We can also shape reality to our own meaning if we learn to understand the Bible better...

Dude, your whole theory is based on the idea that the bible, a book that has gone through many changes, is right. AND that we have misinturpeted it. AND that if we understand the words of a book that we can shape reality to what we want it. Probability 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001/100

My good sir... you must understand i cant show you the proof because it is not my place... Not my destiny...

Destiny? Destiny is a myth. Things don't happen for a reason. They just happen. And until you can prove destiny is real, your theory is crap.

looking into them they are moral codes that we are allegdedly supposed to obey to transcend as gods when really we were divine all along...
In translation to his propaganda: The Ten Commandments are just moral codes that are ment to be used in society.

We are gods, the ones who can govern the world with the our own hands.

Hoho, I like that.

And destiny doesn't exist in the form of the word destiny. Destiny exists in the form of the word "predestination". Which is a lot different since it is backed by science, sounds cooler, and is a theory instead of whatever the hell "destiny" is.

Oh, and while this isn't even remotely on topic, it pisses me off that "miracle" has a religious connotation. Because "miracle" means something that cannot be explained through our current means or knowledge. So whenever I comment about how the snow cancelling a test I wasn't prepared for was a "miracle", people are like "hur hur but ur atheist u dun beleeeeeve in miracles". <___<

One person came up with the theory that the whole story of receiving the Ten Commandments was about a volcano. Doesn't seem likely, but it actually fits the evidence really well (only problem is that there's no sign of volcanic activity in the area).

This was a while back, but saying somebody "invented" slavery is like saying somebody invented recreational sex. A hundred different people at a hundred separate times in history decided it would be awesome if somebody else did the work for them. [s]That would be awesome.[/s]

I will believe humanity is divine when ONE person is capable of producing ALL of this. You know what, forget a boulder so heavy He can't lift it, is there a website so awesome He couldn't design it? Yes. TVTropes.

It's competing with Twilight for the worst fiction awards.

Seriously, this thing encourages so many bad things, including the death penalty for pathetically minor crimes. Terrible, terrible book. The world needs to move beyond it already.

It's more motivating than most things today, and is less restricting than you give it for. Seldom are anything in the bible considered Law, even by the Catholic Religion. In fact, most of the things you hear are primarily fact or by a single group of radical individuals who ripped it out of context. And those people were never "right"/sane to begin with so you cannot fault the book.

Nor has it changed more than certain recipes based on flavor. Again, going back to the whole guideline/motivation over laws and belief factor. It's lovely to place a blame on the easiest thing though isn't it?

Good read, if you can take it for its lessons rather than its words.
