.:Blu:.
((Hotaru, that's mediation at the cost of Flint's well-being, I like it lol. To make it interesting, Michael won't be able to find any more bounty posters except for this one.)) "Kid?! You look about the same age as me! I'm just a bit shorter is all!" Flint shouted angrily at being called a kid by someone who's about the same age. When the young gunman charged in to punch Flint, Flint thought he was ready to counter when he saw an incoming punch. However, Flint didn't saw it coming when the gunman changed his attack. Luckily, but also unfortunately, for Flint, Katie stepped in the way and kicked Flint into the wall of the restaurant. "Gahhh!" Flint yelled as he went flying straight into the way. A loud thud accompanied the impact, and Flint slid to the floor slowly. Flint was pretty much half-unconscious and dizzy, proven by a ring of stars circling his head. His hair was also pretty messed up, and a bit of drool could be seen on his mouth. When the young gunman walked off, he turned to Flint and said that he'll return the punch Flint gave him. Flint, however, was way to dizzy to even hear what the guy had to say. When the young gunman finally walked off, Flint regained his consciousness and arose from the ground, still a bit dazed. "Oh man, it feels like I collided with a train.... Huh? Hey! Where is that kid! I haven't settle the score with him yet!" Flint exclaimed, his energy seems to be normal again. "Kai, have you seen that punk that probably used a dirty move on me?! I'll make sure that kid get's the message!" Flint proclaimed with a comically angry face while cracking his knuckles.
Hotaru987
Katie stared at the boy confused. Why did he have a sudden change of heart in fighting her. Could it be....Did he..? Katie shook her head. "No he couldn't have seen through it....Nobody ever has." She continued to watch the boy walk off, only turning to Flint when he finally got up. "About time you lazy bum. I thought you were going to have me do all the work." She said but she didn't think it was heard. "Why do I even try?" Katie sighed. "Look if you don't calm down then my boot is going to find it's way to your face again." She spoke as if she was telling someone the whether. Though the more she thought about kicking him again the more tempted she was to do it. But then I might kick out what little intellect he has left. With a sigh she grabbed Ruth, and put the wanted poster into her jacket pocket. "I think we should find a place to stay while we're here. Then stock up on more bullets - Damn it Flint you broke idiot!" She suddenly yelled when she realized that she was going to have to fork over the cash until they caught another bounty.
.:Blu:.
Hearing Katie's warning, Flint was a bit unnerved but then realized something. "Wait, again? Gah! You kicked me?! Now why would you do that Kai, I'm your teammate! If you're going to kick someone it should be that other kid!" Flint whined. Flint then finally calmed down, though he seemed reluctant as he crossed his arms and pouted a bit. "Jeez, you didn't need to kick me so hard, that felt like I collided with a train...." Flint muttered to himself, trying to keep his voice low so Katie would hear what he was saying. Katie then began to follow Katie, hearing her suggestion about finding a place to stay. "A place to stay? Hehe, alright I'm cool with that." Flint said casually because he didn't have to be the one to worry about money. Flint was a bit unnerved when Katie yelled at him for being broke, to which a sweat drop appeared on his head. "I-It isn't my fault, really." Flint said, slowly backing up a bit. Soon the two had arrived at the cheapest inn in Silver Town. The place looked a bit dangerous as most of the people who are staying here are hardened gunmen. However, Flint didn't seem to mind, in fact, he held a smile on his face and even said hello as he passed by some of the gunmen hanging out in the lobby. The gunmen gave the two youngsters strange looks. Most young gunmen here stay at better hotels because of their parents funding them, but Flint and Katie didn't have that type of luxary. Walking to the check-in counter, Flint leaned his back casually against the counter and looked around the place with curiosity while he let Katie handle the business. "Well, this is highly unusual.... Two kids staying at a motel like this. I see that you two are gunmen. Well, how may I help you two gentlemen?" the innkeeper asked. A customer's a customer, and the innkeeper didn't care who wanted to stay at this inn, as long as they have money to pay for it.
