DL
Karin smiled from under the black helmet she always wore, along with a matching suit that was designed like Zero's, whenever she was around the Black Knights. She couldn't risk them knowing her identity was that of a Brittanian princess. It would ruin everything. And she didn't need that. Not when her plans to turn the Chinese Confederation and Brittania against one another had suceeded. She was sitting on the couch inside her office, completely relaxed for a change. Of course they would only release the news of the war declaration the day after it was declared. But it's all good now. My plan has become so much more simple, now that Brittania and the Chinese Confederation are at war. It'll be just a mere step for me to finally live up to Lelou- Her thoughts washed away instantly when she looked at the time. "It's that late already!?" she exclaimed, standing up, and rushing to her desk. I'm gonna be late for school if I don't hurry! She grabbed her school bag, and left her office, hoping no one would notice her. That early in the morning, chances were she could slip out without anyone noticing. After avoiding a pair of Black Knights who were patrolling, she reached the entrance, which opened when she stepped near it. She snuck outside and into the nearby alleyway. Their base was in a deserted place, but she couldn't take chances. She quickly changed from her Zero suit to her school uniform and began running toward Ashford Academy. Premier Alexander Romanov
"Oh, come on! Where did I put that darn part?!?" Inside of a strange set of ruins on a small island off the coast of the United States of Japan, a young woman, or so she appeared, was rummaging through various boxes, looking for something. She had long green hair, golden eyes, jeans shorts, a shirt, and glasses. The room she was in used to be some sort of antechamber, but it now served as her home, with a messy bed, a desk with a computer terminal and various papers, a small machine shop, and a docking structure for a huge black robot that looked incredibly worse for wear. "Nyao?" A creature asked from nearby, and the woman turned to see a Burmese cat sitting on the desk with a strange chrome component for some machine. "The Spurving Bearing!" The woman cried out, dashing over to the cat, whom she started petting. "Good job, boy!" The cat purred as his mistress scritched his head. She then took the part and deftly climbed up to the back of the machine, where she placed the part inside next to a cylindrical plate and an identical part. "Gotta have the Spurving Bearings for the Reto Encabulator. Otherwise, this hunk of metal will never get moving!" She then examined another section of the ruined mech. "Now, where did I place those Hydrocoptic Marsal Vanes?" She wondered aloud as she scratched her head.
Tourmaline
Tatsuya woke up quite early, compared to the usual. Although that was probably because he had to help his mother with chores around the house. She was old after all this time, and Tatsuya loved hearing her stories about when she was part of the Black Knights. It always made him feel disappointed that he couldn't help Japan or the Black Knights against that Britannia. Disgusting country... he whispered to himself as he closed the door to his home in Area 11. He began a short walk to Ashford. Very fortunately for him, his parents were clever enough to have the government mistake them for real Britannians. It let him and his mother live in a lower-upper class level home. This also meant that his home was near the school. He was near the school after a few minutes, and nothing of importance had really happened. I do wonder why I always tend to come so early. There isn't much to do as early as here, anyways. He sighed, as he sat down near the front door of the school and waited for the day to start. Archwing
Richter sat in his dark lab looking at his knightmare "The Phoenix" as it sat in a large glass tube across the room with dozens of wires running in and out of it running scans on it. He sighed softly and began to caress a stone slab the lay on the desk infront of him. The stone was a artifact recovered from the ruins of some old project. It had the geass signal ingraved in it and he traced his finger along the edge untill he reached the botton where a little chip in the stone stopped his finger. Richter's job was to research geass but because of the lack of funding by the empire coupled with the destruction of almost anything geass related during the transition between recent leaders and the lack of a staff to run experiments