Hoshī no Gunman![/b][/size][/center] [spoiler=Plot]The wild, wild West is a place where a gunman can prove his worth and grit. It’s an unforgiving place to the weak, but to those who are strong enough to survive, those people will have a great opportunity to become immortalized in the eyes of others. However, this respect and fame doesn’t come without its risks. In the West, just about everybody is looking to become top dog, and only a few number of people have ever came close to earning the title of "King of Gunmen". To become the best of the best, you’ll have to prove yourself during your career as a gunman. There are no guaranteed ways to become the King, but if Lady Luck is on your side, then you might just be the next to carry the prestigious title. And to think, this brawl for the title began right after one of the worst wars in History, the 10 Years Shootout. The 10 Years Shootout was caused by none other than the great freedom fighter and the very first King of Gunmen himself, "Wild Bill" Dallin. The war was waged between freedom fighters and the West Republic Army, whose goal is to retain order within the West. Unfortunately, Dallin and the freedom fighters lost the war. However, even the West Republic Army could not bring down Dallin and so made a treaty with him and the freedom fighters to give them their freedom in the Great West Plains. Dallin agreed with the government’s demand to not start another war, and so Dallin and the freedom fighters made their new life within the Great West Plains. Dallin soon became the first King of Gunmen and lived the remainder of his life free. After Dallin died, he left a will saying that whoever can gain fame to rival that of his will become the next King of Gunmen. And the rest they say is history. During the next hundred years, there have been only two new Kings of Gunmen, Richard "Coyote" Doolin and J. Bull. Now the spot is once again opened due to the death of J. Bull, and everybody in the West is aiming their sights upon that title. Recently, there’ve been new prestigious titles created to recognize the few gunmen who have proven their worth. The most prestigious of these titles is Boss of the Plains, a title only given to ten gunmen who are the best of the best. All of them are currently the closest to becoming the new King of Gunmen. However, besides everybody fighting for the title of King of Gunmen, the West Republic Army has been seen interfering in the affairs of gunmen in the Great West Plains. Rumor has it the army might just want to take their land back and due to the lack of a king, the army will seize this opportunity to take back what’s theirs. However, the West Republic Army will have to get through the many gunmen who calls the Great West Plains home, and that won’t be an easy task considering each gunmen can perform magical and destructive feats known as Gunspells. Gunspells are basically a gunman’s inner energy transformed into destructive powers. For example, the power to create a lightning coyote aura around the bullet of your gun to attack the enemy, this was a power known to belong to the great second King of Gunmen, Richard "Coyote" Doolin. Not all powers are the same however, as Gunspells vary from gunman to gunman. One gunman may have an affinity to use lightning-based Gunspells while another gunman may have an affinity to use fire-based Gunspells. Two gunmen who have the same affinity may have different powers and attacks. This makes a gunman a force to be reckon with. You are a Wild West gunman, your goal is whatever you decided it to be. Whether it’s to reach the top and become King of Gunmen or to just live out your life and earn your living by doing other people’s dirty work, the choice is yours to make. Fint is toned but not noticeably muscular. Flint has light skin and his most prominent features are his spiky rose red-colored hair and his jade-colored eyes. Another one of Flint's prominent features is a horizontal scar on his left cheek. Flint is a pretty average person when it comes to look though his personality and power attracts more attention than his looks. Clothing-wise, Flint dresses in a black waistcoat with gold trimmings and front pockets, a long-sleeved white, cotton shirt underneath with the sleeves rolled up, a brown buckle belt, two black, gun holsters, one on each side of his belt, a brown pouch on his belt behind his back, white trousers, and brown boots. The most prominent feature of his clothing has to be his scarf which he always wear. The scarf itself is plaid with rose and white as its main colors. Flint can also be seen at times wearing a brown cowboy hat.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Personality:]Flint has a happy-go-lucky and carefree personality. Flint is also very energetic which at times will get him into a lot of trouble. Even so, Flint has almost no sense of fear and will dive into a situation blindly. He also has an apparent lack of intelligence which ties into his fearlessness, causing him to do things other people would look at as being completely crazy like approaching a Boss of the Plains and asking him for directions without hesitation. Flint is protective and caring of his friends and people who are innocent. Flint is also very protective of his scarf. Flint will get into a fight with anyone who tries to ruin his scarf or even touches it. When this happens, Flint's personality changes altogether. Flint becomes rather serious and he has an expression as if he's ready to kill anyone. During this state, Flint's real power emerges, making him become a dangerous figure to be around. Even so, Flint will usually turn back into his normal self after he has gotten his scarf back. A weird thing about Flint is that he is reluctant to kill anyone, which sounds strange for a gunman, but Flint has his reasons for doing so. Flint is also well known for his tenacity. Even when there seems to be no hope left, Flint will find a way to make hope.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Bio:]Born onto a small ranch on the outskirts of Westfall City, Flint spent most of his childhood taking care of animals and tending to crops. Growing up, Flint never knew his father. Flint lived with only his mother, his grandparents, and his older brother. Flint was never told of what happened to his father, but it seemed as if everybody else knew his father. Flint felt that his family was hiding something from him, but Flint never asked again about his father. During his childhood on the ranch, Flint spent most of his afternoons throwing rocks into a river near the ranch. Flint, at first, was horrible at throwing rocks. His older brother however, was a different story. His older brother knew how to use a gun and even more, knew how to use Gunspells, but he kept it a secret to his family. The only way Flint had found out about it was when he watched his brother secretly train in the Westfall Valley. Flint's older brother convinced him not to tell their mother about his powers. Flint agreed but on the condition that his older brother would teach him how to shoot a gun. After that, Flint in his