The Warden
Keramon wouldn't need 'Des' in his name, when I say bug, I literally mean bug. He's just a virus. Also, Alfius solved the ping, considering though that ROxas did answer the riddle, he wasn't certain if it was right. So Alfius got 'DigiQuartz' and got it right, yay, ya-ay, and such *tossess handful of confetti*

Phantom Roxas
Apparently not. So, here's a great fandub of the the first four openings and the second Savers opening. I didn't make it, and in spite of the fact that I uploaded the video, I seem to be the only person that can't post on it, as I am "blocked by the owner of the video"... which is me. Hydra of Ages
So, about that latest episode of Hunters... almost definitely my favorite episode yet, even if it does that stupid "Twist the plot in knots to keep Taiki from his Xros Loader and ending the episode in five seconds" thing it always does. Spoilers in my post from here on out, fair warning. We finally get an explanation for the lack of Zen and Akari- they moved. Only a city away, though (or two cities, if Zen's to believed), but Taiki figured it was better to keep them out of the loop anyway. Akari seems fine sitting this one out too, but Zen seems pretty damned determined to get a Loader of his own- maybe we'll finally see the Cheerleading Squad get their own digimon this season? C'mon, you know you want Zen to get Kotemon.Nene's out of the loop too, and no mention of Kiriha- though admittedly, it's possible nobody knows where Kiriha lives in the first place.Structures in DigiQuartz are naturally fragile and squishy. This is actually quite a reasonable explanation for the structural damage they rack up every episode.SuperStarmon wants Taiki. Just getting that out of the way.Taiki and Akari are officially "Not a couple". As much as any anime pair accused of that ever are "Not a couple".Taiki wears his shirt beneath absolutely everything, just in case the stock footage could ever somehow be compromised.Despite his intelligence, Taiki neglected to figure he could get around that "Only one digimon per Xros" thing by exploiting the stupidly easy method of swapping ownership of Digimon with other people.X4 appears to be considered more powerful than OmegaShoutmon, bizarrely enough. This might be related to his status as a DoubleXros now, though. To be fair, it's possible that swords are just more effective against barriers than general attacks.Ryouma has a connection to the Clock Maker of some sort. At the very least, the Clock Maker is suspicious of him for some reason- it's now a toss up between him and Ren of which one will end up being the main villain in some way. Ryouma's more likely to be redeemed relatively quickly, however. Considering the Clock Maker seems clueless about it, I think the chances of him actually being the villain have decreased significantly (though I never really thought there was a chance to begin with. The guy hosts the omake sections at the end of every episode for Yggdrasil's sake).
Blackstone Dresden
Kotemon? Honestly, I'm really hoping they look at the freaking manga and go "OK we HAVE to animate AtlurBallistamon! Quick, give him to the broom head!"I'm thinking that's the most likely answer. Or they finally realized "This guy murders his Digimon when he's angry... Maybe we should avoid him like the goddamn plague"Makes sense, they're literally shadows of their real world selves.Did Starmon say anything about him? The little Starmons he spawned looked like Starmon sans glasses, so maybe post-redesign Starmon still becomes SuperStarmon. But what about Zen and Akari?Yeah, at least last season had the excuse of "All he had was what he had on him" this season it's "He just has that one goddamn shirt, deal with it"Could also be that he doesn't like hogging the spotlight. In all honesty though, I'd like to see him ignore the fact that he can ignore the limitations and use Shoutmon's X series. That being said, I'd love to see a Xros of Arresterdramon, OmegaShoutmon, and Tuwarmon.Could also be that the gap between Shoutmon and OmegaShoutmon is becoming less and less. Shoutmon's a hell of a lot more powerful now than in Death Generals anyway, but honestly I've yet to see Omega do something he couldn't last season.Ryouma's Digimon is a palette swap of a character from Adventure and is an utter badass; Ren's Digimon is a psychic vampire. If we get a human antagonist, it's either Ren or that crazy b*tch. Also, consider it's been a week since I've rejoined, I can solve one of the riddles for a partner, right? Blackstone Dresden
More like I called her a crazy b*tch, she asked if that's who I was referring to. Hydra of Ages
Lol is the crazy b**** this girl? The one that only wants cute Digimon lol i can sympathize with her. I can't. I think they did an excellent job making all of the rivals come off as complete jerkoffs without coming out and making them blatantly evil; Ren is manipulative and pretty damn ruthless, but what sells it is that he can do absolutely horrible things while smiling the entire time. He's a great example of Faux Affably Evil- he seems relatively chill until you realize he was just palling around with you so his vampire could eat your soul for a minor powerup. Then if you confront him, he'd shrug and apologize insincerely, probably with a chuckle- he's probably the closest thing they have to an 'evil' character in the show so far, without any real villains to speak of. He juuuust edges into "jerkoff" territory because his ambitions aren't strictly evil quite yet- he's just greedy. That said, if he ever decided to set his eyes higher, we all know exactly fast he'd jump into villainous territory. Airu, funnily enough, comes off even worse than Ren because she tries the same routine... but does it badly. I think I really nailed it when I said Cho-Hakkaimon represented her 'beauty only skin-deep thing', because while Ren is nearly evil, Airu is just a horrible human being. She's incredibly greedy, self-righteous, and cruel- even her own teammates dislike associating with her, though they recognize her skills. She puts on only a token effort to conceal her demeanor, which shatters rather quickly the moment she doesn't get her way... but when everything is said and done, you can't actually call her evil, just incredibly immature. It says something when she's apparently obsessed with Yuu by the end of that episode- he's the first one to stop her from getting what she wants, so she's venting her