I don't quite understand what you're trying to say here...

What I got from the episode was that the intended hunt target was suppose to overpower the current hunters, and was in actuality a target for the "legendary hunters". Kiriha's plan worked instead, causing Tai and Masaru to not be needed.

Again, this is just what I gathered from the raw. Which could be completely off base.

I don't understand Japanese, but I watched that video, and I don't see how Tai or Masaru are related. It just shows outlines of them, but they don't actually appear, and I didn't think they were alive in this show. I figured they lived in a different time or something.

Remember the Clockmaker probably has power over time and space so he might have been able to get them from their original universes or found out about them from there and made their counterparts in this universe hunters, what I want to see is a triple mega level greymon fight, WarGreymon Vs ShineGreymon Vs ZeekGreymon, I'm also curious if any of the other hunters can get to mega like a super duper evolution and yes I know that name needs work.

We know for certain from other sources that Taichi's going to appear at some point. Given that Masaru's silhouette was also there, there's a rather good chance we'll see him too. Yes, both of them are from totally different continuities, but it's not like digimon hasn't had dimension hopping before (See: Ryo).

By the way, anyone else amused by that plot hole in the Tamers dub? You know, where they changed it so Adventures/02 was a television program in their universe (In the japanese version, Digimon had a video and card games, but no anime was explicitly mentioned). See, since Ryo's dimension was the Adventures/02 dimension (or at least something similar to it, parallel dimensions are weird), this implies the Tamers universe happened to make a fictional television show that just happens to be a good representation of things as they actually occurred in a nearby universe.

I can only imagine Ryo's expression when he saw his friend's face as the villain of a children's television program.

I'm not sure but the television show could have had a completely different plot or have the characters with different names and looks so it isn't to much of a hole but it could get bigger or smaller with more information, also I kinda feel like Ryo should be in Hunters instead of Takato, maybe Matt instead of Tai or Thomas instead of Marcus that way it wouldn't just be the main guy from each season it would be different people.

Kari's name is explicitly mentioned as a character in the show fairly early on. We're also aware Agumon was one of the main 'mons of the show, and a few other things that I can't remember off-hand because I haven't watched the dub in a while.

Ryo in Hunters would just be a kick in the teeth for the guy. He's already had to relive his life in a new universe away from his friends and family, how would he feel if he were ripped away from his new home too?

The only issue I'd see with the other two is that Yamato and Tohma are both retired; the former is a musician slash... astronaut I guess... while the later is an award-winning medical scientist. Both Taichi and Masaru still have fairly firm ties to the digital world, especially the later; hell, Masaru gave up his life in the real world so he could live in the digital one.

Of course, the implication is that they're being dimension shifted in their younger years, so I guess that wouldn't hurt it terribly. Part of it is just that I think Hunters has more coolheaded/tactical characters than any other seasons before it (Taiki, Kiriha, Nene, Yuu, Ryouma and Ren all count for various reasons), so adding hotheaded goggleheads into the mix changes it up a bit.