and errands he spent most of his time developing new weapons for knightmare frames. Hopefully with this new little war of ours ill finally get a chance to have some....Test subjects....... Richter grinned at the thought of sliceing open a chinese soldier and seeing just how far his power could go, he was sick of experimenting on the same small animals and plants, he wanted humans. He turned to the 2 guards that stood at the door. "Has my letter reached cornelia yet?" He said with a devious sparkle in his eye. "No, Sir" the guard said stiffening up. A frown came across Richters face " Well why not?" The guard squirmed a bit under the pressure of richters gaze, his eyes stirred a primal fear in him and he began to studder. "Be- Because they s- said she had more pressing ma- matters to attend to than you little t-tests....." Richter cracked his neck and walked over to a table with small animals like mice and rabbits in containers, reached in and picked up a plump mouse that squeaked before he consealed it under both of his hands. He eyes glowed purple for while he talked. "Little tests? I see..... Mabey she'll feel more inclined to read it if i deliver it personally...." His eyes stoped glowing and he opened his hands revealing a now dead and shriveled up mouse, he tossed it into a trash can that lead to a incinerator and brushed his hands off. Makο
Leonard kept his eyes on the prize. He couldn't avert his attention for one second, otherwise his prey might get away. A drop of sweat tickled down his neck. His palms began to sweat, as he held his Sniper Rifle with a more and more intense grip. His eyes felt dry from keeping his eyes open for so long. He swiftly blinked, making sure not to miss any movement. Suddenly, his radio crackled to life. A male voice came out of it. "What's taking so long? He'll get away!" The voice said. "He won't get away. I have him right where I want him." Leo said calmly into the radio. "Shh...he's moving! He's gonna get away! Quick, take the shot!" The voice responded. "I said I have him!" Replied Leo, a bit irritated. A shot rang out. "You missed! Lead him, Lead him!" The voice yelled. "He won't get away on my watch!" Leo said, briskly. Another shot was fired. Leo looked down from his scope. "He got away." He said, slightly disappointed. He watched as the fat, healthy goose flew behind a wall. "Don't worry, Leo, we'll just have take out tonight." The voice said, laughing. "I suppose...but what if this was a real combat situation? For all we know, everyone could be dead since I missed." "Aw, lighten up. We are on our self announced vacation! Were just here to have fu-" His voice was cut off by the ringing of a cell phone. Leo could hear as he walked away from the mic and answered it. Afer a bit of mumbling, the man came back on. "What is it, Kyle?" Leo asked. "Vacations over early, Leo. We got a job. And you're going to school." Kyle replied. DL
Almost there...at this rate, I can make it! As Karin was nearing Ashford, she decided to slow down a bit as she noticed most people had entered the school already, meaning the school bell must've been a few minutes from ringing. She saw a guy wearing the school uniform, just sittin near the front door of the school. He seemed a few years older than her. He's lucky he can just sit there waiting for the bell to ring, instead of rushing over here at the last minute... Not really interested, she set her thoughts on what the next step for the Black Knights to take would be. She was about to pass the guy and enter the school, when her cell rang. Her eyes windened. Wait, that's my special phone, that only the Black knights know the number of! It must be an emergency if they're calling me...but I can't just answer now, not with someone near me! But if I don't pick up, this guy might question why I didn't pick up my phone... She gulped, and ran inside the school. It shouldn't be that weird to him that I'm running inside the school, after all, I'm almost late. Karin headed for the bathroom as quickly as she could, and into one of the stalls, then picked up her phone. "This is Two; what is it?" she whispered. "Why am I being called at this hour?" "Well," a voice spoke. "The research you requested we do on this 'Geass'... we found out something about it. It holds a relation to Kamine Island." Karin blinked. This is faster than I expected... "Kamine Island, huh...? Well then that's our next destination, as soon as I get back." Karin muttered into her cellphone, smiling, then closed it, and headed out of the bathroom, toward her class.
