Say, what would be the ultimate Thunder-type only deck recipe?
Sephiroth_The_Legend
Batterymen. They're probably the most consistent way of playing Thunder-Types.. there's not really much to work with though
Astro Dude
Batterymen. They're probably the most consistent way of playing Thunder-Types.. there's not really much to work with though
What about Solidarity? In my game I've seen it in action. If any one type of monster is in your graveyard, all monsters og the same type gain 800 ATK. So since this deck would be all thunder types, then all Thunder monsters will be more powerful. Then theres S.E.V.D. (Super-Electromagnetic Voltech Dragon(man thats a long name)). I wish there was a fusion monster that required three of these The thing is, each dragon would have to have a different effect depending on which batterymon was used to tribute summon it. Then there's Wattcube. Nifty little spell.
Sephiroth_The_Legend
No, No and No. Not necessary. The idea behind batterymen is to do the following: Special Summon Batteryman AA Chain Inferno Reckless Summon or something to Special Summon 2 more copies. Activate Short Circuit Attack directly for 9000 running the cards you suggested would basically slow the Deck down.
Astro Dude
Well I thought it would be a good idea since, with the exception of Fuel Cell, Charger and Industrial Strength, the Battermen were weak, the same goes for the Watts. Sephiroth_The_Legend
However, they're a combo based Deck. Relying on each other rather than alone. Hence why alot of them, often require having at least 2 to do anything. (sort of applies to real life, alot of appliances that use batteries need at least 2 )
Astro Dude
I see. So what would your Batteryman deck consist of?

Astro Dude
So I guess we're back to using three Cyber Dragons. It kinda stinks that you can't use Brain Control anymore. I wonder what the March 2011 banlist will be like?

Astro Dude
I just wish we could use some forbidden cards like Pot of Greed, Graceful Charity, Raigeki, etc.
Sephiroth_The_Legend
Thing with them, is there highly unbalanced.... and increasingly bad for the game...... best they stay banned.
