[PG-13] Neo Duel Academy: Twilight Invaders Arc 1 - The Approaching Invasion [Started/Accepting via OOC/IC Thread]

For years after the Ark Cradle incident, Duel Academy remained a fun, exciting institute filled with many potential young duelists. However, as usual, peace was not to last. The Duel Academy in Neo Domino City was burned down and utterly destroyed by a mysterious organization known as the Twilight Invaders in a failed attempt to obtain the 6 Divine Attributed "Reverse Lord" cards rumored to be sealed there. From there, Neo Duel Academy was built. Using the 6 cards as a base, Neo Academy Island was created as a gate for the Twilight Invaders with Duel Academy itself as the gatekeeper. Unfortunately, the Twilight Invaders have gotten word of this and is suspecting the "Reverse Lord" cards to be on the island, and their suspicions are correct. When the time comes and the cards become unsealed, will Duel Academy be able to stop this reckoning force? Only you can decide...

After the orientation meeting ended, Caden walked out of the main hall with his brother Raize and made his way to the Obelisk Blue Dorms. When he arrived in his room, he set his things down and started organizing his belongings in drawers and closets. He sighed as he finished tidying up. "Of course I'd end up rooming with him" he glanced at Raize as he headed for the door. "Raize, I'm going to go for a short walk..." he said softly as he closed the door behind him. Upon making his way out of the Obelisk Dorm, Caden headed for the Neo Academy Island Lighthouse, which was about a mile away from the dorms. As he arrived, he stood next to the lighthouse, and gazed at the sea...

Endymion sighed, shoving his clothes in a drawer. Packing was a boring job. He had nothing to do as soon as he was done. He looked away in disgust at his Obelisk Blue Uniform. He was fine with it. But he didn't want to seem like a snob by wearing it. Instead, he slipped on the Silfer Red uniform, and folded the Obelisk one and placed it at the bottom of his drawer. "Only special occasions" He said under his breath.
Now that he wad doen, he looked out the window. A soft breeze blew gently, ruffling his black hair. Self conciously, he patted it down. From his room, he could see Neo Domino City, far in the distance. He turned away and walked out of the room. He wasn't eager to remember any of THAT again.

Juliet sighed. She picked up her deck again and ruffled through it slowly, reapeating her tactics slowly in her mind. When the right opportunity arose, she needed to be ready. A single mistake, and she could send the job back to useless. She wasn't going to let that happen. That wasn't her way. She ran a hand through her hair thoughtfully. New tactics would be in order, as to not repeat the previous mistakes they had made in their last seige for the Reverse Lords. That had been unforgivable. Stupid. But it wouldn't happen again.

[Heavens Guardian]

After the orientation meeting ended, Rosa went up to her Room. It was Near the top of the Blue Dorm. She open the window to feel the Late Summer Breeze. Once she did that she quickly took her place at the top bunk. She ask personal for a bunk she then calls her friends. They all come over and they talk about there summer. Rosa talk about her Deuling at beach(Which she didn't like because she hates deuling). She nearly lost but used her Main Card Rose Maidan-Clarissa effect which made her oppenont life points drop to zero. At the end of te day everyone left she took a look at her er deck knowing that she is going to have to use this deck a lot more then she wants.

Hiro left the orientation with a stiff feeling in his neck. He walked down the halls, his broad shoulders demanded respect from the little kids. But his more athletic phsique attracted the eyes of more of the girl dualists. He smirked as he opened the door to his dorm and went to his room. Hiro unpacked quickly and put the little stuff he had brought in the closet. His deck slid out of it's pocket and into his hand. The cards just felt so fresh and normal, he had to surf through them again. He skimmed till he found a few of his favorites. The cards slid into their case on his belt and he threw on his uniform. Hiro ran out of the room and went to the light house to find a student was there as well. His mind strived with new ideas, but he decided to just say hi. "Hello, my name is Hiro." He said, raising his hand. "What is your name?"