FTW (For The Wynn)
Well, isn't this just the best thing ever...I hate when this happens. Alan was busy trying to repair the damage that Ibliss received during their last mission. He had been doing this for about the past week now and wasn't making much headway. I don't know why I even bother being a mercenary. Most of the time the pay's lousy, and whatever money I do make is almost always spent on repairing Ibliss to do yet another mission. Meanwhile, I'm busy risking my life to do assassinations and God only knows what else in order to make a living that barely qualifies as a living. Half the time I think I'm only doing this so that I'll be killed in action and the other half of the time I regret leaving the Britannian Army. Of course, he didn't regret leaving. He knew all too well that being a mercenary was better than what they had wanted from him and what they had asked of him. Of course, if anything, the Chinese were worse for what they had did to him. I shouldn't think about these things anymore. I'm not a part of either of them, nor anything else. Right now I'm just a simple guy trying to live a simple, peaceful life. Suddenly, the phone rings. Alan walked away from the Knightmare that had saved his life more than a few times almost regretfully and answered the phone. The mysterious stranger was on the other end yet again with his (or her?) voice masked. "We have a new task for you. We want you to do a reconnaissance mission for us. Makο
Leonard felt the wind in his hair. He felt nothing more refreshing than a burst of speed. He knew it would soon be over, but didn't care. As of now, life had no purpose. It was just him, his bike, and all the wind around him. Soon enough, he regained purpose. He pulled into the driveway of a Scrap Yard, where all discarded and destroyed pieces of machinery were placed. Best part is, after the Rebellion that Zero caused, thousands of Knightmares were dumped into this place, supplying Leo and Kyle with many pieces to construct and repair their Knightmare with. Leo propped his bike up against a small pile of Barrels. He proceeded to cover the bike with a camo covering before lifting one of the Barrels from its original position. It was totally hollow, and below it, there was a pedestal with a button on it. He slowly clicked the button, before placing the barrel back to its original position over it. A few yards away came a low rumble. He casually strolled towards the location, and walked down the newly opened door. After going down a flight of stairs, he came upon many corridors, snaking through the facility. He knew exactly where to go. This place is a Labyrinth, so anyone who go's in without knowing where to go will get lost, and probably die. It was a necessary feature, as this place was all Leo and Kyle had. He continued a little further into the structure, before coming upon a large 1 Mile by 1 Mile space underground. He took a deep breath. Fresh air. All supplied by fans that pumped air into the facility. He looked to the right, and was pleased by what he saw. The Scars of Time, his own personal Knightmare. It was standing on a platform that would lift it to the surface, and be used. We continued a little further, and walked into the facilities command room. Inside were dozens of monitors, papers, cups, empty pizza boxes, and Kyle. Kyle was wearing an old Britannian soldiers uniform, and had is legs propped up on the desk. "Hey, what took you so long?" Kyle asked, not averting his attention from one of the monitors. "I would prefer to enjoy my motorbike rides, thank you." Leo smirked, setting his bike helmet on the table. "Now what about this job?" "Ah! Yes! Well, right now, we don't know anything. All we know is that it's someone in the school, Ashford academy. On your way back, I already enrolled you. Our contact is only using us because you are young enough to go to the school and find the target easily. But we don't know who, where, or why. He said that he would be telling us more as we go along." Said Kyle, as he dub through a pile of boxes. He pulled out an Ashford academy uniform and passed it to Leo. Leo winced. "Are you expecting me to wear this? You know I hate uniforms!" Kyle passed him a school I.D. and about 200 hundred dollars. "Is this enough to get you to do this? After this job, we will be able to afford it." Kyle said. "It? What is it? And how did you get such a massive facility? And what is the huge empty space for?" Leo questioned. "You will know soon enough. For now, get going. The faster you get this done, the faster you can drop out." Kyle replied, turning his attention back to the monitors. Leo grabbed the supplies handed to him and walked to his quarters. This had better be worth it...
