Zextra
Wow...everyone loves the Kyubi
Dementuo
'Course. Every time it gets portrayed in a game or a show, it's made out as this amazingly awesome thing.
Zextra
Yeah...except for Ninetails, where its considered average...
Dementuo
Meh. I like Ninetails.
Zextra
I like it as a Pokemon, but I don't like using it in a battle
Dementuo
Well... It did play a rather large role in the first Mystery Dungeon games.
Kelp'
Yeah I don't like Ninetales in battle, because it basically only learns fire attacks. Unless you count like Confuse Ray or something like that.
Dementuo
I hate Confuse Ray. It's simple, and annoying.
Zextra
Well, it's not just that. It's that Ninetails' base stats are pretty weak...
Myst
Ninetales is pretty cute, don't like it for battle as well, it sucks in it. I'd rather get Typhlosion..
Dementuo
Typhlosion rulez.
Zextra
Typhlosion is a beast, but only in terms of Starters... In competitive battling, Typhlosion is barely ever used, because there are so many better options...
Dementuo
Typhlosion + Charcoal + Eruption + @Level 100 = Instant kills every time.
Myst
Typhlosion's still awesome in Battle Frontier 1-hit KOs
Dementuo
Exactly. But what about Charizard? Fire-Flying types are amazing (Since Charizard is the only one I know of)
Zextra
Moltres? It's legal in all Battle Frontier facilities. For some reason, I sweep most in Battle Frontier using a Dragonite (which seems stupid, seeing as how Salamence and Garchomp are clearly better)
Myst
Moltres is one, Charizard's okay, I guess, Fire-Fighting can defeat a lotta Pokemons in Battle Hall since there are 7 Types that are weak to it.
Dementuo
You mean the failed Sinnoh starter? Empoleon was actually really good. Water-Steel is a good matchup.
Zextra
Empoleon kicks a**! Too bad it's so slow, though...
Dementuo
It reminds me of the Ifrit Aeon in FFX. It's powerful as hell (lolplayonwords), and it DOES kick a**, but it's just so slow.
Zextra
It also reminds me of Ganondorf in Brawl. His attacks are slow as hell, but they're extremely powerful if it connects.
Dementuo
FALCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON... PUNCH!!!
Myst
I hate Ganondorf in Brawl. I like Kirby, Jigglypuff and Lucario DA best
Zextra
except Captain Falcon isn't slow as a character; just that attack...Kirby is the best character EVER! ^^
Dementuo
I prefer Sonic (You're too slow!) and Lucario. Ike is alright, but Marth is a little better. And Kirby is fairly good, but on large stages like New Pork City or the Hyrule Temple from Melee, Pit and Meta Knight are the best. Just glide 'round the bottom.
