[PG-13] Neo Duel Academy: Twilight Invaders Arc 1 - The Approaching Invasion [Started/Accepting via OOC/IC Thread]

Jackson was running around Duel Academy. He couldn't find the Ra Yellow Dorm anywhere. He also was in the mood to Battle someone. He thought there would be some good duelists at the Ra Yellow Dorm though he knew that the best would be at the Obelisk Blue Dorm. He was running down all of the paths to try to find the dorm[i] he thought to himself. If only that stupid boat wasn't running late I would of made it to the Orientation Meeting and I would know where my dorm was[/i] He thought to himself. He ran still trying to find the dorm when he saw a guy and a girl Ra Yellow Student. "Hello I am Jackson, what's your names? and do you know where the dorm is?"

Lucia stared at Jackson for about three seconds, then at AJ, then very slowly at the yellow building positioned in plain view about fifty yards away. [i]Seriously, are they pulling a joke on me?[/i] she wondered. The meadow she was in was almost literally the Ra dorm's backyard, and yet two Ra students had just come up to her in short succession and asked where the dorm was.

"I'm Lucia, and..." she slowly pointed at the dorm building. "The invisible building right there, the one with yellow paint and the Ra dorm insignia...that's the dorm." [i]I half hope it's a female-only dorm just so I can make sense out of their selective blindness.[/i]

"Oh Cool," he said thinking about how much of an idiot he just was. He just really made a fool of himself. [i]Maybe she's a Good Duelist. Hum it would be fun to start dueling to make him not look like as much of a idiot[/i] He thought to him self. He was also looking at the other person. They were both clearly older than me. The Ra Yellow dorm didn't look as good as the Obelisk Blue dorm. He still thought there would be some good duelists in there. "Ok you want to duel?" said Jackson awaiting the response.

"Otro día at Neo Academia." Alejandro said and walked out of the Ra Yellow dorm. A breeze blew over the island and Alejandor's coat flapped in the wind. He looked around, there was some other Ra students there, among them a girl that Alejandro had learnt to know during his time at the Academia. She approached him, smiling.

"A!" She called. "Look at what I just got!" She showed him a card. A synchro monster. Alejandro smiled.

"I'm sorry mi amiga, but I have to go!" He said and ran away before she could oblige. WHen he was far enough away he turned and looked at the Ra house. "I'm getting way too much atención. At least people like me." He smiled, and kept walking, thinking about where the road might lead him today.

Lucia chuckled at the awkward, yet somewhat nonchalant response. At his challenge, something clicked. It was entirely possible that he had come over, introduced himself, and made an incredibly stupid question on purpose in order to get her attention and then challenge her to a duel.

"Yeah, I'm available to duel, if you want," she answered with a small shrug. She was already wearing her Duel Disk with deck in place, and it was an excellent way to pass some time and get to know one another. She clicked the button on her Disk to activate it, and she took a pace or two backwards to create more room between them. "You can start, if you want, unless you prefer the 'Ladies first' rule."

[center][i]AJ looked back and forth between the two Ra Yellows beside him as they prepared to duel. He brought his wrist up and looked at his duel disk, but more specifically the deck it carried. His home-made 'End of Days' deck had never been tested on anyone besides the other guys at the card shop in his hometown. He didn't take any chances with it on his test, as he wasn't sure if it was good enough to get him into the Academy. Evelyn clicks the button, turning on the duel disk. He takes several steps back and looks at Jackson and Lucia. [/i]

"Room for one more?"[/center]

Lucia blinked and looked over at AJ, delivering a soft smile. "Normally, I'd be all for that idea, but how about another time?" she said. "I'd really like to just see how my deck works out against one person at a time." She scratched the back of her neck thoughtfully. "Some decks can defend or attack multiple fronts with equal efficiency, but it's like our first duel of the year, so I'd rather stick to a basic duel. Maybe afterwards you can face one of us."

She turned back towards Jackson. "Ready when you are."

Endymion stared at the short girl whom had suddenly appeared in his small hiding spot. Then he stared back at the veiw. "Yes it is, isn't it." He responded. He took Ancient Fairy Dragon, and quickly placed it back in his deck, which he placed in his jacket pocket. "Hey." He asked suddenly. "What kind of deck do you battle with? And whats your name? Mines Endymion." He said. Endymion liked to learn about other decks frequently. He improved his knowledge, enabling him to become a better duelist. Exactly what he wanted. The stronger he was, the easier he could eventually challenge and beat his mother. If ever she showed. He hadn't seen her in years. He looked down a bit as he thought this, his black hair cloaking his face in shadow.

[i]So this is Neo Academy.[/i] Thought Heyru as he stepped onto the beach, surveying the building which is soon to be his new home. "I always thought it would be bigger." he said, chuckling at his own joke. Running his fingers between his hair, he slowly walked toward the Academy. As he stepped forward he looked down at his cards, reviewing his tactics and hoping someone there would be worthy enough of being his opponent. Even though he was in Slifer Red, it didn't mean he was weak. Being satisfied that his Gem-Knights were in order, he placed his deck in his duel disk, dusted off his denim jacket, and continued his march onward. All the while keeping his eyes peeled for any wandering duelists in which to defeat.

