Desu the Blue Nerd
OoC: Huzzah! IC: This time Michael saw it coming and managed to get away as the bullet was coming for him. The pure power and the surronding winds of the bullet managed to knock him completely onto the ground though. As he was crawling and being knocked down he thought to himself, "Wind gunspells. Fast, powerful, range, and area of attack. Just one of those are dangerous. But why won't he use them in succession. No comboing? Maybe that's it! This is my chance. Michael pressed the barrel of his silver revolver against the ground and fired off his shockwave with the recoil off of course. The powerful shokwave caused dirt to fill up the air in a 10 foot radius. He threw his silver revolver at Harvey hoping to cause a distraction. If he was lucky knock Harvey's revolver out of his hand. Michael then ran over to his black revolver and picked it up. Using the dirt cloud as cover he charged at Harvey. Michael aimed the revolver behind him and after quickly muttering, "Reinforce," pulled the trigger. As the recoil sent him flying out of the cloud he dropped the black revolver and took out his pistol. He aimed at Harvey's head and pulled the trigger. Hotaru987
Ooc: I keep loling at the fact your character keep messing up Black's name!! Katie slowly made her way to the Inn - quickly running to hide a few times when she spotted the sheriff's daughter - her mind already off of what happened in the saloon a few minutes ago. She wasn't really one for celebrating, but more importantly she didn't want to get stuck with the bill of anything that was broken. She entered the fairly large Inn gaining the attention of the clerk. It was a young man and from the looks of it probably in his early twenties. He looked board beyond beliefe. "Can I help you?" He sighed out probably from having to repeat that line thousands of times. "The name is Kai, and I'd like my room for the night." Without another moment he handed me a key, and I paid the 300 daploons for the night. "The prices seem to be getting higher and higher." Katie mumbled entering her small room. "But I suppose it doesn't matter. I could use a nice shower though." And with that thought she entered the bathroom connected to the room. Katie suppose having the sheriff's daughter fancy her so much wasn't a bad thing at times. But it would be funny to see her face if she knew I was a female too. Not long later she exited the bathroom wearing a t-shirt and some shorts. Now it was only too obvious Katie was a girl, especially without the wrapping around her chest. She laid her other close on the desk in the corner, along with her two revolvers, pistol and knife. The last two usually being hidden in either boot. "Guess now I just wait for sunset." .:Blu:.
Flint continued to stay at the saloon, helping the bartender, Catherine, Ron, and some other gunmen to clean up the place. "You know Flint, you don't really need to help us clean. You've helped us quite enough, and besides, you have to prepare for your duel today at sunset." Catherine proclaimed. Flint stopped his sweeping and wiped the sweat off of his forehead. He then proceeded to smile at Catherine. "Hehe, don't worry! I've made this mess and I'm willing to help clean it up! Besides, I'm already prepare. I have my two revolvers right here with me." Flint responded. "Yes, but you do know that Black uses dark gunspells right? The forbidden dark gunspells. That's why his bounty is so high. To be using dark gunspells is a crime all on its own even if you haven't harmed a fly. Are you sure you can beat him?" the bartender asked. "Nope!" Flint said happily. "Nope? Then why did you accepted his challenge?" the bartender asked with a surprised expression. "Well, because I want to help the people here. Besides, in life you can't be one hundred percent sure about everything. But I do have confidence in my abilities to put up a pretty good fight against him. Besides, if I don't win him, there is always a second person." Flint said. "Who?" the bartender asked. "Kai." Flint answered bluntly. "How do you know if he is willing to step up and help if you fail?" The bartender didn't think Flint was being very rational. "Well to tell the truth I really don't know, but, I'm willing to bet that if it comes to it, Kai will step up to help. There's good in him you know." Flint explained. "('The Red Bullet'.... Will he really be willing to help?)" the bartender thought, unsure of what to make about Flint's statement. "(However, I'm willing to bet my chances on Kai as well, thanks to this energetic Kid.)" the bartender thought with a smile. Finally it came, the sun was beginning to set on the day, and the duel was getting ready to start. Everybody in town gathered at the duel to watch the excitement. All of Black's men are rooting for Black, while most of the townspeople are rooting for Flint. Some people didn't know who to root for. There were even bets going on. However, it seems the favor of the bets were leaning towards Black. Dust kicked up into the air as the evening wind began to blow. Flint and Black stood fifteen feet away from each other, eyeing each other from afar. The duel is jus moments away.... -Meanwhile- Harvey stood there, smiling when he saw Michael being knocked down by the sheer force of the Wolf Fang gunspell. However, his smile vanished and replaced by a look of surprise when he saw Michael shot a shockwave into the ground causing a huge dust cloud to form and essentially blinding Harvey due to the thick cloud of dust. Harvey quickly covered his mouth and nose to prevent breathing in the dust. "(What the hell is this kid planning now?!)" Harvey thought to himself. As the dust began to clear a bit, Harvey could finally see through the cloud. The next thing he saw however was Michael taking his pistol and aiming a shot at Harvey's head. "(What?! He used the damn cloud as a cover!)" Harvey thought, his face showing a surprised and angered expression. There was even a drop of sweat running down the side of his face. The bullet cruised straight towards Harvey's head. "AHHHH!!!!" Harvey shouted loudly. Suddenly, large amounts of wind began to blow around the area. The wind was powerful enough to misdirect the bullet. The bullet then hit Harvey into his right arm. Harvey's revolver dropped to the ground as well as Harvey, who fell to his knees, his arm bleeding. Harvey was breathing rather heavily as if he had just ran two miles without slowing down. "(Damn it, I didn't think I had to resort to exerting that much energy.)" Harvey thought to himself. Suddenly, from the distance, the sounds of a tank could be heard. Immediately, Harvey knew that it was the West Republic Army going here to arrest him. Harvey put up a smile and looked at Michael. "Hehe, you're good kid, but it looks like you won't be able to kill me today." Harvey said as he took his revolver with his left hand and point towards the ground. "HAHHHH!!!!" Harvey shot out a blast of pure wind energy which caused a large cloud of smoke to cover the area. Harvey's revolver then began to glow silver and shattered, causing a current of powerful wind to sweep Harvey off the ground and carry him off hidden by the thick dust cover. When the dust finally cleared, Harvey was nowhere to be seen, and the tank was approaching ever closer. If Michael wanted to avoid an interview, it is best that he should leave now. ((This major battle has ended and so I placed the result of this battle in the OOC. You have another battle with Harvey later on, but you'll have to find him first.)) Desu the Blue Nerd
"No-No! There goes my 10,000 daploons...and now there's a freaking tank coming this way..." He looked back to see the dead bodies of the two West Army soldiers. "O-Oh Crap! If I'm caught here then I'll be blamed for that!" He quickly picked up his guns and put them in their respective holsters. Then as quickly as he got his guns he got out of there and back torwards Silver Town. As he was running he thought to himself, "10,000 daploons...I was so close...even if I only kept half that's a lot of money." Michael stopped behind a large rock. He was exhausted and the shade from the rock just seemed so inviting. He took out his canteen and drank some of the water from it. He then shook it around to get a good estimate of how much was left. "About...one-eighth is left..." Michael let out a sigh. "I wonder if this will be enough to get back to Silver Town with...but maybe i should just take a quick nap first..." He took off his jacket, bundled it together, and layed it on the ground. Then he put his head on it and fell asleep.
