Name: Epsilon

Estimated Age: 2 year, 5 months

Original Species: Giant African Snail

Pokémon Species: Porygon

Appearance: Originally a large snail, he has grown larger after prototyping, now 60 x 30 cm and 3 kg. The most striking part of his appearance is his polygonal shape. He looks like a snail from a game on the Nintendo 64, with his spiral shell simplified to a rigid triangular shape with a spiral texture on it. His eye stalks are now comically large, the size of a child's fist, round as a polygonal shape will allow and blank white except for a small black dot for his pupils. His normal drab shades of brown are now light pink and blue.

Personality: Formerly a non sentient being, he has only recently gained intelligence and what could be described as a personality. He gets most of his personality from his Porygon side, which isn't much considering Porygon is computer generated Pokémon. He is rather robotic in nature, but learns in the same way as an advanced AI. This means he must learn social syntax from others around him. Usually, he will ask others about the rationale behind figures of speech and other confusing topics that are not based in pure knowledge or logic. His base personality is helpful and knowledgeable, fulfilling his duties under the Three Laws of Robotics. Since he is bound by these laws, he cannot kill or harm humans under any circumstances. However, since the laws do not specify conduct towards non humans, he is capable of murder, that is, until someone tells him otherwise. He is still trying to identify his purpose as an AI, so he will have a tendency to try doing new tasks, even if he may not be able to do it.

History: Epsilon was born as a normal Giant African Snail, with 29 other siblings. He was bred by an illegal breeder to be sold somewhere else in the world (GASs are pests in many countries). At age 2 months, he was bought by an enthusiast from America and brought to New York. There, he lived in a small aquarium with five other snails of different species. All was well until prototyping happened. When he gained sentience, Epsilon was rather confused of why he was in a tank rather than the jungles of West Africa. Seeing that his future was pointless in his current situation, he used his newfound abilities to escape his tank through his owner's Blackberry and into Central Park, where vegetation is rich. There, he managed to avoid suspicion by staying out of sight and hiding on treetops and in the brush. However, he quickly realized that he also required to consume computer data for sustenance, so he ate data from passerby's mobile devices, drawing suspicion that Central Park was somehow cursed. As he gained knowledge, he also learned of other strange happenings in the city and ventured out to see if he could solve the mysteries.

Adaptations: Being merges with a Porygon made Epsilon much different than his former self. Like a Porygon, he can float above the ground as a mode of transportation. He can also forgo the need for a constant moist environment, although he still thrives in wet environments. He can also survive in airless environments for up to five hours. He can also access information from and even enter electronic devices. However, his shell has become more brittle since prototyping. He also requires two sets of food a day: one of vegetation and one of computer data. If he is lacking in one, he will begin starving.

Ability: Trace: Allows Epsilon to imitate any prototyped animal's ability. Requires an hour cooldown before changing his ability again.

Moves: Magic Coat: Coats his entire body with a protective psychic force that can ward off weather and minor attacks. Full-on attacks will easily penetrate the barrier

Move Name – Tri-Attack: Creates three orbs that orbit Epsilon's shell, one of fire, one of ice and one of electricity. They can fire out at enemies like boomerangs, returning to orbit after striking the enemy, they can also rotate rapidly to absorb ranged attacks.

Move Name – Conversion 2: Allows him to project a psychic barrier that able to protect allies that is specifically tuned to the last attack that hit him, allowing him to repel attacks of a similar nature that he absorbed.
Name: Napoleon

Estimated Age: 8

Original Species: Sun Parakeet

Pokémon Species: Torkoal

Appearance: Napoleon still possesses the general aesthetic of a Sun Parakeet, what with a slim, feathery body and bright, golden-yellow plumage and a orange face. However, other parts...have been added. Most noticable is a large, black, rock-like shell that extends from the back of his neck to the beginning of his hail, and has glowing red hole-like pores in it. Greyish-black smoke constantly leaks from these pores, and it takes effort from Napoleon to stop the leakage. As such, it is a bit of a liability. There is also a similar-looking piece of armor that covers his chest, forming a sort of "shell" that is specially designed to allow Napoleon to continue to fly normally. The last cosmetic change on Napoleon is a dark-red tint that covers the tips of his plumage, making the resemblance to Torkoal all the much stronger.