Desu the Blue Nerd
It had been a long day and Michael was exhausted from looking around town for that wanted poster. He couldn't find a single one anywhere. Now he was just walking into the cheap motel he had been staying in for the past couple of days. His eyes were closed as if he was sleepwalking and the way he walked seemed like it. "I can't believe those little bastards got the only poster in town..." He walked up to the counter actually coming between two other people. "Hey old man. I'll be paying for another night in my room." He opened his eyes as he grabbed some money from his pocket and placed it in front of the counter. He then froze and a sweat drop appeared on his head. "There's two little bastards next to me, isn't there...?" He inched his head torwards first the girl twerp and then the boy twerp. Then back to the man. His face slammed into the counter. "Oh s***." Hotaru987
Once again Ruth was tied up outside of the inn that they managed to find. "Don't worry Ruth. I'll find a nice stable to put you in. Just because we have to stay in this terrible building doesn't mean you can enjoy a nice stable to rest in." Katie really did spoil her horse, but she couldn't help it. Until she met Flint, Ruth was pretty much her only companion, and she loved her horse to death. Katie smiled petting the horse then following Flint into the cheapest inn they could find at Silver Town. There were a lot of rough characters in there, but as always Flint smiled at them as if they were everyday nice people. Thankfully he let her do all the talking - she was the only one with money. "We need two seperate rooms." She instantly said. Katie wasn't about to share a room with a boy who was about her own age, even if he didn't know that she was a girl. "Also where is the shower here?" Katie doubted there was one in the room she was given back in West Town. She just hoped one of those braindead gunmen behind her didn't fancy a shower. That is if they were public showers. The last time that happened....I said I was sorry....But at least he won't be telling anyone my secreat. "So how much?" After paying for the food she only had just over 4,000. Her money had never went down so fast, and she had almost 6,000 when they first entered the town! Sadly the man never did get to tell her how much because that boy from earlier came in and rudely cut in front of her. "......Flint....I think your boyfriend is back." She then said to the boy, "Hey kid, move the hell out of the way. I'm tired, and annoyed because this idiot-" She pointed to Flint, "Has no money at all, leaving me to pay for everything. Now either move or I'm going to kick Flint in the face."
.:Blu:.
((Last post for me tonight)) "(That kid.... Arrg, wait until I see him again, then I'll give him a beating he won't forget!)" Flint thought to himself with an angered face and flames flowing wildly in his eyes. Flint then held up a fist and clenched even tighter while thinking about how the apple core was thrown at his head. "(I got the poster first, so legally it is my property! It doesn't matter if he was going to take it first, in the end it's still mine!)" Flint thought to himself. In all truthfulness, Flint wasn't really mad about the poster being his, he was mad because of how he couldn't settle the score with the gunman from before. Flint is the type of person who will pick a fight and end it in that fight. Not being able to end the fight kind of left Flint with a bad feeling. Maybe it's just Flint's hot-blooded nature. Flint then turned to face Katie and his anger was replaced by a bit of nervousness. "(Ehh, maybe it's not a good idea to finish the fight in front of Kai. Afterall, that was one powerful kick.)" Flint thought to himself. "Two separate rooms huh? That'll be 500 daploons." the innkeeper said. "You'll find the bath house on the second floor. It's a big room, you can't miss it. If you want a private shower, it will set you back 200 daploons more." the innkeeper explained. However, his explanation might've been for nothing as the young gunman from earlier today went to the front without even noticing Flint and Katie. However, Flint noticed very well when Michael walked towards the counter. Flint was ready for round 2. Flint completely ignored Katie's comment because he only had one focus at the moment, and that is finishing what he started earlier. However, once Katie mentioned about Flint having no money and telling him that she was going to kick Flint, Flint's jaw fell to the ground in shock. "Hey you're suppose to be on my side Kai!!!" Flint shouted comically. Flint then regained his composture, and a fiery aura could be seen around him. "Stand back Kai, I'm going to finish what I started." Flint said, not even thinking about the damage he would cause if he would start a fight in an inn like this. .... Hotaru987
