[PG-13] Neo Duel Academy: Twilight Invaders Arc 1 - The Approaching Invasion [Started/Accepting via OOC/IC Thread]

[i]Sextet is six...[/i] Lucia mentally noted, but kept a slightly blank expression on her face during the first part of the explanation. [i]Root beer kegger?[/i] she mentally wondered. [i]That would have been AWESOME to be a part of...[/i] She quickly shrugged that pang of disappointment away. That at least explained why there had been twenty students in the middle of the woods, and she really didn't have an objection to them losing duels to this guy.

"That's...frighteningly impressive," she conceded. She felt her cheeks heat up but tried not to get too flustered. "I'd say I'm pretty good," she said. Like anyone would say otherwise. Rule of Conservation of Ninjitsu said 20 to 1 odds were more in favor of the single person than 1 to 1.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

The man adjusted his glasses back to normal, then exhaled a cloud of smoke. [color=#FFA500]"Pretty good, eh? That's what the host of the kegger said, at least before I kicked his patsy white ass into next Thursday. His Jurrac Deck didn't stand a ghost of a chance against me."[/color] He then thought for a second and grinned again. [color=#FFA500]"However, I will make you a deal. If you can survive until the end of my 5th turn, I will surrender and you can go free. Sure, one of my colleagues will probably find you and duel you again, but I am willing to give you a chance, since you're so cute in that outfit."[/color] His strange Duel Disk activated, and he motioned for Lucia to go first. [color=#FFA500]"I will even let you make the first move."[/color] As he said this, four pillar-like devices with cylindrical bases and glowing sections along the sides of the pillar part, almost like they were Ener-D reactors, dropped from the sky and started rotating rapidly. [color=#FFA500]"Oh, don't worry about these devices. These are Ener-D Suppressors. They allow my dueling to remain...under control...and they also have an additional effect..."[/color] A purple and blue area surrounded the duo as copies of Speed World 2 appeared in both player's Field Spell Card Zones. [color=#FFA500]"Trust me. This makes the duel a whole lot more fun! Plus, you can use normal spells all you like without any penalty!"[/color]

Lucia blinked, feeling a small sense of unease at the deal. He actually expected her not to last five turns? Well, it was at least worth the effort to try, then.

"Uh, okay, sounds fair..." she said, activating her own Duel Disk, the deck shuffler activating and the Life Point meter rising to 4000. With a swift motion, she extracted five cards from her deck and looked them over quickly. [i]Okay, let's start things off with a bang then...[/i]

"I'll draw," she said, taking a sixth card and smiling. [i]Here we go.[/i] "I'll Summon Morphtronic Celfon!" A small machine in the clear shape of a Cell Phone appeared before her. (Lvl 1, 100/100) "Now, I activate Celfon's effect. When it's in ATK position, it dials a random number between one and six, and I pick up that many cards. Then, I get to Special Summon one Morphtronic that's among them and put the rest back into my deck."

Celfon's phone buttons glowed, the light bouncing between the numbers swiftly before stopping on 3 (actually did it randomly). "A three, so I pick up three cards." With her right hand, she took the top three cards from her deck and showed them briefly to her opponent as Morphtronic Scopen, Hidden Armory, and Machine Duplication. "I Special Summon Morphtronic Scopen!" (Lvl 3, 800/1400)

"Now, I activate Scopen's effect," Lucia continued. "When in ATK position, I can Special Summon a level four Morphtronic from my hand, such as Morphtronic Radion!" (Lvl 4, 1000/900) "When in ATK position, all ATK position Morphtronics gain 800 ATK, but that's not important as I tune my level four Radion and level three Scopen!"

Radion burst into a cluster of four stars, and Scopen separated into three rings. The cluster of stars formed into a line and passed through the center of the ring. With a slight smile, Lucia recited: [i]"Docking strength with courage to protect the world's peace! Synchro Summon! Envoy of love and justice, Power Tool Dragon!"[/i]

A yellow mechanical dragon appeared, covered entirely in armor and it carried some sort of tool upon its arm. (Lvl 7, 2300/2500)

"I activate Power Tool Dragon's effect! Of three chosen equip cards, one is randomly added to my hand," Lucia continued, a card extracting from her deck. She showed it to her opponent. "Mist Body was chosen, and I'll equip it to Power Tool Dragon. So long as this card is equipped, Power Tool Dragon won't be destroyed in battle," she explained, as the yellow armor on the dragon was enshrouded in mist.