frustration into anger at him because she's too immature to just deal with it.Note, also, that she completely ignored her (obviously jealous) partner instead of ever reassuring her or anything. It's obvious that her main issue is that she's incapable of considering anyone's feelings but her own. Ryouma's the most "Anti-heroish" one. He's a jerk, but not overwhelmingly so- his jerk-ness is mainly rooted in the fact he, more often than not, just sits back rather than helping in any way. He's not adverse to helping others, but only when it also benefits him- though how it benefits him is still in question. I dunno, I just like how they make Ryouma in such a way that the audience isn't particularly shocked if it turns out he's the enemy or the ally for that episode either way- he's a mysterious character done right. Blackstone, if I recall correctly, Starmon said something along the lines of this: "SuperStarmon! But that's the digimon only the most charismatic and powerful of the Starmon leaders can become!", which was followed by the Pickmons chanting something like "Master! Master!", which I think is a parallel to how they all call the regular Starmon "Brother". SuperStarmon constitutes something higher than "Brother" to them. Zen and Akari is definitely a possible pairing, but the mere fact that another character accused Taiki and Akari of being a couple legitimizes it in anime-land. The two's reactions seem to imply that Taiki's been suspecting something like that for a while now, whereas Akari legitimately never considered that her relationship with Taiki might be romantic. I briefly considered Nene/Taiki a possible pairing for a while, so it might be interesting to see their interaction in the next episode. To be fair, it made for a dramatic scene. I don't recall, but did his goggles magically reappear when he tossed the coat? It's pretty obvious at this point that Taiki wants Tagiru to figure out how to solve his own problems rather than rely on him for everything (hence his inaction/supporting role in various episodes), but Taiki still seems to jump in whenever it seems to be getting legitimately dangerous. He seems to have a sense of whether a situation is dangerous enough that it requires his personal attention or not- SuperStarmon was making human sculptures and had enough presence of mind to set up a trap, so it was the kind of thing he felt obliged to attend to with his full strength. Akari being there also probably gave him nostalgia. You make a good point about Shoutmon closing the gap between himself and OmegaShoutmon, and I thought about that myself a little earlier. It's probably the best possible explanation- we might be able to assume that Ballistamon, Dorulumon and Starmon have all gotten more powerful during the time skip as well (considering the time difference, Shoutmon's spent a fair amount of time as king before the events here...), so X4 is likely far stronger than what we're used to. I would think that Ren would be the primary antagonist, but the thing is that he gets kinda shafted for screentime. Ryouma takes up more time than any of the other characters, and he's the most mysterious of the lot- that's Writer-Speak for saying "This character is going to be important!". Blackstone Dresden
The most likely ships: Taiki/AkariZenjirou/NeneSome poor bastard/AiruYuu/Everyone else. Tagiru's too much of a moron to get shipped at this point, Hideaki's too focused on making some money, Kiriha hasn't shown up yet (Keep it that way), and Ryouma and Ren we don't know f*ck all about. Also, as for Ren getting shafted for screen time: What's he doing when he's not on camera? Building up his giant ass collection, probably. Also, did Starmon ever explain why he and the Pickmons are one Digimon?
Hydra of Ages
I second Yuu/Everyone else. Guy seems to be building up a veritable harem even this early in the season; Unfortunately, I'd have to include Airu among them. That much pent up obsession never leads to anything else in Anime-Land. Zen/Nene I thought was pretty farfetched early season, but I can kinda see it after Zen's last focus episode. I still think it's more likely Kiriha'll end up with her, though (Okay, let's be realistic, chances are no ship's going to be confirmed period like always but whatever. Theory and stuff). Just something about how 'Swarm' digimon like him and the pickmons are considered only one unit. Considering a bunch of Starmons turned into a giant-ass bear, I guess groups of weaker digimon have enough tenuous connections between them that they're considered the same thing for the purposes of Xrosing. On a different note, I showed a friend the first episode of Hunters the other day. He was absolutely convinced Yuu was female until I showed him the wikia article. I think it stemmed from the fact, in the opening, the line "Now stand up girls" coincides with the image of Yuu passing by. Also Yuu, admittedly, would make a rather pretty girl. Blackstone Dresden
Yeah, I had to tell my girlfriend that too... Repeatedly... The man needs a different haircut, IMO. Also, since Yuu got SuperStarmon (Suck it, Tagiru) does anyone else wanna see him make that giant bear thing? I do like that they're still giving the mains army mons, Pickmons for Taiki still, probably Pagumon for Tagiru, Starmons for Yuu, and Zenimon for Hideaki, assuming he really is a good guy underneath all the capitalism... Ya know, I hate to say it, but I was agreeing with Tagiru that whole episode, it's not wrong for Hunters to get paid for cleaning up someone else's mess. Hydra of Ages
Isn't Yuu a girl in the manga as well? I seem to remember that for some reason... Part of it is that 3-man-bands are traditionally one girl, two guys. Three guys making up a whole team is surprisingly rare in anime. I think the point was that Yuu saw it as Tagiru not taking things seriously (IE, Hunting digimon for the money rather than because it's important), and Yuu has a serious Berserk Button for people not taking things, especially digimon, seriously enough. Taiki's the sort of person into selfless charity, so I think he just took issue with pretending to help out while fully expecting to get rewarded. The episode never said that getting paid for Hunting was actually wrong until it turned out that they were inadvertently scamming people, which Hideaki had a problem with. I think the message was supposed to be that working for cash is fine, but not when it's exploitation.