older brother would spend most of their afternoons in Westfall Valley shooting. Flint learned fast, but was still an amateur at shooting a gun. Soon, Flint's brother left to go to the Great West Plains to start his life as a gunman. After his older brother had left, Flint became rather depressed and then became very ill. Flint's mother tried all methods to help him, but nothing work. Flint was afflicted with a fever for over two months. During those two months, Flint's body temperture was alarmingly high. After the two months, Flint returned to his normal self, though he seems much happier. One day, travelling home from a errand in Westfall City, Flint noticed that he felt a bit hot and so he took a rest at a nearby tree. Even with the shade, Flint felt as if he was burning up. This lasted about two hours until he was finally normal. That same day, Flint's mother knitted him a scarf made out of special silk that protects him from hot temperatures. Flint was so happy with the gift that he almost forgot to take it off when he was going to take a shower. Three days later, Flint went on another errand run in Westfall City, this time, with his grandparents. Later that night, Flint arrived home to a horrifying sight. His mother being killed by a group of bandits. In that moment, Flint lost it. He lost all control of himself and yelled loudly in pain and despair, causing the ground around him to burn up in a blaze. Flint grabbed one of the revolvers mounted onto the wall of his home and load it with bullets. All the while, his rage built up like a firestorm inside. The bandits noticed Flint and the rage shown on his face and were quite terrified at the sight. But before they could do anything about it, Flint shot a single bullet towards the bandits. The spin and speed of the bullet was so great that fire began encircling the bullet. Once the bullet reached close enough to the bandits, it exploded into a giant blast of fire, killing all of the bandits and burning down the ranch. Flint then lost consciousness. When Flint awoke, he noticed he was in a small home with his grandparents gathered around him. His grandparents explained the situation to Flint, and Flit was devastated. The ranch had burned completely to the ground. His grandparents were able to save the animals and the body of Flint's mother. During the funeral, rain was falling quite hard as well as Flint's tears. His brother however, was not seen at the funeral. Now all Flint has to remember his mother by is the scarf she knitted for him. Flint and his grandparents soon discovered that Flint has a talent for using Gunspells. Soon after, Flint decided that he will become a gunman in hopes of making a new life and maybe find his older brother. A month later, Flint was ready to leave having gather all his things. Nova is the gun used by Flint to attack the bandits who killed his mother. Nova is a powerful revolver that also has amazing speed. Rebeller is the powerhouse of Flint's two revolvers. It has a nine round chamber along with a single chamber that fires a large, explosive bullet.[/spoiler][/spoiler] [spoiler=Gunspells:]Flint utilizes fire-based Gunspells. His Gunspells are incredibly powerful and destructive but hard to master and control. Flint seems to only be able to activate his Gunspells during times when his rage is build up. However, Flint is slowly learning to use Gunspells with control. Solis Charge - This attack was first used by Flint on the bandits who killed his mother. The barrel of his revolver becomes heated to the point that the metal turns red in color. Flint then fires a bullet moving at super high speed. The spin of the bullet is so great that fire begins to form around the bullet, creating a twisting firestorm. Upon impact, it can create a large explosion, and in the aftermath, the fire will still continue to burn whatever it touches. Burst Nova - This attack allows Flint to fire a barrage of fire bullets at his opponent(s). The speed of each bullet is increased dramatically as well as the damage dealt by each individual bullet. After the attack is finished, Flint's gun will begin to smoke out of the heat and speed produced by each bullet. Sun Dive - This attack is used exclusively with Rebeller. With this attack, a giant red ball of pure heat energy forms and is blasted towards the opponent(s). Upon impact, it causes a huge explosion, larger than the explosion caused by Solis Charge. The damage is also more devastating. However, the speed at which this attack travels is dramatically slower. He also carries around a backpack, full of gadgets and gun modifications that John has built. This bag also carries his personal items. He is very clever, and smart, able to calculate almost anything, and think of almost foolproof strategies and plans. He can be witty, making jokes even in the face of danger. He is jovial, and friendly, opening up easily to others, and even making them warm up to him and want to be his friend. Oddly enough, he doesn't like women.(No, he doesn't like men) Despite his joyful nature, he can be grim, and serious at certain moments. This can be make even his friends afraid. He tries to help everyone he comes across. He is actually the kind of guy who doesn't like fighting, but does so to protect the innocent.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Bio:]About one year ago, John was 15, working in a gunsmiths shop in his home town. Ol' Bill was the owner of the shop, and the only family that John had ever had. You see, John was orphaned when he was a baby. Bill had found him, took him in, and raised him as his own. John had been living on the cot in the back room ever since. Over time, he had been collecting pieces of scrap metal. He was working on a secret project, a gun. Eventually, he had completed a sniper rifle, based upon a revolver he had seen. Every day on his time off, he went out to practice his shooting a distance off from a ranch, shooting chickens. One day, when he came back from pracice, he saw Bill being attacked. He was engaged in a gun fight with 3 men. John didn't know what to do. He saw a bullet pierce Bills shoulder. John needed to do something, so he aimed up his sights, and sniped at one of the men. while the other two checked on the man he had shot, he took his chance to check on Bill. He was about to die. John acted out of anger, and pulled out a knife and threw it. It his the man square in the back of the skull. The third man, must have been the leader, because he had fancier clothes than the other 2. John threw a knife at the man, who then dodged. The man shot his leg. John fell to the ground in pain. Just as the man was about to shoot him, he secretly picked up Bills revolver, and shot the man. The man did not die, but was thrown back the a concussive force. He had used his first Gunspell. John took this opportunity to shoot the man, taking revenge. After that, John set out to help others in need as a Gunman. For Bill.