Well first person to post the card is my opponent, but don't post it until your happy with it. :)

I'll post mine, update the OP after I have an opponent.

This card's Type is also treated as Thunder. When this card is Summoned, designate 1 monster your opponent controls. That monster cannot attack as long as this card is on your field. This card's attack cannot be negated. Once per turn, after this card attacks an Attack Position monster, it can attack once more.

Well, I'll give it a try...

Lore:

If this card attacks a FIRE monster, destroy the monster immediately without applying Battle Damage. When this card is selected as an attack target, you can discard 1 Level 2 or lower monster to halve the ATK of the attacking monster. Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed by battle, you can halve its ATK instead. When this card's ATK becomes lower than 500, you can Tribute this card to add a Level 4 or higher WATER monster from your Deck to your Hand.

It relates to Whirlpool, which hurts your opponent each turn (in this case, through halving ATK). In addition, it's last effect relates to it's ability, Torrent, in the sense that as it gets attacked, it gets weaker (ATK-wise). Then, once it reaches 500, it can trade itself in for a stronger WATER monster.

This is my card :

Lore:

When this card is summoned, place three "Energy" Counters on every monster on the field. (Max. 8) If a monster with an "Energy" Counter on it attacks this card, you can choose one of the following effects :

- Decrease the ATK of the Attacking monster by 500.

-Place two "Energy" Tokens on this card.

Once per turn, you may remove one "Energy" Counter from this card to gain 400 Life Points. Once per turn, you may remove five "Energy" Counters from this card to gain 1200 Life Points.

It sort of relates to things like Giga Drain.

Very sorry to say it but as you can see, zextra pipped you to the post dingo, sorry.

You've both thought quite of of the box though, there more interesting than my effort by far.

Accepted Zextra.

voting starts now, first to 3.

Am I the only person who gets this God dam script code that goes over ever single post I edit, I left the OP blank and it still leaves its mark. .

Can voters please just look at Zextra's card and my card and vote for your favourite, first to 3 votes, thanks...

Wow...I didn't expect so many people to think that it's OP'ed...

I mean, it does require you to discard a Level 2 or lower monster just to use its effect, so unless you have an endless supply of them, well...

Sorry about my rant...

@Thermatic - I love your new avi :) Suicune's one of my favorites!

I always seem to like the blue-colored legendaries for some reason :)

Articuno (though I don't like using it in battle), Suicune, Kyogre, Dialga, Lugia (since it's blue to some extent). However, I like both Latios and Latias

In my point of view, I'd say that your card flows better, since all the abilities/moves are consistently connected.

Therefore, I'm not complaining about votes towards your card, but I'm just annoyingly rambling...

Sorry about that ^^

Articuno does look the best out of the 3, I would find Zapdos more useful though.

Suicine, Rayquaza (I don't like any of the ruby/sapphire/emerald legendaries to be honest), Dialga, Lugia, I prefer Latios. :D , Zekrom is my favourite from black/white.

blah, its only natural to ramble, especially if the votes haven't been explained in detail.

but your far more diplomatic than just about anyone else on here, so don't worry.

@Dingo is Cool

Thanks very much.

I do like Gallade myself quite a bit, incase you didn't realise in my sonic card set I posted you a link to one you could use as an avatar (only if you want to, its not like I own it or anything).

I also love milotic, I've played emerald to death and I never did get a feebas, so hard to find, 6 squares in about 1000 squares of river to be searched through rigerously within 24 hours.. -_- and if its of the wrong nature, you couldn't even max out its beauty anyway.

Alteria I'm not so bothered about, there are cooler dragons around and it never seemed that tough to me.

I absolutely love lanturn though, water/electric = win, amazing type combination with massive HP stat. Its a shame that the designers made it look so bland..

sorry for not giving detailed vote. I don't think mijumaru is oped. The combination of the second and third effect actually does the "let see what we will do, tuner for a kill or stall for synchron". Discarding cards may do you a big favor to get monsters on the field quickly, but how often do you have level 2 or lower in your hand? Once per turn makes the third effect reasonably balanced as multiple monsters can take mijumaru down easily, not to mention the weak little 900 ATK. I just think that the last effect is not needed from the card design perspective. You opponent will probably take majumaru down in one turn. When you translate pokemon moves into yugioh effects, what is more likely to be seen is a bunch of "pokemon effect" being mashed together. So nothing much can be said about the flow i guess. I would vote for mijumaru without the last effect, and also i didn't like the first effect just personally. Thermatic's card is a play safe card to me, although i still think that it does a bit too much, not effect wise but subject-wise(or move wise if u will). I like the stun effect ;p.

Suicine, Entei & Raikou is the best lengendary pokemon SET okay? thx

42.42.564:

Thanks, thats definitely explained enough.

I would agree about the legendaries also, they are perhaps the most believable legendaries, but the coolest as well.

Dialga is pretty sweet though.

@Hila

Gorebyss over Huntail IMO

Whats with the Bellsprout? :D

And even though we are discussing pokemon, the main purpose of the thread is to vote for your favourite card (mine or Zextra's) it is a card contest after all, thanks.
