Justice Master
"I cannot negate your attacks," Dalst replied with his hair over his face so no one could see it. He knew that this facedown was useless to the attacks. But he couldn't have Jacob destroy it, that would end the duel. Okay, he thought, deck, don't fail me. Especially not this turn. For Dalst this duel was his second entrance exam, and this time he refused to lose. this had to work. If it didn't.....
Hellequin
"Then attack," said Jacob, commanding his Elemental Hero The Shining to charge forward. It obeyed, and its attack destroyed Dalst's only remaining monster, leaving him wide open. One attack down... One more to go... thought Jacob, beginning to grin. "Time to finish this," he pointed directly at his opponent, who was defenseless. "Elemental Hero The Shining, finish this duel," said Jacob. The Elemental Hero charged forward once again, this time at a greater speed, ready to bring Dalst's life points to zero.
aznhobo
Xiao was walking around campus, even new it doesn't seem like anyone notice him. Xiao thought to himself he needs to make an image for himself. Unbeknown to himself that he just scream his thoughts...a group of students turned around and stared at Xiao in a gazed of WTF.. Xiao just waves it off and smiles . Everyone knows him as the new kid.. and Xiao didnt like that...on his way to his dorm room he sat in bed and finally got an idea he would duel one of the better duelist at school to gain some popularity, even though winning didnt matter to him (ok maybe kinda). Xiao decided to rest up for the next day in which he needs to find a duel.
kensei7272
"Seems this duel is finally over," Ryuuga thought to himself, "And that one duel ended similar to what I foresaw, speaking of which, where did those 2 go i need to ask that girl a question.". Ryuuga then walked away from that duel to find the two who where dueling earlier. He was roaming the courtyard looking when he found the girl who was dueling before when suddenly he was blinded by a powerful light. When he could see again he saw that the person she was dueling had summoned a monster that looked similar to that Hikari person. "What is going on?" he thought as tried to remain hidden. Justice Master
(OOC:Sorry I had to do dishes. Also dust happened when Hackli was destroyed.) The monster charged towards the slowly clearing dust that revealed only Dalst’s head. As it was about to make contact with him, Elemental Hero The Shining stopped and jumped back to Jacob. Dalst began to laugh as dust started to disappear. “Your attack didn't work ,” he said still looking down, "because of my trap! It activated when Hackli was destroyed, the dust just hid it until now. The dust cleared completely, only to show a trap named Last Stand along with a transparent Hackli. He began to explain, looking up, “we all know that people have had last stands in combat, but have you noticed that most of them do something great in the end? Well, this is Hackli’s last stand and his last achievement is dealing out damage to both of us equal to half of his ATK. And since his ATK is 1900, half of that 950! That means if you can’t stop this I win with 50 life points!” The transparent Hackli jumped into the air and sped towards the ground, about to deal 950 damage to them both by earthquake. Hellequin
Eyes wide, Jacob knew he could not stop it. It was over. The trap's effect hit Jacob directly, dropping his life points to zero. Galst's life points dropped in to a mere 50. The dust cleared, and Jacob lost. Head lowered, Jacob said, "Good duel. You got me. I was so close too..." His duel disk deactivated and the holograms of Elemental Hero The Shining, his set card, and Desperate Tag all disappeared from the field at once. I was so close... so close...
Justice Master
Dalst looked at his duel disk smiling. Only one thought went through his head, I won, I redeemed myself. "You too," he said, "I didn't think I would win that. Good duel." He walked over to Jacob and extended his arm for a handshake. He began, "maybe one day we'll have a rematch and then you might beat me. But, until then I guess I won." His mind was set on one thing, dueling one more person before the clock hit eight.