[/spoiler] [u][b]Gunman Info[/b][/u] [spoiler=Weapons:]1. The gun was built with a custom chamber, similar to that of a revolver, for a faster reload. Johns most used weapon. Multiple kinds of scopes can be attached to it, and the blade can be detached. Multiple bullets include explosive, poisoned, a bullet which has a tip that shatters on impact, and a bullet that curves. 2. Throwing Knives. These are full metal, even the handle. The blade is sharpened to it's thinnest point, and has double sided blades. These are built with an aerodynamic curve in the handle. 3. A .38 special Colt Diamondback revolver. It has a black barrel and cylinder. It has custom attachments and modifications built by John, such as a silencer, and an addition to the side of the chamber for quicker reloading.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Gunspells:]John's Gunspells are based upon morphing the bullets after they are shot, rather than having elemental capabilities. Snipers Mark-If an enemy is hit, but not killed, an unseen mark is placed on them. John can see this mark, no matter where the marked person goes. This also increases the range of John's sniper, as it attracts his bullets, thus adding to the bullet speed. Lasts for 5 minutes. Aqua Star-The bullet shot heats up so much, that it melts while in the air before hitting the target. Concussive Bullet-When the bullet nears the target, the energy collected from the built up speed is released, and the bullet is destroyed, and the energy becomes a wave, or pulse that will knock the enemy back with force that is relative to the built up energy. Barrage-The bullet splits into 6 equal pieces. Concussive Barrage-The bullets split into 6 equal pieces, and then each release a concussive blast, but the energy is divided equally. This means that the energy in each bullet is significantly weaker. ie. His first defining trait is his heterochromatic eyes, his left eye is hazel-colored while the iris in his right eye is cerulean-colored. His nose is moderately sized with his chin being slightly rounded and arcs deeply to his throat. Albin has a modest build, though the biceps in his arms appear to be slightly more well-built than his legs. He wears a black vest with a red long-sleeved shirt under it. He wears black jeans with a blue belt and brown boots. [/Spoiler] [b]Personality[/b]: [Spoiler=Personality] Cynical, Mentally-unstable, Psychotic, and Crazy are common labels most people give to Albin when they first meet him. Albin has no qualms stooping to new lows to achieve his aims. He can appear calm and collected at times, but can easily disintegrate into violent threats, almost insane laughter, and derogatory comments. Despite what people label as his "Mental Status", Albin is thoughtful, calculating, and an intelligent individual. Albin also seems to have a mental calculator in his head at some times, doing some complex math in near seconds but at most times doesn't show that side of him. His principal obsession is money, all of his exploits and misdeeds are justified in his head that it was to obtain money and in his mind, money is the end that justifies all means. [/Spoiler] [b]Bio[/b]: [Spoiler=Bio] Most of Albin's history is unknown to everyone, save himself. The farthest anyway can trace his history is back to when he was 11 working at a tavern at the deepest ends of the Wild West. He grew up living on the outskirts of the town where the tavern was located and stealing whatever he could get his hands on while under a cloak he wore over his head as he rushed past. Soon enough, the tavern and town were ransacked by bandits and Albin fled as far as he could away and he was luckily never caught. He made his way to a small town that was situated a few miles away. By that time, Albin turned 15 and began working at whatever job he could find. When he was 16 and a half, Albin suddenly vanished from the shop he worked for and began his work as a gunman. At first, Albin wasn't the Albin of present. He was much calmer and even had a witty sense of humor and he hadn't killed anyone yet. It suddenly changed when Albin had his first duel. From then on, he learned to love the smell of blood and his mind slowly deteriorated into madness. The handle is wrapped in black tape with the blade resembling a long sword. ======================== o A small knife-blade hidden on the bottom of his right boot. ======================== [/Spoiler] [b]Gunspells[/b]: [Spoiler= Gunspells] Albin's Gunspell powers are based on control of a target's senses and maximizing dealt physical and mental damage to a target. They don't have much effect if a person expects them, but are deadly effective and powerful against those without such knowledge and can still hold their own even if a person expects it. o [i]Ghoulspook[/i]: The gun Albin is holding radiates a violent purple. It causes targets to hallucinate into seeing horrifying visions such as a terrifying black reaper ghost coming at them with a long scythe or possibly even more terrifying and gory scenes. The gun first fires a sound wave that traps everyone who hears it into the hallucination. The sound wave sounds like a ghost screaming and the target must hear the sound for it to affect them, thus it won't work if the target is wearing ear plugs or is deaf. o [i]Stigma bullet[/i]: The gun Albin is holding glows black. It fires a single bullet that if it hits the target causes the wound to grow worse at an increasing rate. o [i]Fade[/i]: The gun Albin is holding glows red before shooting a red colored bullet. The target soon experiences blurred vision that gets worse as they get closer to Albin. At far distances, the target's vision is completely normal, but becomes worse based on his proximity to Albin. The effect lasts for 1 day or until the person drinks the antidote Albin keeps. o [i]Insanity[/i]: The gun glows blue and causes any target hit by the following bullet to slowly lose his/her mind. The bullet does no physical damage and the target will seem unharmed, but will slowly begin to lose their mind after 20 minutes pass. At 35 minutes, the victim is almost completely insane and will begin to babble gibbrish at which their seeming mental condition will deteriorate. The effect lasts for 1 hour. He also likes to take his guns apart and put them back together. Michael also likes to train, figure out strategies, and adding to his combat style. More casual hobbies include playing games such as blackjack or liar's dice. He's also into parkour though he considers it training. [spoiler=Appearance] Michael is 5'8" and weighs around 145 pounds. Although he doesn't really seem like it he is strong, fast, and fairly flexible for a guy (splits are defiantly out of there for him). He has straight blonde hair and dark blue eyes. Even in high temperatures he wears a black shirt with a blue jacket over it. He wears the necklace with the blue crystals he recieved from his mother. He likes to wear blue jeans although in a fight he'd rather be wearing something some a bit more loose. He wears a brown leather belt that has three gun holsters. The two on both of his sides are for his revolvers and the one right above his butt is for his pistol. He's more or less just antisocial and tends not to like most people. He's got a very