 2)

The field around them shifted from a floating castle above them to a strange city with glowing slots on its towers. (MCoE SC: 0) At the same time, two more stones entered Exemplar's staff, causing the purple glow to get brighter. (ME SC: 2 -> 4)
[color=#800080]"Next, I activate [url=http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Field_Barrier]Field Barrier[/url], protecting my Citadel and adding 3 Spell Counters to my field: 2 to Exemplar and 1 to my Citadel."[/color]
A giant purple stone appeared on one of the towers, and two more small purple stones entered Exemplar's staff, which was now glowing brightly. (MCoE SC: 0 -> 1) (ME SC: 4 -> 6)
[color=#800080]"I can now activate [url=http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Spell_Power_Grasp]Spell Power Grasp[/url], adding 2 Spell Counters to each of my Citadel and my Exemplar."[/color]
Two more giant purple stones appeared around the city while two more entered Exemplar's brightly glowing staff. (MCoE SC: 1 ->3) (ME SC: 6 -> 8 )
[color=#800080]"I will activate [url=http://ycm.wikia.com/wiki/Mana_Tap]Mana Tap[/url], sending all Spell Counters from Exemplar to draw 4 cards. Of course, due to her effect, she gets 2 more Spell Counters afterwards."[/color]
Exemplar concentrated and sent out almost all of the stones in her staff, which paired up and combined to make 4 cards. (ME SC: 8 -> 0 -> 2) Another giant stone appeared around the citadel. (MCoE SC: 3 -> 4) Vicky picked up the cards and placed two of them face-down. [color=#800080]"I end my turn."[/color]