Personality: Napoleon seems to have taken after his famous namesake. He is a proud, cold creature who derives delight from proving himself better than others. Possessing of a knowledgeable, piercing mind that has the useful talent of being able to delve right into the heart of the matter and solve the problem found there. Napoleon also has a compulsive need to prove himself, to make himself useful to those around him. His greatest fear lies not in dying or failing, it is of living in a world where he is considered "worthless". This results in Napoleon being very competitive; he will always try to win, no matter the consequences.

These traits might make it look like Napoleon is a unfeeling robot, but this parakeet does have some redeeming qualities. For one thing, Napoleon treats those who prove themselves just as driven and skillful as him are treated with a respect bordering on true friendship. Speaking of interpersonal relationships, there is a curious thing about Napoleon- despite his "high and mighty" attitude, he has the worst affliction of puppy love alive. It doesn't matter the race, shape or size, if they are female and alive, there is a chance Napoleon will fall in love with her. And if he does, Napoleon will go to the ends of the earth to get her love, and usually make a fool of himself along the way. He is the definition of a hopeless romantic.
History:] Napoleon was born into a large family of parakeets living on the edge of the Amazon Rainforest. For the first years of his life, the not-yet-named Napoleon would live in the open air, the exhilarating freedom of soaring through the great mangroves and banana trees of the rainforest. But then...then the farmers came. They, unfortunately, were slash-and-burn farmers, and Napoleon woke up one day to find most of his brood had taken to the skies and his beloved forest was burning down around him. Napoleon tried to escape, but just as we was about the breach the canopy of the forest, a burning swatch of foliage fell down on him. Napoleon almost died- in fact, he should have died, but a eco-friendly group protesting these farmers progress stumbled upon him and saved his life, taking him into their care.

Skip forward six months. Napoleon, who is in fact one of the last of a dying breed of parakeet, has been sold to the Central Park Zoo in New York for an exorbitant price and started living happily there. Here, the parakeet was named Napoleon- the reasons for which are not known, since in size and shape does Napoleon bear no resemblance to the famous French general, though it is a bit ironic once Napoleon prototyped he started acting like his namesake. But, enough about that- all Napoleon thought of was his love for his new home; the surroundings were good, the food even better, and so Napoleon was happy. However, it took only a week after his arrival for change to come once more- the prototyping began. Suddenly, in one moment, all that which had seemed adequate to his old, animal mind was now insufficient for his new, prototyped mind. He could no longer spend time with his fellow birds- as lesser beings and possessing of limited intelligence, it was nearly unbearable for Napoleon- how would you like to be trapped somewhere with only a couple of birds to talk to?- but, it was the limited amount of space that drove Napoleon over the edge. Just like you and me, Napoleon could not stand be forced into a confined space and so, he tried to escape.

Park employees rushed to his cage as soon as they saw the plumes of flame, but they were too late. Napoleon had escaped, with a charred hole through his cage to explain how he had done it. Napoleon has returned to the air, and while he is enjoying the freedom formerly enjoyed his his youth, he is desperately looking around for someone to help him come to terms with his change...

Adaptations: When he prototyped, Napoleon became smarter, gaining knowledge so quickly he is still sorting through it. Napoleon also possesses a unique ability- he can emit black smoke to disorient and confuse enemies- think of Smokescreen, but much weaker and smaller in scale. This ability is subconsciously activated when Napoleon registers danger. The downside of this is that Napoleon also needs to sleep more- and when I say sleep more, I mean sleep more. Failure to do so would result into acute sluggishness and quite nasty behavior. These symptoms appear exactly at the moment Napoleon starts losing sleep- so when he tells you he needs to rest, you should probably let him.

Ability: White Smoke - whitish-colored mist emits from Napoleon's back, obscuring Napoleon and preventing moves such as Scary Face from affecting Napoleon- after all, he can no longer see the Scary Face! However, this ability has no effect on regular attacks- the attack will go straight through the smoke, after all.

Moves: Smog – A variation on Napoleon's natural defense. Instead of simple smoke, a mix of poisonous gases are released that hurts the enemy. Also, if inhaled, the smog will also cause poison.

Shell Smash – Napoleon pulls as many parts as will fit into his shell and pulls in close any other limbs. Then, he throws himself into the enemy, causing intense damage to the enemy. However, Napoleon is vulnerable after the attack, being as he throws himself into the enemy.

Protect – A barrier is extends that protects Napoleon from attack. Lasts only for a short while, and cannot be used in quick sucession. Essentially, it "jams" when used over and over again.

You thought I would pick Luxray, didn't you.
