"Trap activate," said Dark Magician Girl once again. "Enchanted Javelin. It doesn't negate you attack, but I gain life points equal to Dark Magician's attack. But after the attack with Maiden is over and damage calculation has been calculated, I basically only gain 400, leaving me with 1900 life points." Meanwhile, Maiden was knocked off her feet by the attack, and Dark Magician walked over to comfort her. A maiden counter appeared on his chest, and he slightly blushed. "You want to do anything else? Or do you end your turn?"

Zero looked up at the duel and saw the two female duelists, "I wonder which of these two is the Dark Magician Girl." he thought to himself. "But there's something about that one there," Zero looked up at the duelist on the right, "She sure is enchanting... maybe her" Zero didn't know he had said this out loud. He began wondering, "Hmm both use intriguing styles of battle. But, are both users of spellcasters, I don't know what to think at this point. I just know that she's here." Zero had to make her look at him, he stood up and walked closer to the duel, "Yeah! you get her! I know you're gonna win this!" He began cheering while jumping up and down.

Dark Magician Girl turned to the cheering guy in the sidelines, a little alarmed and confused. "Um, thanks," said Dark Magician Girl cutely, giving a slightly confused smile and waving slightly, in his direction. That was kind of weird, she thought, but maybe it is just my ability having some effect on him or something. But in any case, it was nice to have some support. And I might win soon as well, so he would be satisfied. I wonder who he is though, she thought, turning her attention back to the duel.

"I draw." Sugata said lightly, taking the top card of his deck and placing it in his hand. Examining his current hand, Sugata quickly evaluated the field. "On Hikari's end phase, Nightmare Steelcage will be destroyed and the both of us will be free to attack." Sugata thought. He then took a monster card from his hand and set it down on the field. "I set a monster face-down." With that, Sugata was ready to end his turn. "With this set-up, if all goes right, i'll win on my next turn. What will you do? Will you fight Hikari? " "Turn End."

Mason looked over at the boy shoating a few yards from him in slight irritation. Surely this man had no reason to yell at someone in the midst of a Duel. Guardian of Order thought to himself. That would only serve to distract the person Dueling, and thus tipping the balance of order and chaos in favor of chaos. The very idea made Mason want to speak out. He turned and slowly walked over to the boy who was shouting.
"Excuse, me, I hate to be a bother, but the fact is that your cheers are not serving any benifit to any of the Duelist here. All your efforts have the potential to distract these students from thier Duels by causing dis-order."
Mason released a small anount of his Order-Inducing aura to calm his own mind down along with, hopefully, the boy he was talking to.

"Great more people are showing up how am I supposed to figure out why she was trying not to attract attention. Also why she seems so familiar and why that card looks like that Hikari girl," he thought to himself while still remaining hidden, "Why can't I figure any of this out." He continued to think through of some way to figure the truth. "I know that I can't know her from past years here cause nobody else does. Those two named Duke and Hikari are friends or at least know her have also come out of nowhere. An exchange program wouldn't explain why she seems familiar. He mentioned something about abilities. I feel so confused." As Ryuuga began to become more frustrated with this situation his deck gave of a brilliant glow. He looked through his and found a card familiar to him. "Could that really be it."

Duke wasn't going to win, he knew that for a start, his only hope was with one card in his hand. "I set a card...And end! I guess that means it's your turn Emma..." Buster Blader wasn't in a good mood, he never liked being on the loosing side...

Hikari drew her next card, "I'll set the card I drew! Now it's time to go on the offensive!" Breaker leapt into the air, sword by his side. "Because he was Normal Summoned, he gained a spell counter, increasing his attack to 1900!" Breaker dived at the monster Sugata set earlier, "Breaker! Destroy the set card!" Breaker suddenly stopped attacking, "...Oh, wait, I forgot about Nightmare Steelcage, I end..."

Dark Magician Girl drew a card to begin her turn. I have to get past that spell/trap he set, she thought. But first... "Congratulations, Defender. You're getting married to your true love," Dark Magician Girl placed the spell card Happy Marriage on the field, equipping it to Maiden in Love. Maiden's dress suddenly changed into a wedding dress. "Maiden gains attack points equal to Defender's attack. Defender's ready, the only thing stopping the Marriage is that face down of yours. Are you going to activate it?"

Dark paladin chuckled quietly as he made a gesture with his hand towards the remaining face down card and it flipped upwards so that it's face was towards his opponent. The card was revealed to be a trap, and upon it was the image of an elderly monk bent over slightly with his feet spread wide and his hands in towards his stomach with energy like flames flaring off of him.

"Unfortunately, that means you've activated my trap card, Rising Energy!" He proclaimed as he now pointed the same hand towards Marauding Captain who now threw his arms out wide and was engulfed by the same energy as the monk upon the card, before he spun about and readied his blades to counter the on-coming attack from the Justice Soldier. "This card increases the attack of any monster I choose by 1500 until the end phase of this turn, and I choose Marauding Captain! Unless you can negate that, his attack's shooting up to 2700!"

