Premier Alexander Romanov
The green-haired girl woke up and got out of bed to see her cat meowing at something. "Huh? What is it, boy?" She wondered, picking up the cat and then looked around, trying to find out what was going on. She eventually peeked out of the ruins via a secret passage to see three Burai aiming their weapons at a Brittanian aircraft, and ran back inside. She got to a radio and punched in some numbers. "This is Gift-Bearing Greek calling Shikine Base. Do you copy?" "Shikine Base, loud and clear. Are those hostiles giving you problems as well?" "Hostiles? What is going on?" "Greek, we have a Britannian contingent, probably royalty, on your island, as well as a group of Chinese ships, pirates from the looks of them, just outside of the DMZ borders. We have a squad of Burais on the ground as well as three more in the air above them, along with more forces ready for rapid deployment into the DMZ. I have no idea what is going on, but things got intense. Be ready for evac. Now." The girl immediately started copying files onto a USB port and deleting them, then she started to gather up some clothes and pizza.
~Shadow of Alpha~
Kurotsuki was sitting squished between the pilot seat, and the back of the Knightmare, when suddenly her earpiece started making noises. She was somewhat surprised when it rang, Who could this be?, she clicked a button and held it up against her ear. "Yes?", she said in a confident, but quie voice. "Your Highness?" Kurotsuki instantly recognized the voice, "Xeria!? Lily ordered Andre to stay put, and one of the Burai held his machine-gun up against the Valhalla's cockpit. DL
Karin ran a hand through her hair and smiled. Perfect, now everything's set up to be foolproof.~ She walked out of the room and toward Tatsuya's Knightmare. She looked it up and down a bit. Wow, this thing seems less deadly when I'm in my Zero suit. "Hey, I'm here, as you asked!" she called up to him. "Come on down." Karin had everything planned. A small trigger was inside her pocket. She only wanted to push the button as a last resort, and, of course, it would only work if they were close enough to her office that he would hear the recording... I can't have him knowing Two is Karin...or that I'm a former Brittanian Princess...sorry Tatsuya, but the only way I can make my plan work is by keeping my indentity secret...
Tourmaline
Tatsuya looked down at her from the Knightmare's screen. He had Gungnir look a bit closer, taking quick note of her appearance. Blonde...blue eyes, slender, really. I should probably write that down somewhere. He put those thoughts aside for a second and left Gungnir with a jump. Tatsuya landed about a meter from her, although his legs hurt a bit because of the height he jumped off of. That wasn't a good idea. "Hello." He started off with a welcoming, emotionless face. "I'm glad Two did as I asked and was able to get you here. I came here because you asked me to. You're an informer of the Black Knights, I think. You should know that's a rather dangerous job for people of our age. Don't keep yourself too deep in danger:" Tatsuya summarized what he'd known with a constant, slightly cold tone, but it was possible to sense he wasn't being completely emotionless, since that's just ridiculous. "I never had the chance to introduce myself, though. Tatsuya Tsunesane. It is my pleasure, of course." He comically bowed and offered a handshake. DL
Karin nodded, and extended her own hand to shake his. I can't let him know I'm Brittanian...well, on the upside, at least the school records have me into the database with my fake last name... "I'm Karin...Kurohana," she replied. "And yeah, I decided to inform you about this place, because it seemed you could be useful to the Black Knights. And, from the way you're able to pilot that Knightmare, I'd say I was right. But you know, I'd be more worried about yourself than me. I'm just an informant, you'll be fighting against Brittania. Of course, if we're discovered, we'll most likely all be killed...but alas, I trust Two. I think...if I do that...if the Black Knights do that...we can defeat Brittania." Hopefully I don't sound like I'm praising Two too much...it could be bad if he gets suspicious...but no, as Two, I have accomplished great feats, so it's only natural people against Brittania would praise me.