Hiro grinned, if the objective of this duel was to intimidate, then he wasn't doing his job. The attack hit Hiro and he grinned a bit wider. "Hmmm... I guess I'll have to do better than that to succeed... That leaves me at 1000, right?... My turn?" Hiro asked, a dark glimmer in his eyes. His face seemed taunting, a threat formed in his mind. But threatening the first duelist to out-play you will obviously blow your cover and make you look like a sore-loser. So, Hiro sighed and his face turned back to the soft smile. His blue hair waved a little.

"This duel is getting exciting. So how will play out your next turn." Delthor said smiling and chuckling at the same time. "Your deck specializes in using effects to Swarm and increase either other's power. A common strategy that i have seen before though i have not see the your deck for what it is yet. As this is the first time dark realm monsters have been used am i correct. Than you also have to take into count your opponent's field and movements. As one wrong move could be your last that is a principle of dueling. Though reckless strategies can pay off or backfire depending on how the situation is handled. Now go it is your move" Delthor said with confidence in his deck

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

The girl turned to Endymion, revealing that the whites of her eyes were black like the legendary Dark Signers. In fact, her odd purple-marked black clothing and a strange vibe that had been emanating from her, which had now increased, confirmed that she had dark powers. [color=#800080]"I am...V...that is all I can tell you..."[/color]

Meanwhile, Professor Wayne Jonas was walking along when he saw two Ra Yellow students, just like his guest dorm. [color=#FFA500]"Yo!"[/color] The huge African-American shouted as he walked up to the group. [color=#FFA500]"Any of you kids know how to get to this Ra Yellow dorm? Apparently, that's where I'll be staying during my time teaching here."[/color]

Endymion raised an eyebrow in curiousity, but didn't say anything more. [i]"Afterall, V may have reasons not to tell me anything. Just as I don't tell anyone about my parents being Twilight Invaders"[/i] He thought, semi-bitterly. Looking at her through is black hair, he noticed the Dark Signer like eyes. [i]"Or maybe...."[/i] He re-thought. [i]"She's secretly a bad guy, and wants nobody to know much about her."[/i] He shrugged mentally. [i]"It's none of my buisness anyway. Whys should I care?"[/i]

Hiro's plan came together quickly as soon as he saw the card he drew. He looked up at the duelist with a grin. "I normal summon another 'Blood Dragon Spawn of Dark Realm' and use his effect to special summon one 'Greketh, Dragon knight of Dark Realm'! But this isn't over yet, I play my last 'Floating Castle of Dark Realm'! Using its effect to special summon another 'Greketh, Dragon knight of Dark Realm'! I still have two more cards in my hand! I set a face down card in my Spell/Trap area and activate the field spell card called 'Dark Realm"!" He set his cards down quickly, all his monsters were in Defense mode. "I end!" He felt a specific feeling inside himself.

"Alright my turn. Draw. Now that i have come to my 2nd standby phase after Future Fusion's activate Five-Headed Dragon will now be Special Summoned.
Come king of the Dragons and elimate my for" A large dragon with five heads appears "Now go Red Daemon's Dragon Attack his blood dragon spawn with Absolute Powerforce" Delthor yelled as orbs of flame form around Red Daemon's hand as he charged the dragon spawn
"And don't forget when Red Daemon's Dragon attacks a Defense position monster after the damage step all of your defense monsters will be destoryed. So how will you respond to this" Delthor said chuckling

Hiro looked up at Delthor, for once, Hiro saw Delthor as a living person and not a object to use. "Mighty play Delthor... Mighty play... But I activate my trap card 'Undead Army of Dark Realm'!" The card image flipped to reveal the trap card. "The effect destroys all monsters on the field, but as a draw back, both players take damage equal to half the total attack points of the monsters that are destroyed by this effect... I'm positive that the total life points we lose will end this in a draw... Good luck next time, Delthor!" Hiro grinned.

V saw the look in Endymion's eyes. [color=#800080]"I know what you're thinking."[/color] She told him. [color=#800080]"You think I'm evil. The Other. An enemy. Something that needs to be stopped, or even destroyed, because I am an abomination."[/color] She turned her head away. [color=#800080]"It's not my fault that I was conceived while my mother was a Dark Signer!"[/color] She bitterly explained. [color=#800080]"It's not my fault that the Powers That Be decided that I was to be a paragon of darkness and evil! It's not my fault that circumstances caused this overwhelming darkness to awaken inside of me! At first, I wanted to be as awesome as my father and my uncles were, but I regret that fantasy. I am neither a hero nor a villain. I am not alive, but I am not dead. I am the ultimate compromise between opposites. A dark sorceress who uses her powers for good."[/color] She chuckled. [color=#800080]"Funny, isn't it?"[/color] She scooted closer to him, and asked. [color=#800080]"So, Endymion, what is with you?"[/color]

Delthor watched as both there Life pionts drop to zero ending the duel . Delthor laughed "Finally a duelist worthy of challenging me. It has been years since so one has even tied or much less defeat me. That was an excellent duel." Delthor lowered his duel disk and offer a hand shake to hiro "But do not let this tie go to your head as i can assure you that the duel would have ended soon seeing as both of us play in similar manner.

