Justice Master
(OCC: Sorry, you said you would let me play my games so I did accordingly. I should've stopped and let you but again I assumed Jacob would just let him do whatever.) "I don't care, I wasn't even gonna attack. In-fact I end." Dalst knew his facedown was the key to the beginning of the end of this duel. "Jacob!" He yelled, "I hope you're ready to lose, cause there's no hope for you now! Your field means nothing. My facedown is going to end this all. If you think any of your card effects will help you much here, you're dead wrong." Dalst looked down to his facedown. He began thinking, this is it don't fail me now trap! You will end this.
Hellequin
(ooc: Sorry for the misleading comment with "i'll let you play your games" thing) "I draw," said Jacob, beginning his turn. "Your trap better be good because..." Stratos popped from his Graveyard and into his hand. "Ocean is still on the field. That means I get Stratos back. And I think I will summon him." Stratos once again emerged on to the field. "And since I have two Elemental Heroes on the field," said Jacob, grinning, "Two of your Spell/Trap cards are destroyed." Stratos prepared a large gust of wind, just like the previous turn. Hmph. Stratos really saved me this duel. It destroyed all three of his field spells. "If you cannot stop this, I win." Justice Master
"Jacob," Dlast began to chuckle as Stratos' wind came torwads his cards, "you're pretty predictible. Let me fill you in on something real quick. I failed the entrance exam to Duel Academy because I didn't play this facedown. This duel is turning out a lot like the exam except this time I set my trap! I activate the amazing Torrential Tribute! With this all monsters were destroyed at the second your Stratos was summoned!" A storm raged across the field destroying every monster in it's path. I knew that card would save me, Dalst thought as his Utopia stood around them. "There is something you can do, but I won't tell you what it is," he teasefully taunted Jacob, whose field was empty excluding two traps.
Hellequin
The sudden and strong blast caused Jacob to step back a little. Once the dust settled, all of his monsters were gone. So were his opponent's. Jacob smiled slightly, a little disappointed. "You got me. I should have seen that coming. Oh well. It is not over yet. I set another card and end my turn..." A third face down appeared on Jacob's side of the field. My life points are still pretty high. I have not lost yet...
Justice Master
"Your facedowns don't scare me because my next card should hit you hard," Dalst announced as he grabbed a card from his deck. "This," Dalst said, "is the card I needed, not Absolute Zero powerful, but it should do I special summon Justice Soldier Setail from my hand by removing Wannabe Soldier from play. You see, Setail is like the all grown-up version of my Wannabe Soldier, but his effect is much better for the occasion and he has a whopping 2600 ATK! Since my The Last Utopia is on the field I assume you can't destroy him so," he paused pointing to Jacob. "Setail attack!" He yelled.
Hellequin
The attack hit directly, causing Jacob's life points to drop to a very low 1300. Once again, he was moved back a few steps. "Nice move," he managed to say. I'm still winning... Barely though... I don't know if I can pull this one off... He continued, "You are a good duelist... I'm surprised you failed the entrance exam at duel academy..." Even if that is it, judging by my hand... Man this is going to be very close... "Go ahead. Finish your turn," he said, bracing for the worst.
Justice Master
"Thank you, but the only reason I lost is because I didn't set Torential Tribute. If I had won I bet Duel Academy would be a different place." Dlast explained before declaring, "I end." He'll just love Setail's effect if I get the chance to activate it. Setail should win me this duel and if he doesn't I hope I get something good next turn, he thought. He looked at his deck, hoping he might get a trap next turn, but he had no idea. Hellequin
(ooc: this entire post is under the assumption you have no spell or traps set on your field. im not entirely positive you do not have set spells/traps, so i thought i would include this message, so if I need to edit my post, I can.) "My turn, draw," Jacob said, adding another card to his hand. A grin appeared on his face. "I activate the spell card A Hero Arrives," he said, placing the spell on to his duel disk. "By paying half of my life points, I can Special Summon a level four or lower Elemental Hero from my deck." His life points dropped to 750 and a card popped out of his deck slot. He then proceeded to place it on the field. "Elemental Hero Flash!" The hero appeared on the field in attack position. 1100 ATK. "Next, I activate the spell card Skyscaper," he said, placing the card in his field spell slot. The buildings of Jacob's opponent's field spell crumbled, only to be replaced with slightly different skyscrapers. "If my Flash attacks your monster, it gains 1000 attack points. So it will attack, with 2100," Jacob said, with the understanding that his opponent's monster had 2600 ATK.
