Touhou Sky Arena

Well it looks like Area-Zero is developing a new Touhou game! Touhou Sky Arena ladies and gentleman! No wonder why they havent released the new MBA update. They have been very busy making this awesome game. The trial was sold during the past Winter Comiket (it contained Marisa and Reimu only but the official one will have more). And its predicted that they will release the official game with all the characters on March 2011. Right now they are looking for dubbers to make the voices of Youmu, Alice, Utusho, and Suwako. I wish I could post some images but we cant post images on this section D:.

I knew this day would come.

It was obvious as soon as the first game about flying lesbians with giant boomsticks came out.

But to be honest, I'm not ready.

I can't handle the awesome right now.

OKAY LET'S SEE WHAT WE'VE GOT.

Reimu, Marisa, Cirno, Sakuya, Youmu, Alice, Utsuho and Suwako.
Reimu:
I'm guessing she'll be akin to Nanoha given her homing weapons, at least for her Spirit Signs. The Persuasion Needle is probably also long-range, given the high speed of the projectiles and three mêlée attacks. I'm generally best with Reimu, and if this impression is correct, it won't be any different here.

Marisa:
She can pretty much handle any range, and it looks like she has more of a mêlée focus than Reimu. I'm guessing high-speed, high-output, decent-projectile, low-range, like Fate StrikerS except with lazors.

Cirno:
The nine-ball is probably doomed to be the Kukuri of the game, though that could work in her favour depending on how her icicle-sign works.

Sakuya:
TIME STOP F*** YEAH
Honestly, I first pictured Sakuya as an MBA character with S+X being Sakuya's Special Stopwatch. I wonder if I'll be something akin to right... IDK how that move pool works, though. Also, I'm guessing she'll be [i]very[/i] similar to Fate -- they can steal Photon Lancer and call it Clock Corpse/Jack the Ripper, and she tends to be the any-range type Fate was.
Then again, her moves tend towards the non-aimed ([i]Indiscriminate[/i] is on there), so I could be completely wrong.

Youmu:
Pure mêlée, duh. I'm guessing many well-timed Master Sparks/Fantasy Seals will be needed for me to fight her since I suck at mêlée.

Alice:
...I have no idea. If I had to guess, I'd say she'd take advantage of a mine-laying mechanic not in MBA for at least one of her modes, given that Rainbow Wire is on the move list. She's blazing new territory, just like her usual Gensokyo activity.

Suwako:
Another mêlée focus, though more Sarara-like projectile-wise than Lulu-like. Mishaguji-sama would have made a great S+C+Z in MBA, but I have no idea how it'll work here -- probably an AoE like in Hisoutensoku rather than the nightmare for the eyes in Fuujinroku.

Utsuho:
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
A very simple nuke (pun sort of intended), most likely. But I really, really wanna see them work Septentrion into a viable move (it's her strongest, apparently).

Pity there's no other gamebreakers besides Suwako; Yukari in particular would have been nice. Oh well; I'll hope for expansion packs... AND THIS WILL BE AWESOME no matter what, so.

Yea this game is gonna be awesome. I wish I lived in Japan so I could assist to the Winter Comiket and bought the trial of the game. Well the trial has only Reimu and Marisa so it can be worth it to wait until March so it has all the characters ^^.