Hellequin
Jacob shook hands with the victor, but he was frowning slightly. So close... He then said, "Yeah. But don't think you beating me means you are the best or anything. There are far better duelists at this school. Some geniuses even. And how you barely beat me this time, you will have a hard time with them." I will probably try out my Fables in my next duel. They are probably the better deck now that I really start to think about it... "But good luck. Next time we duel we'll both be stronger." Justice Master
"I couldn't agree more," Dalst said as he started to walk off. He then remembered to tell Jacob something. Dalst pivoted his body and said, "about far better duelists, well," he paused, "this deck has more surprises in store then just the ones you have seen. I didn't even get out my Justice Commander Alinso! But, I guess I'll save him for another time." He began walking around the courtyard, just incase there was another duel awaiting him. Asriel Dreemurr
Gerald, seeing the end of the duel, calmly rose to his feet before making his way down the steps before the school. The backpack slung over his shoulder contained more than just a few textbooks and his homework, almost all of which he had finished during the classes themselves, it also contained his duel disk and his almost completely unchanging deck. The young man, secretly Dark Paladin, made his way over to the obvious victor of the duel, sliding a hand into his backpack and removing the duel disk he carried, into which he had already slipped his deck. "Looking for another challenge, then?" he asked as he extended his right hand in greeting, "Then allow me to oblige."
Justice Master
"Huh," Dalst was suprised to get his next challenge so fast. "Well I'm always ready for a duel!" He responded, but before we do, what's your name? I would like to know the name of the next guy I beat!" He was extreamly excited to duel this new opponent, he seemed like a great a duelist. Okay, he thought, my deck is gonna have to win yet another duel. Soldiers, you guys have many more tricks up your sleeves. How about we show this next challenger some of them!
Asriel Dreemurr
Gerald chuckled quietly as he removed his deck from his duel disk to shuffle it, a separate container set aside for his extra deck held upon his belt. His eyes were not upon his deck as he gazed directly into the face of his opponent, wondering if he might just have a Dark Paladin somewhere in there. Shaking the thought off mentally, he turned his deck over to look at the bottom card. "My name's Gerald," he said as it was revealed the bottom card was one Disk Warrior, "and my bottom card starts with "D", can ya beat it?"
VGVentus
Duke finches as his life points went down (Lp: 2800), he quickly regained his composture and shouted to the Dark Magician Girl, "Is that all? C'mon! Make your move!" Hikari pretended to look for the imaginary Buster Blader card, trying her best to distract Sugata and prevent him from witnessing her brother's duel. I can't keep this up forever, c'mon brother! Finish that duel as soon as posible!
MILSS
"I end," said Dark Magician Girl, smiling at the results of the damage she just dealt to her opponent. She began to think. Okay... I am practically defenseless, she thought. I have no set cards and both of my monsters are weaker than his... But if he destroys either of them I can search for a card that could actually help, she concluded. He pretty much has to attack me though, for he wants to end this duel as fast as I do. He has to attack me... "Your move," she said calmly.
VGVentus
Duke nodded and drew, looking at the card, he smiled. "Alright then, I activate a spell card from my hand! Emblem of Dragon Destroyer!" The spell card's hologram shone brightly, indicating it's effect was active. "Thanks to this card, I can add to my hand Buster Blader from either my deck or grave..." a card popped out of Duke's duel disk and into his hand, he then picked out another card from his hand, "I then play my Dark Magic Curtain! By paying half of my life points..." (Lp: 1400) "...I can special summon a certain card from my deck, known as..." Duke pulled the card from his deck and then placed it into his monster card zone, "...Dark Magician!" Dark Magician appeared on the field, his black armor shone brightly. "Now, let's get you two aquainted, Dark Magician! Attack Rai Mei!!"
MILSS
The attack hit, causing Rei-Mei's hologram to shatter. Dark Magician Girl let out a slight scream in pain as her life points dropped to 2900. That hurt... thought Dark Magician Girl. That actually hurt. Not like the attack done on her in her previous duel, where she faked being hurt, but that attack actually hurt her. Could it be that we are both duel monster spirits? Is the duel real? "Duke," she said, a little tired, as she picked a Level two or lower Light monster from her deck and placed it in her hand, "that attack actually hurt. It was like it was real..." VGVentus
(OoC: We're playing 4000, remember?) Duke paused for a second, "What? You got damaged? Let's stop this duel right now...Not!" Duke looked over to Magician's Valkyria and then at the Shining Angel, "Do you really think I would fall for your ability? You have some nerve...Maybe I should press my attack HARDER!" the Buster Blader, blinded by simplistic logic, called his next attack, "Magician's Valkyria! Attack Shining Angel! And Defender, attack the next monster summoned by it's ability!" Valkyria nodded and fired a magic ball at Shining Angel... (OoC: Got to go now...) MILSS
(ooc: edited my previous post to change 6900 to 2900) Shining Angel was destroyed by the attack, brining down Dark Magician Girl's life points to 2700, causing her pain even more. Hmph, she thought. I figured he wouldn't believe me even though I actually am telling the truth. She searched her deck. Hm... This card is perfect. "You don't want your sister to fall in love, Duke," said Dark Magician Girl, "but your monsters may in a second." Maybe even you, she thought. The card I am about to summon, Maiden in Love, has been known to be able to cause Duel Spirits in the spirit world to fall in love with her. It's like my ability, only it affects Duel Spirits instead of humans. If these cards we are playing with are actually real Duel Spirits, then you might be affected by her. And wouldn't it be funny to have your sister see you going lovey-dovey for this Maiden? Dark Magician Girl almost giggled at her thoughts. "I summon Maiden in Love." A young girl with long shiny brown hair and a yellow dress appeared on the field, only to be knocked down by Defender seconds later, letting out a scream in pain. Dark Magician Girl's life points dropped again to 1500.
