.:Blu:.
Flint facepalmed himself when he found out that it was an electrical latern. After turning it on, Flint and Katie descended deeper into the mine. Walking deeper, Flint's mind was pretty much just focused on the task at hand. However, his focus shifted to Katie when she asked why did he become a gaunman. Flint had a smile on his face and just looked forward. "I don't know, I can't really give you a definite answer you know." Flint began. "Maybe it's because I wanted to begin a new life, and the life of a gunman just seemed so fun. I mean, a gunman can go anywhere he wants, and there are countless adventures waiting out there for a gunman. It's just exciting to be able to have this freedom. Even though there are risks of being a gunman, I think the benefits outweigh the risks." Flint explained. "There's also another reason...." Flint began with a slight pause afterwards. "I'm looking for someone, my brother, Gauge. He became a gunman when I was younger, and ever since I haven't seen him. Maybe it would be nice to see him again one day." Flint explained. "And as a gunman, I have one goal that I would like to accomplish in the next few days, and that is to join a gang, but not one of those types of gangs that steals and does evil deeds, I want to join a professional gang, the kind that has its own headquarters and lots of members. I would be able to go on missions and just have fun." Flint proclaimed. Flint then looked back at Katie. "Hey, have you ever thought of joining a professional gang?" Flint asked. Hotaru987
Katie listened to Flint's responce in silence. The reasons for him becomeing a gunman were completely different from her own. At the part of him searching for someone she nodded as if understanding. She was looking for someone too, but once again the nature of the visit would most likely be different from Flint's reason. Her only reason for becoming a Gunman was to find and kill the man who murdered her parents, and then left her in a fate worse than death; alive, so she can be tormented with the images and emotions of that day. Ever since then she had been labled as a killer, when she hadn't done anything wrong! Katie was nutrual on the idea of killing. She wouldn't do unless there was a valid reason, but if she had to it wouldn't bother her too much. But when she found her parent's real killer, there will be no words only bullets. Her slight train of thought was broken at Flint's question. A look of contemplation was adopted onto her face. "A professional gang?....No...I've never thought about it. I mean...I assumed most people would simply get in my way. But it does sound kind of nice." She chuckled at the end.
Desu the Blue Nerd
Michael had to hold himself back from pulling the trigger when Harvey gave his answer. "A family died for no reason and you called that survival...even if that thought was in your head for a second...It's not my job to judge a man. It is my job to kill them though. You quite frankly don't deserve life if this is how you wasted it." Michael listened to Harvey's question. "My name is Michael Baxter. Remember it in hell." Michael pulled the trigger sending the last bullet in his silver revolver through Harvey's head. He put the revolver back in its respective holster. "I still have another four minutes until evoker runs out. I'll carry his body to the river and relax by there for a bit. I can also fill up my canteen." Michael looked around to see if there was anything he could loot. He didn't know what it was doing there but some rope was lying nearby. He could use it to tie up Harvey up and make it easier for him to drag him through the desert but time was of the essence right now. Michael lifted up Harvey and put him over his shoulders. It wasn't easy to carry him to the river even when evoked so it took about 3 minutes. Michael rested Harvey's body by the river. He wasn't to fond of dead bodies even if this was his ninth kill so he wouldn't look at his body. Michael quickly drank the up the rest of the water from his canteen and then filled it up. He layed down to rest as the headache kicked in. He grabbed his head in the horrible pain and squirmed and kicked for the whole minute until finally settling down. "Is that your revenge Harvey? It seemed a little bit worse than normal." Michael hogtied Harvey's body and made his way back to Silver town with Harvey's body being dragged behind. "Or maybe me having to drag your body along the desert is your payback."
.:Blu:.
((NoBeginning, when you go turn in Harvey's body, the price should now be at 40,000 daploons)) Flint then suddenly stopped and turned around to face Katie when he heard her response to his question. "I don't think people would try to get in your way, I think people would try to help you and make you feel like your part of a family. Well, that's how I imagined it to be anyways. I don't know, but I'm ready to trust that everything would be smooth sailing if you're in a professional gang. Oh, sorry, there I go blabbering again. Come on let's move on." Flint said. As they continued deeper and deeper into the mine, srangely it seems to be getting brighter and brighter until suddenly, they can see a bright light up ahead. "Whoa! I think there's an underground world down here!" Flint comically exclaimed, his eyes gleaming with hope. However, reaching the light, it turned out to be just the main part of the mine where the copper used to be processed. Seeing this, Flint's happy face broke into a melancholic expression as he comically sits in the corner. "There's no underground world...." Flint muttered sadly. Suddenly, a strange rumbling noise could be heard. "Huh, what the heck is that noise?" Flint asked looking around. Suddenly, an electric-powered mine cart appeared from one of the tunnels and stopped right in the middle of the room. "Whoa, check it out!" Flint exclaimed. Flint, like a curious child, energetically ran towards the cart to inspect it. The first thing Flint noticed when he got near the cart was a letter. "Hey Kai, take a look at this." Flint said. "If you want to see the old man, his son, and the woman again, get into this cart. Black." Flint read. "Huh, interesting, Black's drawing skills are about the same as mine. Well anyways, you heard the man. Hop into the cart!" Flint said before energetically hoping into the cart, and awaited for Kai to get in as well. Hotaru987
“Well that’s your opinion on the matter. I however, simply hold a different opinion.” Katie responded to Flint, only glancing at him for a brief second before staring back straight a head. After some time there was a light up a head that caught Katie’s attention – and Flint who yelled something about an underground world. The young Gunman simply shook her head at the energetic boy, following behind him in a more reserved manor. Flint’s “Underground World” was actually the main part of the mining system, but it wasn’t used anymore. Katie was looking around with intrest, never having been in one with so much space before. The sound of wheels against metal caught her attention. It was a cart that was rolling down the tracks – no doubt Black’s doing. Flint rushed over – no surprise – eagerly looking inside right before picking something up. It was another note. Katie walked over before Flint could usher her. Flint read the letter out loud so Katie didn’t bother reading it. Katie wearily looked at the mini cart; it didn’t look safe at all. “Um…Ok…Since we’ve got no choice.” She hesitantly put one foot in before getting in completely. “Let’s go.”
Mysterium Tremendum
Insanity often keeps Albin from being surprised, even when cleverly outwitted by smarter enemies Albin is still able to keep his cool and come out of most any fight with few to no injuries but the man sitting in front of Albin's eyes caused his jaw to drop for a few seconds. Desmond the Death Plague was widely known as a legend who'd many thought to have been executed. The shock of seeing Desmond the Death Plague filled Albin with wonder, yet at the same time an evil sense of pride. The legendary Desmond requested to see him was definitely one of the highest honors an outlaw gunman could ask for and if Albin decided if he played his cards right here...." Albin's mind oozed with vicious delight as the possibilities dripped into his head. Regaining his composure, Albin stood stark still and once again allowed the infamous wicked smile to show clear once more. Carefully choosing his words, Albin spoke with just a hint of reverence in his tone, "Desmond the Death Plague, you don't know how much of an honor it is to meet you in person. Even more so to find out that it was you who requested me." Albin walked forward to the table.