Justice Master
(OOC:I don't have any spell or traps so nothing would really happen. I'm sorry I didn't address that, though.) Dalst was surprised that he would attack with a weak monster but it was then he noticed Flash's effect. "Let me guess," he began, "You're going to bring back Absolute Zero with that card." This is bad, he thought. Without the last Utopia, I'm defenseless. "Jacob," He shouted, "unless a miracle happens you've won. I gotta have hope in my next card though. And," he paused, "this duel will end after this turn. I don't know how but it will end."
Hellequin
"We will just have to wait and see," Jacob replied. Flash was destroyed by Setail, dropping Jacob's life points down to 250. "Flash's effect activates. I remove him and three other Elemental Heroes from play," he continued, taking Flash, Ocean, Prisma, and Absolute Zero and stuffing them into his pocket, "To retrieve a normal spell card: I choose the A Hero Arrives. But it will not remain in my hand for long, for I activate it," he said, dropping his life points to 125. A monster popped out of his deck. "Elemental Hero Voltic, come forth." The hero materialized on to the field. 1000 ATK. "Oh, and do not forget Desperate Tag. I summon Elemental Hero Heat from my hand." A fiery Elemental Hero came forth to the field. "Polymerization activate!" Jacob revealed the spell from his hand. Heat and Voltic fused together to summon another hero. "Elemental Hero The Shining! Come forth." A large blast of light came from the ground, revealing the hero. 2600 ATK. "And now for its effect. It gains 300 ATK for each E-hero removed from play. That brings his attack up to 4100. But lucky for you, I already attack this turn. I end," said Jacob, with E-hero The Shining, Skyscaper, Desperate Tag, and two set cards on his field. No cards were in his hand. Justice Master
"Well," Dalst said, "the duel's ending is going to be based on this card so, draw!" He was hesitant to look at the card, for the duel could end if it was useless. He glanced at it and slowly placed it on the field. He explained the card, "This is my spell Reward for Punishment, I remove from play two Justice Soldiers ,like Setail and Neon, to draw two cards." He stopped. "If you negate this it's over, do you chain?" He asked.
Hellequin
(ooc: sorry about the wait.) If only I had a card to counter this. This deck... it has done well... but it is almost out of tricks... almost..."No, I do not," said Jacob, nodding, a signal for his opponent to continue. As of right now I have a slight advantage... still, it is his move... so it is pretty much out of my control right now... He looked at Elemental Hero The Shining. It all comes down to you. You are my last hope... He braced himself for the worst yet again.
Justice Master
(OOC:Meh it's fine) "Well, that's a relief," Dalst let out. "So I draw two cards!" He examined them, pleased with the results. "First, I activate Monster Reborn! With that I get to special summon one monster from our graveyards. And I beleive only one monster can do these last turns Justice! I special summon Justice Soldier Hackli from my graveyard in defense mode." He stopped once more with the same concerned face. "Again is there anything you can do?" He asked.
Hellequin
He seems to be building up to something... but I cannot figure out what he is trying to do... even so, I haven't been able to stop any of his moves this past turn anyways. It's all out of my hands, Jacob thought, analyzing the situation carefully. He replied, "Go ahead. I can't stop that." But I must win. He's going to try one last attempt, and I have to stop him. It is going to come down to the last card in his hand... Jacob relaxed himself and grinned slightly. "Continue." Justice Master
(OOC:Sorry my internet was sucking.) "Kay," Dalst sighed in relief, I set one card and put setail in defense mode. That is all I can do this turn. This next turn of yours will be the last, and although it's seems you can win this without trying, there is one last test and unless you destroy my facedown I still have a shot. I end." Dalst's head lowered as he stared at the ground. Only one thought went through his head, this is it, if this card doesn't work I lose. P.S. Hackli has 1900 ATK and DEF. Asriel Dreemurr
As the others had already begun to duel within the yard area of the school building, a new figure was making his way out of the building, dressed in a simple pair of black denim jeans which accompanied by a plain white button-up shirt and, perhaps most oddly, a pair of old worn out leather combat boots. He appeared normal enough aside from this, the exception being the silver hair that stretched about three feet down his back from his head and the bright red color of his eyes. He came upon the scene of a duel, one which it appeared was nearing it's close. Rather than choose to approach any of those involved in the duel, simply taking a seat on one of the steps leading down from the front door of the school and deciding to watch and see what happened. He briefly wondered if any of those whom he knew from the spirit world had made there way to this place as well, but soon shook the thought aside. This was, as the humans knew him, Gerald Dunn and as the other duel monsters spirits could know him, Dark Paladin.