"In addition, I equip Double Tool C+D to Power Tool Dragon. Then I place one card facedown and end my turn," Lucia finished.

Alejandro, who had also awokened by the bomb sounds, found the bodies of around twenty students. Luckily they weren't dead, so Alejandro walked up to the one looking the least damaged and woke her up.

"Who's there?" She said, still only at half-consciousness.

"Alejandro, a Ra Yellow senior." Alejandro answered and helped the girl up. "Can you walk?"

"I think so..."

"What happened here?"

"A man... I don't remember..." She said, releasing herself from Alejandro's grasp and stood on her own legs.

"Go get help, I'll follow get the man!"

The girl nodded and ran as fast as she could with her hurt body towards the closest dorm, which would be the Obelisk one. Alejandro turned and ran into the forest, following his instincts to find the way. He finally reached a duel field between a girl and a blonde man.

"¿Eso lo se, supongo?" He said quietly to himself, keeping himself hidden in the bushes. [i]I was too late, someone got to him first.[/i]

[Blaze Of Honor]

[center][i]Midnight came, as did horror on the island. Smoke rose from all different sides, ascending to the sky. AJ woke up, shocked. He rubs his eyes and jumps out of bed, quickly dressing himself in jeans, an undershirt, and his yellow blazer. He swings on his courier bag, which holds his deck and duel disk, and runs out into the hall. Ra Yellow students are running out of the dorm in terror. Parts of the building were smoking and ablaze. Panicking, Evelyn runs with the crowd out into the open. As the yellow-jacketed duelists run towards the main school building, AJ splits off, running into the forest. He slides under a fallen tree trunk, and spots another Ra hiding in a bush. AJ crawls up beside him. He spots the duel ahead, but before getting involved in the viewing, extends a hand toward Alejandro.

"Hey, I'm AJ...Do you, by any chance, know what's going on here?"[/center]

[Renzoku Kira-]

Aiden was walking in the forest heading in the direction of the Duel Academy. He was going towards the school library to get a copy of the academy's map. As he was nearing the school he could see smoke rising in the distance. [i]This could be bad I will need a disguise or I will be easily noticed by students.[/i] He ran by a student laying on the ground, and stole his Obelisk Blue jacket. [i]This should do just fine, but now I just have to get past the security coded door.[/i] Aiden entered the library, and headed to the security door at the back of the library. He unlocked his briefcase, and removed a small computer. He plugged the computer into the doors security lock. "Okay let’s see what this code will be."Aiden said as he looked around the room. He heard footsteps coming from outside of the library, but had unlocked the door. As he entered the private document section of the library he looked for the map of the academy and the layout of the island. "It has to be here somewhere. Here it is. Now all I have to do is get out of the Academy."Aiden then turned, and escaped out of a window. He then takes off down a path which leads to an old abandoned hut. [i]This should make a good hiding spot.[/i] Aiden pulled out his phone, and called into the Invaders HQ. "I got the map of the school and the layout of the Academy Island. So we should have an easier time finding the cards." Aiden was told good work, and his boss hung up the phone. He was able to calm down, and take a little nap.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

The strange man drew his cards, and watched the girl execute her move. He seemed...bored...He drew his card and frowned. [color=#FFA500]"Well, you got off pretty lucky. I have a pretty crappy opening hand this time around. I Special Summon [url=http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Tech_Genus_Striker]Tech Genus Striker[/url] in Attack Mode!"[/color]
A blue-armored warrior appeared on his side of the field. (800 ATK, LV2)
[color=#FFA500]"And since he was Special Summoned, I can Special Summon [url=http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Tech_Genus_Werewolf]Tech Genus Werewolf[/url] in Attack Mode as well!"[/color]
A humanoid brown-furred wolf with a robotic arm appeared next to the warrior. (1200 ATK, LV3)
[color=#FFA500]"Time to Synchro Summon!"[/color]
Striker jumped into the air and became two rings, which Werewolf entered, becoming 3 stars.
[color=#FFA500]"Limiter Removal, Level Five. Booster Launch, OK! Inclination, OK! Ground Support! All Clear! Go! Synchro Summon! Come on! [url=http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Tech_Genus_Wonder_Magician]Tech Genus Wonder Magician[/url]!"[/color]
A pink-haired mage floated down from the Synchro Summon array, and giggled in delight. (1900 ATK, LV5)
[color=#FFA500]"Now for Wonder Magician's effect! Whenever she is Synchro Summoned, I can blow up a Spell or Trap Card on the field, and I will go with your Double Tool C&D!"[/color]
Wonder Magician sent a bolt of energy at the Equip Spell Card, blowing it up.
[color=#FFA500]"I Normal Summon [url=http://ycm.wikia.com/wiki/Tech_Genus_Beast_Mistress]Tech Genus Beast Mistress[/url] in Attack Mode!"[/color]
A beautiful rainbow-haired woman erupted out of the ground from a metallic flower. Her gorgeous body with a green tint to her skin was covered in metal petal-like plates, and she had a thorny whip. (1000 ATK, LV3)