.:Blu:.
When Katie finally got in the cart, the two just sat there for a brief moment with awkward silence. The fact of the matter is that the mine cart was not even moving an inch. Flint just stared blankly at the bottom of the cart. "Umm, so does this thin suppose to have some kind of start button or lever on it or something?" Flint asked. It seems as though this cart was completely useless, and it appeared as though they have wasted their time getting into it. This annoyed Flint quite a bit. Flint then suddenly, and angrily, stood up. "Arrg, damn thing, work!" Flint yelled, kicking the side of the cart. Suddenly, the cart began to rumble, and soon, started to move. Unexpecting of the movement, Flint fell down on the cart. "Maybe a light tap would have been better." Flint comically said with a dizzy face. Sitting up, Flint stared into the direction of where the cart was taking them to. Flint then turned to Katie, with a bit of a hesitant look on his face. "Kai, I know it isn't my place to ask this, but is the person who killed your parents still alive? I mean, obviously you didn't kill your parents." Flint asked. He wasn't trying to be noisy, but he was trying to get an idea of Katie's situation so that he can try to help her. Flint didn't know Katie for long, but he just wanted to help her. Flint knew exactly what it's like to lose a love one. In this case two for Katie, but Flint never even gotten to know his father. -Meanwhile- Desmond, was a rather old man, around his late fifties and early sixties. He has long gray hair with strands of golden brown hair still visible. One of his most distinguished features is his faded hazel eyes that peered deep into someone's mind. Rubbing his facial hair, Desmond began to address Albin. "So you are Albin Hinderson.... Go ahead and take a seat." Desmond said, gesturing his hand towards the chair that was closest to Albin. "I guess I'm a man who needs no introduction. Dead men often don't." Desmond began, massaging his chin. "Now I heard that you have an interest in dark gunspells, and that you're looking for a certain book is that right?" Desmond asked before snapping his finger, prompting Dare to walk over to a small cabinet and pulling out a black book scarred by time. Dare then proceeded to hand Desmond the book. Desmond then threw the book over to the other end of the table where Albin was at. The book has a name written in a strange language. Dry dust and debris decorated the book's cover and back, however the pages themselves have little to no damages. "I'm pretty sure you'll find that book pretty useful." Desmond proclaimed. "Now, the reason I brought you here is to offer you a proposition, interested?" Desmond asked.
Desu the Blue Nerd
Three people were in a one story building about the size of an average house. The building consisted mainly of jail cells which had people in them but I'm not counting them as the three men in the first sentence. Obviously this was the sheriff's office. It was larger than most since Silver Town was a pretty large town known for bounty hunting. The three people each had a badge which said sheriff. Again, more sheriffs were needed because of the size and the large amount of violent men in the town. The female of the group, Samantha, was sitting at a desk doing paper work. She was the only female of the three and not a bad looker at that although she seemed to hide her pretty face behind her constant frown and glasses. , Joey, laying on what was presumably his desk. The third and second guy, Phillip, was just leaning back on the wall next to the door. They as well as some of the inmates were surprised when the door violently opened and a hogtied body was thrown in. The man on the desk fell off and behind it. Well the body didn't suprprise the man by the door. The door had violently slammed right into him. The woman quickly stood up pushing the chair behind. "What Is This?!" When the man got the door off of him it only slammed right back into him. Michael had kicked it back and walked in. "It's Harvey Wolfe. Well his body anyway." Phillip got the door off of him again and stepped away to make sure it didn't happen again. "Why is there a dead body on the floor?" He looked at Michael. "You're that guy from the other day. You beat the s*** out of those petty criminals." Joey poked his head out from under the desk. "Oh, it's just a bounty hunter. Young one too. What's u-" He looked at the dead body on the ground. "Isn't that HarVEY WOLFE!!!!" He put his head back under the desk. Samantha let out a sigh. "You idiot. Get back up. Harvey is de-" She couldn't really believe. The man with a 40,000 daploon bounty was just tossed in to their office hogtied and dead. Brought in by non other than a kid. "Did you do this?" Michaellooked at Samantha and blinked twice. Sarcasticall he said, "No, a squirrel shot him. Now where's my 10,000 daploons?" Samantha sat back into her chair and went back to her work. "Talk to the man you smashed against the wall twice. His name is phillip."Wait a minute, okay kid?" He walked over to a vault on the other side of the room and a pulled out a small sac of money. He then walked back over and handed it to Michael. "Here's your money. Now get lost before you break anything of mine." Michael took the money and as he walked out he said, "Yeah yeah yeah." Joey came out from under the door when he heard the door closed. "Do you really think he killed Harvey That kid? The man had a 40,000 daploon bounty. I'm not sure any of us three could handle that." Samantha pushed up her glasses. "I don't know Joey. Maybe maybe not." Phillip laughed a bit. "I wouldn't doubt it really. That kick had some force in it and he must have just came back from walking through the desert with a body dragged along with him. Anyway you look at it he probably did that." As Kevin looked got back onto his desk Samantha pointed at him. "You. Clean up now." Kevin just wanted to take a nap and after being frightened like that. "Ahhhh..." Samantha gave him a glare that only a woman can give a man and he got right to work.
Hotaru987
Katie instantly tensed, a pure rage filtering into her eyes as she stared at Flint, though the anger wasn’t directed at him. “He is defiantly alive! Or at least he will be until I find him!” She slightly called down so continue, “Though….I don’t know much about him. It was a day like any other when he passed by my house…The only think I know for sure is that he was a gunman, and that his left eye had this white film over it. As if he was blind.” She pulled out the revolver on her left side, and stared at it. “After he killed my parents he smirked at me, as if he was enjoying himself, and that made me sick.” Her eye’s flared again. “This gun…Is the very same gun that took my parent’s life, and when I see him again this will be the gun to take his life. A bullet to the brain just like my parents! I’m going to make him suffer the same as I had to for 4 years.” Katie’s grip on the gun was so strong that her knuckles were turning white. “That’s the only reason why I became a gunman; for revenge. I have to become the best so I can beat him, and I know I’ll be the best once I become king of gunmen. No one will get in my way.” He will pay for what he has done to me.” Slowly her eyes closed and leaned back to rein her emotions back in. She dipped her head in a way to hide her eyes from view, but a single tear rolled down her face anyway.