[Hila Ⅰ]

Tiffany left the orientation, and elequently trotted to the Obelisk dorm. There a guard stood outside her room.
"May I pass please sir?" She asked in the nicest of voices. The guard looked up, he had stubble on his chin and large bags under his eyes.
"No can do miss" He said in a gruff voice "The Vice-Chancellor and your father are having a meeting, you'll have to wait outside for now." he cocluded.
"Nobody tells Tiffany Kaiba No!" She screamed, "Move tall man or I will have to duel my way through!".
"Sorry Miss, I don't duel" He grinned "Looks like little Kaiba will have to go back now".
"I don't think so, go Yowie, Ashinigray and Ipiria! Attack him!" She yelled. A Moniter Lizard monster with 6 legs appeared before her, it hissed rather violently. Alongside it came a Parrot-like creature with large eyes and a colourful crest and a lizard with white silk flowing from it's head and piercing the guard with it's striking yellow eyes. At once the three monster's attacked knocking the guard off balance for a few moments. The guard tried to retaliate against the assailant's but his punched when straight through them. After a brief interval Tiffany held up another card. "I activate Reckless Swam Renegade! Now I add 2 Ashinigray 2 Ipiria and 2 Yowie to my hand. After that I use 2 Fusion Sages, now go my 3 polymerizations! Form the Yowilisk, the Ashinara and the Ipirium!".

At this the 3 monster's glowed a yellow colour and grew in size. The moniter lbecame a dragon, the parrot a griffon and the lizard a horned beast. The monster's then re-engaged in their assault, knocking the guard over and K.O-ing him. Tiffany quickly de-activated her duel disk and opened the door to her room. Her father and the Vice-Chancellor were shocked to see that she had entered.
"Where is the guard?" Her Father asked.
"Right here!" She pointed to the heavy lump on the floor.
"let's hope she chill's out over the next few months" The Vice-Chancellor murmured.

[Renzoku Kira-]

Aiden was standing at the edge of a dock looking at the Neo Duel Academy. He was standing there his hood and cape blowing in the wind. "The Duel Academy is the place where cards of great power reside. I will have my revenge inside that Academy. They will pay even more for forcing me out of the school two years ago. I will gain more power than any of those teachers can even imagine, and when I grow powerful enough those teachers will regret ever messing with me." Aiden was looking at the Academy, but in his mind all he could see was a massive fire destroying it. He turned his back on the view, and got into his car, and drove back to his house on the beach. Once he was home he went to his backyard, and turned on his duel field. He set up his computer to duel against him so he can release some anger.

[Blaze Of Honor]

[center][i]A medium-sized ship slowly sails into the docks at the south side of the island. The sun is hanging high above the world, illuminating the day-time clear blue sky. The horn of the ship blows, and onto the edge of the bow walks a young man in a Ra Yellow blazer. His blonde hair falls perfectly, covering his eyes from the bright light of the sun. AJ, the young duelist, jumps off the boat, landing on his feet upon the port. He brushes a hand through his hair as he observes what's before him.[/i]

"So this is Neo Duel Academy, huh?"

[i]Evelyn nods approvingly, reaching into his courier bag. He pulls out a duel disk, and puts it on his wrist, powering it up. He glances at his desk, a smirk coming onto his face.

"Never know when I might need you guys."

AJ smiles and turns his view ahead of him, beginning to walk away from the docks and to his orientation. The waves splash behind him as he departs the area, moving on to bigger and better things. [/i][/center]

[Dementuo]

"K, Caden. Don't stay out too late, though." Raize said as his brother left the dorm. As the door closed, Raize pulled out a card from his deck. The card was almost blank, though it had the look of being a Synchro Monster. "I still haven't figured out why this thing only appears during my Riding Duels... Maybe I'll figure it out here... Back where I first got it." Raize thought. "Best not to think about that now." Raize said, putting the card back into his deck box, which was neatly attached to his belt. Raize got up, and went to the door. "Might as well take a look around, get reacquainted with the island... Maybe I'll meet someone strong enough to beat me." Raize thought. "Heh, that would be interesting." Raize said to himself. With that, he walked out the door, and began to explore the island.

