Recommended Posts

First to five wins, winner gets +rep and 50 points for the loser. Your card must be new, not premade.

FOR A VOTE TO COUNT, YOU MUST LIST 2 REASONS. PICTURE AND PRESENTATION DO NOT COUNT!

I will post my card once a challenger has posted their card. No reserving a spot to face me, first ot post a card faces me.

Chillaccino:

Power Tool Wyvern

EARTH/Machine-Synchro-Effect/Level 6

ATK/2100 DEF/2300

Once per turn, you can change this card's Battle Position. This card gains 100 ATK or DEF for each Equip Spell Card in your Graveyard, depending on this card's Battle Position. Also, once per turn, you can remove from play 2 Equip Spell Cards from your Graveyard to Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster from your hand. It cannot attack this turn.

Me:

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by discarding 2 Spell Cards from your hand to the Graveyard. This card gains 100 ATK for each Spell Card in your Graveyard. If this card would be destroyed by battle, you can remove from play a Spell Card in your Graveyard to negate the attack. If you have more than 14 Spell Cards in your Graveyard, you can remove from play this card and all the Spell Cards in your Graveyard to Special Summon 2 Aqua-Type monsters from your Deck except "Kraken of the Deep".

Uh, no Summon conditions on Wyvern? Assuming generic.

Both don't feel that playable, but Wyvern a tiny bit more so since its Summon-effect makes it a half-viable stepping stone to higher levels. I'd probably rather vote neither, since both feel pretty bad, but I'm going to go for Wyvern. That slight bit playable, and Kraken's last effect feels like it'll never trigger.

hallow leo ;)

I vote chilla.

- Kraken's last effect is kinda extra. If you are trying to stall, the cost to keep it on the field is too much. And there are better card choice for stalling. If your goal is to activate your last effect, then this card is not playable for 1) the stalling effect is strongly preventing the last effect from activating, 2) this card probably won't survive long enough to see 14 spells in the graveyard. Of course this is also depending on your deck style, but you can probably summon 2 aquas in fewer cards/turns. Not a bad one, this card still has its applications in decks that utilize removed spells.

-Wyvern, i think this card is playing safe. Works well with equip searchers like power tool dragon as an accel support >.> maybe that's why used powertool in the name?

kkthx

Kraken could be teched into Flip Trolls and has more than one use (WATER decks, Spell-Heavy decks that want a quick beatstick etc.), while PTW seems (as 42.42.564 said) like it's playing safe. I would make more effort to go for PTD that in it as all it does is complicate things. Kraken is a better card.

I vote Leo.
