[Tokyo Duel]

Endal paid no attention to the dangers of the Forbidden Forest, nor did he cower in fear as fearsome creatures seemed to circle him. He simply kept walking, a lack of care emmiting off him. One creature attempted to attack him, but something killed it before it came within five feet of Endal. Endal arrived at a cave. A cave marked with countless blood shed and bodies. "Your response time is getting slower...Oblivia."

 

"Do you expect me to protect your every movement?" the fallen God asked. "I have far more important things to ponder."

 

 

"Understandable..." Endal said, his usual emotionless face staring Oblivia right in the eyes. "Tell me, Oblivia...what's going on in that head of yours...?"

 

Oblivia smirked as he stood up from his self-made throne. "You will see, Endal...you will see."

[Renzoku Kira-]

As Ryan walked home from school he noticed some kids nearing the end of a duel. He walked over to the area where they were dueling, and took a seat. He was happy to see young ones learn the ways of duel monsters. As one kid summoned from his deck a Dark Magician the other one seemed disappointed in himself. After the duel was over the winner didn't even bother to shake the loser’s hand. What has happened to these kids to make them not even be a good winner. The turn duel monsters have taken since it began just makes me sick. Ryan stood up from his seat, and left the park knowing he had to get home in order to avoid being yelled at. "Let’s see I got math and history homework tonight. Well I should be done in about an hour or two so I can get started on that new Duel Monster's strategy book I bought." Ryan spoke aloud to himself as he entered his bunker.

[Super Chaos Sonic]

"Now, to end this duel!" Yoh said as he drew a card from his Duel Disk. "Yes!! I activate Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy that one face down card you have." He placed the card in the Graveyard and watched as a typhoon destroyed his opponent's face down card. "No not my Negate Attack!!" the guy said. Yoh smirked and said,"Now thanks to Skyscraper 2 - Hero City, I can special summon 1 E-Hero from my grave. So return to the field, E-Hero Neos!!" As he said this, E-Hero Neos appeared on his side of the field(E-Hero Neos / ATK 2500 / DEF 2000). "Now I'll send my Neos to the grave once again to have my fusion monster, E-Hero Terra Firma gain his attack points. Now he is at a life point crushing 5000 attack!!"

 

The guy got scared, as he saw E-Hero Terra Firma's attack raise to 5000. He still had a defense monster, so it was alright. If Yoh attacked, his Life Points would be safe.

 

"Now I'll summon up my little buddy, Neo-Spacian Grand Mole!" Yoh said as he placed another card on the disk, showing a small mole appear on his field. "Now if I attack with Grand Mole, my mole AND your monster are sent back to you're hand." He then declared the attack and watched as Grand Mole attack the guy's defense monster and both were returned to their hands. He then snapped his fingers and Terra Firma attacked directly, ending the duel.

 

Yoh Yuki: 2900 LP

The other guy: 0 LP

 

"Hey that was a nice duel!" Yoh said with a smile. He was about to extend his hand for a hand shake, but saw the guy walk off. "O-K....talk about a sore loser."

In the middle of a peaceful city park, a violet glowing ring with various arcane symbols inscribed around it appeared, followed by another larger ring, and then another. In the center of the array, a dark swirling vortex appeared, and three figures, as well as a winged puffball, emerged. One was obviously the caster, a hooded woman about 5 feet tall with black and purple clothing. Not all of her face was shown, but what was seen of her skin had red tattoos on it. The other was a beautiful princess who had an uncanny resemblance to Jaden Yuki, even with a dress that resembled the Duel Academy uniform. The third was a white and purple-haired demoness with three heterochromatic eyes, pink skin, and a black catsuit. Finally, floating alongside the princess was a cute little floating brown-furred creature with tiny angelic wings.

"Well, this is the place." The sorceress announced to the quartet in a soft, British-accented voice.

"Many thanks for transporting us, Vicky." The princess replied in what was probably the British female version of Jaden's voice.

"You're welcome, though I'm heading in this general direction anyways." Vicky replied, turning back to her portal. "I have a date."

The princess and the demoness were shocked. "YOU HAVE A DATE?!?" The Jaden doppleganger cried out. She then put two and two together and added. "YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND?!?"