Katie ignored the two when she heard the innkeeper tell her the prices, though she was more interested about the bathing situation. When she heard that they had a private bath, she had already agreed to pay the extra money without hearing how much it was. “It’ll be worth it.” Katie said before placing the 700 daploons onto the counter for the innkeeper to pick up. “Flint please don’t start a fight in here. I can’t afford to pay for any damages you and the other idiot may cause.” Though she was sure that she was going to be ignored again so instead she left the two to go to her room. She wanted to check out the room. The first thing she noticed was that the walls were thin, so she would have to be careful if she decided to speak in her real voice. After finding the rooms she noticed that they were given rooms right next to each other. “Of course.” Katie decided to head back down stairs to see what the two idiots destroyed – though she hadn’t heard anything from downstairs – and what she was inevitably going to have to pay for. “Flint are you finished down here?” Katie made sure the bounty flyer was safely in her jacket pocket, before sauntering over. “Please tell me I won’t have to pay for anything.” At the word ‘pay’ she glared at Flint simply for him being broke. Though this does give me an excuse to make some grown men cry in a game of cards. A smirk of anticipation crawled onto her face from the thought. She was going to have a lot of fun. Desu the Blue Nerd
He looked at the female twerp. "I rather be the one to kick this timeif you don't mind. You can kick him later while he's down." He was going to turn to Flint but a simple 'ahem' caught his attention. It was the innkeeper. "This is only 100 daploons. The price is 200." Michael was pissed but he didn't want to waste his time on the innkeeper. "Grrr...you raised the price. Now it's double the amount that it used to be for that piece of s*** room." Michael sighed and reached into his pocket producing another 100 daploons and putting it on the counter. The innkeeper smiled and took the money. Michael turned to Flint who was clearly ready for a fight. "I hope you wrote that will. Well it doesn't really matter. I'm still going to get that poster." He didn't want to destroy anything and hve to pay for it but it looked like this guy really just didn't care. Michael quickly brought his foot up to his foot and then went to kick the hyperactive male twerp. He was planning on kicking him out the door and then follow him out there. .:Blu:.
((NoBeginning, try to lower the cussing please. Hotaru, once again you'll have to be the mediator, and try to convince Michael to talk it out, that's crucial to the story.)) CHAPTER 3: THE THREE KINGS Focusing on the battle at hand, Flint completely ignored what Katie said. It came into one ear and out the other as quickly as it was said. The innkeeper didn't really seem to care about the two getting into a fight, as long as they had the money to pay for the damages. Flint gritted his teeth and clenched his fists when he heard what the gunman had said to him. "You'll be the one who needs the will after I'm finish with you!" Flint, comically enraged, pointed to the gunman and proclaimed. In his state of rage, Flint was caught off guard when the gunman kicked him, sending him flying towards the door. However, Flint stopped himself by putting his palm onto the ground, and pushing upward, allowing him to somersault to safety, landing with one knee on the ground. Flint looked up at the gunman, and began to yell comically. "Hey that was a cheap shot! You kicked me while I wasn't ready!" Flint yelled before getting back up. Katie then walked down the stiars and asked Flint a couple of questions. Flint looked to Katie before answering. "Of course I'm not done yet, and I haven't broke anything! Well, at least not yet.... I can't assure that this guy's bones won't be broken after I'm finish with him!" Flint proclaimed. "Take this!" Flint rushed towards the gunman, his fist up. Getting close enough to him, Flint aimed a fist right towards his face. "(Heh, once he tries to dodge or block my punch, that's when I'll strike him for real!)" Flint thought to himself, a smile forming onto his face.