Hotaru987
Before Katie realized it she had fell asleep on the bed, though her dreams were filled with images of her past. That alone garunteed that she would wake up before long. And soon she was jearking awake, her breathing labored and sweat rolling down her face. "D-damn...." Whas all she could utter before looking at outside to see it was almost time. Taking a few minutes for her self she took a few deep breaths. Once that was over she quickly got dressed, only taking time to bind her chest so there wouldn't be a mistake. When she left, her disguse as Kai was in flawless execution. It didn't surprise her that word had spread of the new kid, Flint, having a battle with the infamous 'Black' Buck Ford. There were so many people watching, either outside or from their houses. There were also people gambling on who would win, and that instantly perked her interest. Katie couldn't resist a good bet. She walked over to a couple of people, "I got 1,000 that Black will loose." The other four there stared at me in shock. "You sure you wanna do that?" One asked, before another said. "That skrawny kid ain't gonna beat THE 'Black' Buck Ford." Katie simply smirked. She was going to reply but she was suddenly being dragged off by her arm. Was the shock wore off, Katie instantly knew the only person here that would do that. "Hello again Mi'lady." The sheriff's daughter - who's actual name was Cheri, pronounced like the fruit - was was culprit. "I wanted you to watch with me Kai." Katie wanted to ask why she was there in the first place but didn't. "Sure." Katie took the lead, moving to a spot where she would be close, be able to see what happened, but not be seen by either Black nor Flint. She wanted to blend in a good as possible but Cheri made that physically impossible. "I hope your friend wins." Katie turned to the soon starting match. So do I.....I have a 1,000 daploons on Black losing She thought about what Flint had asked of her earlier at the saloon. [FlashBack] Flint then became rather serious and look at Katie. "Hey Kai, if I don't win, you'll have to take my place and beat Black. Will you promise me that?" Flint asked [End] Katie didn't give him an answer and simply left the Saloon. To be honest she didn't know if she would be able to keep that promise if she made it. Katie didn't like people like 'Black', and felt a need to help those who are unjustly bullied by those of power...But...Flint isn't weak, and that she was sure of. But what surprised her was how he so readily trusted her with something like that. Their conversation lasted for maybe two minutes, and that was it. So why did he trust her like that? Katie simply smirked, "We'll see Flint...You may just have a joker in your hand." Ooc: I didn't see that line before, thats why I didn't reply to it. So I made an excuse for it, lol. .:Blu:.
((No harm done Hotaru )) The cool wind continued to blow through West Town kicking up tiny streams of dust that moved across the ground. Flint had a serious face on. It wasn't his usual happy and energetic face anymore. "Heh, I gotta give you credit Kid. You have guts to accept my challenge, but in the end, that would be your last mistake. Don't expect me to show any mercy just because you're a kid." Black warned. "Just because I'm a kid doesn't mean that I can't wipe the floor with you! You think you can pick on the weak and get away with it? You're going down for your unforgiveable crimes 'Black' Buck Fork!" Flint shouted as he pointed at Black fiercely. Black's eyebrow began to twitch out of annoyance. "You idiot my name is Buck FORD!" Black shouted comically. "Humph, the time has come for you to taste the bullets of my revolver! I can guarantee you Kid that this will not end pretty for you! Hah, I'll be willing to let you forfeit if you crawl on your knees and kiss my boots!" Black taunted. "Humph, I rather just wipe the floor with your face Buck Fat!" Flint scoffed. "FORD you idiot!!!!" Black comically shouted. "Whatever!!!!" Flint comically shouted in response. "Humph, the time has come! Now to count it down.... 1!" Black began. "2!" Flint shouted. "3!" Black continued. "DRAW!!!!" Both Flint and Black yelled at the same time. Flint quickly drew Nova and got in the first shoot towards Black's stomach. Black then shoot a bullet of his own, resulting in both bullets colliding with each other and making a metallic boom. Black then took out his second revolver and began to shoot multiple bullets in a whipping manner. Flint also took out his Rebeller and with Nova, began to whip multiple bullets of his own. The bullets of both gunmen collided with each other as they tried to reach the respective enemy. With each bullet colliding with each other came the same metallic boom. The way they were battling could be compared to swords clashing except with bullets instead of blades. Flint retained a serious face while Black had a maniacal grin on his face. They were evenly match. "You're good kid, I'll give you that!" Black commented. Then, both gunmen ran out of bullets and quickly began to reload with amazing speed. However, Black was a bit faster than Flint. "Allow to show you why they call me 'Black'!" Black shouted as one of his revolver began to give off a black and purple hue. "Dark Vortex!" Black then shot one bullet that was covered with a black and purple aura that gave off an ominous feel. The bullet began to rotate in large circles, creating a vortex appearance as it headed for Flint. Flint's face showed signs of surprise seeing the gunspell. Then, the bullet began to encircle Flint and lift him a couple feet into the air. "W-What's going on?!" Flint shouted. The dark aura then began to speed up its rotation and closed in on Flint as it burned his body. "AHHHH!!!!" Flint yelled in pain. When the aura disappeared, Flint fell onto the ground, his body showing signs of burns. "Ugh.... What was that....?" Flint asked weakly. "HeheheHAHAHA! That was a dark gunspell, and a fire-based one at that!" Black answered. "T-That was fire?" Flint asked with a surprised look. "That's right. That was fire. Now stand up so I can knock you back down some more, hahahaha!" Black laughed maniacally. The people around were surprised and began whispering about the battle. -Meanwhile- The wind carrying Harvey finally dispersed and Harvey fell face first to the ground. "Arrg, damn that kid.... He's got more skills than I thought.... I will not underestimate him the next time, but I will get my revenge...." Harvey proclaimed. Harvey then struggled to stand up off the ground and finally after a brief moment he did. Harvey was close by to a river. He walked towards the river to fill up his canteen. "Now I need to get back to my hideout to clean this wound. I'll remember where that bastard shot me, and I will pay him back." Harvey said before walking off towards the direction of a strange cave. Hotaru987
Katie was impressed by Flint's ability to keep up with Black the way he was. Sparks were apearing out of thin air from where the bullets would collide with one another. So far the two Gunmen were going pit for pat. Though she knew that they would run out of bullets soon, and the one with the faster reload would have the upper hand. Once their guns clicked empty they both reloaded. Flint was fast, but sadly Black was faster. Katie stepped forward, but quickly moved back and masked the worry that fitted on her face. That small window was enough for Black to squeeze out one of his forbidden gunspells. She heard about the rumors but had never seen one for herself, and she was curious despite the worry she felt over Flint - I mean the money. Black unleashed his attack "Dark Vortex", and it made painful contact with Flint, lifting him into the air for a few seconds before droppign him back to the ground. "Oh my god!" Cheri whispered her hands flying to her mouth, and eye's wide. She took the words right out of Katie's mouth. "It must be a fire attributed gunspell..." "He's gonna die out there! He was a fool for thinking he could win." Cheri said, clearly worried for the young energetic Gunman. Katie turned her eyes to Flint's burnt body. "Come on Flint...Get up..." .:Blu:.
