The Warden
Awww, I was enjoying the concept of Sukamon becoming Etemon, boo boo.
Merci
Since the Digimon series usually end at Episode 50. . . does that mean Xros Wars is going to end in around ten more weeks? It feels weird thinking that.
The Warden
It's been going for around a year already.
//Zeromaru//
According to the digimon wikia yesterday was 1 year since episode 3 was aired. Which means that it should be about 1 year and 3 weeks since it started.
Merci
But I mean it just seemed so fast. It feels like only a few months ago I was anxious about it, along with Pokemon BW and Yugioh: Bonds Beyond Time, and now it's about to end. . . while Pokemon BW and Yugioh ZeXal aren't even close. Blackstone Dresden
That's because Yu-Gi-Oh! shows go on for roughly 200 episodes and Pokemon shows go on for roughly 2 billion, while Digimon shows barely break
//Zeromaru//
And Digimon packs much more story, much more intrigue, much more action and much more of everything else aswell into every single episode. Compared with Pokemon and Yugioh at least.
Blackstone Dresden
Although, now that I think about it, the whole premise of the show is basically a fusion of Pokemon, Sentai, and Digimon. Pokemon for the whole going from one Zone/Land/town to the next and beating the local boss/Death General/Gym Leader to gain the Code Crown/control of the Land/the Gym Badge while getting more monsters on your team. I think the Sentai similarities are obvious. Also, was I the only one that thought that the 7 Lands came from combining the 108 Zones and not 7 Zones that Bagramon promoted into Lands (As confirmed by Olegmon) Though, this makes me wonder what happened to the other 101 Zones (100 if you count Bagramon's area as a Zone in and of itself)
Hydra of Ages
I always figured the 7 lands were just the 108 zones crushed together, with certain zone's attributes taking priority depending on the land's ruler's whim. For example, the first land had a large chunk of water-fall area- that was probably part of a different zone than the surrounding parts of the land. Gold Land is a special one, as the attribute it took from Gold Zone was 'flooded with liquid gold'. Likely the individual aspects of the zones that make it up are hidden under the water. ~ Dākunaitomon ~
I just clap my hands at Targetmon I mean it is so boss. On another note yeah the 7 kingdoms are freaking crushed together zones I mean it is way easier to wrap your head around then tossing 101 other zones (might as well be 101 dalmations) I also found out that I think they will dub the series it's on wikipedia so I can't be sure but the dub will be dubbed (no pun intended) Digimon Fusion Battles. //Zeromaru//
Remember when they said that the zones changed depending on who the general was. I think the same applies.Bagramon turned the zones into 7 lands so that he could control them and take their negative energy easier. And because the Death generals control the lands the same way the zones were controlled, however briefly, at the end of the first part. They turn into whatever the Death general believes is a good way to create neegative energy. Oh and that's a crap name for a series. A game maybe, but a series. Definatley not. The Warden
What Alf and Big Bad said is true. Evidence is given to us during the Moon Land eps, where the Lopmon village was suddenly shrouded in eternal night when their zone was joined up with Moon Land. Merci
Digimon. . . Fusion Battles? That's a title for a game, not a show! Seriously. . .
Barian Warlord
What do you bet they won't even call it digixros or cross but instead will eather call it something like digifusion or just stick with DNA digivolution, if they do though I might go on a killing spree.
The Warden
They'd probably end up using fusion then slapping a digi on it somewhere.
Blackstone Dresden
I'd actually be fine with whatever they did, as long as they gave Shoutmon's Xrosses actual names and not just XWhatever. Also, calling OmegaShoutmon being dubbed as OmniShoutmon right now.
Barian Warlord
I like OmegaShoutmon better then OmniShoutmon, it just sounds better to me and I don't like how close Omni is to Omnimon.
Blackstone Dresden
And Omega is really close to Omegamon (Omnimon's original name) and you know why? Because Omegamon/Omnimon is the one that gave Shoutmon the ability to Digivolve by giving him the Omega inForce. It only makes sense that they would change his dub name to keep the reference intact. It's either that or they bring up the Omega inForce and relate it to the Alpha inForce, which would require them to throw in Alphamon and the Royal Knights and, honestly, it's just easier to change one name and leave the Omega letter as an artifact or say that it symbolizes the end of one part of Taiki's journey and the beginning of the next. Hydra of Ages
It's possible he'll just be called OmegaShoutmon and Omnimon's name will be left unchanged at all. Most people would assume Shoutmon gets his name from the Omega symbol that appears, and not from Omnimon. If they don't bring it up, it's not a plothole. I'm more interested in whether they'll rename that random attack OmegaShoutmon does later, where the phantom Omnimon appears around him. Something of Omega, I think it was called. Blackstone Dresden
Omega the Fusion, Hydra. And of course it'll get renamed since its name is kinda weird to say in English. Maybe call it something like Omni Sample or Classic Rock Soul, the latter keeping the Omnimon reference and also incorporating Shoutmon's music theme, the latter just keeping the music theme and also referencing the Adventure timeline for the older fans, while the newer fans will just assume it references Omnimon being the hero before Shoutmon popped in. Also, I will laugh my ass off if OmegaShoutmon doesn't get censored.
Hydra of Ages
Why? I mean, the guy has a groinspike but that's really rather tame compared to the likes of Minervamon- seriously, does Japan have any regulation whatsoever on how much boob you can show in a children's program?
Blackstone Dresden
Mervamon is probably gonna get her "talent" significantly reduced, which is probably for the best since she'll probably have back problems after carrying those, Olympia, and Medulla. Also, no, no they don't. But yeah, OmegaShoutmon's confirmed to be compensating for something.
Hydra of Ages
To be fair, it's a rather effective deterrent to below-the-belt strikes. So, if we assume that the Super Evolutions of digimon are just what they'd eventually develop into given enough time on their own (though I assume they'd be a bit less shiny. The gold paintjob is likely just a side-effect of the Super Evolution), what would the rest of the cast look like? I mean, c'mon, you gotta admit you're curious to what Dorulumon would develop into. Or Cutemon, considering he's a child and yet still capable of being the center of an extensive multi-mon Xros.
Blackstone Dresden
Cutemon could probably sub in for Lopmon's line, or Rabbitmon and then I'm stuck, and I wouldn't be surprised if Dorulumon ends up becoming Marsmon since he's catlike with flame patterns and I could see Sparrowmon becoming a less lame looking JetSilphymon, and the Monitamons I can see becoming a Kill Sat for some reason. MailBirdramon I could see having some relation to Pteramon, but going farther than that... I got nothing, ditto for Greymon and Deckerdramon (Kiriha must die), and Cyberdramon... Again, nothing. Tuwarmon looks like a modified version of Shurimon, or maybe an evolution of Ninjamon/Kougamon and again I'm lost after that and I've already stated my idea that DarkKnightmon could turn into Craniamon and Bagramon honestly could be another evolution of Lucemon FM or something like that. Merci
Funny. I was thinking the same thing yesterday, Bagramon being a Digivolution of Lucemon.
