Wave_Sine
Would either of the following situations be legal moves in the TCG? 1. A LIGHT, Machine-Type monster with ATK>1100 you control is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard. You activate the effect of Machiners Armored Unit to summon Proto-Cyber Dragon. You then activate Inferno Reckless Summon in response to the summon of Proto-Cyber Dragon, whose name is now treated as "Cyber Dragon". You summon all Cyber Dragons you can from Deck, Hand and Graveyard. 2. You activate the second effect of Machine Assembly Line to summon Proto-Cyber Dragon. You then activate Inferno Reckless Summon in response to the summon of Proto-Cyber Dragon, whose name is now treated as "Cyber Dragon". You summon all Cyber Dragons you can from Deck, Hand and Graveyard. Do either of those miss the timing, or otherwise not work?
Fraz
Can't play Inferno in the damage step.
.Nu-13
The timing for Armored Unit is Damage Step, where IRD doesn't work
~Nightshade~
I have another question. You reborn Proto and IRS can you SS 3 cyber dragon AND 1 Proto? (and then go for 5000 atk Fortress)
Fraz
You can only summon 3 Cyber Dragon because the cards name is Cyber Dragon, not proto.
Wave_Sine
Thanks for the info on the first combo. Also, my understanding is that, with unlimited field space, a total of 6 cards could be summoned; 3 Cyber Dragon from the Hand, Deck or Graveyard, and 3 Cyber Dragon Zwei from the Graveyard, as Cyber Dragon Zwei is treated as "Cyber Dragon" while it exists in the Graveyard. Without unlimited field space, one could SS any combination of Cyber Dragons and Cyber Dragon Zweis up to four total cards, as long as the Cyber Dragon Zweis exist in the Graveyard at the time of activation. Fraz
As long as they're there at resolution, yes.