"That kid's gonna die." "What was he thinking?" Some villagers uttered. The bartender watching this clenched his fists tightly. "Come Kid, don't die...." Those were the only words the old man could say. "Ugh...." Flint struggled to get up off his feet. When he finally got up off the ground, everybody could see the vivid burn marks left by Black's forbidden gunpell. Flint was breathing heavily, clenching tightly onto his revolvers. Flint then fired four shots at Black. Black quickly parried them with four shots of his own. "Take this! Bust Nova!" Flint shouted trying to use one of his gunspells. However, smoke only seeped out from the barrel of his revolver, leaving Flint shocked. "Hahahaha! Nice gunspell Kid, you left me shaking in my boots! Hahaha!" Black laughed as he was enjoying the punishment he was dishing out on Flint. "Damn it...." Flint uttered to himself before firing off four more rounds. "This is getting boring Kid. Sigma Twister!" Black's revolver began glowing in the same dark aura once again. Then three bullets were fired from the revolvers. The bullets were colored purple unlike regular rounds. The bullets then changed trajectory and collided with each other. Upon collision, a small black and purple twister was created. Flint's bullets were dragged into the twister, leaving Flint shocked by the power of dark gunspells. Then, the twister flew towards Flint, ripping the ground as it neared Flint. When the twister finally collided with Flint, it lifted him off the ground and began to spin him wildly. "Hehe! How fun is this huh?" Black asked. The twister then slammed into the ground, taking Flint with it. "AHHH!" Flint shouted as he was slammed into the ground. "Dark Vortex!" Black used another Dark Vortex technique. Once again, it lifted Flint of the ground and bind him while burning his body and causing intense pain. "AHHHHH!!!!" Flint shouted. Catherine watched in dismay as Flint was being tortured. She covered her mouth from the pure shock seeing a person who had helped you being tortured. Tears began to ran down her cheeks. Ron placed his arms around her and closed his eyes then lowering his head in pain of watching Flint. The bartender clenched his fists even tighter while closing his eyes and lowering his head as well. Tears could also be seen flowing slowly from the bartender's eyes. He gritted his teeth and prayed for Flint's safety. Black continued to have fun, using his Dark Vortex over and over to burn Flint brutally. After four or so of the Dark Vortex technique, Flint's skin was darkened by the burn wounds. However, Flint continued to stand up and take the punishment. Most of the townspeople had to look away as Flint continued to take the punishment, and about all of them thought he was a fool for accepting the challenge. It was a difficult thing to watch, that was for sure. "Flint! You can do it Kid don't give up! Show him what true strength is!" the bartender suddenly errupted. "Flint, my dad believes in you! I believe in you! You can win!" Ron then shouted. Cathering didn't say anything, but she was praying the whole time for Flint. Some of the gunmen from the saloon earlier began chanting Flint's name. Flint could hear them chanting his name. "(I can't lose.... Not to a guy like this....)" Flint thought to himself. This only caused Black and his men to laugh wildly as if it were a big joke. Hotaru987
The following events were obviously played in Black's favor. When Flint yelled out his own Gunspell, Katie watched closely to see what he would do, but instead of an attack his gun simply started smoking. A large sweatdrop appeared on her face - What the hell was Flint doing! At this rate he'll lose! "But more importantly I would've lost my bet." She whispered low enough for no one to hear her. Things looked bleak for her money pouch when Black sent a barrage of attacks at Flint; by the end leaving his skin dark and burnt. But even that didn't stop him from standing back up. Katie had to admit. Flint had some real guts - a a lot of pain tolerance - to still want to fight after all of that. Some of the towns folk began yelling encouragements; among them being a few Gunmen and the three people they helped earlier in the saloon. "Come on Flint! You can win this!" Cheri yelled punping her fist in the air, then suddenly rounded on Katie a fire blazing in her eyes. "Aren't you going to cheer for your friend." "Well...We're not exactly frie-" "CHEER!!" Katie blinked before sighing. She thought about what to say for a good while before coming up with a good one. "Alright I got one." She cupped her mouth with one had and shouted, "Yo Flint! You better not lose or you owe be 1000 daploons!!" All around her people did a faceplant to the ground. Katie blinked confused, "What?"
Desu the Blue Nerd
It had been two days since Michael returned to Silver to Silver Town from his fight with Harvey. Right when he got back he looked for a job that could get him some cash to afford a hotel room somewhere. 60 daploons wouldn't be enough for a single night. He managed to find a job being a waiter at a saloon but was fired after only two hours of work for getting into a fist fight with a few customers. He had managed to win but had to say good-bye to most of his paycheck in property destruction. When the sheriff came in to see what the ruckus was all about he started laughing. The men Michael beat up were wanted for petty theft and although not much they still had a bounty on their head. Michael was given a 500 daploon reward. Michael then spent the night comfortably...ish...in the cheapest hotel he could find. The next day he just spent the day like mosy days doing odd jobs for random people. It mostly just consisted of being an errand boy or fixing something. He stayed in the same motel room as the night before since it was the cheapest he could find. Now he was just sitting in the booth of a restaurant nearby the motel he had stayed at the previous two nights. He was enjoying a simple breakfast of bacon, eggs, sausage, and toast with a glass of apple juice. "Let me think...I had 60 daploons then I made 10 from waitering. I got 500 from those bastard's bounty. I made 200 from my hard work yesterday. Now let's think about how much I lost...100 daploons from that roach ridden room...I've been managing to skip some meals so I've only spent 80 on that...altogether that's 180. So I'm currently at...590 daploons...That's a 530 daploon increase in two days...although I got extremely lucky with 500 of that...If only I had Harvey's head..." As if on cue the same drunk idiots from two days before had walked in. Althought it was nine in the morning they were drunk and loud. Or maybe they were just stupid. It was hard to tell. The drunkest and/or stupidest of them began to talk, "Did you guys hear? Harvey has killed more people. Appareantly two West Army Soldiers and and a few travelers who were just sightseeing." The smartest of them seemed to be annoyed. You could definately tell in his face palm. "I swear. Every five minutes with you. We Were There!" Michael couldn't help but shove the rest of his food down his throat and walk over to the men. He took out his map and placed it on the table. "Where were those travelers killed?!" One of them spoke up. He hadn't spoken yet but he didn't seem stupid either. Maybe it was just that one guy. He pointed to a river on the map. "Well I heard it was around this area but if they were sightseeing then it would be at this river." Michael quickly said thanks and ran out of the saloon. He refilled his canteen, reloaded his guns, and ran off torwards the river. -2 Hours Later- After walking through the desert and drinking half of the water in his canteen he found the river. There was definately blood in the air. "Hervey's near...I just feel it..." He looked around to see a strange cave. After drinking a little bit more from his canteen he walked up to it. As he was right outside looking into it he yelled out, "Harvey!" Michael grabbed onto his silver revolver ready for anything to happen and walked into the cave. "You're not going to get away this time you ponytailed bastard!"
