Phantom Roxas
The manga is always better than its anime counterpart for any series. Not at all. This argument is usually applied because the manga lacks fillers that the anime has, whereas the Xros Wars is an entirely different story than the anime, with the only similarities in terms of plot structure being the first episode and chapter. I've looked over the Yu Yu Hakusho manga, and I know enough to decide that the anime, particularly the English dub, is the superior version. The manga had a lot of episodic stories at first, and the pacing of the anime worked well without them. The short stories that take place before the Dark Tournament arc, such as the battle with Hiei, training with Genkai, and rescuing Yukina all serve a purpose. The only thing I know about the manga that I like more is the revelation of the true main villain. The Megaman NT Warrior manga would like a word with you. Could you put in spoiler how it ended? [spoiler=I don't know all the details...]...but Bokutachi no Digital World has the new V-Jump issue. [spoiler=My thoughts]• Quartzmon looks like a D-Reaper reject.• HOLY S*** ULTIMATECHAOSMON.• F*** YEAH MEGIDRAMON ARMY.• Nene's dressing sequence is hilarious.• Apparently Luminamon is a separate Digimon. Good.• Glad to see everyone in their Hunters outfits.• SKULLKNIGHTMON LIVES! I so want a spin-off manga about his adventures with Luminamon and DeadlyAxemon. I call it "Digimon Xros Wars: The Legend of SkullKnightmon & His Amazing Friends".• Much better way of aiming for a crossover with the past seasons. Now that the manga is finally over, and the anime is ending soon, I can hopefully resume brainstorming for Hopeless Paradise and not flipping tables every time I see a Digimon I was going to use. Hopefully the next season uses more original Digimon and doesn't make the same mistakes as Xros Wars, by which I mean that it must stand on its own rather than desperately adding in every other character in the anime in an empty attempt to regain the old fans. ❤ Lovely Warrior ❤
Some times the Manga goes way past the Anime. Like the Manga for Sailor Moon and Soul Eater go way beyond where the Anime ended.
Phantom Roxas
In cases such as that, then I can agree. However, when a manga and an anime have the same ending, or diverge in story like Fullmetal Alchemist did, then that's where one can't immediately declare the manga superior. Rave Master ended way to soon, and right when the rest of the plot had just started.
❤ Lovely Warrior ❤
Rave Master? Wasn't that the show with the kid and his friend and they played cards and there was this guy called the black knight who wore pink at the end? If it is I was never that big of a fan of it. Some Anime like Naruto for example run 80% on filler. Naruto was great and on par with the manga right up to the end where it was filler galore. I happened to like some of the filler it gave some characters namely Tenten, Ino, Shino, and Hinata the spotlight they deserved but never got in the Manga. So in some cases filler is good and can be great. Some of the Naruto filler arcs where relly just superb and the movies which could be considered filler were great to. So I guess I was wrong about the Manga always being better. Though sometimes it is.
Phantom Roxas
I think you're thinking of Duel Masters. Rave Master is about a guy who inherited a powerful sword and went on a journey with a carrot-nosed dog to defeat an evil organization known as Demon Card. I agree about some of the filler arcs being fun, but the Curry of Life arc actually did get a connection to the manga, as the anime-exclusive Seven Swordsman's weapon shows up in the manga. I also appreciate how the anime places the filler arcs, but the awful pacing of the Bleach manga forces the anime to insert filler into the worst places, and most of them are just sudden with no possible placement in the series timeline. The Warden
Why flip the table when a mon you were going to use is used? Frankly, it makes little difference in the long run.
Phantom Roxas
I wanted to be the one to use the Digimon before the anime did, so that's why. If someone else was writing a fanfic and used that Digimon, I would be fine with that, but not if it's the anime. Not sure why, but oh well. Besides, I can take solace in the fact that I wouldn't handle the Digimon as poorly as Xros Wars did with nearly all of the past villains.

I stopped watching Bleach after the Rescue Rukia arc. After that it just went crazy. I liked it more when it was a monster of the week type to rescue a friend anime than what it is now. The Warden
I was thinking about finding a means to use Bagramon in a later fic, after I find the will to continue Unity, I REALLY need to get back to that, sighe.

