Hellequin
"I activate my face down," Jacob said, revealing a trap. "Desperate Tag." Jacob watched as his hero was destroyed, but he took no damage. "You see, with Desperate Tag, which is a Continuous Trap card, whenever a monster of mine in attack position is destroyed by battle, I take no damage and," he paused to pick a card out of his hand and play it on to the field, "I can special summon 1 warrior monster, level four or lower. I choose Fortress Warrior." A four legged stone warrior appeared on the field in attack position. 600 attack. "His effect is that first I take no damage involving battle with him, and that once per turn if he would be destroyed he is not."
MILSS
Still dueling, Dark Magician Girl glanced over at the people who were watching the duel. Two of them were dueling themselves, but it was too early into it to see who was winning. Then she noticed Buster Blader. And then his sister. Crap, she thought. I do not know if they see me or not, but if they do, this could be very bad. I am pretty well known in the Spirit World as it is, so I doubt they would not be able to recognize me. Come on ability, she thought. Work on Sugata faster!
VGVentus
Duke suddenly felt the presence of someone he knew, he quickly glanced in Dark Magician Girl's directon and then turned to Hikari. "Little sister, stay here, I need to do something...But, I'll be back as soon as I can..." Duke informed Hikari, he then left his sister's side shortly afterwards. He then walked up behind the Dark Magician Girl, who he knew oh to well to be fooled by some cheap disguise. "...What are you doing here, Darky?" Duke asked in a monotony voice... MILSS
(ooc: you do realize I am outside and dueling, right? I'm not in any room or anything. I'm in a courtyard where I am dueling Tuatha Dé Danann, aka Sugata.) Dark Magician Girl just ignored Buster Blader, not even glancing over in his direction, keeping her attention on the duel. If it came down to it, she could just say he was mistaking her for someone else; he probably needs to keep a cover just as much I as do, along with his sister, so there should not be much of a problem. He cannot insist he knows me because that would just make him look weird. Still, the name Darky could cause some people to catch on to who I am. Hopefully he goes away soon. Justice Master
"Good move," Dalst looked over his cards, in-case he had any other thing he could do. "Well," he paused, "I have nothing more I can do, it's your move." He began to think, ah Elemental Heroes. They're gonna be a force to be reckoned with. But, my Justice Soldiers have a little more up their sleeves.
Hellequin
"Okay," Jacob said, drawing. He grinned. Perfect. "First, I activate the Spell Card Miracle Fusion." Fortress Warrior disappeared from the field, and Elemental Hero Woodsman popped out from his graveyard holder for his duel disk. "By removing cards from my graveyard or field from play that match the fusion material monsters for an Elemental Hero fusion monster, I can summon that fusion monster. I choose, Elemental Hero Gaia! All I need are an Elemental Hero and an Earth monster." A large, robotic warrior materialized on to the field in attack position. 2200 attack. VGVentus
(OoC: Whoops, failed epically there, let me just edit my post...) "...I apologise, you are duelling at the moment, I shouldn't interupt you..." Duke apologised, turning to return to her sister's side. He looked back and said to himself, "...But after your duel, I'm going to find out why you of all monsters are here..." He then faced forward and walked away. Hikari looked at her brother as if he was an alien for a moment before shouting at him, "What was that all about? You can't just flirt with random people while they're dueling, it's not normal!" Duke then snapped back, "First of all, that Girl is Darky, y'know, the Dark Magician Girl? Second, I don't flirt with people! And neither should you!" "Brother!!" Justice Master
Why would you want to summon a monster with lower atta-" He stopped, remembering the effect of Gaia. "I see," he pointed out, "you're gonna use you effect to half the attack of my Monero and gain it. I used to use E-Heroes too." But, that won't help me, I may know they're effects, but I have no idea how he'll use them. Besides fusion. So my next card must be Neon. Unless something else can get me outta this mess, he thought. "Wait!" He realized, "as long as I have The Last Utopia none of your effects can target my soldiers when they're on the field!" Hellequin
Jacob smirked. This deck is working out perfectly so far. "Still, with your field spell, you monsters cannot be targeted by Gaia's effect. But I plan to change that," said Jacob. "I summon E-hero Stratos!" A blue warrior with high tech wings summoned on to the field. "And with his ability, I can destroy a Spell or Trap card for each E-hero on the field, discounting him of course. Meaning," Jacob pointed out the field spell, "your field spell is destroyed." Stratos released a large wind gust that headed straight for the spell. Justice Master
"Oh well," Dalst laughed as his amazing land crumbled to the ground, "Gaia's effect only works when he's fusion summoned, meaning you can only attack Kain!" He glanced at his trap, knowing that his Utopia wouldn't be gone for long. "So attack Kain, I dare ya!" He stood confidently, well aware that Gaia would be gone soon. "I'm waiting for your move, don't tell me you're afraid." Dalst knew he could peer presure him into attacking with his comment. He then looked over to the girl at the other duel, thinking, thank you for being there at this time.