Lucia sat on the grass some distance from the Academy building, looking at the sky. She wore a yellow jacket, symbolic of the dorm she was in, and her hair fluttered in the gentle breeze, drifting in front of her sparkling green eyes. After weeks of excitement, she was finally at the Academy and already she had spent a good chunk of her time looking for terrific hangout locations for when she wasn't in class. On her left arm she wore a simple academy disk, and her book bag was placed beside her. Now all she had to do was relax, and savor her time here. Maybe she could get a duel or two in later, but if not, she could use the time for studying or exploring the campus.

"I will now tune my 2 Dragunity Phalanx with my Red daemon's Dragon.


The King and The Devil, here and now, shall become as one. A Raging Spirit! Lift up the very cries of Creation itself!
Synchro Summon! Come Forth, Scar-Red Nova Dragon!"
Delthor shouted as the might Red and Black dragon made its appearance. "For each tuner in my graveyard Scar-Red Nova dragon gains 500 ATK. With 3 Tuners in my Graveyard Scar-Red Nova Dragon has 5000 ATK" Delthor said

The Ra yellow duelist yellled "Not so fast i activate Bottomless Trap hole now your Dragon is destory."

"Wrong due to Scar-Red Nova Dragon's other effect cannot be destroyed by card effects." Delthor exclaimed with full excitement on his face

"WHAT! that can't be" RYD said.

"Now Scar-Red Nova Dragon attack his Goyo Guardian and end this duel. Burning Soul" Delthor yelled as the dragon's body was surrounded by flames and charged Goyo Guardian reducing his opponent's life pionts to zero. "That was a good match but i was the better duelist in the end" Delthor said as he turned and walked away.

"Well that was a fun duel now to talk a walk." Delthor said as he put 1 foot in front of the othe.

As Caden heard the voice, he simply responded "Caden..." in a somewhat emotionless voice without turning around. "Nice to meet you, Hiro..." he stated, still gazing at the sea. He remained quiet and finally turned towards Hiro, accepting his handshake. Concluding the "meeting", Caden walked briskly passed Hiro without glancing up at him and proceeded to continue down the edge of the harbor. He made his way down to the shore and headed for the forest. As he arrived, he sat down, leaning against one of the trees and gazed upon the sky before closing his eyes.

"Caden?..." Hiro whispered to himself when he had left. The name didn't sound familiar, but the way Caden and acted had left a weird feeling in Hiro's stomach. Either he forgot his breakfest this morning, or Hiro knew someone like Caden. Hiro shook it off, being a spy came with its advantages. He'd ask for a background check on Caden when he returned to his dorm, but the day had nearly just begun and Hiro was just itching for a duel. He took out his pitch-black duel-disk that had a Dragon head on the end. He set his cards in it and the black parts became red. He smirked at the effect and walked around in plain-sight, being the "Obvious-target".

Endymion exited the Obelisk Dorm. His room had a horrible view, to him, at least. And he didn't feel like a friendly battle right now. Too much was on his mind. Rare, but true. He psuhed the dorm door in a trance, before slamming it shut behind him. Another cool breeze blew softly across the island, blowing a few strands of balck hair in front of his eyes. Endymion didn't even notice as he walked, stoppign next to a lage tree not far from his dorm. Glancing around, he climbed up, until he was high in the branches, but unable to be seen from anywhere but below. Parting a few branches he stared out over the Academy Island, and the sea beyond. He pulled out his deck an fumbled through it for one of his cards. Finding it, he pulled it out, and he felt much happier.
"Ancient Fairy Dragon...." He whispered, staring at the card and reading through it's effects. Just having the card in his hand made him happier, and helped him to forget his worries. Just what he needed, at this time.