"So be it," Dalst responded with two cards in his hand staring back. "A replay occurs so I don't have to attack! This means I don't lose any life points, and since there's not much else to do.." He paused, unsure if his card could save him. He then thought about his utopia. It had to stay on the field. "So I set a card and it's your move," he finished. His card couldn't fail, or at least, Dalst was sure it couldn't.

"Eh!?" Sugata blurted out a bit surprised. "Did she really forget about my Nightmare Steelcage?" Sugata shook his head for a moment. "At this time, on your end phase, My nightmare steel-cage is destroyed." Sugata took the Nightmare Steelcage spell card from his spell and trap card zone and placed it in his graveyard. He then turned his hand to his deck and drew the top card. "I draw!" Sugata added that card to his hand and checked his field. "You ready? I'm Flip-Summoning one of my face-down monsters, Inverz Caller!" The holographic image of the card on the field flipped-over and released a hideous bug-like monster above it. Sugata looked to Hikari, to see if she had any response.

Silent Swordsman stood next to an iron gate leading to the boarding school. "Missed most of the day, but at least I get to watch some humans." He whispered to himself before walking into the school ground. He walked towards the courtyard where a couple duels were going on. Interesting people at the least, he thought to himself stopping next to a tree, and leaning on it. He pulled a small pendent out from his shirt, and started to toy with it. The black crystal gleamed as the light hit it, reflecting the duelists before him. He looked back up, and looked closer at the two girls. They seemed familiar, yet different somehow.

Dark Paladin smiled slightly as he reached to draw, a wide smile coming to his face even as he sent Rising Energy to the graveyard. He calmly placed another card in his spell/trap zone, this one activating as it was set, an odd blue glow emanating from it and covering Dark Blade.

"Alright then, first I activate my equip-spell, Synchro Boost," As he said this, the level counter for Dark Blade went up one, changing it to level five, "And what it does is increase the ATK of any monster I choose by five hundred, and increasing it's level by one. Guess what, I'm using it on Dark Blade, but don't worry about his attack right now." He now brought the monster card he had drawn from his hand and set it in face-up attack position, revealing a peculiar orange clad mechanical being. "And now I summon Junk Synchron in face-up attack position, but you don't need to worry about them because now I synchro summon, for eight stars, Colossal Fighter!(ATK 2800/ DEF 1000)" As he removed both Dark Blade and junk Synchron from the field, their holograms being consumed by a three concentric green rings. As they vanished, he placed a new card on the field, this one taken from his extra-deck, and summoned in face-up attack position. A massive white-clad warrior was revealed as three more concentric green rings appeared and vanished from the field. "And now, his effect activates. For every warrior-type monster in any graveyard he gains one hundred attack points, and guess what? There's a total of five in our graveyards, resulting in his ATK increasing to 3300!" The hologram of colossal fighter now flexed his muscles and aimed a fist at Justice Soldier Hackli. "And now I'll have him attack your justice soldier Hackli, can you stop him?"

"Oh really? Nah, I don't think so," Dalst replied as his opponent didn't notice the trap Dalst had activated. He began to chuckle, before telling his opponent, "when your Colossal Fighter's effect activated I played my face down, Judgement of Justice! By discarding one of my Justice Soldiers, like Setail, I can negate the activation of a spell, trap, or monster effect and destroy it!" He looked straight into the eyes of his opponent's, whose field held a single monster.

Synchro equip, eh? He thought, this'll be one hell of a duel! And at the same time, that duel with Jacob wore me out. If I win this duel, well, that's unlikely. But I still have some synchs of my own, even my commander. He might hit him hard.

Hikari nodded, "Even though I can't destroy it, I'll activate this..." the hologram of DNA Surgery appeared on the field, "...I'm sure that you know what this card is, and it lets me change all of our monster's types to Spellcaster!" Hikari then fell silent and waited for Sugata to continue...

Duke grunted, "Nope, I can't stop this marriage...I always cry at weddings..." the Buster Blader rubbed his eyes before shouting over to Emma, "It's your move Emma! Come on and attack me! It's getting boring just watching you..."

'These duels are coming along nicely, but only time will tell' Silent Swordsman thought to himself watching the 3 duels. He released the black crystal that hung around his neck and let it fall back into his shirt. Sliding onto a nearby table he took out his cards. 'Skilled magicians both dark, and white. Breaker, Valkyria, Silent Magicians, and of course Silent Swordsman' He thought as he set the cards down one by one. Looking over his cards he felt a tug towards the Magician's Valkyria card laying in front of him. 'Of course' he thought, 'that's why they felt familiar.' He gathered his cards and placed them back into his deck case, and looked back towards the duels. This was a chance for him to watch the humans duel, and see if the cards they used were in good hands.