Vicky chuckled at the reactions of her companions as she turned back to face them. "Things have changed since the Paradox War, Hime." She told the princess, amused. "Itsu may still be running around the multiverse, but I found someone, or more like, he found me. He traveled with Itsu for a while, and we have a lot in common." She became a bit solemn. "He shares my pain and my sorrow, and is there to comfort me." She raised her head so a pair of royal purple rings in twin pools of darkness stared into Hime's brown gems. "Finally, after all of this time, I am not alone."

The demoness regained her composure faster than her charge. "Good luck on your date, Miss Victoria."

Vicky nodded. "Good luck with your assignment, Judaihime, Yubel, Winged Kuriboh."

Winged Kuriboh and Yubel waved goodbye to their friend, and Judaihime eventually snapped out of it and waved as well. Vicky waved back as she entered the portal, and it closed on her once she disappeared. Judai sighed, and wondered. "Now what?" Winged Kuriboh fluttered next to her, shrugging. "Kuri Kuri..." Yubel then turned to the sounds of a duel finishing up nearby. "That sounds like as good of a place to start as any."

The trio started heading for the dueling site.

[Tokyo Duel]

Endal had been sent off to find opponents to duel, as a means of practice. After all, would use would he be to Oblivia's new world if he couldn't protect Oblivia, or himself for that matter? After leaving the forest, he wandered around, occassionly showing off his black and white duel disk. He wandered around for he felt like was hours. "Hopefully somoene will see me and challenge me...I can't afford to be rusty. It's been one week since my last duel."

 

Endal pulled out his prized card. "Who knows...maybe someone will be lucky enough to meet you..." Endal snickered. He put the card back into his pocket.

 

Endal went deep in thought all of a sudden, realizing he was color blind. He saw no colors. Not the blue sky, or the green grass. He simply saw everything in grey. Not light and dark. Oblivia made it this way, to ensure loyalty. Oblivia said this was to 'rid him of the impurity of the world'. Everything, according to Oblivia was impure and imperfect. All there was was the constant battle of good versus evil. And that same thing had cost Endal his parents...

Tari let out a low sigh as she wandered down the street. Being a doctor, her adoptive father was rarely at home which left Tari by herself with nothing to do and she had taken to wandering around outside in search of someone to duel. She had her duel disk on her arm ready and had already shuffled her deck ten times since leaving the house.

"You'd think people would spot a little girl and think I'm an easy taget," she muttered dryly, looking down at her deck, resisting the urge to take it out again.

She let out a low grumble, lowering her arm and continuing on her way. She passed by the park get and went inside, flopping down into a park bench and letting her hood down to reveal her bright violent hair. She leaned back, resting her head against the back of the seat and stared up at the sky through the tree branches above her.

"Le'ts see," she muttered aloud "That cloud looks like a frog. That cloud looks like Master Hand."

She continued lazily listing off what each one represented, finally growing bored of her little game and sitting upright again.

"This sucks," she grumbled.

Yoh walked off from the area he was dueling from with a sigh. He was kind of upset that the kid got upset since he lost. "I-I-I'd be upset too if I lost..." Yoh said running his hand through his brown hair. "But at least I would have fun even if I lost...but ever since I dueled other people, they've been going down a sore loser streak. I mean, not even giving the winner a handshake at the end of a duel...like its supposed to be." He stopped and looked up at the sky, sighing again. "And now I just wish someone wouldn't be that mad at me whenever I win. I mean...with every duel I've done, no one happens to be my friend afterward. Man, its nothing like most people have." he said shaking his head and continuing to walk.

[Tokyo Duel]

Endal stopped at the park. "Hmm..." There he saw a girl staring off. He wondered what she could be staring at, as the clouds and the sky blended in. However, wondering was a sign of human imagination, and that was something he had long abandoned since he met Oblivia. Humanity. He approached the girl. Withoutthe slightest trace of emotion, he said, "Are you are a dulist?" Stupid question he realized. He saw her duel disk and deck. "Duel?"

