True, though I have mused to myself what would happen if someone actually managed to TRULY mobilize them into an online army in which they can do more than hack a random website or cause protests.

I mean if you have enough people and they are skilled enough, hacking into things like television transmissions and what not are possible. Hell my brother will be working with those once he gets out of AIT <<

I honestly think the internet is already a battlefield, but not in the way we think of it.

I am still waiting on the flying cars the f*cking Jetson's promised us back in . . . what . . . 2000?

That will not happen anytime soon.

What if it did happen? Consider all possibilities.

But it won't.

Why am I not surprised? Well then. Anonymous probably really isn't a serious problem. Why destroy what you yourself love?

From my understanding they've already attempted, or actually have, hacked into CNN's news letter billboard . . .

That will not happen anytime soon.

You know we already have a car that can become an airplane, right?

But it won't.

Never say never . . . or wont in this case . . .

2010 was the year that we were supposed to have flying cars, hovering skateboards, and shoes that tie themselves.

Wanna know what we got instead? Snuggies, pillow pets, and Sillybandz.

So did every popular meme to date.

Jake,

1) Who cares? It's just CNN.

2) Yes. But adding a third dimension to casual travel is something we're not ready for.

3) See what I said after that. Changes or not they wouldn't bring complete downfall to something they like. Do people on 4chan spend time their because they hate the internet? Do you hate the internet? If they bothered to learn how to hack it as well as they have and not yet destroyed stuff that matters then they actually like the internet.

4) See what I said for three.

Didn't Mako make the Moa meme?

DF . . .

1.) It shows they can be dangerous because CNN is a global news network, so their internet security has to be tough to break.

2.) Scientists are already trying to figure that out. I say in about 2024-5 we should get flying cars if everything goes as planned.

3.) Never said they were out to destroy the internet

4.) See what I said for three

1) True. An attack is also pretty unsuspected though.

2) a. They've been trying to figure it out for years.

b1. that's just a guess.

b2. They still wouldn't see casual use. Was there a real point to splitting it up so much?

Nope.

3) Not exactly true but not exactly true that I said you said that either. Basically, what I was saying was that the idea of them doing harm to the internet or some sort web war with them starting it would be ridiculous.