Hydra of Ages
Detail the exact chain of events that led to someone flipping their sheet and breaking the Code Crown into pieces. While also taking into account the above suggestions. Plotoids:Digital World had a usual Yggdrasil/Royal Knight setup and all was good.Except it had a usual Yggdrasil/Royal Knight setup and that always seems to lead to genocide for some reason.Bagramon leads rebellion verses Knights & Yggdrasil, crazy things happen.Someone erases Yggdrasil and makes the Code Crown from his key program components.Examon Rage Quits and breaks the crown/world into pieces before separating into Brakedramon and Slayerdramon.Something something Omegamon's a ghost now.Napster is created, creating an internet Sound Revolution. The Warden
I already have my ideas on what to do in The Last Incarnate, so don't worry about that matter; my greatest concern is finishing Unity. Also, Yggdrasil isn't a complete sociopath. Also, I think that this awesome xrosover may in fact be the end of the Tamers era for Digimon. See, I thought about what gimmick they COULD use for Season 8, and then I realized something, how ELSE can you Digivolve or improve something? There are quite a few ways currently and the wishing well may be getting a little dry. So then, what about just removing the Tamer element all together? We've had 7 seasons of human interference, maybe it's about time the Digimon started handling matters in their own world for once. It worked in X-Evolution after all. Nexev
I actually already had an idea for that. I called it Ghost Digivolving. The premise is that they DID try to beat the big bad with full power all by themselves and they actually got pretty f***ing close. But no cigar. Anyway in order to keep them from reaching their former power and once again posing a threat after they hatched from a digiegg, the bad did NOT kill them, rather moved their body programs to a seperate folder. This made the digiheroes incoporal and helpless. So the zordon of the show had an idea. To take a digimon or the like and have the ghost digimon use that body to save the day. However digimon proved unsuitable for this, a digimon possesed was only a possesed digimon, not any stronger or anything. BUT humans have lots of untapped potential which could be converted to extra memory if the humans went into the digital world. Making them perfect for possesion. This makes the ghost digivolution sortof like spirit evolution but the personal growth of the tamer and the digimon directly affect the overall power. More later. The Warden
So, the premise of the Ghost Digivolution is not dissimilar to Spirit evolutio, except that it's a human body sharing a human and digimon soul.

Hydra of Ages
So apparently I've fallen behind on my episodes. Let's fix that. [spoiler= 74]KnightChessmon has been long overdue for an appearance.Children playing Collectable Card Games is admittedly probably one of the best places to look for Greed. That much is obvious.Taiki seems oddly slackerish this episode, basically doing nothing if nobody else tells him to do such. Taking a step back to yet Yuu have center stage for a minutes, perhaps?I think this is the only episode where Tagiru has no victory whatsoever. So, uh, exactly why did Yuu forget his speciality is trapping bigass things like that in the first place? [spoiler= 75]The pink ones are always the most devious.Bakomon is strangely endearing. I think Taiki is starting to regret training Tagiru for this whole 'protagonist' thing.Hey look, a Piedmon pre-evolution! Jokermon has an amazing design, one of my favourites yet.Uhm Bakomon I don't think you're supposed to let Hunters into the digimon-filled wonderland.THAT IS NOT A RIDE.NO SERIOUSLY GUYS ITS A LIVING SEPHEROT WITH EYEBALLS CALL HELPBakomon is still adorable. Tagiru, I don't think Taiki and Yuu will be up for kidnapping people, especially with the creepy Rapist Kabballah in the background.Yes Tagiru, put the pieces together. Perhaps the vilified representative of ancient religious law isn't just a ride and actually IS an evil being of seduction (err... not the sexy kind).Bakomon, Jokermon wasn't even trying to hide he's an insane cult leader, how many times can you have possibly missed his ritual sacrifices to the park's premier ride?Oh god it's even worse than I thought. Sephirothmon is keeping them in a forced state of euphoria within him.Still does that overpowered "Return Attack to Sender" thing, I see. Yuu, if it didn't work twice, why would you think it would work a third time?Jesus, this is possibly the most disturbing episode yet. Phantasmic images of kids in utter terror being forced to laugh against their very will? Creepy as all hell.Hell yeah Bakomon. Bit of a weaksauce weakness there, but hell I'm not complaining.Taiki is slowly but surely amalgamating