Phantom Roxas
I picked up the series a while ago, and even though I haven't read it for quite some time, I enjoyed it. I saw a few clips of the anime dub, and I prefer to stay away from that. I got into the series because I had heard of "Makka na Chikai" through the Nico Nico Douga medley, thought it was great, and looked into it. I had seen the name on One Manga in the past, but didn't think to picking it up at the time, but I'm glad I got around to it.
Tourmaline
I didn't expect a topic of BR to be found here, but it's s positive find. If you've actually read a few chapters, or some episodes, you'll also be able to tell both my avatar and signature, since they're the same thing. I read it instead of watched it, though. I'm going to go through it again, but watching the anime instead of the manga. It can't just be an English dub.
Phantom Roxas
Actually, your sig and avatar are why I started this topic in the first place, since I figured there should be a topic about this series.
Tourmaline
That's a surprising response, actually. I hadn't ever thought you payed any attention to me or my posts, either. If you had an interest in what I say, just give me a quick word, or something. Anyways, I really do like it. Plus, the butterfly motive is a complete plus. Yang Xiao-Long
Buso Renkin is one of my favorite manga series actually, second only to Rurouni Kenshin. Even though the ending was a bit abrupt, I still like the series as a whole, because it sort of emphasizes the life of a boy who started in a humble beginning and through many life-changing (and threatening) situations, he ends up changing the world. It gets top marks from me.

I think (and this is only a personal opinion) that BLEACH copied from Busou Renkinin the arch-villain-with-butterfly-wings type. LOL