Accordingly, Maiden's attack increased to 2000. She smiled as wedding bells rang. The image soon disappeared. "This is it then," said Dark Magician Girl, smiling but still annoyed by her opponent's face down. "I'll have Maiden attack," Maiden began skipping towards Dark Magician, who had a Maiden Counter. "If this attack hits, I will lose five hundred life points and gain control of Dark Magician. You will be wide open for two more attacks, from Defender and Magician." If he activates the face down in order to counter me, this could be over. But that does not mean I haven't a counter of my own...

"Now i flip-summon my Inverz Gatekeeper." As he said so, the holographic image of a card on his field flipped over, revealing an odd 4-legged bug-like monster. "During the turn i advanced summon an Inverz monster, i gain one addtional summon. I release my Inverz Caller, in order to advanced summon my Inverz Moth! Inverz Moth's effect activates when it's advanced summoned!" The Insect-like monster was absorbed into a rainbow sphere of light as that sphere then opend to release a larger-insect like monster with large moth wings. "Now, at the cost of one-thousand of my lifepoints, i can return two of your cards to your hand. I chose your Breaker and your face-down card! However, at this time, since my Inverz Caller was used as a release for an advanced summon. I can special summon 1 level 4 or lower Inverz monster from my deck."

Duke's eyes narrowed, this was his only chance! "I activate Magic Cylinder!" two cylinders appeared, the Maiden walked into one, and then reappeared out of the other. "Hopefully, you won't be able to stop that..."

Hikari put her cards back into her hand and realised that victory was most likely going to be Sugata's, despite this, she decided that she'll keep on dueling. "I can't do anything, you can attack if you want..."

"Sorry, but I was expecting something along those lines. Trap activate," Dark Magician Girl said as a card in front of Dark Magician Girl flipped up. "Solemn Judgment." Her life points dropped to 950. "Your Magic Cylinder's effect is negated, meaning... Maiden's attack is never negated, either. And with no more face downs, this duel is pretty much over." Maiden continued to skip towards Dark Magician, but fell right before him. He began to comfort her. Dark Magician Girl's life points fell to 450. Dark Magician and Maiden walked over to her side of the field. "Maiden will have both of your monsters attack you now. And since you don't have any monsters on the field, you can lose life points now." Dark Magician and Defender charged forward at Maiden's command.

Zero Walked ontop of a small statue, that actually gave him a greater height," Anybody that's not dueling at the moment, I will give you 3000$, if you can defeat me in a duel!" he announced to everyone that was listening to him. "What's the problem with all the people out here these days, they won't ever listen to you, even when you bribe them with money." The truth was, Zero didn't have 3000$ with him at the moment and he wasn't going to give them any money later on either. "I'll just wait then" he thought. He sat down on the floor shuffling his deck like he was always doing. "You guys can't beat me anyways! Hahahahaha!" He laughed maniacally.

"My friend, you have unfortunately overlooked a single problem in your card's effect," Dark Paladin stated as he calmly let out a chuckle, turning his gaze up to the aforementioned Colossal Fighter who remained unaffected by the trap, "Things like that don't work on continuous effects from monsters, such as my Colossal Fighter. So, If you don't have something else that can actually stop his attack, you'll be taking quite a lot of damage very very soon." He smirked as the massive warrior simply rushed forward, driving it's massive fist in a hard line-drive towards the aforementioned Justice Soldier Hackli.

OOC: I am fairly certain that monsters with continuous effects, such as Buster Blader for example, are not effected by things such as that.

All Jacob needed to hear was the three thousand dollar cash prize. He grinned widely, taking out his duel disk. "I'll challenge you," said Jacob to the loud boy sitting on the statue who was shuffling his deck. This guy seems like an idiot, risking three thousand on a friendly duel like this. I should be able to take him. And I am hungry for a win ever since I lost to Dalst. My pride's hurt after that lost. Time to redeem myself. "Right here, right now," he continued to say confidently. His grin turned into a smirk. "I will beat you."

"Damn," Dalst said, knowing he had wasted his card. "Well I can't stop ya. Don't let your gaurd down though." A smile formed his face whil Dalst's life point dropped to 2600. "Well, do you end? My next card should even the playing field! Let's see if it does something, so, hurry up! Dalst needed a good card. And this duel was no exception. Okay, he thought, if you're all great, try beating my commander. He'll do some thing that'll hurt you more then me.

Sugata took a card from his deck, he let his glasses fall over a bit, causing the light to hide his eyes. "From my deck i special summon another Inverz Caller." Sugata placed the Inverz Caller monster card in his monster card zone, as then the hologram of the insectoid like creature from before had re-appeared. "Go!" Sugata yelled to his Inverz Moth and pointed his finger at Hikari. "Attack her directly, Inverz Moth!" The strange moth like monster jumped into the air and darted towards Hikari. It was prepared to strike her with it's tail, which would inflict twenty-four hundred points of damage to her.