Beast Mistress cracked her whip, and a strange being composed of two writhing bodies partially fused together, though it was hard to tell whether they were male or female, one which was white with black stripes, and the other wearing black with white stripes. Or was it the other way around? (800 ATK, LV2)
[color=#FFA500]"Time to Synchro Summon once more!"[/color]
The two became 2 rings and three stars.
[color=#FFA500]"Synchro Command! Limiter Removal, Level Five! Portal Aperture at 70% and increasing! OK! Go! Synchro Summon! Appear now! [url=http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Tech_Genus_Booster]Tech Genus Booster[/url]!"[/color]
A fiery giant with some sort of engine on its back dropped down onto the field. (2400 ATK)
[color=#FFA500]"Ready for the next part?"[/color] He asked, grinning.

"You Synchro Summoned twice in one turn and destroyed one of my cards and that's a BAD hand?" Lucia wondered, the power tool from her dragon's claws exploding upon the Magician's appearance. "Yeah, bring the next part on, then," she said, shrugging slightly. She couldn't imagine what he was planning to do at this point, but if so far had been any indication, she wasn't surprised by the loss of the other duelists.

Power Tool Dragon eyed the Synchros, content behind its misty armor.

"Yesterday had been torture for me. And tonights not getting any better. I didn't get to duel anyone i wanted too yet, plus I went to bed hungry." Muttered Yusuki as he hauled himself up from the ground. His back still hurt from the explosion which shot him backward during his duel with.. who was he exactly? [i]Whoever he was though, I can assure him that next time we duel, it will end differently.[/i] His train of thought was interrupted by the sound of people talking behind the bushes near him. One had a thick accent, but the other spoke fine. Ignoring them he continued his walk until he came upon the sight of a duel. [i]There![/i] he thought as the spiky hair clearly resembled the hair of the duelist whom actually defeated him. It seemed as though the girl whom he was dueling was trying to hold her own against her mighty opponent. "This time it'll be different." whispered Yusuki as he placed his deck in his duel disk, "Hey! You with the black shirt and goofy hair! I'm here for a rematch!" he shouted as he revealed himself from the shadows.

[i]You don't know where it is, or what it is, yet by defending this Academy YOU defend it.[/i] her words echoed through Jackson's head. [i]What on earth does she mean[/i] he thought to himself. The Academy either has something or is something which we are protecting. This is weird. He knew that he had to find out more. He needed to know what the twilight invaders are. He needed to know what they want. All of these answers could be solved easily. "Fine, Me and you are going to duel right now," said Jackson. As he stood there and turned on his duel disk.

The female sighed irratibly. "So be it then. We duel. I win, you end up like these [i]poor souls[/i]" She indicated the unconcius students.
"If YOU win, which I doubt, then I tell you what the Twilight Invaders are after. Then I leave. Do you agree to these terms?"
She took up a battle stance, and placed her deck, which glowed with a dark arua, into the deck hole, where it was promptly shuffled. Her duel disk activated, shining with blue lights.
"In any case, YOU can go first, since you are so eager to battle me."