CommanderVolt
"Anywhere in the school...?" Sugata gave out a sigh. Pausing for a moment, Sugata spoke soon after. "I haven't seen you around before...my names Sugata Taisuji, and yours?" Sugata looked to Hikari again, and then trailed off in thought as he saw her. Now that i think about it, theres alot of new students as of lately...Isan't that normal though...Still. It seems a little odd. Guess i need to keep my eyes peeled. Something seems off, i can just feel it. Theres something different about the school this year."
VGVentus
Duke drew a card, he then set a card and summoned a monster in attack mode, "I summon Magician's Valkyria in attack mode!" the hologram of a girl who looked alot like Hikari appeared, staff drawn and ready for battle. "Now I flip my set monster, Defender, the Magical Knight! And then I'll activate my Pitch-Black Power Stone!" a blue knight with a sheild appeared, dagger drawn; a black pot with a spell counter symbol appeared behind Defender. Duke continued his turn, "I then use my Pitch-Black Power Stone to add a Spell Counder to my Defender, after that, I end my go..." Hikari replied to Sugata's question, "My name is Hikari Shugosha, and I'm new here today, along with my brother..." Hikari then asked him, "...Will you help me look for it?" CommanderVolt
"Well then Hikari. It's nice to meet you." Sugata smiled softly, completely different from when he was dueling earlier. "Yeah, i'll help you look for it. But where to start..." He trailed off for a few moments and then snapped back to reality. "Oh yeah, what card is it anyway? It'll help alot more if we know what card it is; then it's possible to try the lost and found at the main office." Sugata turned and looked at Hikari. He awaited her reply with a bit of eagnerness. He was really happy to possibly to be of some help. Perhaps his senior year was going to be diffirent for sure.
VGVentus
"My card is...The Buster Blader, that's it! My brother gave me that card and if I loose it, I'll upset him..." Hikari sniffed, actually starting to cry over her own ploy. "...We, we could try the main office first, but I doubt it'll be there, when I loose a card...I almost never find it again!" Magician's Valkyria looked back and suddenly realised that her brother had summoned her card to the field! "Um, on second thoughts, how about we try the courtyard first?"
CommanderVolt
"Buster Blader? Man does that name bring back memories." Sugata scratched his head a bit. "Hey, don't cry, im sure we'll find it. If it was your brother's memento i know that it will find its way back to you." Sugata raised an eye-brow at Hikari's sudden decision to search the court yard instead. "Yeah, we can search the court yard first if you'd like. Maybe you remembered something?" "Did something just happen...?" Sugata thought, starting to feel a little uneasy, he shifted his body and walked forward a little, standing beside Hikari. He then gazed out through the court yard, looking at things in plain sight.
Hellequin
"To begin my turn, I draw," said Jacob, adding a card into his empty hand. He could be bluffing about that face down... But I better play it safe... Too risky... "Trap activate," Jacob calmly revealed the trap he set the previous turn. "Reckless Greed. Consider the duel will end this turn or next, probably, this seems like a good time to activate this." Jacob was about to pick up two cards from his deck, but then glanced at his opponent to see if he had some type of a response to Jacob's trap's activation. MILSS
"Okay I draw," said Dark Magician Girl. So he is using a similar deck to mine, she thought. Spellcasters. And he even used Magician's Valkyria, a card that also appears in my deck. "I summon Shining Angel in attack mode," announced Dark Magician Girl, summoning the already familiar angel monster. 1400 ATK. "Next I flip my face down monster," the face down card in front of her flipped up, "Rai-Mei." A girl with a purple jumpsuit summoned itself to the field. 1400 ATK. "Next I activate my face down," Dark Magician Girl pointed to the one she used the previous turn. "Solar Ray, a trap that inflicts 600 life points for each Light monster I control. That totals to 1200."
Justice Master
"Go on," Dalst responded as he continued to look down. Okay, he thought, this has to work. I need him to do one thing and if this doesn't work then I'll lose. Let's see if he can pass the final test. He continued to look down, eventually changing his attention to his duel disk. It was somewhat empty for then of a duel, but that didn't matter to him. He knew there was a chance.
Hellequin
Jacob continued to draw the two cards. This might be it... But if I have learned anything from this duel... absolutely nothing is for sure.... "I activate the Spell Card," Jacob said, placing it onto his duel disk, "Hero Heart." Elemental Hero The Shining's attack dropped to 2050. "With this," Jacob continued, "My monster's attack drops by half until the end of the turn, but it can attack twice during this battle phase. If you are not going to negate it or if you cannot stop my attacks this is over. 2050 beats your monster's 1900, and then the second attack will finish you off." It has been a good duel. Hopefully this is it.