"Bring out the big guns... then ask questions later?... yeah, thats my favorite strategy... but about your comment from before..." Hiro took Delthor's hand and shook it. "How did you know about my Dark Realm monsters?" Hiro's eyes would've gone wide and he would have increased his grip on Delthor's hand, if he wasn't a spy. Hiro chuckled and let go of Delthor's hand and stood, waiting for his answer. In his head, he felt that some points were made, but not the one he had planned for. Hiro felt his last few breaths of air come out cold.

"Ancient Tablets speak of creatures similar to yours. The appearance in the tablets matched up and your opening move took me everything i needed by revealing one of you trump cards you also give away your strategy. However, I don't hid my strategy infact I show to see if my opponent can read the situation, adjust, and turn it into their favorite. Though only a few have done so." Delthor said than his hand was released from the handshakes "If you have questions about the tablets that speak of your creatures. I am afraid i do not have them are locked away in a tome that only I know of the save passage. But also with the writings of your creatures it also speaks of an unspeakable terror creatures so powerful that if in the wrong hands this world is finished. Though that is a conversion for another day. I beg you a do" Delthor said than walked off

Hiro frowned and returned to him dorm, it was getting late. He lay on his bed, his clothes still wraped around his body like he was a pencil and they were a hand-towel. He looked up and the roof. "Tablets?... Of my monsters?... This could hold secrets of my past... I should check them out after I achieve my Reverse Lord..." Hiro told himself quitely as he drifted off to sleep. He dreamed his normal one of flying over an empty abyss on top of a giant dragon. Its skin was the color of blood. A much more smaller version of this dragon flew beside them.

"I wonder who would be out here so late." muttered Yusuki, has he glanced up from his 'Fabled' cards, to see what looked like the light of a duel disk by the beach. "Maybe I could kick this year off by a moonlit duel." he said as he stood up, straightened his fathers jacket, and started toward the light. As he walked he could see the Ra Yellow dorm off in the distance, while the sea-side shack of the Slifer dorm was overlooking one side of the beach. Although he thought of himself as an excellent duelist, he knew that the only way to perfect his strategy was to duel. His train of thought was broken as he soon realized that another person was on the beach with him; and his duel disk was also at the ready.
"Hey." said Yusuki to the other duelist, obviously taking him by surprise. The other duelist appeared to be younger than him and was not wearing his Academy jacket, but a denim one instead. He also had chain bracelets around his wrists and (from what he could tell from the moonlight) red hair. Although Yusuki didn't know him, from what he could tell this could be a very interesting meeting.

"I didn't think of you as an ambomantion that needed to be destroyed!" Endymion protested. Her speech had taken him a bit by surprise, knowing what he was thinking, and then answering in such a way. Not to mention some bits of the speech were rather interesting. [i]"Her mother was.... A Dark Signer? wow..... that'd be kind of hard.... to be a good person whilst others think you are weird and evil...."[/i] With this thought, he regretted his previous one. He glanced at the sky briefly, and noticed that it was a deeper shade of blue than before. 'I better go. It's getting late." Endymion said, climbing down carefully. "See you later!" He called up to V, before jogging away towards the Obelisk Dorm.

A few minutes after Endymion started to head back, an ovoid shadow gained on him, dodging any light source, and eventually moved alongside him, matching his pace. A shape emerged out of the shadow, and formed int V, who simply walked alongside Endymion. [color=#800080]"Even though your deck is filled with light, you have a great amount darkness in your heart. I can smell it. It reeks of sorrow, disgust, and longing."[/color] She turned to him. [color=#800080]"Even though I have been instructed not to make any acquaintances with any member of the student body or the faculty, I feel like we are kindred spirits. You long for normal parents, yet life a relatively uneventful life. I have a regular family, or as regular as two famous people can get, but yearn for the chance to become an average human being. Could I...keep you company?"[/color]

Caden walked out of the dorm and headed for the forest. "This island is good for some things, I suppose..." he mumbled as he walked into the dark depths of the giant mass of foliage. As Caden strided past several trees, he noticed a twig snap from somewhere behind him. "Someone's approaching" he thought as he quickly ducked under a bush as he saw someone approaching the forest.

-MEANWHILE-

A kid no older than 14 ran through the forest with a look of fear on his face. Shortly after passing through a series of bushes, he stopped to catch his breath.