Justice Master
"Well Gerald," Dalst responded as he shuffled his deck, "I hope you're ready for your card to be beaten! My Justice Soldiers will defeat that card easily!" Or at least I hope they do, he thought. There are so many cards that start with D, so this won't be an easy one to guess. That also means I might not know the card and that would give him a huge advantage. Well only one way to find out.
ExtremeG
Out near the courtyard, an 18 year old boy with bleach blonde hair who had been attending for over a year sat at a table alone. In front of him was his Duel Monster's Deck, the card's themselves seperate into three rows, Monster, Spell, and Trap. The rows were than seperated further into sub-types. The boy was looking over his cards intently, think of cards to add or cut. He could hear the sounds of other students Dueling eachother and let out a small sigh. Everything around him seemed so chaotic, so random. At least with his cards he could have order and control.
aznhobo
Xiao got bored of sitting in his dorm room so he decided to go out for a stroll he looked around and saw many duels going on at the same time.. he was quite overwhelmed since where he was from duel monsters was not very popular. Maybe Xiao will get his first match in the school Xiao walks around and is looking for his first match.
Asriel Dreemurr
Gerald chuckled quietly as he slid his deck back into it's place upon his duel disk, turning about and moving several paces from his opponent before turning back around and deploying the hologram projectors from his duel disk. For the time, he calmly awaited his chosen foe to do the same, having already drawn five cards and calmly waiting to see who would take the first turn in their duel. He was already happy with his hand and was just waiting for the opportunity to unleash it. If things went according to plan, the duel would be short and quick. "So, do I get the first move," Gerald began, hand already reaching for the card atop his deck, "Or you, Mr. confidential?"
Justice Master
"Heh," Dalst let out. He had always liked nicknames. "Of course Mr. Confidential goes second, he just so happened to have won his last duel," he responded as he drew five cards from his deck. Well, he thought, these cards aren't as good as last duel's but they'll have to do. He seems pretty confident he can beat me, though. I'll let my soldiers show exactly what they think about that.
VGVentus
Duke snarled, realising he fell for a simplistic plan. "Heh, that's an interesting move you got there, bringing out the Maiden in Love..." Buster Blader looked at his Defender, who began blushing when looking at Maiden in Love, Valyria rolled her eyes. "This is a bit troublesome, I guess I activate a trap card! Spirit Barrier!" a force field covered Duke's field, "Incase you bring out a tough monster, Spirit Barrier will negate any battle damage so long as I have monsters...I end my turn!" MILSS
"Don't forget Defender gets a Maiden Counter," said Dark Magician Girl, drawing to begin her turn. A small heart appeared on Defender's chest. "Though you can have one too if you want." She examined her hand for a moment. "I activate the spell card Poison of the Old Man," she started, gaining 1200 life points. (2700) "It has two effects, but I choose the one where I gain points. Next I'll equip the spell card Cupid's Kiss to the Maiden," she placed on the card on her duel disk, equipping accordingly. "Next I'll have her attack," the Maiden began skipping over to Defender only for Defender to move out of the way and her to fall on her knees. Dark Magician Girl's life points dropped to 1500. "So, your monster will help her help and come to my side by Cupid's Kiss's effect. Unless you want to."