 

Without giving her a chance to respond, Endal raised his duel disk. "Ready when you are," he said again. He was giving her no option, yet he was prepared for her to walk off, just in case.

A shadow fell across Tari and she looked about, noticing a boy slightly older than her standing in front of her.

"Am I a duelist?" She repeated "No, I wear this for show. Of course I'm a duelist!"

Without waiting for her to accept the boy raised his duel disk, apparently under the impression she would duel him regardless. Tari raised an eyebrow and frowned, staring at the boy. Sure, she'd been waiting for someone to duel but this guy wasn't exactly what she was looking for. Still, at least it would kill some time.

"Fine then," she said, hopping to her feet and activating her own duel disk "Let's see what you've got."

Upon activating her deck auto-shuffled in its holster and Tari picked up her first five cards, looking down at them to come up with a decent opening move.

[Tokyo Duel]

"I'll start," Endal said emotionlessly. His lack of care and emotion were only matched by his dueling. "I'll start by summoning Sky Angel Ryser."

 

ATK: 1800

DEF: 0

 

Endal's right eye turned pure white, and remained that way.

 

"When he's summoned, I can send one Light Fairy-Type monster from my deck to my Graveyard. In addition, by sending another Light Fairy-Type monster from my hand, I can send one more Light Fairy-Type. I set two cards and conclude my turn." His voice was becoming more and more emotionless. His entire being was that of a lack of emotion. It was obvious Endal wasn't 'normal' by many standards.

[Renzoku Kira-]

Ryan climbed out his bunker window once his parents dropped off his dinner. He took off back to the park since the start heating up around that time. As he arrived he saw a boy run up, and challenge a girl to a duel without giving her a chance to respond. Hello there Ryan came are you looking to duel someone today? Ryan's duel spirit Baby Dragon popped up out of nowhere. I don't know BD its depends on the level of competition here. Look at that over there a duelist is trying to start a duel with someone, and didn't give her a chance to answer. I did I can't believe thats how duelist work these days. Why don't you go over and challenge that kid who is walking over there. You know the one shaking his head in disgust. He just one a duel, and the loser didn't shake his hand. Well BD I think that would be a good idea lets see if it was the loser or the winners fault for no handshake. Ryan walked over to the boy shaking his hand. "Hey you I would like to challenge you to a duel if you are up to it." he said as he approached the boy.

Yoh heard someone call to him. He stopped and turned his head and saw a boy about his age with a duel disk on his wrist. He heard the boy ask if he wanted to duel. Yoh smiled a little and opened his deck box on his side and slid his deck into the duel disk. He quickly turned it on and said,"I'm game for a quick duel." He drew five cards from his deck and said,"I'll let you start off this duel, since you challenged me. And by the way...the names Yoh Yuki. May I ask what your name is? I usually like to know the names of my opponents when they challenge me or I challenge them."

"Well, you don't have any manners at least," Tari muttered as she drew a card to begin her turn.

Let's see, she though He has a reasonably powerful monster, 2 face down cards and he just sent 3 monsters to the graveyard. I don't think that card has any other weird effects but that doesn't mean his face downs don't

She looked down at her own hand and grinned.

He's not the only one who can set a trap though,

"I summon Meltiel, Sage of the Sky in Defense Mode!" Tari said, placing her monster on the field.

 

A display of lights shot up from the ground in front of her and her monster appeared before her.

"Next I'll activate this," Tari continued, revealing another card from her hand "The continuous magic card, Advance Force."

She placed the card in her S/T zone slot and a larger image of the card materialized in front of her.

"Now whenever I sacrifice for a level 7 or higher monster, I can tribute just one monster just so long as it's level 5 or higher," Tari explained "Finally I'll lay one card face down and end my turn."

A face down card appeared behind her Sage of the Sky and Tari lowered her duel disk.

Ryan was happy the duel was accepted. His opponent told him his name was Yoh Yuki. "Well my name is Ryan Holmes, and I think you for being nice enough to duel. I see I will be going first so I draw." Ryan answered the question that Yoh had asked him. Decent starting hand so how should I start this since I can't attack."I summon Lust Dragon in attack mode, and I will place two cards face down. Then, I will activate the spell card Pot of Greed so I can draw two more cards from my deck, and I will end my turn." Ryan announced to his opponent. Good first move Ryan. Thanks Baby Dragon you always keep my spirits high.