an entire pantheon of dark gods in his loader.Bit of a nice moment with them regretting the silence of their park now. Shoutmon gives his royal approval to opening it as a Digimon-only venture. [spoiler= 76]BEETLE TO THE WINDSHIELD. I think this is the closest a digimon's actually come to harming an adult.Ohai Hideaki. Still up to money-grubbing?Oh no, not Kaneda! Anything but... should I know this guy?Oh, Weeville Underwood. Continue. No points to Tagiru or Hideaki for talking about Hunts directly in front of Underworld. I know that digimon are basically the Not-Secret at this point, but you could at least try.Ren has a hundred digimon?! Though that's less foreboding than Ryouma's talk of 'aquring Digimon Data'.Kaneda smells Tagiru's fear. Taiki tries to smooth it over with his trademark logic and calm-headedness, but I don't think it's working... and Tagiru's ditched while they were talking, heh. Smart move.Kaneda's in DigiQuartz now... and he has Net Fu! MetalLifeKuwagamon reveals himself, and Kaneda finally has a realistic reaction to Digimon being unmasked! That makes this episode pretty unique thusfar!MLKuwagamon is awesome, kicks the team's ass and takes Kaneda as a hostage. Doesn't seem like he has any interest in emotion feeding.Taiki berates them when they return, and Ryouma seems to think MLKuwagamon poses a particularly acute threat. They plan out another prospective coalition, but Tagiru interrupts and runs off due to guilt- Hideaki follows. Yuu understands Taiki's new plan almost immediately, and Airu comments on how dutiful they all are; Taiki seems to be proud. Aww.MLKuwagamon and Kaneda have a chat- he has some interesting views on the Hunters, and it seems Digimon don't always view them in a positive light, for good reason. Taiki and Hideaki break in before he can stop expositing, and with a very cool gamut of techniques, take him down in seconds- only for Tagiru to discover he can't capture this one. MLKuwagamon can't be captured, because his data has already been offered to an evil being... as Ryouma steps into the frame. Uh oh. MLKuwagamon tries to give the name of the corrupted hunter, but is smote from above by a dark fire... pretty brutal honestly, especially with how the show's been thusfar.Suddenly, that red face on Digiquartz Rock from the opening has appeared. I think it's fairly obvious that this episode is mondo plot important it seems. The giant... thing fights and manages to grab Tagiru and Arresterdramon, drawing them into its body. None of the others can reach them in time, and... SAVE BY TAICHI YAGAMIMasaru's here as well! Taiki, of course, recognizes WarGreymon but is but is puzzled by ShineGreymon. They double-team the weird enemy until it fires a ray at Arresterdramon, when Masaru yells to remember their bond- and Arresterdramon damn well does, suddenly getting very possessive of his partner. Superior Mode Unlocked and DAMN BOY that is an awesome digivolving sequence, even if the actual form looks a little busy in its design (still fairly cool though).Mimi and Rika helped out Kiriha and Nene, and it appears they keep their digivices. Rika describes themselves as... helpers, of a sort no doubt. The Clockmaster things it might be time for "it" to begin. Ryouma lurks in the shadows. Remember when we thought Ren was the creepy one? [spoiler= 77]The Clockmaker appears to be investigating the sewage with a Xros Loader penlight. How mundane. Tagiru thinks he's suspicious, and brings it up at the dinner table to his parents- his dad's pretty normal looking and easygoing, but his mother seems to be where he got most of his enthusiasm. On the way out, his father flashed with... data? Hm....DigiQuartz is bleeding into the real world. Very not good. A Tsumemon looks up at him. They chase the thing, but it Cho-Shinkas into Keramon and has to be subdued by Ryouma before escaping. Ryouma drops some exposition on him- the Keramon's been transforming the world into DigiQuartz. Where the two dimensions were seperate, now they're one- and he doesn't know where the humans disappear off to. Tagiru has a horrible thought and just manges to get home in time to see his mother warped away.