Mysterium Tremendum
Albin took the seat that Desmond offered, smiling still. The seat and table seemed old and a little rickety, but Albin ignored it and sat down. When Dare pulled out a black book from the small cabinet, Albin's heterochromatic eyes lit up. When Dare tossed the book to him, Albin almost couldn't believe them. He'd been searching for years for the book or someone who knew its contents or maybe had some clue to them. Now the prize he'd sought for so long was within his grasp and all he had to do was open it. It was written in a strange language and some of the letters on the cover were faded under dust, but the design of the book was unmistakable. Albin shakily grasped the cover of the book and pulled it open, praying he wasn't being tricked. What he found inside made him gasp, the writing of the book itself was unreadable to him. Albin had spent a vast amount of time studying the language that several scriptures indicated the book would be written in. Yet, most of the pages he turned to had only a few sentences written in the language he'd studied while there were several sentences laced with other symbols and words that he didn't have knowledge of. "Hmmmm..... Very interesting. I'm only able to make out 2 Dark Gunspells from this book at the moment and it all looks to be about a fraction of the information needed to perform them. I will need to complete my knowledge of this language because it seems there are 2 versions of the language itself. Albin closed the book and looked up to Desmond. "Whatever your proposition is I will accept it, I'm curious to know the reason you brought me down here but before you continue, I have a few questions I need answered to help me fill in a few blanks. First, If I recall, history says you were executed for your crimes a long time ago. I'm curious how you escaped the trial while many witnesses didn't suspect a thing and how you've survived this long. Second, how did you get a copy of this book written in the old 2 part language. The many copies and translations of this book were supposedly burned and the manuscripts that held even an inkling of a trace of it were wiped from existence
Cozmosus
"You idiot! You've trapped us in here together!" yelled Sims, "I'm gonna kill you!". "How would you kill me with no bullets?" replied John. Sims proceeded to throw his gun at John's head. "Ow, that hurt! You're not getting this back!" exclaimed John. John walked over to the center of the room, and looked around. He needed to find a way out before Sims drove him insane. He tried to remember the path he took and how big the place was. "There!" he said, pointing to his upper right. "That area is at the edge of your hideout and should be weak enough for me to shoot through." "That's crazy, you can't shoot through that." retorted Sims. "Just watch me." John pulled out his rifle, and loaded it. He aimed both guns at the weak point, and prepared to fire........ *Growl* "Oh wait, I forgot to have lunch." said John. Sims slumped over in a comical fashion. John searched through his bag. There he found meat. He didn't know what it was, he just bought meat and cooked it. He offered some to Sims, who refused. John began eating. "So, what is it that you were planning before I came in and beat you up?" questioned John, with a mouth full of meat. Sims answered, "Why should I tell you?" "Because you're going to jail anyways. Either that or I could kill you here and now." John replied. "Good point. If you must know, I was going to bring my posse to the next town over and take it over. We were all ready t o attack when you showed up." John stood up, finishing off the rest of his meal. "Well then, I better get you to the army." John picked up both his guns and took aim. If he shot them perfectly the wall should come down. Here goes nothing. he thought. "Concussive!" John yelled. Two bullets shot out towards the wall, and exploded just before impact. A large burst of blue energy was created, destroying the stone. He did it, they could now escape. John pulled out a long rope from his bag, with a grapple hook on the end. He threw the hook end out the hole, and it caught hold of something. He tied up Sims with the rope so that he could carry him out. John climbed up and out of the hole with ease, the proceeded to pull Sims up and out of the hole. The rope swung around a lot, causing Sims to hit his head a few times. "Hey! keep it steady up there!" he yelled, as he hit his head on a rock and was knocked out. John finally managed to get Sims out of the hole. He was tired. He picked up Sims, which took a lot of effort to do, and he placed him on his horse. John tied Sims to the horse, and he sat in front. He had finally managed to capture Sims. He packed up, and left the hideout, on his way to turn Sims in.

.:Blu:.
((The hell with the post above Also, I would like for Mysterium and Ed to vote in the poll in the OOC)) Flint was a bit thrown back by how angry Katie sounded when she spoke of her parent's murderer. As she continued, Flint felt rather sorrowful and empathetic, his eyes glaring at the bottom of the cart. When Katie was finished, Flint looked up at her to see her leaning her head back and a single tear rolling down her cheek. "I know how it feels to lose a love one, in this case, two. You've suffered more than I did. At least I was able to kill my mother's killers...." Flint explained in a sad tone. "Sometimes this world seems so unfair, but who ever saids life was fair right?" Flint proclaimed. Suddenly, Flint's expression became rather serious and determined. "Kai, I promise you that I'll do my best to help you find this gun so you can make him suffer. I don't care if it risks me my life, I will find him for you." Flint said in a determined tone. Suddenly, the cart began to move into a large area. The cart soon came to a halt. "Huh, we stopped." Flint said before stepping out of the cart and looking towards a path that leads up. "We should save our coversation for later, I have a feeling that we're close to saving the others. Let's go." Flint said before running up the path. It took awhile, but finally Flint and Katie arrived at a large area, that seems almost like a stadium for a gun duel. Flint stopped when he got into this area and took awhile to look around. "Nothing here, let's move on." Flint said before running off again, but before he could move any further, a blast of yellow energy collided with the ground near Flint's feet, causing Flint to jump back. "What the- Who's there?!" Flint demanded to know. "hehe, I think we got their attention!" a voice emanated from above. Jumping down from a dark corner on a platform above the ground area came three men. The same three men that helped Black escaped yesterday. "What the- It's you three! Mr. Big, Mr. Medium, and Mr. Small!" Flint shouted, pointing to the three. Flint gave them those nicknames due to their respective sizes. "W-W-What?! How insulting! We have names you know?! I am, the fantastic Mr. Lock!" the biggest of the three proclaimed. "Hehe, and I am the incredible Mr. Rock!" proclaimed the average of the three. "Yo, I am the amazing Mr. Dock!" the smallest one said. "Move aside! We're looking for Buck Shooter!" Flint comically shouted. "IT'S BUCK FORD!!!" Lock, Rock, and Dock comically shouted back at the same time. "Whatever, let's take care of these guys fast Kai!" Flint said, cracking his knuckles. "W-W-What?! Don't tell me that other guy over there is Kai "The Red Bullet" Rockwell?!" Lock asked. "Yeah, that's gotta be him! They say that guy is pretty good looking, and if I think about it, he actually is!" Dock responded. "Nah, nah, I heard 'The Red Bullet' is an ugly person in real life." proclaimed Rock. "W-W-What?! Really now? Well I'll be damned." Lock replied in surprise. "WHOULD YOU THREE IDIOTS JUST GIVE IT A REST ALREADY!!!!" Flint comically shouted, flames shooting out from his mouth, causing the three to hold each other in fear. "Alright, I had enough of this nonsense, now I'm going to wipe the floor with you thr-" Before Flint could finish his statement, Lock interrupted. "W-W-What?! Slow your roll Kiddiyo!" Lock began. "You want to rescue those three people right? Well go on right ahead!" Lock proclaimed, pointing to the path that leads further up. "Wait, what? You three are just going to let me pass that easily?" Flint asked. "That's correct! But on one tinsy-winsy condition!" Rock proclaimed. "And what kind of condition is that?" Flint asked. "You leave that suppose-to-be 'The Red Bullet' here with us!" Dock answered. "Huh, no way! C'mon Kai, let's just pound these guys and move on!" Flint suggested. "W-W-What?! Tsk, tsk, if you spend