short temper though and with his a**holishness tends to get him into a lot of fights He can't stand when somebody goes up against a clearly weaker person or gangs up on somebody. He doesn't care if somebody thinks negatively of him or if somebody knows he thinks negatively of them. When he feels a bond with someone he'll be much more open and kind although it might not seem like it at times. He's about average when it really comes to I.Q. but is a much more clever guy. Some say that he's suicidal for his up close fighting style and all the other suicidal things he does though to him what they call suicidal is just funner for him. [spoiler=Holy S*** Long Bio] Michael was born into a fanmily that was doiing well for themself. They weren't rich or anything but they had the necessities and eachother. He had two siblings. Kevin who was five years older and Mary who was five years younger. His mother was a seamstress and his father was their town's sheriff. Although he wasn't just any sheriff. It was rumored that he was once one of the best and fastest shots of the west. H***, he might have been a boss. His dad would never reply to those questions though. It was believed that his brother was going to follow in his footsteps. He couldn't help but admire the two and their control of their guns. When a male in their family turns five they recieve a special gift. Kevin got the gift from their father and Michael from their mother. Kevin was given a pistol and Michael a necklace. Although Michael wanted a gun to he still cherished his gift just as much. At the age of 7 his father started teaching him how to use his revolver and although he had a knack for it he wasn't even close to as skilled as his brother. Nobody expected what would happen next. When Michael was 10 his father passed away from a heart attack. Although everybody was depressed Kevin had to work as the new town sheriff to support his family and the goal of becoming King of Gunmen. It was a horrible summer's night when it happened. Michael was only 13 now. Flames devoured buldings and gunshots rang through the air. The town was under attack. Kevin had told them all to stay in the basement and hide but Michael wouldn't. He wanted to help his brother. He didn't want another person he held so close to die. He ran outside only to realize he didn't have a gun. He looked around and found the body of a dead bandit. There was a black revolver only a few feet away. He picked it up and rushed over to the sheriff's office hoping to find his brother. In the distance he saw an unrecognizable figure in the distance. He took the shot but missed the first time. The figure turned around and quickly shot back. As he pulled the trigger again one of the figure's bullets hit him in the leg but it was to late. Michael had already shot. It was a direct hit and the figure fell down. He crawled over to the figure to see if he was dead or not. As he crawled over he only kept thinking about how proud his brother would be. Tears flooded his eyes when he saw the dead body of the man he had shot. It was his brother. He picked up Kevin's pistol and brought it to his head. He pulled the trigger only to get a different effect from what he expected. Instead of dying he felt more powerful than ever. It was his first gunspell and he knew it. Unfortunately there was no room for celebration. His mother was to depressed to scold him on running out and being shot. She was too depressed on the loss of Kevin. He was able to get the bullet taken out fine and bandaged up nicely too. He couldn't bear to tell the two that he was the murderer and everyday was racked with guilt. On his 14th birthday he decided he would have to make it up to everybody by continuing on with the dream of the men he idolized. He would become the King Of Gunmen! When he told his mom he was going to leave to become the King of Gunmen she gave him his father's gun. Now he tends to do whatever job comes his way and sends most of the money back to his mom and little sis. The revolver releases a shockwave over a distance of five feet until completely disappearing. As the wave goes the distance it dramatically weakens. At point blank it has the capability of doing anything from breaking bones to blowing out a chunk of the person. At one foot it can still break bones and dismember a body part if done right. At two feet it can knock an opponent onto the ground. Possible concussions and internal can be caused from the shockwave. At three feet the best it can do is knock the opponent down. At four it will very unlikely knock the opponent down but at least cause loss of balance. At five it will feel like a gust of wind but can't really do much. The recoil can be turned on or off. He usually has it off as to not mess up his attacks but if he needs a quick burst of speed or something along those lines he'll use it. A bullet is still used for this skill. Each revolver can use it every 10 seconds. [b]Reinforce-[/b]All guns in Michael's possession become nearly indestructible for two seconds. There's a cooldown of 5 seconds until it can be used again. He uses this gunspell for both deffense and offense. [b]W.D. 40%-[/b]A passive gunspell that decreases the weight of the guns in his possession by 40%. [b]Evoker-[/b]A gunspell that can only be used by the pistol (isn't willing to test it with the other guns). When the pistol is held to the head and the trigger is pulled instead of dying like most people the limits on his body are removed a little bit so that he can use another 10% of his maximum ability. It only lasts 5 minutes and he he is not able to use it again while already in use (again not willing to test it). When the five minutes are up he gets a horrible headache that lasts a minute. Her top consist of a white, thin strapped t-shirt; though she also wears a black jacket - it's always buttoned up - that comes all the way to where her shorts end, hiding her two guns. She wears a pair of old, dirty, black boots that holds her secret gun and knife. Around her neck is a white scarf. Katie keeps her chest bound as tight as possible, and with her overall appearance she passes for a boy. She finds it easier to get things done when they assume its a boy holding a gun. Katie keeps up the appearance that she is a boy so everyone thinks "Red Bullet" is a boy who's name is Kai. On her right shoulder she had a bullet wound, and on her right leg there is a scar on her shin from a knife.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Personality:] Katia, at first glance, gives off the aura of aloofness, and indifference. Whenever someone is describing her they say she is a cold blooded murderer, whos rude, crude, and just down right mean. Well who ever says that would be wrong. Katie is actually a kind hearted girl who was simply given the wrong paths to take. She's smart, and very resorceful when it calls for it. Katie enjoys helping people, feeling as though it's the most amount of good that she'll ever be able to do. She doesn't believe in taking a life if it can be helped, but she's not strictly against it. Her initial coldness towards others is usually shor term, and once she starts trusting you she'll let down her guard a bit and let her other side show. She also has a habit a suddenly appearing out of no where, so suddenly leaving without anyone noticing. Katie has a perfect poker face - perfect for gambling and tough spots - and isn't above using her feminin charms to get what she wants; though she'd never go as far as intercourse. When dueling she doesn't aim to kill, but simply to incompacitate.