Desu the Blue Nerd
OoC: Ahhh...sowwy... IC: Michael was expecting him to fall on the ground with a smack but the hyperactive blittle twerp was able to get right back up. "And you punched me while I wasn't even paying attention." He heard footsteps coming down and the hyperactive little twerp called out to the person. He didn't want to lose track of the one he was fighting. The other one didn't seem to want anything to do with the fight. Well he didn't want to hit a girl anyway. Michael was watching the hyperactive hotheaded little twerp so he was able to react right away to the boy's charge. He moved his right foot over to a nearby empty chair and wrapped his foot around one of its legs. He brought his foot back to him with the chair but the remaining force caused the chair slide in front of him. Michael brought his foot up onto the seat and pushed it torwards Flint. He didn't expect the chair to really do anything except cause a sort of distraction. Michael quickly chased after the chair ready to jump up onto it and then off of it so that he could land another kick except this time in Flint's face. Hotaru987
Katie could only shake her head. Maybe it would be best if they blew off some steam, and if she was lucky they would both beat each other up so bad that she would be able to keep all the money for herself! Wait! No! That's terrible thinking! Flint is a friend now! So I should be helping him, but I don't like fighting pointless battles. It's stupid.... She sighed and decided that she would let them cool off before stepping in. Besides, as long as she had the bounty paper, even if the older boy did beat Flint, he wouldn't get what he was after. Not unless he wanted to take her on, cause there was no way she was handing over the bounty. "Yo, innkeeper guy come here." She motioned with one finger for the guy to lean down. "Whatever they manage to brake put it on the older kid's tab." There was no way she was taking a fall for their stupi-What the hell? Katie blinked and stared out the open door. One of the gunmen had left and when the door opened she could have sworn she saw a familiar set of bouncy, golden curls. No...Theres no way....Cheri is still in West Town. Katie calmed down figuring that it was another girl with the same blond hair. Ooc: Blu I'll have Katie step in after each of you do one more post. That way a somewhat of a fight can actually happen. Also she'll be a bit more gentle this time lol. .:Blu:.
((Hey Hotaru, does Cheri have a last name? I want to add Cheri into the characters list)) Seeing the chair approaching towards him, Flint rolled out of the way instead of trying to jump up and keep going towards the other gunman. Incredibly, Flint hasn't broken anything yet in this fight. Flint then got up and continued his charge towards the gunman. However, his charge couldn't really be called a charge at all. Flint was running in an almost zigzag-like motion. At one point, Flint noticed the gunman running towards the chair as if he was going to jump up onto it. Flint quickly dashed towards the back of the gunman, but not all the way. At a certain posint, Flint jumped into the air and landed near the rear of the gunman's field of vision. Sprinting towards the gunman, Flint began sliding towards the gunman with his leg out. Flint was hoping to leg sweep the gunman and make him lose his balance. Then, it's pretty much straightforward from there.
Desu the Blue Nerd
OoC: Slide Attack? You play DFO? IC: Michael wasn't too happy about his plan failing. He stopped when the hyperactive hot headed little twerp got out of the way. A large bead of sweat appeared on his head as the twerp started to what seemed like run and jump around randomly. "Is the twerp going to wear himself out before I even get to kick his butt." Michael was surprised by the attack. A sliding attack was not something he expected although it didn't seem to be to hard to avoid. He tried hopping back so that the twerp would just lose speed by the time it him but there was a problem. He ran into the desk. He quickly layed down onto the desk and did some sort of backwards somersault to get behind it.
Hotaru987
Ooc: Just in case you hadn't read the OOC. I said her name was Cheri Ironshare. After Katie's tireless debate on whether or not to check if she really did see Cheri, she decided to finally let it be. It was stupid to believe that Cheri was actually here, her father would never let her travel by herself. Especially not in a world like the present day. She would be taken advantage of, and other things that she really didn't want to think about, could happen. "I guess it's time to stop them." She said after seeing the boy to some weird manouver over the counter. She walked in between them both, ready to move just in case they both still tried to hit each other. "Can you two boys please stop fighting like two hormornal women? It's really starting to annoy me." "Look kid." She said turning to the boy behind the counter. "Despite my friend's hot headed nature we really don't want any trouble." She fished out the piece of paper that started this whole thing; the Bounty. "Look maybe we can come to some sort of agreement, but if you don't want to talk to him I don't blame you." She jerked her finger behind her towards Flint. "But maybe you'll be more inclined to talk to me. So what do you say? Though I'll warn you if you don't agree and you continue to attack my friend I will join this fight, and even you can't take on two skilled gunmen." .:Blu:.