your time fighting us then I'm afraid those three lives will be cut short if you know what I mean." Lock proclaimed. "Arrg, Kai, what do you think?" Flint asked. -Meanwhile- ((It was actually Desmond who threw the book to Albin)) Hearing Albin's questions, Desmond chuckled lightly. "You know the old saying right? Curiosity killed the cat, but alas, humans aren't cats and we humans are naturally curious from the days we are born, and without curiosity, some of the world's greatest inventions would've never come to exist. For example, the forbidden dark gunspells...." Desmond proclaimed. "And to think, we so called 'civilized' beings weren't even the ones that created gunspells in the first place...." Desmond continued. "In all honesty, I simply just don't have the time to tell you how I cheated death, and left with the loot, but I will tell you of how that book came into my hands." Desmond said before coughing slightly. "You see, that book was retrieved from the the ancient Mezora Ruins, the same ruins said to be lost in time and said to be the origins of the forbidden dark arts. That book is a copy of several stone tablets of twelve volumes located within those very ruins. However, I have never been able to found those tablets nor will I ever go back to those ruins that almost took my life twice. Nor do I have any intentions on telling their location to you, however, I can provide you a translation guide for that book if you complete a task for me." Desmond proclaimed, pausing to allow Albin to take in the information. "I need you to bring to me this man," Desmond said as he slide a wanted poster across the table, "Thomas Reading, A.K.A. The Red-Skinned Thief." Desmond finally finished.
Hotaru987
Katie nodded slowly at Flint's declaration, a small smile filtering onto her face from the kind words. Though she didn't speak after that, the energy coming from her was more annoyed than the anger she was feeling earlier before. The cart finally came to a stop, and Flint mentioned something about continuing the conversation some other time - though she wasn't sure if she'd be so willing next time - then hopping out of the cart. Flint broke into a run which Katie followed. It was dentrimental that they get to the three people before Black desides to do anything with them. Katie entered the large arena looking area a few seconds after Flint; looking around with open amazement. "This is kind of nice." She mumbled before Flint started running again. Though he didn't get far as a large ball of yellow light landed right in front of him. Katie covered her face from the dust, opening them seconds later to see three familiar looking guys. They intruduced themselves as Lock, Rock, and Dock - very retarded names if you asked Katie. Though she didn't speak the whole time while Flint conversed, she did become annoyed - as revealed by the large tick mark that appeared on her head - when Rock proclaimed that she was ugly, and the other two idiots quickly agreed with them. "I couldn't agree with you more Flint." Katie said about to start fighing when they did something unexpected. They were going to let them pass - well let Flint pass anyway. It seemed as though the three idiots wanted to tangle with Katie. Though she wanted nothing more than to continue with Flint, Katie knew that the idiots had a point. They wouldn't let both of them pass, but if Flint could go through then the three that were kidnapped - she still hadn't bothered to learn their names - would have a better chance. Katie sighed as if bored with the whole thing, "Looks like we don't have a choice Flint. These idiots will be taken cared of before you even reach Black." She then turned to Flint smiling genually, "Besides, this whole time you've been the only one to risk your very life for this. It's about time I do the same for you and those people. So you just go on a head and I'll deal with the three idiots." It was apparent she wasn't going to bother with their names, prefering to just bunch them all together as the 'Three idiots'. Mysterium Tremendum
[OOC: I will get right on it tommorrow.] Albin listened intently to Desmond. The information of the book was interesting, but the question why Desmond wanted to see this man equalled it and maybe even surpassed it. He suppressed the question in his head. "The Red Thief" was widely known, Albin had seen the same wanted poster once before but he never gave much thought to going after the man. Albin looked at Desmond with his insane smile fixed upon his lips. He spoke firmly and strongly, "Anything interesting I need to know about this man? Considering the fact you need me to get him for you practically screams that he isn't your average gunmen. I may have a lot of contacts but none have ever found this man's whereabouts nor any information at all on him."
.:Blu:.
Hearing what Katie had said, Flint's eyes comically became bigger, as if he was moved by her statement. "You really do care about the lives of others. You're the best Kai!" Flint said emotionally as Flint quickly gave her a big hug. "Alright, see you later then!" Flint said before running off, becoming his regular self again. "Ahh how touching! 'You really do care about the lives of others!'" Rock mocked Flint as he left. "Ha! We knew it! You're not 'The Red Bullet' at all! 'The Red Bullet' isn't some weakling like you! Now prepare to face the awesome fury that we will unleash upon you weakling!" Dock proclaimed righteously. Each one of them took out two revolvers each, ready for battle. Flint continued on the path that led further up. "(Hold on you guys, I'm almost there! Black, if you dare hurt any of them, I'll demolish you!)" Flint thought to himself, his eyes fixed in one direction. Soon after, Flint finally arrived at a huge abandoned factory area. Seeing the light gleaming through the small factory windows, Flint knew that he was now above the mine and that it's morning outside. Flint then began to calmly and cautiously walk around the factory, keeping his eyes open for Black. "(He's gotta be here, but where?)" Flint thought to himself. "Hahahaha! So you made it Kid!!!" Black laughed from a platform above ground. Right away, Flint turned to Black and clenched his fists out of anger. "Black.... Where's Catherine, Ron, and the old man?!" Flint demanded to know. "Oh, you want to know where they are huh? Well there at- Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Black's response was interrupted as he lost his footing on the platform and fell to the ground into some crates below. "The password is 'Black the Magnificent'...." Black muttered dizzily. "HEY, STOP FOOLING AROUND AND TELL ME WHERE THEY ARE!!!!" Flint shouted, once again, flames shot out from his mouth. "I wasn't fooling around, I fell you idiot!" Black shouted in response. "Arrg, you want to see them huh? Well then, you'll have to fight me to see them." Black proclaimed. "Fine! I've beaten you once and I'll do it again!" Flint replied, taking out his two revolvers. Black only sat up, a menacing smile formed on his face. "W-W-What?! You get the first shot?! I want the first shot!" Lock argued with Rock and Dock. "You always get the first shot, it's my turn this time!" Rock responded. "Apparently you three boneheads forgot that it is my turn to get the first shot." Dock proclaimed. "WHAT?! NO WAY!" Lock and Rock shouted in return. "How about we play a game of rock, paper, scissors?" Rock suggested. "W-W-What?! You always play rock so you'll lose anyway!" Lock responded. "Nah-uhh, I'm going to play another thing this time." Rock replied. "You always say that too, and you still go on ahead and play rock!" Dock proclaimed. The three kept arguing for quite some time. -Meanwhile- "'The Red-Skinned Thief' is one elusive person.... Rumor has it that he uses an ancient form of gunspells called Ruin Gunspells, dating back more than a thousand years ago. It saids, his gunspells allow him to use teleportation, and that's why no one has ever caught him...." Desmond proclaimed. "This ties in with his bloodline which can be traced back all the way to the first people who created gunspells, well, I've said a bit too much...." Desmond said. "My organization is one of secret, and I do not want you to tell anybody about me being alive, that is why I needed someone like you for this job. Now, to find 'The Red-Skinned Thief', all you need to do is find his next target." Desmond said bluntly. "But to catch him, you might need this." Desmond said as he threw a strange-looking revolver towards Albin. "Shoot him with one bullet from that, and his teleportation powers will be nullified for a short period of time. Use it wisely." Desmond proclaimed.