[Blaze Of Honor]

[center][i]AJ walks through the fields and trees, just freely exploring the campus grounds. He squeezes through a tight spot between two trees, and comes to a very open and spacious field behind a reasonably sized dorm. Standing in the center of it is a girl in a yellow blazer, obviously a dorm mate of his. Evelyn glances to his left and then to his right, and sees no other students. He smiles and walks up behind the female student, tapping her lightly on the shoulder. Lucia turns around, surprised. AJ grins.[/i]

"Hey, is this the Ra Yellow dorm? I just got here, sorry if I'm the thirtieth person to ask."

[i]The opportunistic duelist laughs a bit, and extends his hand out to the Ra Yellow girl, Lucia.[/i]

"By the way, I'm AJ Evelyn, Ra Yellow--obviously. And you are...?"

AJ ends with a hopeful tone, hoping she won't ignore him and walk away. [/i][/center]

[Chaos Number: Card Master]

Jackson was standing their staring into the distance. He was on a boat sailing to Neo Duel Academy. Neo Duel Academy was twice the size of his old academy. He was running late and was probably going to miss the Orientation Meeting. He opened up the letter which he was sent when he was invited to come here. [i]So they put me in Ra Yellow even though I was the best at my old academy, anyway there will be good duelists here which will be great for practising dueling[/i] he thought to him self. He also realized that here he might not be the best. The boat came into shore and he jumped off onto the ground and stared up at Neo Duel Academy.

As Delthor walked his way around the courtyard he spotted 2 other duelists one in the obelisk blue dorm and the other in some non-uniform clothes. Delthor stopped and studied the 2 noticing a black duel disk on one of there arms. Delthor grinned with excitement "Hey you with the black duel disk challenge you to a duel. And don't think just because i'm jumpy that i'm a push over. On top of that don't forget to bring your A game i don't like people saying in the end that were holding back. No Holding back come at me with full force so we can both enjoy a duel" Delthor exclaimed than loaded his deck into his duel disk.

Hiro grinned with anticipation. "My cards are not to be taken lightly... You'll regret those words..." Hiro threw out his arm and the red glowing parts of his duel disk glowed brighter to signify the start of the duel. Hiro grinned a bit wider, it felt like this duel will be the first of many. "I wish you good luck, you can go first if you'd like. My name is Hiro, what is yours?" Hiro noticed a sudden shift in his duel-hungry attitude, he wasn't in this for fun anymore, he is going to duel this person to prove a point. But whatever that point may be, Hiro wasn't sure.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

Just then, near to Endymion, a black blur rushed up the tree, and before he knew it, a girl who appeared to be 17 or 18 was sitting a few feet away, only she wasn't exactly a normal girl. It was hard to tell, since she was rather short. He could have probably placed her at around 5 feet tall, and her skinny frame had the capacity to throw him off. However, her skin was deathly pale, though what little he could see of it under her black and purple clothing had red tattoos on it. Her gloves were very claw-like, and the upper half of her face, and therefore her eyes, were obscured by her hood. [color=#800080]"Beautiful view, isn't it?"[/color] She asked Endymion in a soft British-accented voice, not even looking at him when she spoke.

"The name is Delthor and ok ill start." Delthor draw his hand "Draw" Delthor said with a grin as he drew

"Alright this is a good hand. First i play Future Fusion and i select Five-headed Dragon. With this i send 2 Dragunity - Phalanx, 2 Red-eyes Wyvern, and 1 Red-eyes darkness metal dragon. Now I Summon Dragunity - Dux. Now i actvate Dux's abilty. When he i summoned i can equip 1 Dragon-Type Dragunity monster in my graveyard to Dux. And i chose to equip Phalanx to him. Now i activate my Phalanx's ability. Once per turn while he is equipped to a monster as an equip card I Special Summon him from my spell and trap zone.

Now i tune My level 2 Dragunity - Phalanx to my level 4 Dragunity - Dux.