Hellequin
Hmph... It seems like he wants me to attack him... That's really weird... Jacob thought to himself, trying to figure out if it was a bluff or not. I probably should play it safe. We only have 4000 life points each... Jacob then glanced at his hand, and over at the girl, who was still dueling. No turning back. "Go! Gaia, attack his Kain," he said with confidence, his eyes showing much passion. Gaia charged forward at a fast speed for such a heavy warrior. Justice Master
"Why thank you," Dalst said with a wide grin on his face. The warrior in front in him in a cloud of dust as he embraced it like a warm hug. His life points becam 3400. "Now trap activate! Soldier's Sympathy! I love this card. If you destroy a Justice Soldier I control in battle, which you did, I get to add 1 Justice Soldier from my deck to my hand! And I choose Justice Soldier Messanger!" He smiled, sure that his plan couldn't fail.
Hellequin
That's it? I was expecting more, thought Jacob. He seems pretty happy though. I should not underestimate him. He glanced over at the girl again. Thanks for helping with that decision. I think it will be the key to the victory of this duel. "I set another card," said Jacob, making the total number of face down spell/trap cards on his field two. "And that pretty much ends my turn," said Jacob, confident with his 4000 life points compared to his opponent's 3400. This deck is great. It might be my main one after this duel.
Justice Master
"I'm sorry you feel so confident," Dalst said, "but, Messanger is more then what you'd expect." He grabbed a card form his deck, "Draw! Okay, first I discard Justice Soldier Messanger to add one The Last Utopia from my deck to my hand." He smiled, extreamly satisfyed. He asked, "do you have anything to chain to my Soldier's effect?"
Hellequin
(OOC: try to make you posts a little longer, please.) The field spell's towers materialized on to the field once again. "No I do not," said Jacob bluntly, with a little less vigor in his voice, but none-the-less confidence was there. I figured he would do something like this, but I came prepared... As long as I survive this turn... "Go ahead. Do you worst," he said, smirking. Glancing over at the girl again, he thought, This victory will be done in your honor. He then turned his attention back towards his opponent, who seemed overjoyed with his filed spell back. I will not lose...
Justice Master
(OCC:Sorry, I'll be making at least 5 lines from now on.) "Heh," Dalst began to explain the rest of his moves, moves that he knew would win the duel, "I set another card face down and summon Wannabe Soldier!" A young swordsman appeared before him, while Dalst smile continued to grow. "When he's summoned succsesfully, I get to add a Justice Soldier tuner from my deck to my hand and I'll add Justice Soldier Neon!" He began to look at the ground before looking up and announcing, "with Monero's effect I'll pay 200," his life points became 3200. "And decrease your Stratos' ATK to 1600! Since my Wannabe Soldier also has 1600 ATK if I do attack they'll both be destroyed! Which I beleive I'll do!" He confidently declared the attack upon the mechanical soldier, laughing as the youn soldier with blue hair ran torwads his weakened monster. Hellequin
I could stop it, but... Wannabe Soldier and Stratos were both destroyed by the attack. "Trap activate!" exclaimed Jacob. One of his two face down cards revealed itself. "Hero Signal! When Stratos is destroyed, I can search for another hero and special summon it." Elemental Hero Ocean popped out of his deck and summoned itself to the field. 1500 ATK. "And don't forget about Desperate Tag," Jacob selected another monster from his hand and placed it on to the field. "Elemental Hero Ice Edge, come forth." 800 ATK. Altogether, Jacob had three elemental heroes on the field, Gaia, Ice Edge, and Ocean.