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Bio:] Katie was born in a small house, that boarded a slowly dwindling town in the west. Her and her parents never feally ventured into the town save to get food, clothes and other nessesities. To be honest her parents were a bit on the paranoid side. They didn't allow Katie to stray from the house or even go into town with or without them. She was confined to that house and as she grew older she came to dispise her living arrangements. Sure she loved her parents but why did they have to act this way? What was so terrible out there that they would practically hide the world from her. Katie figured that she would always be stuck in that house with no where to go. Though in her 10 year of living her chance to leave came, just not in the way she expected it to. It on a hot day - as per usual - when a man was seen on the horizon coming closer to the small home. Just like the paranoid people her parents were the ushered her into the house - she was outside at the time - and locked all of the doors. This time, however, their parinoia was rightly placed. Because this man had nothing but evil on his agenda. Without so much as a though he forced his way into the house, and quickly found the three family members. From point blank range he shout a single bullet into each of her parents, killing them instantly. The man then turned to look at Katie. His black cobalt eyes peircing into her own fearful blue ones. Then with a smirk at the child sitting in her parents pooling blood, he tossed the gun to her and then left. The next day when she went into town, and after seeing the blood on her the towns people went to investigate, and upon seeing the scene the first thing that came to them was; Katie killed her own parents. Ever since that day she had kept the gun, hoping to use it to on the man who killed her parents then left her to live. She quickly found that she had a certain knack for the gun, quickly becoming a skilled sharpshooter. Her nickname came from the fact that whenever she shot her gun, only one bullet was used and for some reason the bullet would be red; hence the term "Red bullet". Though she never really had to use more than one bullet, she always says that her opponents were simply that easy to kill. There was this one time when she had exhausted every bullet in her arsenal, but her opponent still had more bullets. Katie's gun was pressed to the man's head, her finger locked on the trigger even though she had no bullets. Even so she won the fight. She played mind games with the man making him believe that she still had bullets left. He could either take the chance or not. He couldn't see through her mask and in the end she won, with the man giving up. If he had chosen to take the risk she would have been a goner, but luckily the man wasn't a brave as he let on. [b]Pistol[/b] - A regular pistol that she hides on the inside of her left boot. Like her other gun it's all black with purple grips. [b]Throwing Knife[/b] - She hides this knife in her right boot.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Gunspells:] [b]Cold Front[/b] - The gun starts to give off a purpleish glow, before a blue mist begins to flow from the nozzle of the gun, and when the bullet is released the mist surrounds the bullet in a dome like impression. If the bullet hits then the appendage it hits instantly becomes numb. If the bullet misses but either comes inches from the skin, or grazes it, then the person will be suspected to extreme chills. [b]Iron Shot[/b] - The gun once again gives off a purple glow. This bullet has the capibility of shooting through iron - hence the name it was given. [b]Blizzard Breaker[/b] - Again the gun glows purple before the bullet is released, and again a blue mist spills from the gun. Once the bullet is release the bullet absorbs the surrounding mist, turning it a shade of light blue. The bullet the breaks into 7 equal shards before reaching the opponent. [b]Red Bullet[/b] - This is Katie's signature Gunspell, and the reason she got her name. Instead of the normal purple glow - this time the gun gives off a red hue, almost as if it's heating up. When the bullet leaves the chamber it is the normal color, but the speed of the bullet is so emmense that it rapidly heats up, making it appear as a red glow is coming towards you. [/spoiler] [spoiler=Bio] Emma grew up in a town where females were generally downgraded in society or at least not expect to be gunmen, or in Emma’s case, gunwomen. With her stubborn personality, this led Emma to try to defy society’s natural norms, but her early, peaceful efforts proved futile, mostly because she was too young, even with adult assistance. In her early teenage years, Emma’s town was raided, and she along with a few other young girls were kidnapped. These girls were quickly sold, but Emma was kept due to her physical appearance. Having stolen a gun and stashed it when the raiders were not looking, Emma shot a raider, accidently unleashing a gunspell: Cupid’s Arrow. The aura releashed, rather than fire or lightning, oddly enough was pink. The raider who was shot died within seconds, with the bullet miraculously hitting his heart, and the others were infatuated with Emma due to the spell. She asked to be released and they happily complied, only to regret their decision about an hour later when the spell wore off. Since then, Emma has been travelling to city to city on horseback. Having completely developed her gunspells by sixteen, Emma finds it easy to live off the land. However, she feels something is missing, and even at this point in time, she is not sure what it is. [/spoiler] [spoiler=Gunspells] Emma utilizes love gunspells, which instead of dealing with elements, releases a potent pink aura that attracts those who come in contact with it. Emma is an expert at what she knows, but she still expects to learn a few more spells later on in life. Cupid’s Arrow: The barrel of the gun glows for a few moments, and then releases the bullet, thus releasing the aura with it. The aura then expands, like a gas, covering a good amount of space around Emma. Anyone who breathes in the aura will find Emma suddenly much more attractive than before and often will do her bidding. The bullet itself has no effect on the target and the effect only lasts for less than an hour’s time. Aphrodite’s Kiss: Once again, the barrel of the gun glows for a few moments, and then releases the bullet at normal speed. No aura is released, and at first the bullet has no effect on the target. However, if anyone comes in contact, even slightly, with the bullet and then does harm to