Premier Alexander Romanov
The girl finally finished destroying the files in her (relatively) little room, and all of her pizza had been packed up and placed in the copilot's seat of the black, gold, and pink Knightmare Frame that used to be Gawain, Zero's personal piece of equipment. She made sure her cat was safe and snug in his carrier, and entered the pilot's seat, starting up the partially-rebuilt mech. "Come on, boy...I know you were partially annihilated by Siegfried and rebuilt using both your own parts, the parts of my other Knightmare, the Lancelot Frontier, and the retro encabulator and Yggdrasil Drive of a Zangetsu, but you can still work, right?" The Knightmare responded by suddenly shutting down. "Oh, come on!" The girl groaned, getting out to go fix her machine...before it would be too late...
Tourmaline
He shook her hand and heard her words of minor concern with uncaring. "Hello, Karin. Thank you for telling me about this place. Obviously, Two has told you that the Black Knights are searching for people with Geass. I have nothing to worry about, either. My life is obviously in danger, but I think this is the only way to make up for what Two has done for us. Also, my parents were part of the Black Knights, so I have them to honor, partially." Tatsuya looked up to Gungnir, resting his hand on it's leg. It's only Britannia. Anyways, Two is here this time, not Zero. Honestly, I feel little doubt that he could live up to his first incarnation. I expect it to be difficult to live up to Zero. Tatsuya continued looking at Karin's mouth to focus on what she'd been saying better. "Thank you. It is only my first time trying Gungnir out, so I have little confidence in my real skills. I will help, though." He remembered what Two had said about Kamine Island and how they were soon going there. "Do you know when Two plans to go to Kamine Island? Now?" He asked, wondering what Kamine Island was like. DL
Alright, this is the time to play dumb. It should keep Two's identity safe for a while, or at least keep me away from having any connection to Two aside from an informant of the Black Knights. "Well, no, I don't. I didn't even know Two planned to go to Kamine Island," Karin said with a slight chuckle. "I'll go ask though, if you want. But I have to leave soon. The school day is almost over, and I don't want my parents to worry about me." Yeah, the parents that don't exist...he'll probably buy it, I mean, it's a fair enough excuse. Now Karin will dissapear for now, and Two will take the stage. Hold on, Kamine Island...Geass...I'm coming for you... With that, Karin left the room, headed for her office. Tourmaline
"Two didn't tell an informant about such an important venture? Don't you find it surprising that the person who recruited me for my Geass doesn't even know about us going to an island solely about Geass?" Tatsuya asked, actually wondering how that could be. Maybe Two just doesn't trust her. Understandable. I'm not in complete trust to her or Two yet, either. I'll just need to observe how everything goes from my own eyes. Tatsuya forgot that he had school. He should have been home for his mother. It's absolutely fine this time, though. She'll be proud of him after learning he joined the Black Knights. Maybe he could even tell her about his Geass. "Yes. Stay safe going home then, please." He kindly requested, getting closer to Gungnir. Once Two gets out... He climbed up Gungnir and entered it, getting it started up. I need a password here. Or an eye scanner. Not many people could imitate a person with Geass. He thought to himself as Gungnir started up. He waited for Two while he was inside it. Once Two would enter the room, he'd tell him he was ready for Kamine Island.