[Super Chaos Sonic]

Yoh smirked and said,"Nice move there Ryan. But now its my move, DRAW!" He quickly drew his sixth card and looked at all of them. Nice set of cards here...now lets use this move here... he thought as he quickly grabbed on card from his hand. "Now, I'm gonna play it like this...one monster in defense mode." he said as he placed the card on the field, face down. He then grabbed another card from his hand and said,"Now, to end my turn...I'll place this face down in my Spell and Trap zone." Soon another card was seen on his side of the field. He smirked and said,"Your go, Ryan."

[Renzoku Kira-]

Well I don't know what that face down card is, but hopefully this next move will be able to help me out. "My turn so I will draw. Yes just the card I needed to put you on the edge. I summon Dragonic Guard(1500Atk/1800Def) in defense position." Ryan said as he summoned his guard. I see your plan Ryan, but maybe Yoh also knows what plan you are setting up. I would try to keep him distracted from you card maybe set up a trap card so when he attacks your face down you can defend the attack. BD I am way ahead of you on that one so you can sit back and watch as I do some damage. "Now Yoh I activate the spell card United We Stand which gives my Luster Dragon 2700 attack points and 2400 defense points. Then, I will use my Luster Dragon to attack your face down monster. GO NOW MY DRAGON DESTROY HIS FACE DOWN MONSTER!" Ryan said as his Dragon went in for the killing blow.

Yoh smirked and watched his face down defense monster being attacked and then destroyed. Soon the picture of a furball with green legs, arms, and three eyes appeared from the destroyed monster. "Thank you Ryan for attacking." Yoh said smiling. "Cause now thanks to the effect of Sangan, when its destroyed I can add 1 monster with an attack of 1500 or less from my deck to my hand." He then began to look through his deck, until he found a particular card. He grabbed it and showed Ryan, saying,"So with it I add my E-Hero Ocean to my hand!" Yoh then added his newly drawn E-Hero to his hand and looked at Ryan. "Does that conclude your turn??" he asked.

[Renzoku Kira-]

"Its the end of my turn."Ryan called back to Yoh. Well Baby Dragon we walked into the trap he set for us that time. Its okay Ryan we still have our plan to finish. So what just happened might not even matter. In a few turns you can summon your ace card, and bring this duel to an end. BD I don't know how I could get out of tough situations without you. We have been down in the dumps so many times in our career with each other, but we wouldn't have as many wins if it wasn't for you keeping up my spirit. Now I can focus on summoning the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon.

[Super Chaos Sonic]

Yoh nodded and drew his next card from his deck. He looked at it and smirked. "Alright...now I'm gonna use the Spell known as Mystical Space Typhoon!" he said revealing a card from his hand. "That will destroy your equip spell and bring your dragon back to its regular attack." He then grinned and said,"Now, here's where things get a little wild. I summon up my little buddy, Neo-Spacian Grand Mole in attack mode." Soon a small mole appeared in front of Yoh. "Now, here's the best part...I'm gonna fusion summon!" Yoh said as he grabbed three cards. "I use Polymerization to fuse E-Hero Ocean with my King of the Swamp....now come out...my ace monster, E-Hero Terra Firma (2500ATK/2000DEF)!!" Soon another monster appeared next to Grand Mole, Yoh's fusion monster Terra Firma.

 

"Now, Grand mole will attack your Guard...and by its effect your Guard and my mole return to our hand." Yoh said as he watched Grand Mole attack and return to his hand. "And finally, Terra Firma will attack your Luster Dragon...dealing you 600 points of damage!" He watched Terra Firma attack the dragon and watched it be destroyed. "And with that...I end my turn."

Ryan Holmes: 3400 LP

[Tokyo Duel]

"Very well," Endal said. He drew his card. "I now summon Sky Demon Nero."

DEF: 0

 

"When he's summoned, I can destroy it and draw a card. Then I send the top card of my deck to my Graveyard. If it is a Dark Fiend-Type monster, you take damage equal to it's level multiplied by two hundred."