Justice Master
"I see," Dalst unmoved by this move, although he knew the next hero he would summon. He decided to attack once more. "Well," he explained, "I guess I can attack one of your three monsters, no matter which one I choose Absolute Zero will be here this next turn. So I might aswell attack you highest ATK monster." Since his The Last Utopia was on the field he wasn't afraid of any traps Jacob had, but if Absolute Zero comes out all of his monsters would be in danger. "So," Dalst began, "Monero attack Elemental Hero Gaia!"
Hellequin
I have him right where I want him... Jacob watched his Gaia's hologram shattered into pieces. "I have no other monsters in my hand, so Desperate Tag won't go into effect when it comes to monster summon. And since I can't summon a monster I can't reduce the damage to zero, so my life points drop, but the damage is minimal so I don't mind." Jacob's 4000 went down to 3900. He glanced at his hand. At this rate I won't be able to finish him next turn. I don't think a single card in my deck could finish him. But... "Go ahead and finish your turn," said Jacob. Justice Master
Dalst looked down knowing there was the chance of him losing, he tried to ignore it because it was going to throw him off. "I end," he stated, nervous of the next card Jacob would draw, if it was a polmerization he couldn't do much besides stop the attack once. After that, it would take a miracle, a Soldier of fate, he then remembered Justice Soldier Neon in his hand. That could save him or do nothing, the duel lied in the hands of fate. I need to prove myself as a good duelist, I have to win! He thought.
Hellequin
"Draw," Jacob said to begin his turn. He smiled. Not bad. "Ocean's effect activates. I can return an Elemental Hero in my graveyard to my hand. And I choose Stratos." He added Stratos to his hand. Since Wannabe Soldier was not a Justice Soldier, I could have stopped him with my face down last turn. But I needed Stratos in my graveyard so I could summon name again. "Next I'll summon him, and assuming you don't try to stop it, I can destroy two of your spell/trap cards since I have two E-heroes on the field." Stratos prepared a large gust that would once again bring his opponent's city to pieces, not to mention the other face down card.
CommanderVolt
There was a large green-beam of light which fell from the sky. "I Synchro Summon Flamvell Uruquizaz!" From the green ray of light arose a monster with a molten-like body and flames in it's hands. "Surprised?" Sugata said, pressing his glasses up. "While the contents of my main deck are all Reptilianne monsters..." He paused and shifted his body towards Emma's face down monster card. "The contents of the extra deck are all over the place. So, if you know anything about this monster of mine, it deals piercing damage! Flamvell Uruquizas! Attack Emma's facedown monster!" Sugata yelled and his Flamvell Uruquizaz fired a stream of flames at Emma's face down monster card.
Justice Master
"Ugh!" Dalst should've destroyed Ocean, but he forgot about Stratos, if the next card wasn't Justice Soldier Setail then this duel was over unless Monero wasn't destroyed. There were only two cards in his deck that could save him now. He needed Setail or Recklessness or Rightousness if he didn't get either, he would lose. "I can't do anything, yet." He didn't know what to do. He needed luck to win. This duel was tougher then the entrance exam. He couldn't lose though. He had to win.
MILSS
(ooc: let's make both players' life points 4000 to speed the duel up) Dark Magician Girl's face down card was revealed to be Unhappy Maiden, a girl with long orange hair. "100 DEF and its ability ends the battle phase, but it doesn't really matter," said Dark Magician Girl. "That means I lose two thousand life points." The duel spirit screamed in fright as the fire hit her, dropping her life points to 2000. Let's see if my pain has some effect on him, she thought. My ability has some effect on him, I know it. "That hurt, Sugata. Don't attack me so hard next time," she said, obviously hurt.
Hellequin
This has to work..."I set one spell/trap face down," said Jacob. A face down card appeared in front of him. "Next, I activate Polymerization!" Both Elemental Hero Stratos and Ice Edge came together to form a new warrior. "Elemental Hero Absolute Zero!" The blue and white hero appeared on to the field. 2500 ATK. "And his attack goes up thanks for Ocean being a water monster," said Jacob. 2500 -> 3000. "And with no defenses, I'll have Zero attack your only monster and Ocean attack you directly." This should not finish him. It all comes down to what he does next turn.
