Just about anything you do can be counted as illegal SOMEWHERE in the world 8 l

And l mean . . . hey . . . if l watch it online and like it I'll go buy the DVD, so they still get their money outta me. Hell sometimes l watch it online, or the first few minutes, and THEN go watch it in theaters!

They still get their money Black . . . and that is ALL they care about.

If you read/watch manga/anime online you're doing the same EXACT thing.

Yes but it is not advertised in clubs now is it?

Plus a large majority of the manga that are read online are translated so Americans have little choice if they want to read the manga besides to view it online.

That or learn japanese and buy the originals.

Plus the thing about mangas? THey don't cost a million dollars to make.

Movies DO, so when you show movies illegally it makes it a lot harder for any movie that doesn't use the cheap 3d gimmick to come out on top.

I'd usually ask "are you talking about OVA or the anime" but seeing as both are acutally finished . . .

Yeah Hellsing is done. It is actually one of the FEW manga that knows when to call it quites instead of going on and on with the plot.

Honestly that is one of the reaosns why I like it so much. Each chapter is straight to the point. Pure action without the "frills"

I stand by my use of online movie watching. I still go see the things in theater, sometimes more than once, so I feel no guilt watching it all or parts via the internet.

Topic.Ended.

To continue Nex's point, there is a difference in downloading a movie, which means you own a copy, and viewing it.

See, manga writers never explicitly stated NOT to do it, until somewhat recently with PLEASE added. Even then, sites like Mangastream only let you back up 5 chapters max.

Movies, however, are NOT to just be viewed, much less downloaded.

EDIT: Wrong actions without remorse are the worst kind.

I was ninja'd, btw.

uh . . . okay when did I ever say I was downloading them or approving of such an act?

I am WATCHING them ONLINE. Like you watch an anime online, on a web site . . . yeah that kind of thing.

I don't download them and wouldn't even if I had the means.

No and Brad I STILL have a hellsing avi 8 /

The person as my avi is the Major, the head villain in Hellsing manga/OVA

I reiterate Nex's point.

Manga is mass-produced PAPER AND INK. Probably costs 5 bucks a copy.

Anime is NOT mass-produced, lower quality. Probably an alright sum for one episodes.

Movies are mass-produced and worth a literal fortune to make.

And yet even though I watch it online and STILL go see it in theaters, thus paying for the actual experiance, doesn't seem to matter?

Oh god I robbed them of around $7!!!

Oh my I'm going to go to jail!

Not to mention I hardly ever have the time or what not to actually watch anything online <_<

Considering that is statistically impossible for me NOT to make any money . . . because mathmatically speaking there is going to be people who WILL buy the book/watch the movie for whatever reason you can think of.

For instance I read Negima online and still buy the manga.

I watched Fast Five online and went to see it in theaters . . . twice.

So despite my usage, limited it might be, of the online means I still contribute to "footing the bill" that was created by undertaking making the actual movie/book.

There is NO way putting something online will EVER cause them to not make a single cents off of a product.

Now, seriously, end.of.topic.

Mainly because I've had enough of having to repeat myself over and over . . .

New topic!

Seeing as Black mentioned SoP we'll go with that ^^

Anyone still interested in it because, if so, I have to admit I've reached a roadblock in the creation process ^^;

Well no I don't think it should be longer . . .

But you COULD continue and make a spin-off with the two years that Alucard was missing, having Seras as the main character. Either way Hellsing: Dawn IS the . . . . I can't remember what it is actually called . . . but the story before Hellsing

...Two years?

Jake, people do not grow old in 2 years. It was 20, I think.

Hold on

*looks it up*

Okay it was actually 20 years at the BEGINNING of the series which he had been imprisioned- when Integra's blood woke him up/before you meet Seras Victoria

And yeah I was wrong, it was 30 years after the "Battle of London" that Alucard reappeared.

No, people in general are greedy.

Everyone has a bit of greed. To quote a character: "You humans all think Greed is about money and power... But everyone desires something they don't have."

And almost everyone is avaricious.