 

The creature was envolopped in a thick darkness, then it was destroyed. Endal then drew a card.

 

An eerie darkness crawled into Endal's graveyard. "Sky Demon Oboro, a level five monster."

 

"Juding by her monster...I can only assume her face down's are counter traps. However...I have nothing to be afraid of, as long as I have Oblivia by my side."

 

"Ryser, attack her Sky Sage," Endal said coldy.

Judaihime and the gang finally caught up with Yoh, since Hime had high heels on, and the three of them stood off to the side, cheering him on. Judai knew of her alternate counterparts, and how they had powerful monsters like the Elemental Heroes, in both of their incarnations, and the Masked Heroes. However, as a testament of the bond between her and her fiancee, Prince Johan, a new set of monsters had come forth from the earth to show the union between the Kingdom of Academia, the Kingdom of Light, and the Kingdom of Northrend, the Kingdom of Earth: The Gem-Knights! Johan had mixed them into his deck, and so had Hime, so now she not only had her cute adorable friends like Watapon, Sonic Chick, Rescue Cat, and more, but these powerful knights defending her! Of course, she still had Winged Kuriboh and Yubel, along with a very special pair of cards Itsu gave her...

[DeathSDelano]

"Red Daemon's Dragon direct attack! Absolute Powerforce!" Delano said as the might dragon's hands glowed red ending the duel.

"How could i lose" the duelist said. "Easy i am just better than you well anyways see ya around" Delano said than walked off. As Delano walked he looked at his Red Daemon's Dragon "Looks like another duel you have won me too bad there have not been any strong duelist so i can display your hidden strength." he said to the card than put away. "Well time to eat. I am starving" Delano said than walked into a noodle shop "1 bowl of plain ramen please" Delano asked the shop owner "Coming right up. So did you win another duel today Delano," The shop owner asked. "You got that right old man you've known be for 10 years. You know i rarely lose" Delano chuckled "plus there are not many strong duelist around it. Its to the piont its disappionting."

 

"Well that can't be helped Delano not everyone is a duel maniac like you and heres your order" the shop owner said than give him his order. "Thanks old man." Delano said than started to eat hs ramen

Level 5. That's 1000 life points, Tari thought And given the way he sends his cards to the grave like that, I'm betting he's building up to something.

Tari made little reaction when her life points dropped and her opponent ordered his monsters attack. His creature cut through Tari's defense easily, reducing the monster to nothing more than scattered lights which soon vanished.

I have a face down card and he still attacked me, she thought So he's either reckless or stupid. Or maybe he's just trying to find out if its worth the risk or not. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she watched her opponent.

Given his dueling strategy, I'm going for reckless, she thought.

[Renzoku Kira-]

"No my Dragon. Well its my turn so now summon Debris Dragon in defense mode, and then I will equip my monster with Horn of Light increasing its defense points from 2000 to 2800. That means your monsters are not strong enough to destroy him this turn."Ryan said as he was able to provide some defense for his single monster card. We got lucky we drew Horn of Light that turn BD. You don't have to tell me that I knew that you could make some move to help us. "Now Yoh I end my turn by placing one card face down."

"Nice move, Ryan...but now for me to get serious." Yoh said drawing his next card. He smirked and said,"First off...reveal face down trap card, Hidden Book of Spell!" His face down, rose up and showed a picture with a few books, one with a light blue glow on it. "With this, I can take my Polymerization and my Mystical Space Typhoon from my grave...since they're the only spells I got there...I'll be adding them to my deck." He quickly took those two cards out from the graveyard and said,"Now I add them to my deck and its shuffled. Once again...come forth Grand Mole!" Soon the mole returned, standing next to Terra Firma. "Now with my mole's effect, when he attacks your dragon...it'll be going back to your hand. Now attack!!" Grand Mole then attacked Debris Dragon, watching both his and Ryan's monsters return to their hand. "Finally...Terra Firma will attack directly!" he said watching Terra Firma attack Ryan.

Ryan Holmes: 900

 

"Now...I'll end my turn." Yoh said nodding at Ryan.