Hotaru987
Red instantly rushed to Katie’s face from Flint’s hug. True she was used to being touched because of Cheri, but she was a girl. Katie’s contact with men was kept at a bare minimum; the most being a slap on the back, or a hand shake. Thankfully Flint didn’t seem to notice. Her embarrassment quickly left when the ‘three idiots’ started mocking her about not being ‘The Red Bullet’ because she was a weakling for helping others. That instantly made her mad; her eyebrow twitching in annoyance. If they weren’t on her list before, they certainly were now. “Once I get done with you three you’ll wish you never doubted me. I am ‘The Red Bullet’ and you will soon fear me too.” Katie threatened, aiming her revolvers at the three as a smirk filtered to her face at the prospect of a challenge; especially a 3 to 1 gun fight. Just when she thought they were going to start, the idiots started arguing about who was going to shoot at her first. A second tick mark appeared on Katie’s forehead as she listened to them argue. Out of all the people I get to fight it’s these idiots here. Who the hell argues about fighting?! She thought. It didn’t look as though they would be stopping any time soon so Katie decided she had, had enough – especially after the ‘Rock, paper, scissors’ idea, to which face planted to the ground, one foot in the air twitching slightly. That’s it I have had enough of this! It sounded as though one shot went off, but there were suddenly three bullets heading straight for either brother. She stood there arms crossed, and guns smoking from the bullets leaving the gun. “I had enough of your idiotic rambling.” She smirked. “It’ll be a real shame if I killed you all because you weren’t paying attention. So let’s get this showdown started, yes?”
.:Blu:.
((Even though they're not exactly the King of Gunmen, I'm not going to make this battle easy either, also, I'm going to add this to your major battles.)) The three kept arguing their heads off until they heard gunshots and quickly noticed three bullets coming towards them. Rock then suddenly planted his revolver into the ground. "Slab Slab Defense Wall!" Rock shouted as a giant wall of earth ascended from the ground and covered the three men. Despite their rather idiotic nature, these three aren't regular gunmen in their own rights considering that their the strongest of Black's subordinates. The bullets shot from Katie's gun then collided into the earth wall, and almost pierced through the wall entirely, causing the three men's jaws to hit the ground and their eyes popped out from their face. "W-W-What?! This guy's bullet almost penetrated the whole way through your Slab Slab Defense Wall Rock!" Lock proclaimed with a vibrant display of surprise on his face. "Y-Yeah! I haven't seen a person besides Boss that can do that! This guy is something else!" Dock commented. "Arrg, we were caught off guard is all, so I didn't have time to fortify my Slab Slab Defense Wall! Don't worry you guys this little punk is going down in a matter of seconds!" Rock reassured the other two. "Hey yeah, you're right! C'mon fellas, let's teach this punk kid a lesson! Never mess with the Super Fantastic Amazing Mega Killer Team of Lock, Rock, and Dock!" Dock proclaimed proudly, comically holding a yellow victory flag with the initials "LRD" on it. The wall of earth then descended back into the ground as the battle was about to commence. "You know kid, I gotta tell you that I hate people who shoot at us unexpectedly. Now we gonna make you pay!" Rock shouted. "W-W-What?! Time to begin! 3!!!" Lock shouted. "2!!!" then came Rock. "3!!!" Dock finally shouted as the duel officially began. "Super Super Star Shot!" Dock shouted as he shot a single bullet towards Katie. The bullet, stragely, was shot out vertically with the tip of the bullet pointing upwards. The bullet was also rotating vertically. Suddenly, glowing yellow light inbuned the bullet and caused it to have the appearance of a rotating star that headed straight for Katie. "Slab Slab Mega Shock-Rockwave!" Rock then shouted as he dug his revolver into the ground and pulled the trigger. Then, a wave of jagged earth appeared on Katie's left and right side and traveled towards her at quick speeds. "W-W-What?! Power Power Flame Fist!" Lock then yelled out as he shot a single bullet. The bullet then shattered and ignited into a flame fist heading towards Katie as well. "Well boy, let's begin shall we?" Black asked menacingly. "Yeah let's get this over with Buck Zero!" Flint responded, ready to battle. "Damn it you idiot it's BUCK FORD!!!!" Black comically shouted. "Whatever!" Flint reponded. "3! 2! 1! DRAW!" both Flint and Black shouted at the same time. This time was abit different as Flint was the first to draw his weapon. Flint then shot five rounds, and quickly went to the task of reloading as the bullets he shot will distract Black, even if only for a bit. Black returned the favor with five shots of his own, colliding with Flint's bullets. After reloading, Flint ran behind an old, broken-down copper refiner machine to take cover. Black did the same on his side then proceeded to fire off three shots towards Flint, all of which, hit the machine, causing holes to appeared in the machine. "C'mon gunspells work!" Flint said to himself. Flint then aimed Nova towards the machine Black is hiding behind. "Solis Charge!" Flint shouted and pulled the trigger. However, only smoke came out, and a bullet wasn't even fired, leaving Flint's face with a comically shocked expression. "Not again!" Flint shouted. Black then peered out of his hiding spot and aimed his revolver at Flint. "Dark Vortex!" Black shouted as he shot his signature Dark Vortex move which inbuned the bullet with dark flames that rotated in large circles as it traveled towards Flint. Seeing this, Flint's spirit ascended out from his head out of surprise. Flint then jumped out from behind the machine. The Dark Vortex quickly made quick work of the machine, binding it and quickly crushing it.
