I am seriously considering what the purpose of this "club" is, other than being sort of thrown out of the RP section and not wanting to go to Games or PMs because no post count or something like that.

Discussions coming up organically is one thing, but if there's really no topic 80% of the time, there's not much reason to be called a "club".=/

Taxi this club is, like any other, a place for people to hang out. We do have topics and this place is indeed easier than having a mass of pms in your post box.

 

We share ideas about stories and make comment about any type of topic someone wants to talk about.

 

As long as we aren't doing anything truly damning then I do not see what possible "trouble" we are causing.

You'd be way better off reading the manga, much quicker that way.

But if you insist watching, just go to the wiki's episode guide; they divide the series into arcs and let you know which ones are filler.

But just know the anime ended right before the final arc, which is going on in the manga now.

Except that in most threads, there is some sort of discussion topic going on and I've barely seen anyone talking about "stories" here for a while.

 

I do urge you to review the intro and promote an actual discussion topic that runs through the thread (like DN duels being the main topic in DN Network Reloaded). I don't really want to single out clubs, but the duels are clearly the running thread there and if discussions organically come up, they don't stay like that for 5 other pages. They go back to their main topic every once in a while.

 

There is NO discussion going on if every second post is about

I've warned this thread more often than any others in this section and most clubs who actually followed the example got locked.

Besides, this one has been around for far longer and should know better by now.

...If someone posts porn on a children's cardgame board or threatens anyone, s/he should be banned.

But if someone spams the CC section up or starts talking about his grandma in TCG, I don't think s/he should be banned. But it's still silly and not something you should do, so I'm not going to keep a blind eye on it.

 

Anyway, I'll bring this up with...the other mod who's soon going to be promoted here. And then we'll see what happens to this and a few other threads.

I can see what the problem here is and unlike Thar I'm not going to use petty sarcasm to make a terrible argument. If I used sarcasm it'd never be petty. Anyway. *Cough cough.* Yeah, sure most threads get off topic every so often so often (some more than others if what I hear about the Sugar Cube Corner is correct) but the problem here is that we don't really have a defined topic. I wouldn't necessarily say it's a bad thing to have no real defined topic though. This is a general discussion thread that allows a much larger variety of conversation. In truth we really just need to watch the content a bit more and avoid more often what would be considered mini-RPs which quite frankly could be solved with just posting a link to chatzy when things begin to while keeping the hotel set to a certain topic.

 

P.S. Dissing on Lora is going too far, Opal. I don't dislike you or anything so please don't change that.
