Blackstone Dresden
I'd say that at face value, your two theories seem self contradictory.
Mugendramon
I guess I should have explained myself better. From the past digimon series, it's been said that it's only children who can normally access the digital world. DigiQuartz may be an exception, but no way to tell. Thing is, if the old man couldn't enter at first, what are the possibilities? First one, already mentioned, the old man may be something completely different to a human or digimon. That would conveniently answer any questions. Second one may be that he was to the digital world long before, as a kid. But had that been the case, he probably WOULD have done something about the Bagra Army or something. And then the third, which is the question I pose. If Ryoma were the Clock Maker's son. Being a kid, he would have had the means to enter the digital world. Could it then be possible that the original Xros Loader, the one the game master based his own and all others on, was in fact Ryoma's?
Hydra of Ages
Children only being able to enter the digital world isn't a hard rule across the board. Season 3 and especially 5 disregard it. The only problem with your theory is that it's difficult to tell if children being the only one to enter the Digital World was a coincidence or not- in season 6, it seems that travel between the dimensions is incredibly difficult and only Omnimon, Baguramon and DarkKnightmon had the ability- and the first and last of those only did it once or twice specifically because of the difficulty involved. Keep in mind only six humans have ever actually visited the digital world, and half of those (Zen, Akari, Nene) were unintentional taggers-on. Thundervlux
If Ryoma were the Clock Maker's son. Being a kid, he would have had the means to enter the digital world. Could it then be possible that the original Xros Loader, the one the game master based his own and all others on, was in fact Ryoma's? That's a very well thought out theory, but I think it'll be something more mysterious. If the secret of the Xros Loaders ever gets revealed, it'll likely be near the end of the series. Blackstone Dresden
I'd say it's equally likely to get revealed at either the halfway point or the finale, actually, depending on what the secret really is.
Mugendramon
I'd actually incline more to it being halfway through. As in, someone breaks the rules, the Clock Maker intervenes with is own mon and talks about how the Xros Loader works while he's at it.
Blackstone Dresden
I would like to see Clockmon get into a fight and evolve, just because I'm rather curious if they'll give him a new mon or use one of the older mons as his evolution. I'm wondering the same thing about Dobermon too.
Mugendramon
I'm thinking of the opening. Is it possible that Clockmon (or its evolved form, say whatever) is actually DigiQuartz itself? OwO

I'm wondering the same thing about Dobermon too. I thought about this too, and I was thinking, seen as the clockmaker is so old, is it possiblethat Clockmon is fully evolved and that he usedto Super Digivolve into Clockmon from Hagurumon? Also, if Dobermon ever does digivolve, I thinkhe'll become Cerebumon, because that's whathe's actually menat to evolve into.

This is the exact reason I think he will not become Ceberumon. I'm thinking Caturamon, possibly, although that one makes too much sense too. Blackstone Dresden
Clockmon seems like the he'd be Champion on the level of Opossumon, so he'd still be able to evolve I'm assuming. Dobermon -> Cerberumon would be incredibly lazy on the writers' part after they bypassed Gururumon and Sangloupmon/Matadormon in favor of Astamon and Yasyamon. I'm hoping that Dobermon will follow the same pattern, though I'm not sure what they could hack together for his Evolution. Assuming they keep his Evolution an Ultimate like the other 6, maybe Doumon or Raidramon? Caturamon is too easy again, Hydra.

But if I'm gonnabe honest, I don't think Dobermonwill actually digivolve. I'm prettysure they'd have made himevolve in that ONE episodehe was in, if he could. Mugendramon
Watch them troll everyone by breaking the pattern and making him evolve into Firamon.
Barian Warlord
Speaking of trolling I have created the ultimate evil digimon, Trollmon he is a rookie level virus type digimon that goes around being rude to other digimon and spoiling things for them. I thought about it after seeing the latest ep raw.
Hydra of Ages
Well, what would make sense if we consider the pattern of Cho Shinkas being based off of the Human rather than the digimon? What money-based Perfect(ish) levels are there that even slightly look like they could come from Dobermon? Or hard-workers, if that element can exist in a character design. The Warden
The riddle has already been answered, and no, the answer was DoKunemon, NOT 'Humans'; which has got to be the dumbest f***ing answer I could have possibly heard as an answer to a Digimon based riddle. Mugendramon
Thinking outside the box, I'll give you that. But you're (presumably) solving a partner puzzle. How the hell would something like that even cross your mind?

I kinda think it might be Reapermon given that Ryoma IS in it for the money. Its a respectable reason but what better for a money seeker then the bounty hunter digimon? Blackstone Dresden
Nexev: Hideaki's the guy with Dobermon, Ryouma's the one with Psychemon. You're getting your canines crossed Also, speaking of Ryouma, if he wasn't there first, I would've suggested Astamon as an evolution (Mobsters, protection money, all that) Maybe KendoGarurumon though? Hideaki's motivation seems to be just as tied with helping people as it is with making money, so why not an armor clad offshoot of the original bearer of Friendship?