Hotaru987
Ooc: I hope what I posted it ok. If not I shall edit ASAP! XD Though initially surprised at the counter to her bullets, Katie smirked when her bullets alomost pierced through the stone wall. And that was without using her "Iron Shot" technique. Too bad, maybe it could have been over in that one shot. "But if I did my signature red bullet wouldn't have been left behind." Katie joked as the three brothers reemurged - Dock yelling someincreadibly long name while holding up a yellow flag. She shook her head. "Am I fighting Gunmen or circus clowns?" Then to reply to Lock she said, "If I didn't shoot you three would still be fighting and then we wouldn't get anywhere." Her question was answered by the onslaught of attacks they unleashed upon the shocked female gunman. "Oh s***..." She mumbled quickly aiming her two revolvers. Her right gun aiming for the golden star looking bullet, "Iron Shot!" Both guns had a purple hue to them now, but she only fired with the right gun; the now iron impenetrable bullet heading srtaight for the bullet in the middle of the star, aiming to shatter it and continue through. To the flames she used her left gun, "Double shot: Blizzard breaker!" She wasn't sure if one bullet would be enough to stop the flame fist so she shot to in procession. These bullets shot out with a blue, mist surrounding them before being absorbed by the bullet, before breaking into 7 pieces, each one a brillant color of blue. When the two attributed spells met an exlposion of hot steam shot out. It wasn't hot enough to burn her, but enough to cause irritation. The earth gunspell was tricky for Katie to avoid, seeing as she had no gunspells to combat the technique. So the only thing she had to rely on were her dodging skills. If they were coming straight on it wouldn't have been to much of a problem, but they weren't. They were comming from both sides so she had to be mindful of two directions instead of one. With a variety of ducks, and flips - occasionally using her gun to knock away the rocks - she was finally done, and as much as Katie wished she didn't get hit, she did. There was a cut on her right cheak - a rock that she barely avoided -, two cuts on her legs. One on the back of her hand from trying to knock one away with her gun, and the last on her upper arm closer to her shoulder. The last one was bleeding quite badly, the rock having gone a bit deeper than the others had. Katie looked at it with a glare. "Cheri will start yelling at me again...." The glare then turned to the three brothers, "And she is a rath that even I wouldn't envoke. You three will pay dearly for this." Without warning she ran to the side, not wanting to remain in one place, especially with it being her against three people. They all needed to remain in her sights at all times. With her right gun she yelled, "Blizard Breaker!" The ice shards spreading to hit all three of them. She followed the attack with an, "Iron Shot!" With her left gun, this bullet heading for Rock. .:Blu:.
((Oh they're not brothers, just a trio of idiotic henchmen)) Taking down two gunspells and being able to avoid a potentially fatal one proved Katie to be quite the capable and skillful gunman, or in her case, gunwoman. Seeing her expert skills and tactics, the three men's jaw feel flat straight to the floor, shocked by Katie's amazing talents. "W-W-What?! T-There's no way he could've dodge our Trifecta Triple Fury Special Combo Extraordinaire!!!" Lock proclaimed, alarmed by their failed combo attack. "Keep your focus men, this guy is tougher than we originally thought, but we can still win this in a matter of minutes!" Rock reassured the other two once again even though his legs were comically shaking and there are beads of nervous sweat all over his face. "Whoa, you don't look too good Rock, why are your legs shaking like that?" Dock asked. "T-They're not shaking, I'm simply dancing because of the victory we're about to taste!" Rock replied. Suddenly, Katie ran to the side without warning, causing the three men to be shocked at the fact that they are the ones now on the defensive. The Blizzard Breaker gunspell was then fired from her revolver, splitting into a multitude of ice shards. "Rock!" Dock shouted. "Right! Slab Slab Mega Dome!" Rock shouted as he dug his revolver into the ground again and pulled the trigger. This time around, a large dome arose from the ground and completely covered the area of the three men, protecting them from the various ice shards that would've tear them up. "Hehe, no sweat you guys, we're safe in herrrreeee!" Rock's statement was quickly brought to a halt as the Iron Bullet impaled through the dome and hit Rock directly, forcing him through the other side of the dome and onto the wall of the mine. Luckily for Rock, the dome was dense enough to lower the force of the Iron Bullet gunspell enough to make the gunspell a nonfatal attack. The other two still within the dome looked through the massive holes with surprised. "W-W-What?! How did this happened?! Rock's Slab Slab Mega Dome is virtually impenetrable!" Lock proclaimed. "Ugh.... He you guys, I'm still alive over here!" Rock shouted, getting off the ground. The other two quickly run to him. "Arrg, no one makes a fool out of us and gets away with it! Super Super Star Burst!" Dock shouted, shooting out a barrage of tiny rotating stars. Even with their small size, each star will explode on contact. "W-W-What?! My turn! Power Power Fire Rocket!" Lock shouted as he shot out a huge, streamline fireball. Rock was still to daze from being attacked by the Iron Bullet to do anything. Back in the factory, Flint and Black were still shooting it out. The factory was pretty badly damaged now. "SIGMA TWISTER!!!!" Black shouted, shooting out his twister attacked that began to suck in large chunks of the factory's walls and ceiling. "This guy's destroying the whole place!" Flint shouted, taking cover behind another machine. "Damn you Kid, come out and fight me like a man! Where was all that power from last time?!" Black shouted. After not being able to find Flint, Black became very angry. "Alright that does it! Twin Sigma Vortex!" Black shouted as he shot two bullets into the air. Dark flames began to surround the bullets, creating two dark flame tornadoes. The tornadoes ripped through the factory, and soon the factory collapsed and was destroyed to almost nothing by the tornadoes. Almost everything was now gone from the area. The path that leads up to the surface was still open however. But now there are no more places to hide for Flint. He is now in open space where Black could see him. With the morning sun brightly shining over the wasteland-like area they were in, Black and Flint were ready to continue their battle. "Hehe, no where else to run kid!" Black shouted. Flint was about to respond when suddenly he saw three individuals tied up behind a half-destroyed machine. "It's Catherine, Ron, and the old man!" Flint shouted as he was about to run to the unconscious three. However, the reunion would have to wait as Black held his revolver towards them. "Uh-uh, you still gotta win me first, or else they'll die." Black warned, leaving Flint with no choice but to continue the battle.