Emma, they will then feel compelled to apologize and soon after become in love with her. Ol' Bill was the owner of the shop, and the only family that John had ever had. You see, John was orphaned when he was a baby. Bill had found him, took him in, and raised him as his own. John had been living on the cot in the back room ever since. Over time, he had been collecting pieces of scrap metal. He was working on a secret project, a gun. Eventually, he had completed a sniper rifle, based upon a revolver he had seen. Every day on his time off, he went out to practice his shooting a distance off from a ranch, shooting chickens. One day, when he came back from pracice, he saw Bill being attacked. He was engaged in a gun fight with 3 men. John didn't know what to do. He saw a bullet pierce Bills shoulder. John needed to do something, so he aimed up his sights, and sniped at one of the men. while the other two checked on the man he had shot, he took his chance to check on Bill. He was about to die. John acted out of anger, and pulled out a knife and threw it. It his the man square in the back of the skull. The third man, must have been the leader, because he had fancier clothes than the other 2. John threw a knife at the man, who then dodged. The man shot his leg. John fell to the ground in pain. Just as the man was about to shoot him, he secretly picked up Bills revolver, and shot the man. The man did not die, but was thrown back the a concussive force. He had used his first Gunspell. John took this opportunity to shoot the man, taking revenge. After that, John set out to help others in need as a Gunman. The gun was built with a custom chamber, similar to that of a revolver, for a faster reload. Johns most used weapon. Multiple kinds of scopes can be attached to it, and the blade can be detached. Multiple bullets include explosive, poisoned, a bullet which has a tip that shatters on impact, and a bullet that curves. 2. Throwing Knives. These are full metal, even the handle. The blade is sharpened to it's thinnest point, and has double sided blades. These are built with an aerodynamic curve in the handle. 3. A .38 special Colt Diamondback revolver. It has a black barrel and cylinder. It has custom attachments and modifications built by John, such as a silencer, and an addition to the side of the chamber for quicker reloading.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Gunspells]John's Gunspells are based upon morphing the bullets after they are shot, rather than having elemental capabilities. Snipers Mark-If an enemy is hit, but not killed, an unseen mark is placed on them. John can see this mark, no matter where the marked person goes. This also increases the range of John's sniper, as it attracts his bullets, thus adding to the bullet speed. Lasts for 5 minutes. Aqua Star-The bullet shot heats up so much, that it melts while in the air before hitting the target. Concussive Bullet-When the bullet nears the target, the energy collected from the built up speed is released, and the bullet is destroyed, and the energy becomes a wave, or pulse that will knock the enemy back with force that is relative to the built up energy. Barrage-The bullet splits into 6 equal pieces. Concussive Barrage-The bullets split into 6 equal pieces, and then each release a concussive blast, but the energy is divided equally. This means that the energy in each bullet is significantly weaker. ie. He has a slightly large forehead with thin eyebrows that curve slightly above his eyes. His first defining trait is his heterochromatic eyes, his left eye is hazel-colored while the iris in his right eye is cerulean-colored. His nose is moderately sized with his chin being slightly rounded and arcs deeply to his throat. Albin has a modest build, though the biceps in his arms appear to be slightly more well-built than his legs. He wears a black vest with a red long-sleeved shirt under it. He wears black jeans with a blue belt and brown boots. [/Spoiler] [b]Personality[/b]: [Spoiler=Personality] Cynical, Mentally-unstable, Psychotic, and Crazy are common labels most people give to Albin when they first meet him. Albin has no qualms stooping to new lows to achieve his aims. He can appear calm and collected at times, but can easily disintegrate into violent threats, almost insane laughter, and derogatory comments. Despite what people label as his "Mental Status", Albin is thoughtful, calculating, and an intelligent individual. Albin also seems to have a mental calculator in his head at some times, doing some complex math in near seconds but at most times doesn't show that side of him. His principal obsession is money, all of his exploits and misdeeds are justified in his head that it was to obtain money and in his mind, money is the end that justifies all means. [/Spoiler] [b]Bio[/b]: [Spoiler=Bio] Most of Albin's history is unknown to everyone, save himself. The farthest anyway can trace his history is back to when he was 11 working at a tavern at the deepest ends of the Wild West. He grew up living on the outskirts of the town where the tavern was located and stealing whatever he could get his hands on while under a cloak he wore over his head as he rushed past. Soon enough, the tavern and town were ransacked by bandits and Albin fled as far as he could away and he was luckily never caught. He made his way to a small town that was situated a few miles away. By that time, Albin turned 15 and began working at whatever job he could find. When he was 16 and a half, Albin suddenly vanished from the shop he worked for and began his work as a gunman. At first, Albin wasn't the Albin of present. He was much calmer and even had a witty sense of humor and he hadn't killed anyone yet. It suddenly changed when Albin had his first duel. From then on, he learned to love the smell of blood and his mind slowly deteriorated into madness. They don't have much effect if a person expects them, but are deadly effective and powerful against those without such knowledge and can still hold their own even if a person expects it. o [i]Ghoulspook[/i]: The gun Albin is holding radiates a violent purple. It causes targets to hallucinate into seeing horrifying visions such as a terrifying black reaper ghost coming at them with a long scythe or possibly even more terrifying and gory scenes. The gun first fires a sound wave that traps everyone who hears it into the hallucination. The sound wave sounds like a ghost screaming and the target must hear the sound for it to affect them, thus it won't work if the target is wearing ear plugs or is deaf. o [i]Stigma bullet[/i]: The gun Albin is holding glows black. It fires a single bullet that if it hits the target causes the wound to grow worse at an increasing rate. o [i]Fade[/i]: The gun Albin is holding glows red before shooting a red colored bullet. The target soon experiences blurred vision that gets worse as they get closer to Albin. At far distances, the target's vision is completely normal, but becomes worse based on his proximity to Albin. The effect lasts for 1 day or until the person drinks the antidote Albin keeps. o [i]Insanity[/i]: The gun glows blue and causes any target hit by the following bullet to slowly lose his/her mind. The bullet does no physical damage and the target will seem unharmed, but will slowly begin to lose their mind after 20 minutes pass. At 35 minutes, the victim is almost completely insane and will begin to babble gibbrish at which their seeming mental condition will deteriorate. The effect lasts for 1 hour. He also likes to take his guns apart and put them back together. Michael also likes to train, figure out strategies, and adding to his combat style. More casual hobbies include playing games such as blackjack or liar's dice. He's also into parkour though he considers it training. [spoiler=Appearance] Michael is 5'8" and weighs around 145 pounds. Although he doesn't really seem like it he is strong, fast, and fairly flexible for a guy (splits are defiantly out of there for him). He has straight blonde hair and dark blue eyes. Even in high temperatures he wears a black shirt with a blue jacket over it. He wears the necklace with the blue crystals he recieved from his mother. He likes to wear blue jeans although in a fight he'd rather be wearing something some a bit more loose. He wears a brown leather belt that has three gun holsters. The two on both of his sides are for his revolvers and the one right above his butt is for his pistol. He's more or less just antisocial and tends not to like most people. He's got a very short temper though and with his a**holishness tends to get him into a lot of fights He can't stand when somebody goes up against a clearly weaker person or gangs up on somebody. He doesn't care if somebody thinks negatively of him or if somebody knows he thinks negatively of them. When he feels a bond with someone he'll be much more open and kind although it might not seem like it at times. He's about average when it really comes to I.Q. but is a much more clever guy. Some say that he's suicidal for his up close fighting style and all the other suicidal things he does though to him what they call suicidal is just funner for him. [spoiler=Holy S*** Long Bio] Michael was born into a fanmily that was doiing well for themself. They weren't rich or anything but they had the necessities and eachother. He had two siblings. Kevin who was five years older and Mary who was five years younger. His mother was a seamstress and his father was their town's sheriff. Although he wasn't just any sheriff. It was rumored that he was once one of the best and fastest shots of the west. H***, he might have been a boss. His dad would never reply to those questions though. It was believed that his brother was going to follow in his footsteps. He couldn't help but admire the two and their control of their guns. When a male in their family turns five they recieve a special gift. Kevin got the gift from their father and Michael from their mother. Kevin was given a pistol and Michael a necklace. Although Michael wanted a gun to he still cherished his gift just as much. At the age of 7 his father started teaching him how to use his revolver and although he had a knack for it he wasn't even close to as skilled as his brother. Nobody expected what would happen next. When Michael was 10 his father passed away from a heart attack. Although everybody was depressed Kevin had to work as the new town sheriff to support his family and the goal of becoming King of Gunmen. It was a horrible summer's night when it happened. Michael was only 13 now. Flames devoured buldings and gunshots rang through the air. The town was under attack. Kevin had told them all to stay in the basement and hide but Michael wouldn't. He wanted to help his brother. He didn't want another person he held so close to die. He ran outside only to realize he didn't have a gun. He looked around and found the body of a dead bandit. There was a black revolver only a few feet away. He picked it up and rushed over to the sheriff's office hoping to find his brother. In the distance he saw an unrecognizable figure in the distance. He took the shot but missed the first time. The figure turned around and quickly shot back. As he pulled the trigger again one of the figure's bullets hit him in the leg but it was to late. Michael had already shot. It was a direct hit and the figure fell down. He crawled over to the figure to see if he was dead or not. As he crawled over he only kept thinking about how proud his brother would be. Tears flooded his eyes when he saw the dead body of the man he had shot. It was his brother. He picked up Kevin's pistol and brought it to his head. He pulled the trigger only to get a different effect from what he expected. Instead of dying he felt more powerful than ever. It was his first gunspell and he knew it. Unfortunately there was no room for celebration. His mother was to depressed to scold him on running out and being shot. She was too depressed on the loss of Kevin. He was able to get the bullet taken out fine and bandaged up nicely too. He couldn't bear to tell the two that he was the murderer and everyday was racked with guilt. On his 14th birthday he decided he would have to make it up to everybody by continuing on with the dream of the men he idolized. He would become the King Of Gunmen! When he told his mom he was going to leave to become the King of Gunmen she gave him his father's gun. Now he tends to do whatever job comes his way and sends most of the money back to his mom and little sis. The revolver releases a shockwave over a distance of five feet until completely disappearing. As the wave goes the distance it dramatically weakens. At point blank it has the capability of doing anything from breaking bones to blowing out a chunk of the person. At one foot it can still break bones and dismember a body part if done right. At two feet it can knock an opponent onto the ground. Possible concussions and internal can be caused from the shockwave. At three feet the best it can do is knock the opponent down. At four it will very unlikely knock the opponent down but at least cause loss of balance. At five it will feel like a gust of wind but can't really do much. The recoil can be turned on or off. He usually has it off as to not mess up his attacks but if he needs a quick burst of speed or something along those lines he'll use it. A bullet is still used for this skill. Each revolver can use it every 10 seconds. [b]Reinforce-[/b]All guns in Michael's possession become nearly indestructible for two seconds. There's a cooldown of 5 seconds until it can be used again. He uses this gunspell for both deffense and offense. [b]W.D. 40%-[/b]A passive gunspell that decreases the weight of the guns in his possession by 40%. [b]Evoker-[/b]A gunspell that can only be used by the pistol (isn't willing to test it with the other guns). When the pistol is held to the head and the trigger is pulled instead of dying like most people the limits on his body are removed a little bit so that he can use another 10% of his maximum ability. It only lasts 5 minutes and he he is not able to use it again while already in use (again not willing to test it). When