"Ok I draw," said Jackson swiping the cards out of his Duel Disk. He looked at his hand. He knew that he could easily get one Synchro monster out on the first turn. "Ok while there are no cards on the field I can special summon one Legendary Flame - Bug of the Volcano," said Jackson as a bug appeared in the middle of the field. "Now I summon Legendary Flame - Reborn from the Flames," a zombie type beast rose next to the bug. "Next I activate the spell card Birth to Create," said Jackson. "Now this spell card allows me to special summon one level four or bellow Tuner Monster from my hand. I summon Legendary Flames - Synchron of the Flames," a weird looking creature arose next to the two other creatures. "Now by tuning my level 4 Reborn from the Flames and level 1 Bug of the Volcano with my level 3 Synchron of the Flames to synchro summon Legendary Flame - Sorcerer of the Lava, I end my turn,' said Jackson. He was feeling pretty good about his chances so far.

"I draw." The woman pulled out 1 more cards, adding it the 5 other cards she'd pulled out a moment ago.
"Now, I think I'll summon Infernity Dwarf!" A dwarf, clutching a fiery axe, took up a position in front of the woman.
"Now.... I don't feel like attacking this turn. So I skip my Battle Phase, and place one cards face down." The holographic image of a card appeared on the ground.
"I believe it is once again your turn."

"Ok lets get this started, Now I draw," screamed Jackson. He looked at his hand. He had three cards and they weren't very useful. "Ok by discarding one card from my hand I can bring back my Reborn form Flames," screamed Jackson. He tried to think about what he should do next though he knew that he could only do one thing. "Ok lets go Legendary Flames - Sorcerer of the Lava attack Infernity Dwarf," screamed Jackson. He then realised that the face down card. [i]Oh this could end badly[/i] He thought to himself

"And here goes Mr 'I'm going to scream and rush into battle without thinking'" The woman laughed.
"Well. I activate my face down. Scrap Iron Scarecrow!" The face down card hologram flipped, and a steel pole appeared, with what seemd to be an old, rusted helmet balanced on top. Jackson's monster hit it, and bounced back. Like the plenty others the woman had versed before.
As soon as Jackson's monster returned to it's place the card flipped back to being a face down.
"I'll admit, foolish boy, you are smarter then the previous duelists. They attacked knowing that Scrap Iron Scarecrow was on the field. However you didn't know. However, you are to impulsive. A grave mistake. Especially when battling a Twilight Invader."
However, despite the woman's confidence, she eyed the other monster warily. It's ATK/DEF was much stronger than that of Infernity Dwarf. However, if her plan succeeded, that wouldn't be a hassle. Only a few life points, after all.

"To bad this is going to hurt, Reborn from the Flames attack Infernity Dwarf," screamed Jackson. The beast went up and defeated Inerntiy Dwarf. The Other Duelist lost 800 Life Points. "That's right," said Jackson. He looked at his hand now. "Now I set one card face down and end my turn," said Jackson. All that was going through his head was remember the Scrap Iron Scarecrow. Though he knew that he could get rid of it and win if he drew the right card next turn. He was hopping that she didn't draw a good card because that would end him

"My draw." The lady drew anything card. She smirked.
"This duel is already coming closer to it's end. With this card, I can speed up the process."
She held up a card. "I activate Fires of Doomsday! Now I can special summon two Doomsday Tokens!" Two small, black objects resembling hurricanes appeared on the field.
"And now, I tribute these two Doomsday Tokens to summon a more powerful beast. The one I need to ensure your doom. I summon, DARK TUNER NIGHTMARE HAND!"
The two hurricanes dissapeard, and were replaced by her new monster.
"Now the effect of Dark Tuner Nightmare Hand activates! Due to the fact I Tribute/Normal summoned it, I can specia summn 1 Level 2 or lower Dark Type monster from from mhand or Graveyard. So, come back Infernity Dwarf!"
The dwarf, armed with it's firey axe, appeared once again.
"Now THIS is the best bit. With thee two monsters, I can seal your fate. I can now Dark Synchro Summon my most powerful monster!" One of the monsters split into dark stars, digging into the holographic frames of the other.
"I know seal you fate. I summon, ONE HUNDRED EYES DRAGON!"
A dragon appeared, large and massive, a hundred eyes gleaming across it's scaley hide.
"One Hundred Eyes Dragon, ATTACK!"
The dragon lunged foward.

"I activate my Trap Sacrifice for Flames," said Jackson. "When this card is activated I can remove from play one Legendary Flame monster to negate a attack which was going to hit a Legendary Flame monster," the dragon was still coming forward. "I remove from play my Reborn from the Flames, to negate your Attack," said Jackson. He was lucky that he got out of that one alive. "Now look who's attacking without thinking," said Jackson. Finally he finished using his trap card and the battle continues.