Mysterium Tremendum
Albin sat quietly, listening to the other patrons as they continued in their drunken fits and meaningless conversations. He always had a penchant for blackmailing people as well, and information for that purpose was often exposed at a bar or by bribing a couple people. Of course, there was another reason Albin sat at the tavern, he was waiting for a man he had a hit on. Apparently the man ran a shop that was causing Albin's client a hard time. The man, calling himself Jacob, always seemed to have an annoying smile around him that just drew people to his shop over Albin's client, so he'd been hired to kill him discretely. The price was 800 doubloons since it was a small job and the man was willing to pay no more. Through subtle coercion and bribing, Albin had found out that the man came to the tavern every Saturday. The man was due to come in soon, Albin had a picture of the man given by his client and whereby he was supposed to trail him and kill him. It was a small job, and Albin had the perfect tool for it; he borrowed a silent pistol from the drunken Robert. The man lived on a little closer to Silver Town with 1 or 2 small places where he would be alone. It would have to be done perfectly, so Albin consented to waiting it out amongst his drunken compatriots as they took deep swigs from their mugs and Albin sat in silence with a cold smile. ----xox---- The man, going by the name of Jacob B. Willington finally finished unloading the many plates and merchandise that had been brought in that afternoon. His brow littered with sweat, as he finally finished and had the time to go to the nearby tavern for a sweet, blessed drink he'd been looking forward to all week. It had been a slow week and Jacob really wanted a drink, and so near ran to the Queen's Tavern. Nothing seemed amiss when Jacob walked in the tavern, it was just as lively and bursting with laughter as it usually was at this time of the day. Jacob smiled simply and sat down at bar among the other whisky-bursting patrons and ordered a bottle of rum. After several hours of light-hearted drinking and laughing, the man finally mustered the courage to leave the pleasantness of the company and set out for home, swaying uneasily from all the alcohol he'd consumed. He swayed and walked lankily for a few blocks, occasionally tripping over himself on several rocks and the occasional staircase leading away from his destination. Swaying to and fro as he finally reached the last section of town to cross before he reached his home, Jacob started to break out in a slight jog to his home, the urge for a hot bath and a soft bed drawing him to sprint. As he neared his home, Jacob felt a thunderous pain explode from the back of his head and before he had a chance to blink, he lied face down in the dirt of the street while the dark figure holding the pistol smiled evilly. The next morning, the body was gone.
.:Blu:.
((lol, Cheri is awesome, and I love these long posts!!!)) Flint stood up once again after another beat down and slightly smiled. "1000 daploons....? Sorry, but it looks like I won't need to pay you it because I will win!" Flint yelled confidently even though his skin was burned really badly. Black's eyebrow began to twitch out of annoyance as he watched as Flint stood up time and time again after every hit. "This kid is unreal.... I think I've played enough! Now it's time for this little charade to come to an end!" Black shouted angrily. A dark aura began to form around Black, the same aura that formed on all of his gunspells. "Sigma Plauge!!!!" Black shouted as his gun began to glow a purple color. Black then shot a single bullet up into the air. While in the air, then bullet shattered into a fine black dust that gave off a purple hue. The dust then began to shake violently until they finally collected together into a large black and purple cloud. The visible side of the cloud contains a large vortex. Flint, and everybody else, looked up at the cloud in shock and awe. Suddenly, Flint felt a sense of weightlessness. When Flint looked around, he noticed that he was being lift up towards the cloud. Flint tried several desperate, and comical, attempts to "swim" down back to earth but it was to no avail. Finally, Flint was sucked up into the cloud by the vortex. "This is my ultimate gunspell, and your doom!" Black shouted. The large menacing cloud then descended at high speeds, enough so that Flint's special scarf flew off of him. As the cloud slammed into the ground, it created a pretty decent-sized explosion. It was fortunate that everybody who's watching is far away enough to be unaffected by the explosion. When the dust finally cleared, Flint was shown to be severly burned and motionless. Flint's scarf fell onto the ground, next to Black's feet. "Mwahahahaha! I have won! No one can defeat me!!!!" Black miniacally proclaimed. Everybody watched in horror as they saw the lifeless body of Flint. The bartender fell to his knees. "Look!" a little kid shouted as he pointed towards Flint's body. Suddenly, Flint lifted his head up and after a brief moment, got up onto his feet once again. "That was your strongest gunspell huh....? Then I think you need a couple of more gunspells...." Flint said weakly. Black stood there speechless grinding his teeth and his eybrow twitching. "You little bastard! Why won't you die!!!! Fine, then I guess I can take a couple of more hits at you!" Black shouted. Black then noticed Flint's scarf on the ground, and in his anger stepped on it a couple of times. That was the wrong thing to do.... Seeing this, Flint's eyes widened and his pupils became smaller. "No one.... STEPS ON MY SCARF!!!!" Flint yelled furiously as the air around him began to heat up to the point that it is visible. Everybody began to whisper about what was going on. The bartender watched in shock seeing Flint's durability and endurance. Black could only stood there watching in awe as the atmosphere in the area began to heat up. Everybody could feel the change in temperature. Flint's darkened skin began to peel off, replaced by new skin that has a reddish hue to it. Rhen suddenly, the air around Flint were set ablaze, causing everybody to gasp in awe. The old bartender watched in amazement at the brilliantly burning fire around Flint. "(So he has fire-based gunspells....)" the old man thought to himself. "HAAAHHHHH!!!!" Flint continued to shout as the flames became brighter and more intense. "Arrg, you think a little fire show is going to scare me?! Take this, DARK VORTEX!" Black shot another Dark Vortex towards Flint. Once again, the Dark Vortex wrapped itself around Flint and bind to his skin. However, this time, it didn't seem to be burning Flint at all. In fact, the flames from the Dark Vortex began to absorb in Flint's fire. "You'll pay for your crimes, and for stepping on my SCARF!!!! Solis Charge!!!!" The barrel of Flint's Nova began to glow brightly red from the heat that's building up. Then a single bullet was shot out from Nova. The speed and spin of the bullet was so great that flames began to form around the bullet. "That thing is huge! Arrg, Sigma Twister!" Three bullets were shot out and once again collided into each other then forming a large twister that headed towards the Solis Charge, trying to engulf it. As the two gunspells collided however, the Solis Charge broke through the Sigma Twister with ease and continued to move towards Black. "W-W-What?! No, how could that be?!" Black shouted. Black was so terrified that he couldn't even move. Then when the Solis Charge was close enough, it created a massive explosion of intense fire. The fire were so bright and intense that it caused everybody watching to cover their eyes or look away. After the flames have dissipated, it showed a badly burned Black on the ground. "Amazing...." the bartender uttered. -Meanwhile- ((The cut isn't permanant, it's for dramatic purposes XD. Also new major battle for you and an end to a major battle for me.)) A single bullet whizzed passed Michael's face, causing a horizontal cut to appear with blood dripping down. Harvey walked out from the dark cave, his arm fully healed. "I didn't miss if that's what you're thinking." Harvey taunted calmly. "I'll also pay you back for the wound you gave me on my right arm. Don't think I forgotten, I never forget those who crossed me." Harvey said calmly, a grin forming on his face. "I've been waiting for you for quite awhile. I was beginning to think that you wouldn't show up. I had to kill a couple of travelers to get your attention, and I'm glad it worked." Harvey explained. "Now that you're finally here, we can settle the score. Today, it's either you die or I die, and I can say that I won't be going out that easily. Well then, are you ready to get it started? I've never liked the idea of duels so we can begin our shootout whenever you like." Harvey proclaimed as he stood there eyeing Michael.
