I guess I should have explained myself better.

From the past digimon series, it's been said that it's only children who can normally access the digital world. DigiQuartz may be an exception, but no way to tell.

Thing is, if the old man couldn't enter at first, what are the possibilities?

First one, already mentioned, the old man may be something completely different to a human or digimon. That would conveniently answer any questions.

Second one may be that he was to the digital world long before, as a kid. But had that been the case, he probably WOULD have done something about the Bagra Army or something.

And then the third, which is the question I pose.

If Ryoma were the Clock Maker's son. Being a kid, he would have had the means to enter the digital world. Could it then be possible that the original Xros Loader, the one the game master based his own and all others on, was in fact Ryoma's?

Children only being able to enter the digital world isn't a hard rule across the board. Season 3 and especially 5 disregard it. The only problem with your theory is that it's difficult to tell if children being the only one to enter the Digital World was a coincidence or not- in season 6, it seems that travel between the dimensions is incredibly difficult and only Omnimon, Baguramon and DarkKnightmon had the ability- and the first and last of those only did it once or twice specifically because of the difficulty involved. Keep in mind only six humans have ever actually visited the digital world, and half of those (Zen, Akari, Nene) were unintentional taggers-on.

That's a very well thought out theory, but I think it'll be something more mysterious. If the secret of the Xros Loaders ever gets revealed, it'll likely be near the end of the series.

I would like to see Clockmon get into a fight and evolve, just because I'm rather curious if they'll give him a new mon or use one of the older mons as his evolution. I'm wondering the same thing about Dobermon too.

I thought about this too, and I was thinking,

seen as the clockmaker is so old, is it possible

that Clockmon is fully evolved and that he used

to Super Digivolve into Clockmon from Hagurumon?

Also, if Dobermon ever does digivolve, I think

he'll become Cerebumon, because that's what

he's actually menat to evolve into.

Clockmon seems like the he'd be Champion on the level of Opossumon, so he'd still be able to evolve I'm assuming.

Dobermon -> Cerberumon would be incredibly lazy on the writers' part after they bypassed Gururumon and Sangloupmon/Matadormon in favor of Astamon and Yasyamon. I'm hoping that Dobermon will follow the same pattern, though I'm not sure what they could hack together for his Evolution. Assuming they keep his Evolution an Ultimate like the other 6, maybe Doumon or Raidramon?

Caturamon is too easy again, Hydra.

Good points there. But if I'm gonna

be honest, I don't think Dobermon

will actually digivolve. I'm pretty

sure they'd have made him

evolve in that ONE episode

he was in, if he could.

I kinda think it might be Reapermon given that Ryoma IS in it for the money.

Its a respectable reason but what better for a money seeker then the bounty hunter digimon?

Nexev: Hideaki's the guy with Dobermon, Ryouma's the one with Psychemon. You're getting your canines crossed

Also, speaking of Ryouma, if he wasn't there first, I would've suggested Astamon as an evolution (Mobsters, protection money, all that)

Maybe KendoGarurumon though? Hideaki's motivation seems to be just as tied with helping people as it is with making money, so why not an armor clad offshoot of the original bearer of Friendship?
