Except they're not really consistent on that. See Battle Terminal 02 where it comes from Slayerdramon and Brakedramon or Lost Evolution where it comes from MasterTyrannomon of all the random ass things.

The video games are outrageously random, so the evolution lines they present should be taken with a grain of salt.

I think

Magnamon = Some digimon with a despair theme

Ulforceveedramon = Arkadimon seeing as they both can get super ultimate

What on earth were you smoking when you thought that up?!?!

Arkadimon's meant to be one of the most powerful Digimon ever created!! It's baby form can destroy megas with a single attack!!! You think that because they can both go Super Ultimate that makes them equal?!?!

If you've read V -Tamer then you'd know that Zero is one heck of an overpowered Digimon, he is argueably one of the most powerful singular (non-god level power) Digimon I know of. and yet he still didn't have enough power to defeat the Super Ultimate form of Arkadimon.

... My mind boggles to think of it. Though if you'd said Daemon instead...

Oh yeh and Dresden, I've been back for a while, but I still don't post as much as I should.

My evil Royal Knights which group name I'm still working on; GranDracmon, Apocalymon, Darkknightmon, Gravimon, Slayerdramon, Aegisdramon(virus), Zanbamon, Diaboramon, Dorbickmon, TyrantKabuterimon, Arkadimon (Mega), Daemon (Super Ultimate), TigerVespamon

I have an idea for a fan fic where Yggdrasil splits in 2 1 being Yggdra and the other Sil and Yuggdra disbands/destroys the royal knights and replaces them and Sil calls humans to the digital world and fuses them to some of the remains of the royal knights so they can try to save the digital world.

I also have an RP idea that has X digimon being infected with the X-Virus which currupts them and then other digimon have to defeat them to save the digital world.

I always have to facepalm a little when every situation in the digital world ends with "...and calls humans so they can do X", regardless of context. Whenever the show did it, it was at least somewhat justified, but going by fan material you'd think that Yggdrasil has the same response to world-ending situations as Zordon does.

Err, and the second idea sounds like X-Evolution on opposite day and with less Alphamon.

What digimon do you think would be in an evil/anti royal knights group???

This is a connundrum, I mean, the royal knights seem to be villians half the time anyway.

I honestly think the evil royal knights are well... the royal knights, just from a different continuity.

On a similar topic, I've always kinda wanted to see digimon versions of the actual Knights of the Round. Lancelot, Gawain, Percival and the rest. The Royal Knights KINDA fill their positions, but it's still a stretch... I guess one could place Alphamon as King Arthur, with Owryumon becoming Excalibur. If Imperialdramon is assumed to be Lancelot, it sets up Magnamon as Galahad well. Gallantmon seems like a more courteous knight than the rest, which sets him well as Gawain. This puts Omegamon into a strange position, since most of the well known knights are gone... but Sir Balin was known as "The Knight of Two Blades", and by several accounts was called the "Greatest and most Virtuous Knight", so it works to some degree.

Examon would be... tch, I dunno. Mordred perhaps? At this point, we've run out of most notable Round Table Knights and still have a bunch of powerful Royal Knights remaining.

Demon Lords + Big Death Stars = 13 Digimon. If the last two ever get revealed there'll be 13 Royal Knights, but for now you can just say that the two unrevealed ones died and that they had to bring in 2 substitute Knights (Dibs on one of them if this ever becomes an RP)

Demon Lords vs. Royal Knights is kinda overused, but now that we have the Big Death Stars, we can at least make it an evenly balanced overused plot

So then you have that as a plot point and have it be revealed that the Big Death Stars and Demon Lords are actually being partially mind controlled by an unseen force, leading to an Enemy Mine finale where all 26 Digimon join together to fight against a common enemy once the Death Stars and Demon Lords have been returned to their own self serving evil ways.

I personally prefer keeping the Demon Lords at 7 for the Fatal Sins motif... with Ogudomon added as a centerpiece.

And hey, there are worse plots than Demon Lords vs. Royal Knights. My own fic uses a variation on the idea- though admittedly, it's not going great for the Royal Knights. (One's a traitor, one's dead, one's corrupted, one's enslaved, one's sealed, a few are restricted to Yggdrasil guard-duty and the rest aren't willing to risk something happening to them as well).

Aw heck, screw this pansy detail-teasing, anyone mind if I just drop a summary of the fic?

Why do people always keep the characters within their trope? Sometimes it is quite fun to let loose a little with them.

Erm, do you mean keeping the Demon Lords in line with their Sin? Because there's plenty of room to shimmy around in there. The seven sins are broad subjects, and there are more ways to have someone represent 'Pride' without being stereotypically arrogant. In my case, Daemon actually constitutes one of the heroes despite still representing Wrath.

I had one where the demon lords were actually without the sin the represented.

And the main villians were the Great Dragons and the Sovereigns, with Azulamon playing both of those sides against eachother in his quest to summon god.

Before someone mentioned not likeing humans being summoned to the digital world but i have a totally workable explanation, humans made technology which made the digital world so humans have a power to create in the digital world because they are in essence the source of it, it works similar to imagination land in south park.