Hotaru987
"No way." Katie mumbled, blue eyes wide in both shock and amazement. This was the last thing she expected Flint to be able to accomplish. I mean, she knew he was strong but this was rediculous! He took out Black in one attack. The air itself was charged with his power. So much so it was almost tangible....It was so strong it not only fended off a dark gunspell, but completely absorbed it's power. She thought taking a step forward, and this time keeping it there. There's much more to that kid that I originally thought. "He did it!" Katie's eyebrow twitched when Cheri shouted, considering she was right by Katie's ear when she did. With a light scowl, she went to fix her hair that somehow got stuck to one side due to the force of Cheri's scream; which seemed to signal the rest of the onlookers to shout congradulations at Flint. "I'd say he more than did it." Katie nodded her head towards Black - who now more than ever seemed to deserve that name. "He's been completely barbequed by Flint. Who'd have thought he'd have it in him?"
Desu the Blue Nerd
Michael smiled when his 10,000 daploons walked out of the shadows. "I didn't think that was a miss so don't worry about me." Michael wiped the blood off of his face. "To be honest 'm not much for duels either. You should have been able to figure out why by NOW!" He pressed the barrel of his revolver against the rock wall and pulled the trigger. The shockwave caused a few rocks to come bursting out. He then took out his black revolver and aimed it at the largest of the rocks and pulled the trigger creating another powerful shockwave that sent the rock at Harvey. If it did damage, great. If not who cares. It was really just a distraction for Michael to run up to Harvey. Doing some sort of combination of crouching (to dodge anything that Harvey might use to block with) and running he attempted to get up to harvey. His revolvers were in hand ready to fight. He already had it planned out what he was going to do. "Shockwave one foot from stomach to make him bend over. Leg sweep to make him trip. As he's falling knee in the stomach but that's just to keep him in place while I give him a nice pistol whip massage until letting him drop and end with my black revolver up to his head." Of course this was just a plan in his head. Not guaranteed to what would happen.
Mysterium Tremendum
Albin smiled devilishly as he hung amidst the ever-shifting shadows. He didn't know why, but ever since he started mercilessly killing travelers and merchants, he would be filled with a demented glee when he saw the blood flow onto the ground. Maybe, he thought, he was insane; but if he was he didn't want it to end. The pleasure, the delight, the sight of broken bodies delighted him to no end. Albin stared down at the body as the blood slowly spread out onto the ground in the dark. The night sky seemed to shimmer with the 1/4 full moon that hung delicately in the background. Albin kneeled down and picked up the dead body. He had the perfect idea on what to do with the body. He'd experimented with many ways to hide the bodies of his victims, the best way is usually to burn them to ashes since people usually find them every other way. Luckily, Albin had tailed him and killed him in a place where his hideout was close by. Looking around suspiciously, Albin picked up the body, forgetting entirely about the pool of blood that had already gathered on the ground and walked carefully around the next corner to where he situated a little hub where he lived by himself. His fireplace crackled and swayed light amidst the small house as Albin threw pieces of Jacob's dead body into the fireplace amidst a little bit of wood. The body had also been cleaned of blood, Albin suspected some might take much suspicion in the blood that he decided not to clean, but no one could come to any conclusion with just some blood to go by. With a hearty guffaw, Albin smiled fiendishly and picked up last piece of Jacob's body: his head. Albin never looked closely at the man's featured, but upon inspection he discovered the reason that the shopkeeper wanted Jacob dead. Even Albin had to admit his face would draw many customers because he looked like something you'd see among rich folk. He looked to be well-groomed, his face yielded no blemishes or scars and appeared to look completely serene. Albin's fiendish smile grew wider and with one small chuckle, he threw the severed head into the growing flames and watched as the blood melted into the fire, turning it a bright red and the flesh blackened and slowly stripped from the bone underneath. Tommorrow, Albin would have to find something to do with the bones and the mash. The organs burned ok, but there hadn't been enough heat to melt the bones. With a wicked grin, Albin sat by the crackling fire with his arms crossed over his chest. (Gory, hope that's ok. I wanted to give an adequate picture of Albin's mental state at this point in time.) .:Blu:.