Archwing
When richter arrived at the royal palace he waited a hour going through security and waited another 3 hours before the britannian secretary came finally got to him "What is your buisness here today mr...." She flipped through her papers and stopped abruptly "Sorry, Count Rismond" Count Rismond was a false title, given to Richter as a way to keep his real title as head of the geass directorate hidden. " I would like to request a audience with empress Cornelia" The secretary shook her head "Empress Cornelia is not currently accepting audiences except from members of the royal family. Richter expected as much and handed the envelope to her. "Well then, please make sure she gets this.... Tourmaline
During the wait, most of the students had entered the school. It didn't really bother him, though. Tatsuya was the sort of student who never prepared himself or went to his next class until the last minute. The only special part is that he seemed to make it on time anyways, even though he left so late. But it was almost time for even himself to get to class. He closed his eyes and lied his forehead in his open palm thinking about how the day would go. The weather's been very nice, but he still had a bit of a headache like always. I should start sleeping a bit earlier. More strokes of luck like last night, and I think I'll be out of it." He prepared to stand up, grabbing the school's walls to pull himself up easily. As he'd been pulling himself up, he noticed a girl running by. It was funny, though. Not many people get to class later than he does, and those who do are druggies or losers who skip class to do some garbage. What was a bit more surprising was that she seemed surprised that her phone was ringing. It's just a phone call. You should relax." He suggested to her as she ran in. He followed, but he only walked in, not going after her or paying any mind to it. What he did notice was that she went in the direction of the bathrooms, especially at a time like this. He thought about what she could've been doing. Was she just skipping class or was there something more important? More, you don't go in a bathroom to talk on the phone. Whatever it was, they probably won't even meet again. What he decided to do was go to his class, of course. It was past near the end of the hallway. Then you'd just look to your left and find a class. What was interesting to notice was that the bathroom that girl had gone in was on the way there. As Tatsuya passed the bathroom, he decided to slow down a bit as he barely heard speaking from there. He waited for a second, looking at the bathroom and trying to wonder about whether or not she was trying to act like a joke, or if it was actually important. ~Shadow of Alpha~
Meanwhile, inside the walls of the Britannian Imperial Palace, Liliana was walking quickly down the hall towards the Royal Throne Room, while holding her dress up so she wouldn't trip. On her way she bumped into a man with white hair. He gave her an apoligizing look and continued walking. Who was that? she thought while starring at the man. She snapped out of it and continued down the hall, soon she met the guards. "Stand aside, I must speak with my sister." she said mildly irritated. The guards looked at eachother, "Yes, your Highness!" they said obidiently and lowered their weapons. Liliana entered the throne room and walked straight up to the Empress who was sitting on her throne, going through some documents. She bowed down in front of her and said. "Your Majesty". Cornelia looked up for a second, than returned to her paper work. "What is it Lily? I'm quite busy at the moment." Lily stood up and started walking towards Cornelia. "I understand, but I must speak with you." she said in a determined tone. "I do not appreciate you taking control of my troops while on duty. You may have been the Supreme Commander, but that's my role now, so please leave them under my orders unless you consult with me first." Cornelia put down the documents and stood up. "Well I don't appreciate you adressing your empess in that tone, but I do understand your situation." Lily's face lit up. "Therefore I am temporarily removing you from your position." Lily's face instantly changed, but she wasn't stupid enough to question the empress. Cornelia started pacing back and forth. "I will assume the role as Supreme Commander for the time being and you will be--" She was interrupted by a messenger bringing a letter adressed to the Empress saying it was of importance. As the messenger passed Lily, she noticed the Geass symbol in the corner of the envolope. What's this?! What is Her Highness not telling me. she thought while keeping a straight face. Cornelia sat down and read the letter. She put it down and looked at Lily with a serious face. "Nevermind my previous decision. There's been a chang in plans." Lily's ears sharpened and her curiosity was growing. "Due to the large amount of military force already dealing with minor issues, you'll have to go to Kamine Island for a survailence mission." Kamine Island? What would Geass have to do with Kamine Island? Now that I think of it, the woman said she was going to Kami-- Her thoughts were interrupted by the Empress. "Bring 2 of the Royal Guard and 8 ground troopers. I suggest you allow Sir Bradly to accompany you, for safety" Lily smiled. "You underestimate me, your Majesty." she said as she turned her back and walked out of the throne room. Kamine Island, huh? Premier Alexander Romanov