Hotaru987
Katie couldn't believe that her plan actually worked. She hopped that Rock would use his sheild again to block her first attack, and thus not seeing the second attack. Katie's "Iron Shot" can pass through Iron, so earth is no problem. Though, she hadn't expected Rock's earth shield to be dense enough to slow down the bullet to not be killed - as she had heard his voice saying he was fine. It was a gunspell so she should have expected that it wasn't eaxactly 'normal' earth. But it didn't matter. Katie was positive she was going to win this, no matter what happened. Katie cursed to herself, for permitting her thoughts to get the better of her. Dock, and Lock were firing off more gunspells. Her hands were slightly trembling from having used so many gunspells in rapid procession, and she knew that she would need to wait before using anymore. Katie needed to reload soon. Her left gun only had three shots left, and her right had five shots left. With a startled yelp - she almost slipped into her normal voice - she jumped to the side the back of her pants bottom being burnt off, from the close call of one of the fire bullets. She tucked and rolled on the ground, using the momentum to continue to her feet and keep running. One of the small yellow stars was close, and once again she was jumping out of the way to avoid it, but she didn't clear the explosion which sent her flying back, and onto the ground - two more golden stars missing her head by a hair's breath. She stood to continue running, but a sudden explosion shoock the area and caused her to stumble. It must have been Flint's battle. "Damnit..." The next second the rest of the golden stars, and the fire bullets collided with her. Katie barely had time to shield her face before the large explosion from the combined attacks had her shooting backwards, and slamming against the walls of the stadium. She groaned, coughing up blood, then used the wall to stand. Her right shirt sleeve was burnt off at the middle bicep - showing the red skin from the explosion - and her pants had burnt holes in them. If that went on any longer her disguise would be completely ruined! 'The Red Bullet' was a boy, and she didn't want everyone knowing the truth just yet! "D-d-don't get c-cocky!" Katie yelled forcing herself to her feet. The tips of her hair was also singed in some places, and that only pissed her off even more. "Just b-because you h-hit me means n-nothing! You're still g-g-going to lose!" Dirt covered her face, and with the remaining sleeve on her left hand she wiped the trickle of blood from the corner of her mouth. She instantly shot the remaining three bullets at Dock and Lock, and at the same time tossed her right gun up in the air and to the side. She then ran as to not be in the same place. Hopefully her three bullets would destract them long enough to at least reload. Katie opened the chamber of her now empty revolver and dumped the bullets, while her right hand reached for more and reloaded the gun. Right when she finished she stopped running and caught the gun she tossed aiming both of them at Dock and Lock; just in case they fired any more gunspells. "Cold Front!" She shot a bullet from both guns - a chill running up har arms - and like "blizzard breaker" there was a dome like, blue mist that surrounded the bullet. Only this time the mist wasn't absorbed and stayed on the outside. These idiots are actually tougher than I thought.
.:Blu:.
Seeing their attacks having some affects on Katie made the three men wanted to jump for joy. "Haha! I knew it! This little punk isn't so tough. Even if he is the infamous 'Red Bullet' we are still stronger!" Rock proclaimed righteously even though they haven't won the battle yet. "We did it! We did it! We did it!" the three men started to sing. They were feeling pretty good about themselves right now. However, the celebration would have to wait as Katie fired three bullets at them. "W-W-What?! Incoming!!!" Lock shouted. Due to Rock still being a bit dazed from being hit by Katie's Iron Bullet, the three men couldn't use a defensive gunspell. Rather, they just simply jumped to the side to dodge the three bullets. "Haha was that all you have- Huh?!" Dock then saw Katie firing off her Cold Front gunspell. Lock and Dock doge to the side, but unfortunately for Rock, he was too slow to avoid the attack and the Cold Front hit him directly at his center. Upon collision, the attack had enough force to send Rock flying into a wall behind him, and completely paralyzed his entire body. The shock from the force of the attack also knocked him out cold, taking him out of the battle. "GAH!!!! Rock is down!" Dock shouted. "W-W-What?! He is?! Damn it, that was our only defense! You'll pay for that you little punk! Power Power Flame Fist!" Lock shouted, shooting out a bullet that quickly shattered and formed into a flame fist. "Arrg, Super Super Brilliance!" Dock yelled as he threw one of his revolvers into the air. The revolver soon shattered and a blinding bright yellow light appeared, hoping to blind Katie so the Power Power Flame Fist can hit. Back on the surface, Flint knew that he won't be able to save Catherine, Ron, and the bartender without defeating Black, but the problem was that Flint couldn't use his gunspells. Black also knew well that taking Flint's scarf would activate his powers so Black stayed weary of Flint's movements. "Alright Kid, let's try this again! Dark Vortex!" Black shouted, shooting his Dark Vortex gunspell towards Flint. However, Flint wasn't going to stand there and get hit with the Dark Vortex. Flint then stood there calmly and closed his eyes. "(C'mon Flint! Focus your energy, and unleash it!)" Flint then suddenly opened his eyes, fire could be seen emanating through his pupils. The air around Flint began to heat up rapidly and soon were set ablaze. "What?! Not this again!" Black shouted, knowing that Flint has unleashed his powerful energy. The Dark Vortex soon collided with Flint and bind him. But like before, the flames surrounding Flint are so powerful that they absorbed the flames of the Dark Vortex. "You're gonna pay for kidnapping Catherine, Ron, and the old man Black! And this time, I'll make sure you're locked up for good!" Flint shouted, though this time around he seemed more calm and relaxed. "Solis Charge!" Flint shouted, shooting out a single bullet. The bullet was quickly surrounded by flames, however, this time the Solis Charge seemed smaller. Black attempted to run, but the attack was far too fast to run away from. When the Solis Charge got close enough, it exploded and sent Black flying. Black soon slid across the ground for thirteen feet before finally coming to a halt. Black was injured by the explosion, but his injuries wasn't as bad as last time. "(Ugh.... His attack.... it isn't as powerful as the last time he used it.... What happened? Unless, he hasn't reach his full power....)" Black thought to himself.