#Keramon: Wanna Play?Ryouma and Tagiru join forces, Ryouma giving Astamon a Tricera-arm and Tagiru putting Arresterdramon into Ogre Mode. The two manage to beat up the jellyfish, but it Cho Shinkas again into Crystallismon before escaping.Ryouma backstory. Apparently, he was able to witness the fight between Taiki and Tactimon- and when the world began to change to stone, he ran and fell into a portal between dimensions. There, he witnessed Taiki defeat Bagramon, which dominated his thoughts until now. The reason he picked up a Xros Loader was so he could one day exceed his hero. Finding common ground with Tagiru, the two shake hands in the manner of an alliance. And now, a battle conference including literally every Hunter in the area, and most of the people who've gone to DigiQuarz before. I guess they weren't as one-episode as I thought they would be, though Tagiru still only calls them "The others". Ren and Akari are here too! They all agree this is something very different from everything they've seen before. A traitor is suspected- most eyes turn to Ren, who glares back at the rest.Hideaki and Tagiru capture the Clockmaker. It's easier than it sounds. Using the Zenimon, they're attempting to torture him into revealing his secrets. The rest of the hunters track down Crystallismon, who makes up the tip of the nearby tower. All the DigiQuarz data filters through there, and it's where all the humans have been stored after being removed- the Old Man tells Tagiru just as much. Infermon appears, and just as he normally does, he curbstomps everything near him. Ren determines that he copies and replaces himself every time he moves, thus making him basically impossible to kill.Tagiru and Hideaki come to save the day! Tagiru suggests a Double Xros, and Ryouma agrees- ArresterdramonXAstamon is awesome, an excellent melding of the two, and has a fast enough offence that Infermon has no time to move and reform- the entire group rushes in for the killing shot, and... Infermon explodes and forms into that same weird face thing. The heck? Then a bunch of them rise from the ground and meld together into a giant cloud of data, forming the gargantuan shape of... Diaboromon.Diaboromon bathes the entire team in the flames of hell, blasting them all back, and tries to consume Arrastadramon. Tagiru runs forward to try and save his partner, just as Diaboromon charges up a powerful blast to erase him from existence. The music goes silent, then...Feather drop.SAVE BY BEELZEBUMON! And Kiriha and Nene! And yes, I think it's time for a Great Xros again! Ah X7, I've missed your overly convoluted limb system, I really have! True to his name, Shoutmon's Near God form takes out the giant Diaboromon like a chump, giving us a slightly better understanding of the power scale in this setting. X7 > Pretty much everything.Ah... it's rather definitively not dead. Well then. Not only is it not a Diaboromon, it's also the very last target the Digimon Hunt will ever have- Quartzmon. [spoiler= 78]So, when did this show get totally awesome again?Zenjirou and Akari got Xros Loaders! Thank you, show. ChessDorulumon is oddly awesome. Seeing all of Xros Heart fight at the same time is pretty badass as well.Wait, so MaloMyotismon evolves into VenomMyotismon now? The heck?MASARU PUNCH.And then Magnamon... and Takuya... and Takato and Guilmon. I'm highly amused at their transformation sequences being visible, especially Takato's "become naked and fall towards while glowing"- especially since the girls are obviously watching in that scene.I think Zen's going to pop a blood vessel. Then Ken and Mat! Omnimon and Imperialdramon! No seriously this is awesome what the hell. Grani too?Tentomon's here to helpfully point out the differences between the fusions. Omnimon is just a combination, Imperialdramon is a Jogress, Susanoomon is an Ancient Spirit Evolution. Good to know.Seeing these various superpowers in one place is absolutely hilarious.Ryouma vs. Tagiru: FIGHT.Ryouma wins a little anticlimactically! Tagiru's fine with it though.Oh btw, Ryouma's evil. Sorry about that.

Barian Warlord
Thinking about it i could see Marcus' beating all the villains in 02 for one simple reason, everyone in that season sucked I mean they couldn't even reach ultimate by themselves. Now I could see why they couldn't in 01 they were just missing some equipment but in 02 they had upgraded tech and had to use 2 digimon and 2/3 of the DNA digimon were absolute garbage. Phantom Roxas
Paildramon was able to evolve into Imperialdramon, but Silphymon could never evolve into Valkyrimon, not to mention that Gatomon could just evolve into Angewomon on her own, and Shakkoumon is just moronic. It would have been far better to have T.K. finally unlock Seraphimon in canon, and not dead last by the way, as well as having Gatomon warp into Ophanimon. Barian Warlord
That would break 02's idea that if you don't have goggles then you can't do anything, also when I said ultimate I was talking about the level after champion I don't know if you got that Mugen because you mentioned them when i didn't. Also with how small the digivice and crests were in 01 why didn't the people that made them have them be 1 device, I know I won't get an answer just throwing it out there. Side not I have no clue if my computer will keep working so can everyone please pray to whatever deity you believe in and if i stop posting it is because of tech problems.