((I can't say that I have played DFO, partly because I don't know what that is lol)) Seeing the other gunman's maneuvers, Flint was a bit confused. Still sliding, Flint took his mind off what he was doing, and this pretty much led to his downfall as Flint came crashing into a table. "Gah!!!" Flint shouted, putting his arms up so he won't recieve that much damage upon colliding with the table. "Ahhh!" three gunmen at the table yelled and put their arms up as well. Finally, Flint clashed with the table, and in the aftermath, all four gunmen were pretty much unconscious with stars circling their heads. Flint soon regained his composture andwatched as Katie came between him and the other gunman. Hearing that Katie wanted to talk it over with the other guy, Flint began protesting in the background, but he was obviously ignored by Katie. "Let me at 'em! C'mon! I'll obliterate him!" Flint shouted in the background while in a tangled mess. The other gunmen who had collided with were still unconscious and dizzy.
Desu the Blue Nerd
Michael stood up from behind the innkeeper's counter and looked at the female twerp. "Actually, I'm good. I just wanted to get that one hit in. You're boyfriend on the other hand," he pointed to the hyperactive hotheaded little twerp, "seems like he's ready for round two. Although I'd be raring to go if you actually try to make me pay for the damages he caused. Sound fair? I'm not interested in spending any more time with you twerps so I'm going to my room." Hotaru987
"I still think we can help each other out." Katie said as the boy was walking away. "If you change your mind the offer to talk will still be open." With that said she turned to Flint, suddenly wondering about that whole 'Your boyfriend' thing the boy said. His choice of words were starting to make Katie believe he knew she was a girl...But he could have simply been trying to be a smartass by saying that. "Hey where do you think you're going?! I'm not finish with you yet! Come back here so I can annihilate you!!!" Flint shouted, however, Flint was completely ignored as the gunman walked out of sight. "Arrg, damn that guy.... He thinks he's so cool isn't he? Just because I made one mistake...." Flint said, agitated by the outcome of the brief squabble. "Arrg, it makes me so angry! Just wait till I get outta here! I'll-" Flint's constant rambling was finally brought to a halt when Katie walked over and shut him up, leaving Flint with a nervous sweat drop on his head. "Alright Kai, sheesh...." Flint said. "Errands? What kind of errands? Oh and by the way, can you help me out of this mess hehe." Flint said, referring to his legs being wrapped around the broken table and the unconscious gumen's legs. Hotaru987
At hearing that they owed the Innkeeper money because of Flint's recklessness - despite her telling him not to destroy anything earlier - she shot a deathly glare at the young gunman, and a cold wind seemingly came out of no where - no doubt due to ice being her gunspell nature. Though it all left her with a heavy sigh, and she was left looking defeated and highly annoyed. "How much?" She asked the innkeeper with a slight whine, wanting to cry at how her day was turning out. After paying for the damages - though not the chair since the other kid was at fault - she helped Flint out of the jumbled mess, by roughly yanking him out. She seemed to be causing him a lot of bodily harm lately. Katie waited until the two were outside before saying, "When I said we need to run errands, I ment restocking on bullets. I also need another knife since I used my other one on the three idiots I fought in that cave. And also-" The thought of Cheri came to her mind, "I wanted to check something I saw earlier....I think I saw...Cheri here." Katie said slowly not really sure if she should be bothering Flint with this problom. It's not like Cheri is important to him, though he was always helping people even if he didn't know them so what did she have to lose? "Lastly, shouldn't we find some information on our bounty? I don't know how you usually do things, but I like to get things done quickly."
.:Blu:.