Mysterium Tremendum
[OOC: I apologize for the delay. Life once again throws a wrench in my schedule. My Report card finally came in. My GPA was 3.91, but I got marks in my Physics class that didn't meet my standards on both the Mid-term and for 2nd Quarter. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to school so I berated myself heavily for it and sort of beat myself up over it for a while.] Albin sighed, he'd had 1 or 2 various encounters with other gunman that used Gunspells that did a small amount of transportation but the range they could transport were often pretty small. If these gunspells powerful enough to require nullification first, they must certainly be powerful. Perking up, Albin asked, his final question before he decided to depart, "How much damage am I allowed to do to him? You want him completely whole or am I allowed to break 1 or 2 bones to keep him from running away." Albin thought for a second, "Once this is over with, I'll be able to read the rest of the book. I wonder, just how many dark secrets are housed within that text. The thought of it sends my mind racing, so much power in one book that its irresistable." Albin thought maliciously. Hotaru987
Katie grinned unable to hold the triumphant feeling from surfacing. “One down and two to go!” Dock and Lock was shocked that she took Rock out, and thus all of their defensive power. Even though she didn’t expect the other two to still be effective to stun her. Before Lock threw his now glowing gun in the air, Katie was going to shoot some rounds at the two. However, at the bright light she rushed to cover her eyes and the bullet harmlessly shot into the air. “D-damn, too bright…” She groaned still covering her eyes, and squeezing them tightly shut. Her next move was purely by instinct. Katie launched her body to the left – and good thing too – because her right leg hadn’t cleared the attack – which she quickly recognized – causing her leg, from the knee down, to become severely burnt. She screamed, just barely remembering to not slip into her normal voice. She rolled but this time she didn’t get up. As she did something slipped from her left hand. Instead she remained on the ground, grimacing in pain and hissing angrily. A string of curse words flew from her mouth. Suddenly realizing something she shoved her hand down the boot on her burnt leg, forcing herself to ignore the pain, and quickly pulled out the knife she had in there. With a sigh of utter relief at the fact it hadn’t melted to her skin from the heat – most likely thanks to her boots – she glared at Dock and Lock. “Oh you two are so gonna pay for this.” With tremendous effort she stood up, her weight favoring her left leg, and she threw the knife with precision worthy of a sniper, as she aimed to get it jammed in Lock’s gun. She could handle fire, but if she was blinded again she wasn’t sure if she would be able to move quickly. Glancing to her side, she saw one of her guns laying on the floor; she had dropped it during the sudden move, leaving her with one gun. “Alright take this! Blizzard Breaker-“ Once again a chill ran up her arm, “And now Iron shot!” This time there was a strong ricochet. She had to brace with both hands. One of her guns weren’t capable of using two different gunspells one after another. The same is no problem, but two different ones are. That’s one reason why she had two guns. .:Blu:.
((It's time to bring Chapter 1 to a close)) Lock and Dock began to dance around happily and cheer as they noticed Katie had been hurt by the gunspell. However, they became a bit scared when Katie spewed a whole mess of curse words. "Whoa, even I don't curse that much...." Dock proclaimed, a bit unnerved by what he was hearing from Katie. "W-W-What?! Hey, let's kill him now before he get's another chance to do something!" Lock suggested as he pointed his revolver towards Katie. "Power Power Flame Fist!" Lock shouted. However, before the attack could fire, Katie threw a knife into Lock's revolver with expert precision, thus, rendering his revolver into a bomb that was about to go off. "W-W-What?! Oh no, oh no, oh no!" Lock shouted seeing his gun becoming heated and the metal expanding. Suddenly, an explosion occured, causing Lock to sustain a large amount of damage and knocking him out cold. Dock shield himself from the dust of the explosion, but once the dust cleared, Dock could see very well what was the result of that explosion, another down teammate. "GAH!!! LOCK!!! NO!!!" Dock shouted, comically slapping both hands onto his cheeks with his mouth wide open and his eyes bulging out. Then, Dock looked towards Katie, who was now gone from the spot where she was lying at. Dock then looked at Katie who had just fired a Blizzard Breaker towards him. Too slow to react completely, Dock only managed to doge one or two shards and the rest impaled into him. And if that wasn't enough, Katie fired an Iron Shot which collided with Dock directly, sending straight into a wall, and leaving him almost dead. All three were defeated. On the surface, Black stood up from his feet, his face showing signs of nervousness and fear. "(At least I know this isn't his full power. Maybe I can still win this!)" Black thought to himself. Black then thought of an idea to use against Flint, however, he will have to be fast for this idea to work. Black cautiously and slowly began to move to the left. "(What is he up to now?)" Flint thought to himself, watching Black's movements. "No more games! Solis Charge!" Flint shouted, shooting out another Solis Charge at Black. Seeing this, Black quickly began to run as fast as he could to the left, and since Solis Charge could only curve a little, Black was able to dodge the attack. Solis Charge then created an explosion, rumbling the earth. "Arrg, that's right, Solis Charge can't change its trajectory too much." Flint said. Flint then realized that he still has to keep an eye on Black and quickly looked for him. When he finally saw Black, his eyes widened with shock. Black held his revolver towards Catherine's head, pointblank. Black held a large, evil grin on his face as he looked at Flint. "Hehe, so, you want to fire another shot at me? If you do, I can't guarantee this woman's life. "Damn you Black! Let her go!" Flint shouted angrily. "Or what? You damn idiots trying to act like heroes always say the same thing like 'Let her go'. You do know you can't do anything about it right?! Hahahaha!" Black laughed maniacally. Black then began to move closer to Flint, all the while dragging Catherine across the ground. "Now, if you shoot at me, she will die as well as those other two got it?!" Black asked with a smile still on his face. Flint could only clenched his fists in anger at the dirty trick Black was using. "Now then, stop your powers or she'll die!" Black shouted. Flint stood there for a moment in anger, but finally stopped his powers causing the flames surrounding his to die down to nothing. "Hehe, Dark Vortex!" Black shouted as he shot a Dark Vortex at Flint. The Dark Vortex quickly wrapped itself around Flint and burned him with the dark flames. Flint then fell to his knees after recieving the burns. Black pushed Catherine down and pointed his revolver at Flint's head. Flint looked up at Black, his breathing was heavy. "This is what happens when you cross 'Black' Buck Ford!" Black shouted before pulling the trigger. All there was, was a single "Bang!" from the revolver firing. Flint's eyes widened, but it wasn't because he was shot, it was because a man with long, dark red hair wearing a large brown cowboy hat was holding onto Black's wrist and redirected the shot towards the sky. "Using a woman to blackmail a kid? That's below a man...." the mysterious individual spoke. Black's eyes were wide with fear, his mouth gapping. Black knew who this man is just by his dark red hair. This man is a member of the current Boss of the Plains, Byron Maverick A.K.A. "The West King" and the leader of the famous professional gang Sons of Liberty. Black couldn't even speak in the presence of Byron Maverick, all he could do is watch. Byron then quickly punched Black in the stomach and knocking his out cold. Byron then turned and walked towards Flint. Finally stopping in front of Flint, Byron held out his hand. Flint took it and stood up off the ground. "Are you alright there Kid?" Byron asked. "Umm yeah.... Hey thanks a lot mister, but I could've taken him." Flint proclaimed. This caused Byron to laugh. "(This kid doesn't even know who I am does he?)" Byron thought. "Uhh what's so funny?" Flint asked. "Oh nothing.... I'm sure you could've taken him Kid, I can see that you have potential Kid." Byron commented. "Thanks- My friends!" Flint realized as he ran over to Catherine, Ron, and the bartender. "Looks like they're still unconscious. Umm do you think you could help me wit-" Flint looked over to Byron only to find that both him and Black are missing. "What the- Where did that man go?" Flint asked. -Meanwhile- ((Sorry for this being so short, I didn't have anything else to write about)) "You are permitted to break some of his bones, it doesn't matter to me....