((Mysterium, don't worry about the gory material, just don't do it too often though)) Flint didn't pay any attention to his surroundings even though everybody was screaming with praise for Flint. Most however where devastated that Flint won because they had their money on Black. The fire coming off from Flint's skin dissipated as well as the reddish hue on his skin. Flint then slowly walked over to where Black was, seeing this, Black's men backed off, terrified at the fact that Flint might do the same thing to them. Flint didn't speak, he just took Nova and held it over Black's head. "W-W-W-Wait! I give up, I give up! Please don't kill me!" Black pleaded. Everybody looked at Black as if he was the biggest coward in history. "You don't have to worry, I won't kill you." Flint responded calmly. "Really? Thank you sir, thank you!" Black said eagerly. "But, that doesn't excuse your crimes. I'm going to take you into the local sheriff station along with your men to await the West Republic Army. They'll deal with you, not me." Flint proclaimed. Hearing this, Black was left speechless. Even though Flint won't kill him directly, the West Republic Army would surely do away with Black for good. Flint then took up his scarf and wrapped it around his neck. Flint then turned to face the townspeople of West Town. "You have nothing left to be afraid of. Black and his men will be brought into custody and-" Suddenly, a comically lifeless look appeared on Flint's face. Then, blood began to drip down from Flint's nose. A brief moment later, a loud thud was heard. Flint fell onto the ground, unconscious. His face showed a comical expression of being unconscious. All the townspeople began to whisper about what had just happened. The bartender, Catherine, and Ron quickly ran over to Flint. "People, we need to bring him to the doctor." the bartender said. "You fools! I shall remember this day! Now!" Black shouted. Then, one of his men threw a smoke bomb into the ground, covering the area in a thick black smoke. Black and his men were making a get away while Flint is unconscious. When the smoke finally cleared, Black and his men were nowhere to be seen. "Great, he got away!" one gunman yelled. "Arrg, don't worry about that right now. We gotta worry about the Kid." another gunman said as he helped pick up Flint and carry him to the local doctor. -Meanwhile- Harvey watched calmly as the boulder neared him. "Humph.... Pathetic, this won't work on me a second time." Harvey said as he pointed a new revolver towards the ground. Harvey then shot out a strong current of air from his revolver which pushed up into the air and over the revolver. "Haha!" Harvey laughed as he was above Michael's position. The boulder landed onto the cave, destroying a small chunk of it. "Aww man, you ruined my hideout." Harvey joked while still in the air. "Alright, let's see if you can fare against this attack! Wolf Fang Snow!" Harvey shouted as his revolver glowed silver. Suddenly, a barrage of bullets were shot from Harvey's revolver, each bullet taking on the appearance of a miniature version of the Wolf Fang gunspell Harvey used last time. Each bullet fell in a different direction like snow. Not all of them might hit, but Harvey was counting on a few of them to do some damage. Soon, Harvey landed onto a large boulder connected to the ground. Harvey watched to see what Michael would do while keeping a maniacal grin on his face. "I like this job, I really do." Harvey said to himself.
Desu the Blue Nerd
OoC: Sorry this took so long. I'm a bit to active in the debate on the status bar. IC: There really wasn't much Michael could do against even one of them except dodge. Now there was an army of them raining down on him. He would have to block, create somewhere else to run to, or something. He didn't have much time to do anything block. First he pointed his revolvers into the air and pulled the trigger as soon as the small Wolf Dusts were close. The shockwave would hopefully stop the shards or at least slow them down. He then made the revolvers perpendicular to the falling Wolf Dusts so that his head would be covered. "Reinforce."
Hotaru987
Katie closed her eyes a small smirk on her face. Looks like he didn’t need her help in the end after all. She watched silently as Flint collapsed onto the ground, and the three saloon people came forward to help him. Unfortunately, Black and his goons had a backup plan for an escape just in case. A large smoke screen went off and when if finally cleared they were gone. “Well there he goes…” With a smile she gained Cheri’s attention. “Cheri-“ Her face reddened just from hearing “Kai” say her name. “Can you do me a favor?” “O-of course! Anything you want!” “Just incase your father doesn’t know, go inform him that Black has escaped.” She nodded quickly and went to leave, but Katie stopped her. “One more thing. Earlier today Flint had destroyed some property in the Saloon owned by that bartender.” Katie nodded her head towards the man hauling Flint away. “He probably owes them some money. Do you think-“ Cheri surprised Katie by putting a finger to her lips; stopping Katie in the middle of her sentence. “Don’t worry about it. I’ll have my dad take care of it. He did get rid of ‘Black’ Buck Ford, if not forever, then for a good long while.” Cheri smiled then quickly left, holding the hand that touched Katie’s lips with her other. Katie watched her run off until she couldn’t be seen anymore. Seconds later she was gone from her spot, and right behind them men she made the bet with earlier. “Where do you gents think you’re going.” The three men froze in their spots, beads of sweat rolling down their faces. “N-n-no where a-at all.” One of them stuttered. The quickly turned around, surprised when they met Katie’s smile. “You weren’t really considering running away with ‘The Red Bullet’s money now were you?” Slowly, and threateningly, she walked forward until she was right on them; her smile still on her face. “Were you?” “AHHH!! Please don’t hurt us!!” They screamed hugging each other. Katie continued with her eerie smile, and held out her hand causing them to scream, as they believed that they were about to get hurt. “Then I’ll take my money now.” Blinking stupidly, the one in the middle held out the large satchel of money with shaky hands. “Th-th-there y-y-you are s-sir.” “See, was that so hard?” Katie took the money, patted the middle one on the head and then walked off. Mysterium Tremendum
After the body had been thoroughly burned and was indistinguishable from a pile of slightly red-black ash, Albin took the whole of it from the fireplace and quietly buried them in a nearby alleyway. After the ashes had been buried, Albin swiftly began his walk to the meeting place where he was supposed to meet another person before the day was over. The person claimed to have some information that Albin would be willing to pay for they decided to meet at another nearby saloon. As he walked, Albin hoped that this wouldn't be another waste of his time. The informant was a small blond-haired man, dressed casually in a red short-sleeved shirt and strange tan colored jeans. Albin quietly entered the saloon, it wasn't a very busy one but Albin was sure that no one would take much interest in him and arrange to overhear him. As he sat down, the man raised an eyebrow, "You're late, I've been waiting here for an hour." Albin broke out in a fiendish grin before speaking, "I had a piece of business I needed to take care of, you can't blame me for being a tiny bit late with all the junk that this town holds." Albin paused, "On to business, What is this piece of information you spoke so highly of that I'd be willing to pay for?" The man showed no reaction and spoke in a mild voice, "In a rush are we? I was hoping we'd be able to share a drink or two before we discuss the information. There is a lot going on these days and I'd much rather just sit here and have a nice chat with you. I've heard many rumors about you. Some call you insane, befitting your name "The Devil" and are arranging to have you assassinated. I thought that information alone would please you. I was hoping to maybe verify how insane you really are. I'd hate to have one of my most prized customers be assassinated." Albin's smile widened more when the man was finished, "I'm well aware that there are some who wish me dead, I have informants in some other places as well. I appreciate your concern, but I'm not just called "The Devil" just because others are calling me insane. I can defend myself, now onto business." The man sighed, "Very well than." "Have you ever heard of "Forbidden Dark Gunspells""? Albin rose his eyebrow, "I've heard rumors about them, they say they were part of supposed book full of them that was burned before many had the chance to read it. I found it a shame at the time, they sounded really powerful. You wouldn't happen to know if there is another copy of the book would you?" Albin finished and the man smiled, "No, the book is lost, but I happen to know about a man who read the book. He was recently spotted in a town a few miles from here, his name is "Black" Buck Ford, or so he calls himself. My informant saw him in the town not too long ago. He was facing a man he could identify as Flint Atlus." Albin smiled widely at the revelation, ": The Dark Gunspells, maybe more could all be mine, maybe the man has a copy of the book!! :" Albin's thoughts dripped with malice at the possibilities, "Where is this town and what does this Flint Atlus look like? Is he a gunman too?" Albin smiled malevolently.