The woman frowned. "Well played. I was wrong to underestimate you."
She smiled. "With that I simply end my turn."
Her duel disk glowed again, and One Hundred Eyes Dragon returned to her side sullenly, seeming to glare at Jackson with all it's thousand eyes.
The woman stared waitlingly at Jackson. "Your move." She purred. "Make the most of it. It may very well be one of your last"

"Draw," said Jackson. He had two cards in his hand and he only had one startegy left to keep his card in play. "Ok I summon Legendary Flame - The Golem of Doom," said Jackson. The giant golem appeared on the field. Then he looked over at his opponents side of the feild. [i]If I don't get a good draw next turn this is it[/i] he thought to himself. He knew he could survive only one more turn unless his draw was really good. "Now when you attack while Golem of Doom is on the field you cannot target any card but it, I end my Turn," he hoped this strategy could keep him around for another turn because if it couldn't he was screwed.

"Then it's my turn. Draw!" (SPC: 3) "Shooting Star Dragon's effect activates!" Raize said. "Each turn, I can check the top five cards of my deck! Shooting Star Dragon can attack a number of times equal to the number of tuners among the five cards!" Raize explained. "The first card!" Raize said, drawing the first card. "Tuner monster, Stardust Aura! The second card! Tuner Monster! Stardust Goldwing! The third card! Spell card, Stardust's Sparkle! The fourth card! Tuner Monster, Stardust Altarn! The fifth card! Trap card, Stardust Flash!" Raize recited, drawing each card, and revealing them. He then placed all five cards back into his deck, and his Duel Disk shuffled it. "Since 3 Tuners were drawn, Shooting Star Dragon may attack 3 times this turn! Go, Shooting Star Dragon! Stardust Mirage!" Raize declared. Shooting Star Dragon flew far off, then began to fly back towards the masked man's dragon. As it did, it split into three, one being tinted blue, another tinted red, and the third tinted yellow. "This won't beat you, but it'll leave you with only 100 Life Points!" Raize said.

"Well, it's back to me!" Caden shouted. (SPC: 5) "Twilight Aura Dragon's effect activates! By halving my Life Points, I can lock down all your Spell and Trap cards!" Caden shouted as the giant blue dragon released a blue stream of thunder, piercing each of Hiro's face-down cards with a bolt of lightning. (Caden LP: 2000) "Now, Twilight Aura Dragon will attack directly!" Caden commanded as a rainbow burst of energy split into hundreds of blasts which fired themselves at the masked man. "Now, if this works..." Caden thought, observing the masked man's reaction.

Alejandro looked at the newcommer and nodded.

"Hola, amigo!" He said quietly, not wanting the duelists to notice him. "I found a bunch of unconscious students in the forest, woke one of them up, sent her to get help and then followed the tracks here. That's where I found these two people dueling." He did a gesture with his head towards the duel. "I think that man was the one who beat the students, and by the looks of it he may beat up that girl too. That's why I'm here."

The woman snagged a card from the top of her deck. "I'll start this turn by summoning Infernity Necromancer!" A robed skeleton, witht the strangest green hair, appeared next to her eyed dragon.
"Next, I'll activate the spell card Double Summon! With this card, I can summon once more this turn. And I'll summon Infernity Beast!"
A hellhound, roaring and snarling, appeared by the woman's side.
"Now, you should be ready for endless pain I will inflict on you this night! One Hundred Eyes Dragon, destroy the foolish boys stupid Legendary Flames - The Golem of Doom!"
The eyed dragon instantly leapt foward, an slashed at the Golem with an eyed paw, smashing it to pieces.

"Now that that's done, Infernity Beast! Attack that other monster, Legendary Flames - Sorcerer of Lava!" The hound leapt foward, and was cast aside carelessly by the other monster. The woman didn't even wince as 900 Life Points were lost.
"With that, I place one card face down, and end my turn."

"Not unless it die's first," said Jackson. He drew a card from his deck. "Ok i activate the effect of Draw of Flames, this allows me to draw 3 cards though at the End Phase I have to discard every card in my hand," said Jackson. "I activate Draw for your Warriors, when this card is activated each player must draw the amount of cards they have on the field from there deck," said Jackson. "How do you like that now," said Jackson as he drew 1 card from his deck. He then stood there to see what she would do next.
