Blackstone Dresden
Hey, I wouldn't have a problem with him if he actually knew Digimon as a franchise. That's kinda what this club is here for.
Hydra of Ages
In the mean time I'm off to go watch some old Episodes of Digimon and maybe the movie's if I can find e'm.The Xros wars probably sucks just like Data Squad anyway. Peace out! Care to elaborate why my favorite season apparently sucked? (aside from the fact you're watching the dub, but that goes without saying)
Blackstone Dresden
Savers was pretty much like Gurren Lagann to me. If you don't enjoy over the top rule of cool abuse (Like a human punching out a God through pure willpower, in the former, or a galaxy being used as a shuriken, in the latter) you're not gonna like it. If you remember that the entire concept of Digimon (Or at least the Adventure/02 and Tamers versions) makes very little sense to begin with and just go with it, then you're good. The Warden
Savers pretty much was all that, with animal abuse thrown in.
Blackstone Dresden
It doesn't count as animal abuse if the animals are sentient and can kick your ass into a wall.
Hydra of Ages
It's animal abuse in the same way that launching missiles at Godzilla is animal abuse. The difference being that Masaru's fists are more effective weapons. No hyperbole added; the guy blasted a hole through an enemy most digimon couldn't scratch with his skyscraper-sized Mega+ partner acting as the backup. Blackstone Dresden
To be fair, he does seem to be powered by rage, and he WAS punching Kurata in the face after he... let's see... created the Gizmon, made half-man half-mon hybrids, created a Digimon of Mass Destruction (That Gizmon lance thingy), threatened Thomas's sister and forced him to turn evil for a couple hours, attempting to turn said sister into a hybrid, laughing as Keenen cries over Mercurymon, and then awoke and Biomerged with Belphemon. And that's just the crap I got off TVTropes.
Hydra of Ages
It goes without saying Kurata is the most evil villain in the entire series, bar none. Even Myotismon didn't go as far as to develop methods to permanently kill digimon and create mindless automatons from their corpses/data.
Blackstone Dresden
Yes, but pretty much every one of Myotismon's henchmen ended up suffering a fate worse than death if Wizardmon's appearance in 02 is anything to go by.
Hydra of Ages
Not done intentionally, so not as bad. Myotismon had no way of knowing Digimon don't reform if killed outside the Digital World, and I hardly suspect he expected to become VenomMyotismon. Besides, Kurata killed off for real the entire Capital City of the Digital World and most of everyone on it, which is a bit worse than some random evil henchmen. Blackstone Dresden
Who's to say he didn't know? Myotismon wasn't exactly an idiot, so he may have figured that every henchmen that the DigiDestined beat would be trapped between worlds. Not saying it makes him worse than Kurata, but it definitely lessens the blow of a small amount of Gizmon
Arekku_Koro
[spoiler=Part 2 Promo Poster] From the new V-Jump. Looks like things are getting... interesting. Yes, those are Shoutmon and Greymon evolutions.
//Zeromaru//
So much gold... So very much gold!
Blackstone Dresden
Arekku, you might wanna spoiler that. It's a decently large pic. But I think we can see Yuu between Bagramon and DarkKnightmon, interesting. Everybody gets a mid season costume change, I think that's a first for this series, and I believe we're seeing Shoutmon's Adult AND Perfect in that picture (The one next to "GoldMetalGreymon" has hands, whereas the one above the two has blade arms. Unless that's Sparrowmon's Digivolution)
Phantom Roxas
And then making goo goo eye at Ryo whilst she uses up her power as Sakuyamon to make Ryo's thiingy bigger. This is rather immature, but notice how Sakuyamon removed her armor to make Justimon's sword expand. Just saying. Anyway, I really like the new designs for Xros Wars. The Perfect form of OmegaShoutmon (Wikimon says that's the name) looks like OmegaShoutmon X5.
The Warden
I calls it hows I sees it Roxas. Still, those apparant evos are quite gnarly.
Hydra of Ages
Damn those look awesome. Though it does ruin my theory that Shoutmon (or whatever his species is sans microphone) was the Rookie-stage of Tyrannomon.
Blackstone Dresden
OmegaShoutmon? Yeah, he's officially a walking Omnimon reference.
Hydra of Ages
Well, just watched subbed episode 27. It had a disturbing lack of Spadamon, but made up for it with [spoiler= spoiler]Monzaemon declaring Kitchen Kombat after taking a bite out of a red bell pepper and summoning Kitchen Colosseum. In any case, 28 seems to be a Cutemon-focused episode. Previews showed a lot of him and Dorulumon, as well as talking about unlocking some sort of ultimate power. Seems intriguing at the least, especially since an 'ultimate digimon' is apparently being resurrected in the caves where they ended up.
Blackstone Dresden
I'm just glad we didn't get Weddinmon and Shortmon. Cake. Digimon. WHY?!
Hydra of Ages
They're saving that for the Cake Boss parody.

Hydra of Ages
Reality cooking television show about people competing to make ludicrously overcomplicated cakes for rich parties/weddings/whatever. It's rather popular.