Shikine Island was under attack. But not from any Brittanians or Chinese forces. The 8th Mobile Infantry Division of the United States Self-Defense Forces, commonly known as "Kallen's Crusaders", had split into two sides, the "Red Army" and the "Blue Army". The Red Army was defending the island's critical airstrip and military base, while the Blue Army was attacking the island to secure the base. However, this was not a coup d'etat. This was merely a training exercise. "Alpha Company, fall back! Bravo and Delta, Echo, and Foxtrot Companies, move forward!" General Kallen Kozuki commanded her forces as Blue Army's Knightmare Frames advanced on the base. Blue Army was doing rather well, but they fell into a trap. Red Army's Alpha Company had provided the perfect bait for Blue Army's attack forces, retreating to their objective for the majority of Red Army to ambush their units. The Blue Army's main attack group was surrounded. "Check." Kallen told both sides over the shared communications frequency, telling the Blue Army forces that they had been captured, and the Red Army forces to start firing. Fortunately, the rounds were simply Gefjun Tags, emitting a temporarily disabling Gufjun pulse to whatever Knightmare Frame they hit. Blue Army never stood a chance. DL
As soon as Karin walked out of the bathroom, and turned to head for her class, she froze. She slowly looked behind her. "Wha- it´s you!" she said, recognizing the guy from earlier, the one who was sitting right outside the school. Damn it, did he hear what I was talking about earlier? This is bad, how can I explain why I was talking on the phone inside the bathroom, or why I ran when my phone rang...!? No...in this case the best thing to do is... "A-are you a pervert or something?! What´re you doing sneaking around the girl´s bathroom? Get to class, it´s about to start!" Karin exclaimed, glaring at him with her arms crossed. Perfect, no man can simply be called a pervert and leave it at that. Premier Alexander Romanov
Kallen descended from her Knightmae Frame to shake hands with her opposite, Colonel Fayer, the commanding officer of Shikine Base for 13 years, becoming an expatriate when the base changed over from Britannian rule to Japanese. He didn't mind. He had fallen in love with the island chain Shikine Island belonged to. Fayer had a beach house on neighboring Nii Island, and he was the one that executed the weekly "supply drop practice runs" to Kamine Island. Currently, only a few dozen members of the USSDF, all of them at least Colonel rank, knew about the secret being kept on Kamine Island. A few select Brittanians in the royal family and the military, Cornelia included, knew, as well as key officials in every nation. To the world's militaries, at C.C.'s request, Kamine Island, along with similar sites across the planet, were designated DMZs. The area 2 kilometers around any known Thought Elevator site was off-limits to any civilian personnel, and military personnel were severely restricted in their abilities inside of the DMZs. Shikine Base was just one of several military installations located outside of these DMZs, poised to prevent any trespassers from possibly uncovering the secrets of the Thought Elevators. "Good job with that ambush, General Kozuki." Fayer told Kallen as he shook her hand. "A little payback for when we were the attackers." Kallen replied, smirking. "We gathered our forces on Nii Island, and headed straight here-" "Only to find the place deserted." Fayer chuckled. "You decided to take the day off and show my men the Island!" "It's not my fault your XO and one of your battalions is still back in Tokyo, preparing for another Black Knights attack!" Fayer chided. "I mean, YOU asked me to fill in, since my know-how of the local geography would give me side an edge!" "I do admit, when you decided to actually fight, you fought well! You really do know every nook and cranny of this rock, don't you?" "I know most of them. But boy, do I feel stupid for falling for that classic bait-and-switch!" "Sometimes, you win some..." "Sometimes, you lose some!" Fayer completed, both commanders having a good time. They then noticed a strange Knightmare Frame landing nearby... Makο
Leo had decided to take the long way to school. He was dressed in the uniform, I.D. in his shirt pocket and money in the other. He squirmed as he rode on. Why does this thing have to be so snug? He thought to himself while riding. He pulled onto a major highway and rode further. After a few minutes of riding, he could see the school. Ashford Academy is what the large sign at the entrance read. He sighed and pulled in. Not exactly looking forward to this. He parked in an available parking spot and got off. After tying his helmet to the bike, he began to walk towards the school's main grounds, flipping open his cell phone in the process. He punched a few numbers and called up Kyle. "Whats up? Did you get there alright?" Kyle responded. "I got here just fine. Now, did our contractor give us anymore details? I don't want to be walking blindly into this." Leo said, patting his I.D. "Looks like you are going to have to. He has given us no more details, as of now. But hang tight. He should respond eventually." Kyle replied. Leo shut his phone, cutting off communications. He slid it back into his pocket and picked up his pace. After all, he didn't want to be too late for his first class.