DL
Karin finished changing into her Zero suit, took out the trigger from her pocket, and put away her school uniform. Wow, I didn't even have to use the recording. I guess I'll save it for some other necessity. She twirled the small trigger around her fingers, and placed it in a drawer on her desk. Then, she headed out the door, towards Tatsuya. Once she reached him, and Gungnir, she looked up at the cocpit. "Karin told me you wanted to know when we were going to Kamine Island, right?" she asked. "Well, I suppose it's just right that you know, since you'll be coming along with me. We're leaving quite soon, actually. It'll be in a small force. Me, you, and several more Black Knights. All using Knightmares that have flight programs. Any questions?" Tourmaline
"Yes, I was thinking of that," He replied, turning Gungnir's view to Two's own Knightmare. "Are you capable of defending yourself, or do you tend to have some guards with you?" He asked, having the Gungnir's fists clenched. Gungnir quickly walked away from Two and to the collection of Knightmares. I'm rather excited to see this Knightmare's capabilities. Gungnir, I wonder how useful you'll be. Or will I dispose of you quickly? Gungnir looked back down at Two, unclenching it's fists and kneeling down. "Would we be able to leave now?" Tatsuya asked Two, not knowing the way out of the base if one was riding inside a Knoghtmare such as Gungnir. "Of course, I can simply protect you myself. You are the leader." Otaku-sama
Over the city of Paris, unrest was brewing. Hackers had broken into the mainframes of many of the news outlets and was displaying horrific things. In a blink of an eye, thousands of TVs and monitors all over the city were showing the same video. It flashed videos of horrifically disfigured and mutilated bodies of Chinese soldiers, some of them still in the process of being mutilated by what appeared to be Britannian soldiers. While this horrific slideshow flipped through pictures, each one progressively more gruesome than the last, a male computerized voice spoke through the screens in English, with French subtitles underneath. "People of Paris, it is time to rise up against your oppressors. See what they have done to innocent Chinese soldiers, who have done nothing but protect their country from their imperialistic war. Britannia only wishes for bloodshed, as they have done to you not so long ago." As the voice talked about the Britannian invasion of France, the slideshow switched to images of mutilated French soldiers and videos of French Panzer-Hummel divisions being utterly annihilated. "Britannia must be stopped. Although one may not be able to do it alone, but together, you can overthrow your oppressors and avenge your fallen comrades! France has been oppressed for far too long! Down with the Empire! Long live France!" The video did not stop there, but simply repeated from the beginning, permanently imprinting the images into the unlucky viewers' minds. The shocking propaganda caused many to run in panic, while others were convinced by the video and started to rally in the streets, marching to homes of Britannian citizens and destroying them. Riot police were deployed to attempt to protect innocent Britannians, but slowly, they were overwhelmed as more and more people joined the riots, some of the police turning on their fellow officers to join the mob. ____ Cao Cao once again was residing in his study, but what was once a large map of the world on the wall had been replaced with a large monitor, with multiple divisions in the screen, most showing hacked surveillance of Parisian video cameras and one showing the video being played. As he watched, a messenger entered the study. "Commander, we have reports from Operation Guangzhou," he said, "Encrypted Channel 23 has live feed from Kamine Island" Cao Cao clicked a button on the control and the current videos shrinked down to a small section in the top right corner of the monitor as the rest of it showed images from both squads, one of the ruins and the other with the confrontation between Japanese Burai and a Britannian jet. "What are your orders for their next action commander?" asked the messenger. "Tell them not to engage. We cannot risk being involved in a diplomatic battle with the Japanese. We only need one enemy," Cao Cao replied, not taking his eyes off the monitor. The messenger bowed and scurried away. Cao Cao continued to look at the screen. "Those ruins...What do they mean...?"