Seeing Katie's deathly glare at him, Flint became quite nervous and scared. Flint turned his head to another direction and began whistling while Katie still glare at him with an ominous chill blowing through the area. After paying for the damages, Katie proceeded to help Flint out, pulling him out of the jumbled mess with rather unneeded force, causing Flint to felt some pain. Flint, however, kept quiet, not wanting to anger Katie even more than he already has. Katie then walked outside while Flint got up and stretched his arms and legs. "I wonder just what kind of errands is Kai talking about? Hmm, maybe...." Flint imagined himself with his arms and legs tied to a wooden platform, and Katie force-feeding him vegetables. At the thought of that, Flint became really terrified and nervous to walk out. But Flint quickly manned up and walked outside. Finally outside, Flint listened to what Katie had to say. Flint was relieved when she told him that they needed to restock on bullets. "(Whew, was that a close one....)" Flint thought to himself. Hearing Katie mentioning that she saw Cheri, well at least she thinks she saw Cheri anyways, Flint's face lit up with delight. "Really? Cheri's in town? Awesome, maybe we could invite her to dinner, because I'm starving." Flint said happily. When Flint heard what Katie said about the bounty, Flint reached into Katie's pockets casually and took out the bounty without even asking her permission. Flint then held the paper up so that he can read it. "Hmm, let's see here.... Well we already know that the reward is 30,000 daploons which is more than enough to get us tickets to Doblin." Flint said before looking at the wanted outlaws on the poster. "Huh, well that's interesting. Looks like we have three outlaws to catch instead of one. The three 'Solman Brothers' each with their own respective epithet, the oldest brother being Ren 'The Water King', the middle brother being Jace 'The Fire King', and the youngest brother being Dilan 'The Lightning King'. They're all wanted for murder and robberies. It saids here they are considered highly dangerous and can use gunspells. It also saids that if we capture them alive, their bounty will be doubled, making the total reward as 60,000 daploons!" Flint read. "Well, that sounds like fun to me!" Flint proclaimed casually with a huge grin, and without even a single hint of worry on his face.
Hotaru987
Katie smiled when Flint said they should invite Cheri to dinner, though she hopped Cheri didn’t take it as a date, because that would be weird for Katie. When Flint reached into her coat pocket without her consent, her eyebrow twitched from the familiarity he blatantly showed. He read off the bounty, and after hearing about the three different gunmen named the ‘Solem brothers’. She had heard rumors about the three, and if they were as good as she had heard they would need someone to take on the third brother. “Looks like we will be needing his help after all.” Katie wasn’t stupid, and she wasn’t about to let Flint’s hotheaded nature cost them a bounty, but she wasn’t about to go to the other boy for his help. No she did have pride after all. Though she would think about that after they got more equipment, and she found Cheri. “Well we should get going now. We’ve got some stuff to get, yes?” She snatched the poster back and placed it back into her pocket, before walking off.
Cozmosus
"Thanks" John said. It seemed like he picked the right time to go there because the gang was recruiting. John began following the old man to the headquarters, looking around at the sights in Doblin. "I hope you have enough daploons to rent a room at the headquarters or for a hotel or something. To rent a room it will take at least 4,000 daploons at the headquarters. Hefty money, but this gang is said to be one of the best in the world you know." the old man proclaimed, interupting John from his sight-seeing. He turned back to the old man, still following him. "Oh, ya, I probably have enough" he said, reaching into his bag and taking out a large pouch which was almost full to the brink of tearing apart. He untied the pouch to find that all that was in it were pieces of paper that said IOU on them. John gasped comically, flabergasted that he was dead broke. He sighed, returning the pouch to his bag. They continued to walk along the streets of Doblin, John taking in everything there was to see. He reminded himself to visit many of these places later. The place was very lively, and seemed both strange and fantastic to him. The two continued walking, taking a few twists and turns, John noting the directions so that he could find his way later. Finally, they arived. He couldn't believe how fancy the place was, especially for a gang. The building itself was large in size and quite fancy, mezmirizing him for a few seconds. "Well here we are, good luck young man." the old man said before leaving. "Bye!" said John, turning around to face the building. He entered. .:Blu:.