Tourmaline
Tatsuya noticed how she seemed worried or surprised about something. And she even called him a pervert. She was absolutely trying to hide something, but there was no reason to hide it from somebody who didn't care. Tatsuya thought about using his Geass on her. Considering how she'd been acting, maybe it would've been more relaxing if he was a teacher, or perhaps a Britannian Soldier. There was no need for that. It was just a nervous girl. I was more wondering why you seemed so nervous. Of course, class is starting very, very soon, but you came in particularly late. My class is near the end of the hallway. He pointed to it, the emotion on his face showing very little changed. She may have thought he'd been surprised or anxious for what she accused him of, but he kept the look that was most honest at the moment -a calm one-. But he did take a step towards her. A single one. You have no need to find me suspicious. All I know is that you were talking on the phone in a bathroom. Actually, I should be suspicious of you. Are you not the one shoeing signs of being secretive? It doesn't matter, since what you were doing probably won't do anything too bad. If you really think I'll do anything harmful, would it be less overwhelming or such if I showed you a proper secret of my own? He speeched, and was talking about his Geass. Worst case scenario, he becomes the Principal or somebody of high influence while she's running away. That might keep her quiet.
DL
W-what? Who the heck is this guy? He's not even fazed by me calling him a pervert! Alright, but nothing´s gone too wrong yet. he doesn´t know I plan to go to Kamine Island, or that I´m associated with the Black Knights. So all I have to do is pretend to be an average school girl...I mean, I doubt any secret he would show me would be of any interest to me... Just then, the bell rang. Karin looked behind her a bit, then turned back to Tatsuya. But right now, I need to escape this guy, to save myself from having to explain... "Come with me!" Karin told Tatsuya, dragging him by his shirt to the outside of the school. When the time is right, I can use 'that' to make my escape... Once they rounded the school´s corner, they came upon the side of the school with no nearby windows, and that was deserted. She stopped dragging Tatsuya and brought her face a little closer to his. "Alright, if you show me your secret, I suppose it might get me comfortable enough to tell you a bit about my own," she said with a small smile. Premier Alexander Romanov
Kallen and Fayer relaxed in the Officer's Lounge. "So, just to remind you, we will have another series of combat simulations tomorrow, this time to see how well you can handle increasingly tougher waves of enemies." "I can take it." Fayer boasted. "There's a reason they decided to keep me here." "Colonel..." Kallen asked after a bit of silence. "Gift-Bearing Greek." "Codeword accepted." Fayer replied. "You can talk about her." "How is she?" "I see her every few months. She's working on some secret project, which is why she asks for all sort of Knightmare Frame parts. You remember how she had something under a tarp when she moved in that she refused to let anyone see?" Kallen nodded. "Good. If she's busy, it keeps her out of our hair." Fayer continued. "She's a wonderful woman. Smart, quick, and a bit quirky, but she has a heart of gold. Only thing I dislike about her is her cat." Kallen was puzzled. "Her CAT?!? She has a CAT?!!?" Fayer solemnly nodded. "She has a cute little Burmese tom. The thing's perfect for her. However, there's just something about that cat that creeps me out." He leaned in and whispered. "It has this...this gleam in its eyes...like its too smart for its own good." Kallen chuckled. "Very funny, Colonel." Fayer was about to protest, but he stopped and sighed. "Hmm...Maybe you're right."