.:Blu:.
((Umm there are several things I want to point out about your post Mysterium. First, Flint's nickname isn't really official so people wouldn't know about it. Second, it's Ford not Forge. Finally, Albin shouldn't meet Flint yet, I'll have him meet Flint later on in the RP, and don't go try to capture Black cause I still need him.)) Upon a small hill, next to a tree stood Flint's mother looking out into a valley. The cool breeze blew across the land, swaying the grass gently back and forth. "Mom! Mom!" a young child's voice emanated from afar. Flint's mother turned to the noise, and coming up the hill was a young Flint of about six or so. "Hehe, Mommy!" Flint rejoiced as he ran towards her. Flint's mother smiled pleasantly at him and spreading out her arms to hug him. Flint rushed towards her and when he came to hug her, she disappeared and Flint fell off the hill. Descending, Flint turned into his current age and saw his mother upon that hill. "Mom!" Flint yelled reaching out his hand to her. His mom then walked off and Flint didn't see her again. "Mom...." Flint said in a sorrowful voice. Suddenly, Flint awoke to find himself in a small room on a bed. Flint sat up on the bed and wiped his eyes. When he wiped his eyes, Flint noticed there were tears on his face. He was crying. "It was.... just a dream?" Flint asked himself. Then, the door opened and Flint quickly wiped his tears away. The bartender, Catherine, and Ron had come to visit him. "So you're finally awake Kid." the bartender said with a pleasant smile. "Yep! I'm awake hehe!" Flint said energetically. "Oh man, you were just in a crazy duel and now you appeared as energetic as if nothing has happened. You're really something Flint." Ron commented. "Guess I'm just a tough gunman huh?" Flint asked with a wide smile. "Hehe, well I'm glad that you're fine Flint. Oh, here, I brought some fruits for you to eat." Catherine said as she set the basket of fruit down on the small table besides the bed. "Thanks a lot Catherine!" Flint said before opening the basket and taking bites at two apples held in each hand. "Boy, your appetite is still strong. Tell you what, tommorow, I'll treat you to as much steak as you want." the bartender said. "Hehe, thanks a lot Old Man! But.... I can't. I have to leave town tommorow. I'm heading to Silver Town to visit an old friend." Flint responded. "I see.... Well, that's the life of a gunman huh? Well Kid, whenever you're back in town make sure you go visit my saloon you hear? There'll be some steaks waiting for you." the bartender said. "Hehe, I'll be sure to! Oh, by the way, what happened to Black and his goonies?" Flint asked. "Oh, well that's the bad news.... Black and his men escaped." the bartender answered. "Oh, I see.... Aww man! All that hard work for nothing! But at least there's some good news. I beat him so badly they probably won't ever dare to go to this town again." Flint proclaimed. "Well that's true." Ron agreed. "Hey, by the way. Where am I at?" Flint asked looking around. "Oh, you're at the local doctor building." Ron answered. Outside, people were walking calmly, a bit happy that Black was beaten. "DOCTOR???!!! I HATE NEEDLES!!!!" Flint's voice burst from the building causing the people outside to stop at the doctor building and look. It took awhile, but they were finally able to calm Flint down. "The doctor said you can leave whenever you want, but he recommends you stay the night." Ron proclaimed. "I'll stay the night. This bed is pretty comfortable anyways." Flint responded. "Well get some rest. You'll need it if you want to go to Silver Town tommorow." the bartender said. "Right." Flint responded. As the three left, Catherine turned around to face Flint. "Thank you.... For everything." Catherine said, her eyes gleaming with tears. "Heh, no mention it! Just happy to help!" Flint said with a wide smile and his hand behind his head. Catherine then left and closed the door. During that night, Flint couldn't sleep, so he decided to take a night stroll through town. "Hmm, I wonder how far off is Silver Town? I hope I'll have the energy to travel there tommorow." Flint said. Flint then walked by the saloon and noticed something on the saloon's door. It was a letter. Due to his curious nature, Flint took the letter and began to read it. What he read was shocking news. "Catherine, Ron, and the Old Man was kidnapped by Black and his men?!" Flint shouted out of shock of the news. -Meanwhile- ((No worries, oh, and it's Wolf Fang not Dust lol)) Seeing Michael's effort at protecting himself from the Wolf Fang Snow gunspell made Harvey laughed a bit. "My, my, the boy's smart and resourceful. He's also good at thinking of tatics on the spot. This will be a fun shootout." Harvey proclaimed. Instead of taking another shot at Michael while he's protecting himself from the Wolf Fang Snow, Harvey instead awaited the right moment for the gunspell to dissipate. "Now...." Harvey uttered as the gunspell stopped. Harvey then rushed in and push kick Michael in the stomach, hoping to push him back and make him lose his balance. Then Harvey could toy with Michael some more. When Harvey enjoys battling someone, he isn't going to end the fight fast.