From the land of the sky. The knight of the dragons come forth. Synchro Summon Dragunity Knight - Vajrayana!

Now i active his special ability which Vajrayana is Synchro Summoned he can equipped 1 Dragon-Type tuner in my Grave to himself and i select Dragunity - Phalanx. Now i activate Phalanx's ability to Special Summon himself from my Spell and Trap Zone.

Now i tune my level 2 Dragunity - Phalanx to my Level 6 Dragunity Knight - Vajrayana

The ruler's heartbeats will now file through here! Take witness to its creation-shaking power!
Synchro Summon! My very soul, Red Daemon's Dragon!

Now i set 2 Cards facedown and End my turn"

Delthor looked at Hiro with a grin on his face "Now let see how you farce against my deck"

Hiro grinned wider. He drew his cards and then another for his turn. "I normal summon my 'Blood Dragon Spawn of Dark Realm'!" Hiro's eyes grew wide as he saw his play. "I activate Blood Dragon Spawn of Dark Realm's effect, since I Normal Summoned him Successfully, I may now Special Summon 'Young Dark Dragon of Dark Realm'!" Hiro placed his second monster from his hand on to his duel-disk. "Now, I Synchro Summon 'Blood Red Dragon of Dark Realm' but tuning my Young Dark Dragon of Dark Realm with my Blood Dragon Spawn of Dark Realm!" Hiro removed his two monsters from the field and summoned his favorite card. "Now, Blood Red Dragon's effect allows me to remove the two dragon's in my graveyard from play and increase his attack power by 200! But he already gains 800 attack power from Young Dark Dragon of Dark Realm's effect. My beastly dragon's attack power is now 4000! And Blood red Dragon attacks your Red Deamon's Dragon!"

Delthor chuckled at the Giant Dragon appear" Not so fast yo fell right into my trap. Now I activate Bottomless trap hole." Bottomless traphole revealed itself as Delthor extended his arm " Now your Dragon is destroyed and removed from play. Don't think you can hit me straight forward plan like that" Delthor chuckled "so how will you response to this change of pace" With with full body shaking in excitement Delthor looked back to his hand than to field with a grin on his face.

"Blood Red Dragon's second effect activates, I get to draw two cards and for each 'Dark Realm' monster I draw, you have to discard a card from your hand..." Hiro drew two Dark Realm monsters. "Now you have to discard 2 cards from your hand at your choice." He grinned. "I activate the continuous spell card 'Floating castle of Dark Realm' Its effect lets me special summon one level four or lower dark realm monster from my hand." Hiro special summoned a monster from his hand. "I end..."

Delthor chuckled "Thanks for the discard i need to send one them to the grave" Delthor sent Dragunity - Phalanx and Red-eyes Wyvern in his hand to the Graveyard. when Hiro activated his Spell card DElthor flipped over his other facedown "I activate Mystical Space Typhoon with this card i destroy your spell so cannot get its effect. Nice try though. So do you have any other tricks you wanna play." Delthor took into account of no cards in his hand. "Shall we see if my next draw will be of use against you. My turn Draw" Delthor looked at the card in his. "
Alright Red Daemon's Dragon Absolute Powerforce." Delthor screamed as the giant red dragon's hands glowed with fire attacked

(Just for future reference, Blaze, avoid taking control of another character in your post narration, and leave reactions to the character's respective RPer. This case is minor, but it's still technically not allowed to create Lucia's reaction yourself)

Lucia turned at he tap on her shoulder, looking up at the boy standing behind her. She pushed herself to her feet, idly brushing herself off even though her clothes weren't dirty or wrinkled. "Actually, you're the thirty-second," she said with a teasing note to her voice. "Which bewilders me as the dorm building has our rank's insignia and color, and the only way to find me is to walk around it."

She smiled, as if to reassure him that she really was kidding, and accepted his handshake, making eye contact while answering, "Lucia. Nice to meet you, AJ." She looked him up and down for a moment, then released her grip on his hand.