Flint became a bit confuse when Katie said that they needed "his" help after all. Flint scratched the side of his face and a big red question mark appeared over his head. "(Who is Kai talking about? Does she have a friend here or something? Oh well, I'll find out later.)" Flint thought to himself. Flint never even thought about the possibility that the person Katie was talking about is the young gunman that fought Flint. Hearing Katie said it's time to get going, Flint perked up. "Right!" Flint agreed with Katie before following swiftly behind her. Walking around town at night, Flint noticed that it's much livelier. Flint curiously looked around, looking at the different shops. Soon, Flint and Katie arrived at the local gun shop. Walking in, Flint went straight to browsing, leaving Katie to handle the business side of things. In the shop, Flint was looking at a wide display of rifles. "Huh, I wonder if I'll be able to use one of these. Ehh, maybe I should just stick to my trusty revolvers." Flint said as he took one rifle down from a rack and began messing with it. Flint was careful not to cause any trouble, but knowing Flint, trouble is usually close by. -Meanwhile- When John entered into the headquarters of the Sons of Liberty gang, the first thing he would've noticed is the huge number of gunmen and the large bar. Essentially, the whole first floor of the headquarters is a large bar. Everybody was having a good time drinking and talking with each other. There was a comfortable feel to the whole place. "Haha! Well boys it looks like I won again!" a young woman with long, dark brown hair and tanned skin boisterously shouted as she stood up and placed her hands on her hips. "Aww no fair Darla! You always win! Why do we even bother playing anyways?" one gunman said as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a money pouch. "Aww quit your complaining, and started acting more like men would ya? Alright, pay up so I can get myself another beer!" Darla said with a confident smile on her face. All of the gunman at the table were grumbling as they placed their money on the table, to which Darla happily took. "Whoohoo! Another round Luce!" Darla shouted as she walked towards the bar. "Coming right up Darla!" a young girl with short blonde hair responded as she took a large glass and filled it up with fresh ale from a large keg in the wall. "Here you go Darla!" Lucy, otherwise known as Luce, said energetically. "Thanks Luce." Darla said before grabbing the large glass of beer and began to chuck it down. "Ladies, ladies, please. One autograph at a time." a young man with short brown hair said to a large group of girls. Then, a large, muscular man with spiky black hair walked towards John. "Huh, I've nerver seen your face around here. Do you need help with something kid?" the large man asked John.
Hotaru987
Katie walked around the shop inspecting the different types of bullet shells, and despite herself she couldn't help checking out the other gun modles there. Though she wasn't interested in buying them, looking at them wasn't going to cause any harm. She noticed Flint looking at a rifle, but didn't stop since she spotted the small section of the shop that held knives. None of them look spectacular - which she should expect since it wasn't a Knife shop or anything. There was bound to be a blacksmith in town, so maybe she would be able to find a sutible throwing knife there. Just in case she picked the cheapest one there - around 32 daploons - and inspected it. The blade was about 3 inches in width, and looked easily breakable. It had a firm grip, giving it an easily handible feel. "Guess it'll do." Katie called Flint over to give the clerk whatever it was he needed, and then placed what she wanted on the counter. She waited to hear how much before paying, and then quickly leaving the shop. Her eyes narrowed seeing the golden hair again, and this time also seeing the tail of what looked like a pink frilly dress. "I can't be seeing things can I?...." She whispered to herself. .:Blu:.
Hearing Katie calling him, Flint placed the rifle back on its rack and walked over to the ammunition rack, and picked up a box of revolver ammunition for his two revolvers. Flint then walked over to the counter and placed his ammunition box on the table. "Alright, that'll be 72 daploons." the shopkeeper said. After paying for the ammunition and the throwing knife, Flint and Katie walked outside. There was a smell of grill meat in the air. To Flint, this was like heaven. "Ahhh, meat...." Flint said as he closed his eyes and began sniffing the air. Flint then looked at Katie, and noticed that she was whispering to herself. "Hey Kai, what's the matter?" Flint asked curiously. "Well, whatever is the matter, can we get something to eat. I'm starving." Flint said, rubbing his stomach.