DL
"There should not be any confontations awaiting us. It's a small island off of Japan, so I'm not even expecting us to encounter a Brittanian patrol squadron. On the off-chance we DO engage in combat, however, I will decide what to do depending on the size of the enemy. But, yes, I CAN fight. I'd rather not, as my Knightmare is not built to fight, merely to defend me, but I am not helpless in a Knightmare. Of course, having someone nearby for added protection isn't a bad thing. Anyway, go to the briefing room, it's right down the hall. I'll be there soon to give everyone that's coming along the basics of what we're doing. After that, we're moving out." Tourmaline
It's only a small island, apparently. Perfect. It'll be much better than if I had to deal with Britannia or anybody else. Tatsuya exit Gungnir through the cockpit, almost jumping off the whole of it at once. Gungnir obviously closed up. "Perfect. That there should be no danger in the area is a fortune we should cherish. Assuming there are hostile people there, though, what is your plan?" He asked, looking at the briefing room Two pointed to from afar. He took two steps forward and looked back at Two. "What I'll do is obvious. I'll protect you." He said with a completely cold face, but also a determined one. As Two walked away, Tatsuya walked to the briefing room and opened the door. He went deeper into the room and took a seat, waiting for Two. If anybody was staring at him or looking at h, he was certainly ignoring it. DL
Karin looked down a bit as she walked. Yankee
A few rooms away from the briefing room, Yoshi Masako was standing, looking in the mirror that was nailed to the wall in front of him. He had just woken up from a short rest, and was still in no hurry to actually do anything. He took a moment to comb his long white hair, allowing it to just cover his brown colored left eye. He looked at his reflection without releasing even the slightest emotion, then turned away. He looked at the clock on the opposite wall of the mirror, and noticed that he still had some time before he was supposed to be actually doing anything. Yoshi decided that it’d be better to walk around for a while, rather than staying in the small room he was in and sleeping. He made his way out of the room, and closed the door. Yoshi decided that he’d walk around the base for a while, checking on the condition of the Knightmares, and on the other Black Knights. After some time, he happened upon the hallway to the briefing room. He decided that he’d walk down it, not really having any real reason. As he got closer, he realized the door was slightly open. Yoshi calmly made his way to the door, and saw a pair of legs through the small opening of the door, indicating that somebody was inside. However, from what he could remember, nobody was supposed to be in there – at least not yet. He assumed somebody just showed up early, and knocked on the door. As he did, he pushed it open, only to find somebody he hadn’t expected. "...Tatsuya?”
Tourmaline
Tatsuya was thinking about if his decision had been the right one. The decision of joining the Black Knights, of course. It was the best decision at the time. In addition, two people I know are part of the Black Knights - Karin and my mother-. This is good. This means that I have more personal support. He thought to himself as he crossed one leg over the other while sitting, thinking. He then thought about Two and the room he was in. The room he was mostly alone in that Two told him to go to. Was there a reason he was practically alone? Was he early or something? Two probably had more important things to do, but he should be in the room. He'd been thinking of so when he noticed the door being opened. He thought it was Two, but it was somebody much more to his surprise... "Yoshi? You're part of the Black Knights as well?" Good! More personal support.... Yoshi...somebody Tatsuya actually knows from a longer time ago than Karin or the Black Knights. Yoshi was one of his few, real friends. "Sit down. We'll wait for Two." Yankee
To his surprise, Yoshi was right. It was Tatsuya - one of his one true friends. The sight of somebody he thought of as his younger brother sitting in the briefing room of the Black Knights shocked him, but he did not let that feeling show through his face. He took a seat next to Tatsuya, sitting in a comfortable position. "What can he be doing here? Wait, what was it he said? 'We'll wait for Two'? Why would Two be meeting with Tatsuya - much more, why would he be meeting with him in the briefing room?" In the end, he decided that, instead of asking all those questions directly, he'd simply ask him a basic summation of all his questions. "So Tatsuya...what's up?"
Tourmaline
Tatsuya slowly turned his gaze to Yoshi's face, staying completely quiet. He turned his head back and looked to the door of the room, where Two was supposed to come through by. Two wasn't late at all, it's just that Tatsuya was rather early. I was early. I wasn't told by Two that I was early, meaning he either wanted to dispatch of me or needed to do more important things. He turned his view back to Yoshi. But he's already part of the Black Knights, considering how casually he walked through the door without instruction. But this means he may also be coming to Kamine Island. "As you see, I'm here. I'd been offered the chance to join, and I did. As you knew, I'm only one of three in the family who joined this place." Tatsuya stood up, walked to the door and opened it to get a clearer view of Gungnir, instead of just what he remembered. He came back in and sat down where he did before, now looking more at Yoshi's direction. "Two's bringing us to Kamine Island. You should have a Knightmare, considering you're here." DL
Karin walked down the hall, her mind dead set on Kamine Island. She reached the briefing room, to find Tatsuya and Yoshi there. "Glad you're both here. We're going to be leaving soon. We just have to wait for one more person...he should be here shortly." Just then, a man walked in. He wore the Black Knights uniform, and black hair that fell to his shoulders. He bowed slightly as he saw Two. "I am here, as you requested, Master Two," he said. "I hope I have not made you wait long." "You have not, Ryo," Karin said. "We're just ready to leave now. These are your comrades for this mission. You've already seen Yoshi around, and Tatsuya is a new recruit, who I think will serve us well. You two, this is Ryo, one of my most loyal followers. Now that that's settled, all four of us will go to Kamine Island, and there, hopefully, we will find a secret to Geass!"