Tourmaline
He followed her, wondering what she was planning to do by getting away from class, and not closer to it. Especially when class just started. "Fine. I'll follow you." He agreed to her actions, noting that this was quite an unusual day. She's quite the fun girl. Not even odd. And even then, that is a good thing. He continued following her, gaining a bit of a grin on his face. As she stopped dragging him along, he quickly analyzed the area. Closed and the sort of place you wouldn't check for stuff. Pretty cool place, although he stopped wondering about irrelevant thungs as her face approached his. "My secret? Yes, the one I promised I'd show." He moved a bit of his hair away from his right eye. "I won't harm you with it, since I can control it's use." He stopped smiling, letting his right eye be consumed by that familiar color and sigil that a Geass does to an eye. As his eye was consumed, he didn't say much. "It allows me to change how one precepts me or anything I'm holding. You don't absolutely need to tell me your own secret, since you're so bent on keeping it hidden, but I'd hate to bother you more. Unless there's something else you wanted." He kept the Geass in his eye and slightly pulled his face away from hers.
Otaku-sama
Tianzi sat in the centre of a recording room, with nothing decorating its plain beige walls but the chair she sat on, a desk with a speech written on it and a microphone with circular breath guard hanging in front of her. The room was unbearably quiet, almost deafening. She took a deep breath and muttered a few tongue twisters to warm up her tongue and to get rid of any stuttering. She measured the distance her mouth had to be from the mic with her thumbs and pinkies of her hands. Despite doing this many time before, she was always nervous before addressing the public. At the same time, she relished that fact that it was one of the few ways she could directly speak to the people. A door, which appeared to have sliced itself out of the wall, opened, and a man wearing a large set of headphones poked his head into the room. "One minute, your Highness," he said, with his head bowed down in respect. Tianzi simply nodded and the man left, closing the door. Tianzi then waited, reading through her speech quickly and trying to keep her nerves down. The red light on the wall began to flash, indicating the ten second mark. Tianzi took a final deep breath before the light became steady. "Greetings, people of the Chinese Federation. This is your Emperor addressing you. Today, we live in a tumultuous time. Despite our best efforts, we are now at war. Now, I must ask of you, my people, to work to the best of your abilities, so that you may support our brave soldiers on the front lines. However, even though we are at war with Britannia, I do not wish for you to consider them your enemies. Our soldiers do not fight to kill Britannians for vengeance, but to protect the homeland. Although we, as a country, are hostile to Britannia, do not make them hostile in your hearts. If an injured Britannian asks for your aid, do not hesitate to give him aid. We must treat them as our own family. They are our brothers who have simply lost their way, and as good siblings, we must guide them to the correct path, even if it means using force. May the Heavens bless all of you and our country." The red light turned off and Tianzi gave a sigh of relief. The door to the room opened and she walked out to be greeted by her attendants. "That was a very moving speech, your Highness," said one of the eunuchs as he dabbed her face, which had become slightly sweaty. The other attendants did the same as they swiftly adjusted her dress and busied themselves attending to every thing the believe to be the Emperor's need. Tianzi simply sighed and walked down the hall, hoping in her mind that her speech had an effect on the lynch mobs that recently took to the streets. ___ Cao Cao sat in his study in a plush seat while sipping a cup of tea. His radio was tuned into the Federation's official radio station. As the Empress gave her speech, Cao Cao simply stared into his tea and stirred the loose tea leaves in his cup. After the speech was finished, the national anthem played and Cao Cao had finished the last of his tea. "Oh foolish girl, your idealism will get you killed one day..." Cao Cao muttered to himself as he got up to exit the study. He walked out to a metal lined hallway, his boots making a dull thud as he walked down the hallway. He then walked into the bridge, all the monitors manned and the large window had various holographic displays of radar, infrasound and others. The center of the window opened to a dry desert battlefield with a superior Chinese force crushing the last of an attempt of a skirmish by Britannia. His battle station was far apart from the battle, simply observing