the five minutes are up he gets a horrible headache that lasts a minute. Above her nose sits a set of crystal blue eyes, that can give you the impression of a calm sea, or an icy tundra. She's average height - about 5'3 - and weighs arough 137 pounds. Her attire consists of jean shorts that reach to her middle thigh, and have the appearance of the rest being torn off. They aren't seen though as she wears a pair of brown pants over them. Around her waist is a brown belt that hold the two gun holsters at the back. Her top consist of a white, thin strapped t-shirt; though she also wears a black jacket - it's always buttoned up - that comes all the way to where her shorts end, hiding her two guns. She wears a pair of old, dirty, black boots that holds her secret gun and knife. Around her neck is a white scarf. Katie keeps her chest bound as tight as possible, and with her overall appearance she passes for a boy. She finds it easier to get things done when they assume its a boy holding a gun. Katie keeps up the appearance that she is a boy so everyone thinks "Red Bullet" is a boy who's name is Kai. On her right shoulder she had a bullet wound, and on her right leg there is a scar on her shin from a knife.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Personality:] Katia, at first glance, gives off the aura of aloofness, and indifference. Whenever someone is describing her they say she is a cold blooded murderer, whos rude, crude, and just down right mean. Well who ever says that would be wrong. Katie is actually a kind hearted girl who was simply given the wrong paths to take. She's smart, and very resorceful when it calls for it. Katie enjoys helping people, feeling as though it's the most amount of good that she'll ever be able to do. She doesn't believe in taking a life if it can be helped, but she's not strictly against it. Her initial coldness towards others is usually shor term, and once she starts trusting you she'll let down her guard a bit and let her other side show. She also has a habit a suddenly appearing out of no where, so suddenly leaving without anyone noticing. Katie has a perfect poker face - perfect for gambling and tough spots - and isn't above using her feminin charms to get what she wants; though she'd never go as far as intercourse. When dueling she doesn't aim to kill, but simply to incompacitate.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Bio:] Katie was born in a small house, that boarded a slowly dwindling town in the west. Her and her parents never feally ventured into the town save to get food, clothes and other nessesities. To be honest her parents were a bit on the paranoid side. They didn't allow Katie to stray from the house or even go into town with or without them. She was confined to that house and as she grew older she came to dispise her living arrangements. Sure she loved her parents but why did they have to act this way? What was so terrible out there that they would practically hide the world from her. Katie figured that she would always be stuck in that house with no where to go. Though in her 10 year of living her chance to leave came, just not in the way she expected it to. It on a hot day - as per usual - when a man was seen on the horizon coming closer to the small home. Just like the paranoid people her parents were the ushered her into the house - she was outside at the time - and locked all of the doors. This time, however, their parinoia was rightly placed. Because this man had nothing but evil on his agenda. Without so much as a though he forced his way into the house, and quickly found the three family members. From point blank range he shout a single bullet into each of her parents, killing them instantly. The man then turned to look at Katie. His black cobalt eyes peircing into her own fearful blue ones. Then with a smirk at the child sitting in her parents pooling blood, he tossed the gun to her and then left. The next day when she went into town, and after seeing the blood on her the towns people went to investigate, and upon seeing the scene the first thing that came to them was; Katie killed her own parents. Ever since that day she had kept the gun, hoping to use it to on the man who killed her parents then left her to live. She quickly found that she had a certain knack for the gun, quickly becoming a skilled sharpshooter. Her nickname came from the fact that whenever she shot her gun, only one bullet was used and for some reason the bullet would be red; hence the term "Red bullet". Though she never really had to use more than one bullet, she always says that her opponents were simply that easy to kill. There was this one time when she had exhausted every bullet in her arsenal, but her opponent still had more bullets. Katie's gun was pressed to the man's head, her finger locked on the trigger even though she had no bullets. Even so she won the fight. She played mind games with the man making him believe that she still had bullets left. He could either take the chance or not. He couldn't see through her mask and in the end she won, with the man giving up. If he had chosen to take the risk she would have been a goner, but luckily the man wasn't a brave as he let on. [/spoiler] [u][b]Gunman Info[/b][/u] [spoiler=Weapons:] [spoiler=Revolver][IMG]http://i53.tinypic.com/292p768.jpg[/IMG][/spoiler] [b].44 Magnum Revolver[/b] - Costumized to have an 8-shot barrel instead of the normal 6-shots. She carries two of these on holsters that are on the rear of her belt and in a horizontal position. The body of the gun is alabaster black, with the grips being a deep, and rich purple. [b]Pistol[/b] - A regular pistol that she hides on the inside of her left boot. Like her other gun it's all black with purple grips. [b]Throwing Knife[/b] - She hides this knife in her right boot.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Gunspells:] [b]Cold Front[/b] - The gun starts to give off a purpleish glow, before a blue mist begins to flow from the nozzle of the gun, and when the bullet is released the mist surrounds the bullet in a dome like impression. If the bullet hits then the appendage it hits instantly becomes numb. If the bullet misses but either comes inches from the skin, or grazes it, then the person will be suspected to extreme chills. [b]Iron Shot[/b] - The gun once again gives off a purple glow. This bullet has the capibility of shooting through iron - hence the name it was given. [b]Blizzard Breaker[/b] - Again the gun glows purple before the bullet is released, and again a blue mist spills from the gun. Once the bullet is release the bullet absorbs the surrounding mist, turning it a shade of light blue. The bullet the breaks into 7 equal shards before reaching the opponent. [b]Red Bullet[/b] - This is Katie's signature Gunspell, and the reason she got her name. Instead of the normal purple glow - this time the gun gives off a red hue, almost as if it's heating up. When the bullet leaves the chamber it is the normal color, but the speed of the bullet is so emmense that it rapidly heats up, making it appear as a red glow is coming towards you.
