J-Max
http://arstechnica.com/gaming/news/2011/01/nintendo-3ds-hits-shelves-march-27-for-249.ars Seems a little pricey for a handheld to be honest. I know the 3DS is New Tech and with it comes a higher price but $250 just sounds like an amount that Nintendo EXPECTS people to pay. I'm a European so will be keeping a eye on the Price Point but with current Currency Conversions the 3DS is currently around £180-190.
JadenxAtemYAOI
Just gotta love living with a rich family. I'll write a review the day its released
burnpsy
Getting a discount of everything game-related is quite useful for things like this. I'll pick it up on day 1. I honestly called that price a mile off.
Flame Dragon
Price is a little high, but not unexpected. Also, I remember sharing the rumor a while ago, but it looks like it's official, 1 FC per system.
Phantom Roxas
I'm getting this on day one. The price is acceptable in my opinion.
TAG
$250? Good enough for me. Now GIMME DAT STREET FIGHTER. Also, the universal Friend Code is really nice.

Kiyo
S'okay, I guess. I deposited $25, but even then I still have a crap load of money left in me. If a game's bundled with it, even better Though I would've liked if it was released say, a week earlier. ONE FC/SYSTEM?! YES!!
Jacoby746
I could buy it with my own money, but that is a lot. And I always feel guilty when my mom buys me something really expensive when it's not Christmas or my birthday.

That's what I did. So what 3DS games are you looking forward to? I know I want the Kingdom Hearts, and Mario games. Also OoT since I've never played it and I don't mind throwing money at nintendo. Larxene
Eh, was hoping it'd be 200$, but I was expecting 250 anyway. So I can't complain. Still a pain in the ass to afford though, but oh well.

Engetsu
I want it, but I'm not sure I'll be able to get it on the first day >_> my budget is tight enough as it is. Can't wait to get it though, along with Paper Mario 3DS and Megaman Legends

Dark
Once they revealed that, in Yen, the DS was around $300, I knew for a fact that the US price was going to be around $250. I feel that as a respectable price, just because I'd consider it as useful and as "interesting" as the Wii when it first came out. Kick-ass game library, awesome graphical capabilities, and now it has a shitton of new perks. The price is fairly right, even though it sounds expensive for a handheld. Games are probably going to be in the 40-50 USD range instead of the 30-40 USD range like normal DS games were, so that does hurt a bit. Not really much unless you plan on getting 10 games, which would thus cost you roughly 100 dollars more. I'm a bit pissed that Europe gets the 3DS and Pokemon Black/White two days before America. I think Europe was jealous so they bribed Japan for a two-day earlier release date. =P

You should throw more money at Nintendo the get them to push the release date up by 3 days. O, looks like we are getting a Pikmin 3DS game. Dark
Hey, Ninty baby. Looking fine in that Japanese suit. Oh, it was made in China and from an American company... who cares?! Anyways, how about I pay you three million to let America get Pokemon Black/White and the 3DS before Europe. ...I meant three million Yen, dude. That's roughly 35000 USD, assuming 86 Yen per dollar. I have no idea what the current rate is, since the Yen has been increasing for quite some time now.
Tourmaline
First game I'm getting on it is Tales of the Abyss, ignoring the fact I haven't seen the launch titles.
Phantom Roxas
Kingdom Hearts 3D, Ocarina of Time, Kid Icarus: Uprising, and Star Fox are the games I'm after. I'm really hoping the Virtual Console has Oracles of Seasons and Ages, though I doubt they would ignore those games since they're one of the most popular Game Boy Color games. Tentacruel
A little pricey, but as to be expected. I think I read somewhere that it would be $300, so 250 isn't too bad, but more than I'm willing to dish out. I'll wait for a price drop, or a new version. (3DS Lite anyone?)
The Japanese 3DS is worth 300 American Dollars. But that's with a direct price conversion, which is something Nintendo never does. So it was very likely that it would be around $250.Oh, also, the 3DS will have its own little Virtual Console with Gameboy and Gameboy Color games. burnpsy
I just realized that the prices for Nintendo systems get a $30+ increase when moved to Canada (even though the currency up here is worth slightly more that the US). Meaning the price for me is actually about $280. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
Kiyo
Apparently, the system comes with a 2GB SD Card and possibly Zelda or a few other games, so $250 actually seems pretty reasonable. Tentacruel
The only thing that disappoints me is the battery life. 3-5 hours with 3DS games, or 5-8 with DS games.
