The first Mortal Kombat movie was awesome and this is coming from someone who loves the games. I never watched the second because I couldn't find it.
Prince of Persia was good, but I only played the first game, so can't say much.
Resident Evil are an awesome series of movies, but I didn't play the games until I watched the movies. Still need to see the latest one.

I don't think I watched any other movies based on video games. I would love to see someone make an Uncharted movie (which I heard they were doing). Ya know, I might make my own screenplay for it.

We need a Pokemon movie.

WITH MORGAN FREEMAN IN IT!

I saw a fake trailer for Pokemon on YouTube a couple months ago. Didn't have Morgan Freeman in it, but, in my opinion, it looked badass. I'll see if I can find it.

Also, the trailer that came out sometime in 2010 about Mortal Kombat looked badass to. It was called Rebirth or something like that.

[s]He could voice Mewoth. :D

And Jigglypuff could be voiced by Gilbert Gottfried.[/s]

I changed my mind. Every pokemon is now voiced by Gilbert Gottfried.

Of course a Zelda Movie would be awesome, but then again: looking at a guy passing through 8 dungeons or more and then fighting a dude at the very end... I think a series of a few episodes would be better.

This isn't a movie, but Ther will be brawl is something similar, only for SSBB and it's GOOD

That's why I said: a mini series of 20 or so episodes. I could see that work

Also Turok2: Seeds of Evil. I remember a Dutch Nintendo magazine who had a top 5 of games they should make movies of, and Turok 2 was on the second place (first place obviously TLOZ: OoT)

Thank goodness they never made the movie for Halo
why not? The halo universe is perfect for a movie.

Movie or webseries. It would still be awkward. It can work, and work very well but it would have to do like most anime or book adaption of movies. You do the important part of dungeons.

The only actual dungeon that needs to be fully ran through is the first one, <filler action one that shows the protagonist mainly struggling through to show how determined he is.> and the last or last two. The rest can be summarized with him doing a small segment of the dungeon (usually anything plot related) and the end of the dungeon.
--------
The problem with making a zelda movie is (and which most people would hate) 99% chance they'll make the adults older and it is understandable. a 10 year old does not seem one to have the motivation to go through all this and children tends to be more annoying to film because of getting them to do all the scenes. (Especially the action scenes)

so it would be a 14-15 year old link and time-skip link would be 21-22 (depending on which year you choose.)

YES.

I've seen Scott Pilgram vs. The World, but considering that started as a book I can't really say much about it.

But it was a good movie.