Tourmaline
Two walked into the room. Good, good. But apparently he, Yoshi and Two would have to wait for somebody else. I wonder who it is... Tatsuya thought as he looked to Yoshi to see what he was doing, but quickly looked back at Two. "We'll only be four? Assuming there are Britannian forces, could we take them out?" Tatsuya asked, kicking himself on the inside because he knew they could. It would be obvious to one who just looked at the Knightmares they had. And they had Two, which was good. Then another person stepped into the room. Tatsuya studied this new person very quickly. Ryo...long, black hair, Black Knights uniform... He recapped, standing up to greet Ryo and Two. "You're already here. Good, then we can leave. You shouldn't get too excited or hasty out there, we're not going into a huge battle. Anyways..." Tatsuya stopped warning Two about getting narrow-minded and simply walked out of the room. As he left, he quickly had gotten into Gungnir and let it warm up a bit, taking a single step closer to the room. He waited for Two, Ryo and Yoshi because unlike himself, they knew the way to the exit.
Makο
Leonard stumbled out of the Math Classroom. He rubbed his eyes and yawned, and looked around. Dang...must have fallen asleep during the class, and they didn't bother to wake me. I have a feeling this will be an "Unsatisfactory" mark on my school record. Oh well...like it matters anyway. He checked his phone, looking at the preinstalled internal clock. School had just ended. He muttered something to himself and began to walk down the hall, towards his locker. About half way to the locker, his phone rang. He continued onward, and flipped it open. "*Yawn* Hello?" He grumbled. "Your target is no longer in the school. You must pursue as necessary." A voice said. "Yea, yea...Wait...the target?" Leo questioned. He remembered. He was here on an assassination mission. He shook his head to wake himself up. "Yes. The target. Where is he now?" Leo asked. "He is in a organization. You might have heard of it, you might have not. Here is the address." The voice answered. Leo listened intently. He copied it down, and hung up. He stared at the address. Odd... He shoved the note with the address in his pocket, and ran towards the nearest exit. On the way, he passed the principals office. He backed up, and looked in. He was there. Leo smirked to himself. He took out a cylinder from his pocket on wrote, 'I'm dropping out.', on it. He opened the door and threw it in, before running out the exit. The principal saw the tube and picked it up. He read what was on there. He sighed, before throwing the tube aside. Just as he was doing so, the canister exploded, releasing a bright flash of light. Leo could hear his screams from the parking lot. He laughed, hopped on his bike, and drove away. "There is nothing like a 30-Second timed Flash Bang to get your point across!" He yelled while speeding away. He remembered the directions and turned towards the direction.
DL
Hmm, so despite being interesting, he's still new to war. I suppose it's to be expected, of course, he WAS just a schoolboy this morning, and now he's a Black Knight, fighting against Brittania. Sure, sending out a big force is easier, and SEEMS safer, but in truth, it would just make us easier to spot. With a small group, we're more mobile, and we're less likely to be spotted. Plus, its not like there'll be any need for heavy combat once we get there...hopefully... "Alright, we're moving out! Ryo, come with me. Yoshi, get in a knightmare that has a flight system." Ryo nodded, and followed Karin as she walked out the room, toward the Knightmare storage room.