Mysterium Tremendum
(Very well than, mistakes edited.) The man raised his eyebrow at Albin's questions, "My informant wasn't able to get a picture of him or a description, he was only able to identify him because of the crowd cheering for him. He is a gunman though. He probably won't know much about "Black" though, "Black" disappeared in a smokescreen after losing their gun duel." Albin sighed, "Pity, and just when I was ready to torture him for the information. Very well than. I suppose this is the information you wanted me to pay for than right?" Albin lost the insane smile only to be replaced with his usual business-like exterior, "I'll pay you for the trouble of coming here, and also for you to find me more information on this "Black" should more come to light, I want you to report this to me first and foremost." The man smiled at the notion, "Very Well than, the information wasn't a big help to you so I can't ask for more than 300 doubloons." Albin smiled wickedly once again, "I will pay you 500 doubloons: 250 for the information, 250 for your continued services." The man sighed and took the money that Albin produced from his pocket, "Thank you." Albin turned around, "No thanks necessary." and left the saloon. Hotaru987
After some aimless walking Katie had chose to visit Flint. She wanted to make sure he was alright, especially after a battle like that. She didn't want to stay long, and in fact she didn't; only staying long enough to hear that Flint would be fine then leaving before anyone could realize it. Now that her curiosity had been saited, heading back to the Inn was next as walking around at night wasn't on her 'to do' list. Besides, tomorrow was the day she was planning on leaving West Town, for the much more appealing Silver Town. She wanted to be out by Dawn, as to not be bothered by anyone. Though Katie was positive she'd be back; having filtered through West Town quite often for whatever the reason. By the time the Inn was in sight, Katie was so tired she was all but dead - which probably wasn't too far off. She didn't even bother to lock her door before plopping onto the bed, instatly falling asleep. Sadly, that didn't last long since some idiot decided it was a brillant idea to go shouting in the middle of the night, abruptly jarring her from her sleep - and falling off of the bed in surprise. Katie glared heatedly at the window as if it was the cause of the inturruption. "Who the hell is making so much noise?" Since she was alone the use of her "Kai" voice was unneeded. Now her voice held a light, cute, and feminin tone; quite the opposite of her "usual" voice. Looking out the window, she spotted a figure over by the Saloon. Upon closer inspection she recognized the figure as Flint. Surprise was now shown on her face. "He's awake now...." It quickly referted back to a scowl. "Well he needs to shut up and go back to sleep." With a final glare she laid back down, and covered her head with the pillow fully intending to return to dreamland. Cozmosus
(Sorry I haven't been posting, I've been away all weekend.) Silence. He waited in complete and utter silence. John was lying on his stomach, on top of the saloon in a small town. He was watching out for a small group of bandits who were in the saloon at the moment. He needed to mark one of these guys. They were working for a man called Sims. He pretty much owned the town, and everyone in it. He was a horrible man, who would stop it nothing to control all of the major cities in the west, and wasn't afraid to kill anyone in his way. John was, at the moment, trying to pin down where his hideout was so he could put a stop to this madness before it went too far. Upon hearing the doors open, John shifted into a crouching position. As the small group of bandits rode farther away from town, John raised his sights. He snapped on a scope, and pushed in three bullets. He was ready. *Thoop* He had managed to hit one of them. The man was hit in the arm, so he wouldn't die. "Gah! I've been shot!" The man yelled. The other two helped the man back on his horse. John had predicted this. They were going back to the hideout to get the guy healed. This was John's chance. C'mon, just like you rehearsed it he thought to himself. He jumped onto a horse. He didn't like to steal, but at the moment there were bigger problems at hand. He picked up a bag he had left next to the horse, and sped off after the bandits. He was going to find and kill Sims. Desu the Blue Nerd
Michael wasn't stupid enough to lose track of Harvey. He managed to keep the grin off of his face when he saw him rush at him. When Harvey was close enough he dropped his black revolver and used his right arm to grab hold of Harvey's leg. Of course this was after the actual impact of Harvey's leg which caused him to cough up some blood on Harvey's shirt. The good news though is that his balance wasn't lost by holding onto the leg. "I Don't Care How Much This Will Hurt!" As he let go of his leg he quickly stepped and leaned forward to headbutt him. As Michael did that he kicked his black revolver back up to my right hand. .:Blu:.
((Hey Ed, do you need a subplot to do until the characters meet? If so, pm me.)) Flint was a bit fired up, but knew he had to be rational and calm about what he was going to do. "Arrg, stupid Buck Pony! I've gotta do something about this! It's my fault they were captured. I shouldn't have fainted when I did. I could've made sure that they were captured and put into jail! Damn it!" Flint yelled and crumbled the letter then threw to the ground out of frustration and anger. "Oh wait, I'm gonna need that letter." Flint remembered and quickly picked it up. Flint then cleaned off the dirt and straightened the paper out, enough to make it legible. Flint then looked around eagerly, trying to find someone, but then he realized it was the middle of the night. "Arrg, who can help me with rescuing them? I need someone that can use gunspells." Flint said to himself. Then, Flint facepalmed himself. "Kai!" Flint finally said. "Where is Kai at? Maybe, he's staying at the inn! Yeah, that's right, the inn!" Flint quickly rushed towards the inn at super fast speed as if he was being chased by a stampede of bisons or something. Flint quickly rushed into the inn. The innkeeper working the night shift quickly recognized that it was the young man who defeated Black. "Hey, it's you. Can I help you with something?" the innkeeper asked casually. Flint quickly jumped onto the counter and grasp the innkeeper by his shirt collar and pulled him forward. "Kai! Room! Now!" Flint demanded. The innkeeper had a comical look of worry and fear on his face. He also gave off a nervous smile before speaking, and a sweat drop could be seen on his forehead. "Umm, do you mean Kai Rockwell?" the innkeeper asked nervously. "Yes!" Flint quickly responded. "Well then, he's in room 15 on the second floor." the innkeeper answered. "Thank you!" Flint said as he let go of the innkeeper's shirt collar and jumped off the counter. Flint then ran upstairs and paused at the hallway. He tried to see if he can fine room 15 with his eyes, but finally realized that the room was further back in the hall. Flint then ran deeper into the hallway until he finally reached room 15. "This is it! Hyaaaa!" Flint shouted kicking the door open. "Kai, wake up!" was the first thing Flint shouted. -Meanwhile- Harvey was quite surprised when his leg was caught, but was a bit satisfied to see the damage still got to Michael. "Heh, not so tough are ya?" Harvey asked with a confident smile. Then, Harvey's smile was wiped off his face when he saw Michael aiming for a headbutt. The headbutt connected, and it was a rather powerful headbutt too, causing both Michael's and Harvey's forehead to start bleeding. "Damn you kid!" Harvey yelled, feeling the pain of that headbutt. Harvey then noticed Michael kicking up his revolver. Harvey forced his leg free of Michael's grip and somersaulted backwards, avoiding a fatal gunshot if Michael were to shoot at him. "Not bad kid, but the battle's just getting started. Wolf Dust!" Harvey said as he shot out a bullet towards Michael. As with the Wolf Dust gunspell, the bullet shattered and combined with the wind, becoming a strong current of silver wind with sharp shards of the bullet still within the wind. "(This kid has probably figured out that I can't use my wind-based gunspells in rapid succession. However, what he doesn't know is that I can train myself to lessen the cooldown time between each of my gunspells so that I can fire my gunspells more frequently.)" Harvey thought to himself with a smile. -Meanwhile- ((Mysterium, this is the beginning of your subplot, sorry it's so short)) A man wearing a long black coat and a large black hat walked behind Albin, acting rather suspiciously. The man's face was quite well hidden by the large rim of the hat when his head is lowered. The man wanted to stand out to Albin so that he would notice that he's being followed. "Today, I might just be following the devil into hell for a tea party...." the man said loud enough only for Albin to hear. He wanted Albin to notice. The man must have something important to say.