the battle. "Everything went according to plan I am sure," he half asked and stated. All of the personnel made positive remarks. "The battle resulted in 50 captured Sutherland frames, 498 captured infantry, 30 Britannian casualties and three Chinese injuries," the head operator reported. "Excellent work. Return to base when the prisoners are processed," Cao Cao said before turning to leave the bridge. Before he could, he was intercepted by a messenger. "Speak quickly," Cao Cao said curtly. "My liege, Operation Guangzhou has linked the target to a small isle off the coast of Japan. How shall we proceed?" the messenger ask, bowing the whole time. "Send an infiltration squad. Make sure they do not alert any of the guards or cause any casualties. We have Britannia as an enemy, we don't need another," Cao Cao said before walking away. The messenger bowed and left. Makο
Leo felt as though he didn't trust this school. He had done a brief check of history on this school, and it had many strange events happen in the past. So, as a safety measure, he decided to do a brief perimeter check of the school. He left out of a nearby exit on the way to class and turned a corner. He turned only to find 2 kids, a male and a female, in some sort of discussion. He quickly hugged the wall and stood behind a pillar. He poked his head out to see them, but couldn't without them noticing he was there. He stood still for a few more seconds before his heart skipped a beat. He felt as his pocket began to rumble. He let out a silent sigh, relieved that he had decided to put his phone on vibrate. He snuck away from the two and began to walk down the hall. He answered the phone. "Make it quick." Leo answered. "The target in question is an adult. 5'6" and Male. He is a teacher. Math. He is trained in combat, so be careful when engaging." A voice answered back. "Wha- Who is this?" Leo said, desperately. He heard a click on the other side, indicating that the other man had hung up. He closed his phone. The best I can do is trust that he was my contractor. Boy, I hope I'm right. Leo slid down a knife from his coat sleeve and proceeded to his next scheduled class. Math. DL
W-What?! This guy...is that the...? How did he obtain the Geass?! No...more importantly, this is an amazing discovery. This situation went from bad to really good, just like that. And I don't even have to use the smoke bomb in my pocket to get away... she thought. I wonder how useful he could be to the Black Knights... Karin slipped off her bag and began shuffling through it. She finally drew out of it a small piece of paper and a pen. She scribbled something down, and handed the paper to Tatsuya. "Um...yes, there is something else. I would like you to go to this adress after school. I think you'll like what you see there. Oh, and make sure no one follows you. Well, I have to go to class now, bye-bye," she said, with a small smile, as she began heading for the front of the school. Alright, hopefully he'll actually use the adress to the Black Knight's Headquarters I gave him...but wait! What if he's working for Brittania?! He never did say anything about it......oh well, if it comes to that, we can just kill him. I know how his Geass works, I can make counter-measures. Still... Karin thought, looking down at the ground. I'd rather not have to kill him...he can be a valuable asset, with that Geass of his...not to mention, someone as interesting as him should be fun to study~
~Shadow of Alpha~
Lily walked into the Knightmare Storage Facility, where they kept the Knightmares that hadn't been used for longer periods of time. She was changed from her dress to a white suit designed for Knightmare piloting. She walked straight up to the railing and looked over a large, four-legged Knightmare. "Where's Sir Bradley, my knight?", she asked one of the two Royal Guards accomanying her. "He's currently onbord the Caelum, location is 4B-8F.", the guard replied while looking at a portable computer screen. The South Pacific Ocean, huh. She thought and calculated, That should give him enough time to meet me on the outskirts of Kamine in about 3 hours, if the Caelum uses max. speed. Then she pulled up an earpice and clicked a button, "Andre?". A voice was heard from the other end. "Yes, I will meet you at location V8-D2. ... No, it's only survailence, but I'm not sure that's the whole story.", she clicked the button and placed the earpiece back into her pocket. She turned to one of the professors, "Fire up The Valkyrie! We're leaving immideatly." She started walking towards the door, when it opened. A man stepped through the door, it was the same man she had bumped into earlier. That's the guy from earlier, the one who sent the letter. He's the reason I'm going on this mission. In a somewhat demanding, but also frightened voice she said, "Who are you?".
